River City Lawn & Landscaping in Bismarck

Had these guys relevel our backyard. Take out top few inches of sand soil and put in new black dirt. They made the yard worse!! Water puddles up now and water flows back towards the house instead of away from the house. Told them while they were doing the job that it didn't look right but they told me they know what there doing and pretty much blew me off. Told them I wasn't happy with the outcome and needed to be fixed. They said ok. We were on vacation and they called me said they were at the house fixed everything and it was all good now. Got home watched ring door bell footage no one ever was at our house. They totally lied straight up!! Told me the black dirt was really good. It wasn't. It was full of debris..weeds..barbed wire..metal scrap. Have called them..texted them even drove to there shop to try and get some resolution. I haven't got a response...not a one. Totally blew me off with no cares or regrets. Stay away from these guys. Quality of work is average if that and the customer service is terrible! You'll be happier finding someone else!!!

River City Lawn & Landscaping does great work. They are thorough and organized, and make sure the project plan is according to specification for the client. They are also excellent with communication. They provide updates on the project and quick responses to any questions or concerns. Their crew has a good work ethic, and they work consistently throughout their shifts.

This was the first landscape project we’ve ever had. Corey and his team took the time to listen to what we had in mind, and offered suggestions when we weren’t sure what would look nice. Dirt work, retaining walls, landscaping, sprinklers, they can do it all. This made things much simpler for us not having to juggle multiple contractors. Thanks again to Corey and his team for turning our dirt lot into a beautiful yard we can enjoy for years to come.

Cory and his crew have done an excellent job for me. They did a retaining wall in 2021 and rocks around the perimeter of my home. The retaining wall looks so professionally done. I get a lot of compliments on it. In 2022, they did landscaping using rocks around the retaining wall to aid in controlling the water coming from the downspouts and I love the results. In the future, I plan to use River City Lawn & Landscaping for all my landscaping and lawn needs. Thank you Cory and the crew for another job well done.

River City did the landscaping at our new home which included topsoil, grading, concrete edging, rock, and hydroseeding. Corey worked with us on a delayed schedule, and the crew did a great job of completing the project. Would recommend for sure!

Contracted Rivercity to place in parking pad along side of garage and landscape around the house. Excellent service. All requirements I asked for were met. Very professional team that even added there own creative flare to the project which we really appreciated. Also appreciated that they cleaned up at the end of each day until project was completed. Would definitely hire them again.

Rivercitys crew has been great to work with the last 2 years they have been doing spraying for me. Corey comes out before hand and assesses the ground and listens to our input then alters the spraying to our specific needs. I highly recommend them.
