The technician was timely and very professional. He carefully examined the yard and performed all necessary treatments that were needed. I was very pleased with my technician and service.
I have been utilizing their services for nearly a year and am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service provided. Despite their claim of having serviced my lawn on one occasion, they failed to show up as there was no evidence captured by my security cameras. Additionally, I have lodged complaints about the persistent presence of crabgrass and dallisgrass in my yard, but the situation has not improved. They are all in a rush, quickly spraying and moving on to complete too many tasks in a day. During their last visit to service my lawn, I was awoken by the sound of my back gate closing at 6:45 in the morning.
I believe Larry is doing a great job with improving our lawn. We talked today about adding a treatment of lime ? Can we make that happen ?
Wow...we received such quick and friendly first treatments!!! Great service and great service men!!! Today, Darius, was the TruGreen technician that serviced our yard...right on time, the combination from the office was thorough...our yard is looking fantastic...one of the best decisions we have ever made was to call and sign up with TruGreen...October 11, 2024. On October 28 Darius was our technician and did a fabulous job...informative and on time and a real professional...we really appreciate him and the other techs you have sent ti service our yard. We made a great decision to go with TruGreen
Need to be more through. They all seem to be in a hurry to get finished & get gone. Lately, they also don't seem to be very knowledgeble about the treatment they are applying. They sprayed for weeds & killed my grass more than once. I tried calling about it but got someone that couldn't speak english very well, & didn't understand my problem. She said she would have a supervisor call me, but that didn't happen. The last technician said he would have a supervisor call me also. That hasn't happened either. The last person was only going to treat half of my bushes, until I said something to him.

Eric has done an outstanding job on my lawn.💯👏 Look at the picture below.👀 This young man is very professional,well mannered,know his job very well,knows how to talk to the customer,carry himself self very well,and knows how to treat the customer!!! Eric Brown is a great example of an employee for True Green. I am going to call the corporate office to may sure that you are getting recognized by your manager. Last Edit - Stars reduced from 2 to 1 effective 07/20/23: As previously mentioned, resumed services with TruGreen in June and fully planned to update our review based on performance. Our property was treated on June 29th. We waited 7-21 days for our weeds to wilt as mentioned in our treatment plan. There was no change in our weed issue, resulting in a service call for retreatment on 07/19/23. I was advised at that time that we were scheduled for lime service on 07/20/23 (today) and requested the agent add a note to treat for weeds while visiting our property. I arrived home from work at 4:10 PM on 07/20/23 and noticed there were no flags in the yard. Upon closer inspection, our lawn had not been treated. At that time I logged into the TruGreen app to check the status of our service. The technician was close and scheduled to arrive at 5:50 (off memory). I was happy at that point as I could show him/her the areas of concern in person. At 5:25 PM I received a notification on the app that the technician arrived and walked onto the porch to greet them. There was no one there. I was not alarmed until I received a $55+ statement seconds later. I reviewed our camera activity for the day to confirm no one has been on our property today, much less rang the doorbell or applied service. At this time I called customer service. I was offered a retreat, which is fine and good. Unfortunately, this does not solve the real problem, technicians are not completing services as evident by the condition of our lawn. I was offered a discount by the customer service agent. Honestly, I am not interested in a discount. All we want is to receive services and not feel we have to babysit employees that should be held accountable by someone other than the customer. I have spent far more time and effort attempting to be a partner in our lawn than anyone from TruGreen has spent treating our lawn at this point. We have canceled our services again and will be seeking a new service effective immediately. Edited to add 7/11/23: I was contacted by TruGreen shortly after posting my original review for additional information. They sent a manager to my property to access the concerns. I agreed to resume service and give them an opportunity to rectify the issues. On 6/29/23 our yard was fertilized and treated for broadleaf, dallas grass, nut grass and others. So far the weeds are not showing signs of giving up the fight but we know it can take a month for the chemicals to do their job. We have pulled a lot of the most fierce weeds in the hopes of speeding the process along. I'll update the progress in a couple of weeks. Original review: After over a year of service with TruGreen I give up. I can do bad all by myself. We were promised the best yard in the block during our initial consultation. We did everything, watered, mowed well and even pulled more weeds than I care to admit, eventually giving up due to the severe amount of them. Often they would visit and our cameras didn't pick up activity. These are the same cameras that catch every bunny that hops through our yard. We didn't complain as it was nothing more than a suspicion. The final straw was our last service in early May. The tech left a note stating no chemicals were applied yet we were charged! I called customer service and was scheduled for a retreat. The tech did not spot spray our quickly multiplying weeds. This time I was home and watched. They did spread fertilizer though apparently the broadcaster was not working properly and left a trail of concentrated fertilizer through our yard. Yes, this burnt a trail which added insult to injury. I'm not sure if this is a training issue or if they are just lazy. Regardless, I can't trust them to do the one job they are paid to do.
It's been an experience with this company. We had a very lazy lawn care man assigned to our property. We called to report and they had someone come back within 24 hours and it was done right. The jury is still out about how effective this service is however, they are on top of their customer service in a very good way. We are hopeful that they will have our lawn in Tip-Top shape really soon. Will update in a few weeks 😃

The technicians are terrible and do not spray like they are suppose to. You will pay 50 bucks every 2 months for someone to come park in front of your house. Oh than they try to call you and up sell you on some mysterious bugs they find in your yard, and charge you even more for a program to treat that! Ed, Edd & Eddy would be proud of this scheme.

Andrew answered all my questions regarding my issue. He explained what he was going to do during the service call.
I contracted w TruGreen s Rep to pay in Advance for my Front, sides, and small backyard areas to be treated. When the techs came today, their printed orders did not have the correct yard square footage, as the backyard was not ordered. The Tech was great to show me the discrepancy, as a pet was stipulated on the order. Their order on-site brought only had approximately 3500sq ft and my original order is over 3800sq ft that includes the small yard backyard strip of grass, allowing that wooded areas inclined are not in the contract. The Tech was Great to do what the original contract stipulated. My ACTION IS TO SPEAK AGAIN WITH MY REP, KANE, to correct this SITUATION, so that I WILL NOT BE AT A LOSS FOR ANY FUTURE TRU GREEN VISITS FOR APPLICATIONS!!! This CONTRACT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HONORED AND ADMINISTRATION ORDERS FOR TECHS SHOULD BE CORRECTED!!!

Nicholas is great!! TruGreen s promotional materials regarding the aeration package (which states it includes overseeding) is misleading as I was told by Nicholas who spoke to his manager that overseeding is for more northern climates and is not available in Alabama, which your promotional materials fail to point out. Nicholas did re-aerate the yard because he noticed it was firm and compacted even after the first aeration. That s why I m giving Nicholas 5 stars.

Your specialist is doing a good job with my lawn. Patches of broad leaf weeds remain but there is good improvement.
I prepaid for lime application in 2023. The service ticket stated that pre and post emergent spray was applied, no lime. I called Trugreen for a reimburse for the misapplication of product but was told no, Trugreen will not reimburse for the misapplication of product. Plus, they said they had service tickets for me to pay, that never did show up on the my online account or app.

If you use TruGreen, please be aware the technicians may not be applying the treatment you are paying for. I signed up for TruGreen for a year long contract. On three separate occasions during that contract I happened to be working from the house. The technician showed up to service my lawn. However, the technician didnt even get out of the truck. I then receive a text telling me my lawn service has been completed and my account shows a detailed breakdown on what the technician applied to my lawn. However, this is impossible as the technician never stepped foot outside of the truck. Im unsure if any of the treatment was ever applied since Im not always at the house when the tech comes by to service the lawn. Also, I was unaware that my contract ended. I was never informed by TruGreen. I couldnt remember when I signed the 12 month contract but I had thought they would at least send an email regarding renewing service. This never happened. Instead, TruGreen sends a bill 4 months later expecting payment for a service I never agreed to. Once again, Im unsure if I was even receiving this service since TruGreen has a history of accepting payment but not performing service. I would highly recommend going with another lawn treatment service provider. There are many honest ones out there. Unfortunately, TruGreen is not one of them.
Shrubs and weeds were growing out of control. I expressed my concerns to the specialist Andrew and he provided exceptional service by servicing all areas that had overgrown weeds and shrubs and also applied it to my entire lawn so it ll be in perfect condition for the summer. I hope to see a much improved lawn this year.

Absolutely awful to deal with. The service was ok, but the constant upsell phone calls were invasive. Good luck when you try to cancel - took about two hours, and it cannot be done from their online portal - the link doesnt work.

I am a new customer....received notification yesterday that you guys would be here today. Received text 6:52am to tell me they were on their way. I couldnt be there and wasnt sure how all this would play out...but received a text when they were done AND talked with Toni who sold me on True Green. Also was able to get PDF on everything done today in great detail and was left notes at my home too. I am impressed...with everything.

I dont know how these people stay in business. they just come by and put a flag in the yard half the time and I have cameras to prove this. and my yard looks significantly worse than When they started. I have dead grass and patchy grass and somehow believe it or not more weeds... theyre a different kind of weeds but more weeds none the less. The employees are nice enough but not at all knowledgeable because when I ask questions they never have answers for me. Nothing is guaranteed and no one seems to care that nothing is getting accomplished

Just like the last lawn service company we used, they said they performed a service but did not actually do the job. Ring camera shows the tech in the neighbors yard but never did anything to ours. Sent an invoice claiming job was complete. Canceled service immediately.
Nicolas is the absolute best! Always very friendly, respectful, thorough, and knowledgeable. I dropped True Green because of them billing me for a service they never performed. I tried another company but their customer service and communication were horrible. I decided to give True Green another chance and was greatly disappointed after my first service. My back yard and side yard were not completed. After one month, the weeds were worse than before. After calling in, they sent Nicolas out. He informed me that the previous chemicals were ineffective on my type of weeds and explained the difference in treatments. Thanks to Nicolas, my yard is on it s way back to being plush and green. True Green, this is the type of employee that makes companies great. It s rare to experience great customer service these days . Thank you Nicolas for everything you do. You are greatly appreciated!!

Requested to receive a quote and spoke with a lovely rep named Katie. She was polite and provided a quote plus information for how to contact them to setup service after reviewing other prices in the area. I then received multiple calls within a 24 hour time span that I ignored. I finally answered a call and the rep continued to push for the sale after I explained that I had already gotten a quote and was price shopping. I then explained that I was about to eat dinner and then the rep was unbelievably rude and started yelling at me about how they were trying to keep me from making a mistake and wasting $3000. They then hung up on me. I definitely will not be working with this company for my lawn care needs and hope that rep gets help with whatever caused them to be so distressed.
Jonathan came back today to finish treating the yard for weeds and apply fertilizer to thicken and green up the yard. I was mowing the grass on the side of the house when they came on Monday so they came back today to finish. Thanks so much.
Please please please make sure you get to know your TruGreen Specialist. Although I m glad with the service, there have been occasions where the specialist skipped certain areas. In all though I d been super satisfied.
Technician is very professional and always communicates with me about the needs that I have with my lawn. My lawn is not perfect but it looks great-better than any other in the neighborhood !!!

I ve had similar services at previous homes, but I ve never started with a yard as bad as this one. This made a big difference quickly, and Aaliyah is a great tech to work with.

Not happy at all with services; techs only do front yard when I asked to have side and back yard serviced. Barely care for trees. I have weeds popping up in my front and backyard along with mushroom! I m so tired of this. Additionally, they have priced my services based on my neighbors yard which is larger. SMH.
Kaitlyn Rodgers was an extremely patient and knowledgeable representative. My family has been utilizing these services for over a decade and were seriously contemplating canceling their contract. Kaitlyn was attentive and really took time to listen and resolve our concerns. She also made sure a regional manager came to our home to answer any additional questions. She provided a wonderful consumer experience and we greatly appreciate her.
I rated you 4 instead of 5 because Ive been paying for your service for many years and I have had a problem with weeds in the yard this year. Id did notice in the summary that he treated for weeds this time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Our first guy sent out billed us for fertilizer and only spot sprayed a few weeds on one side of our front yard. First visit was a fail. Never made it to the sides or the back. I guess he missed the security cameras we rolled back to see he had done nothing. Second guy they sent out sent us a bill and job completion invoice before he ever got out of his vehicle. When I walked out of my house to ask why he billed me and hadnt even opened his vehicle door, he replied That was just the work order. It certainly was not. He sent a bill for the amount of fertilizer he spread and the area he covered. He proceeded with fertilizing half of our yard and left in a hurry. Never made it to our back yard and he KNEW I was home. We have put in 5 request to speak with manager David Jones and have heard absolutely nothing back in a months time. The employees are terrible but I dont expect much if the manager cant even return a phone call, how could he possibly manage employees to complete jobs. You can expect to speak with different representatives all over the country every time you call the local number. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS SCAMMING COMPANY.

Regrettably, I wouldnt recommend TruGreen due to my personal experience of sub-par service and neglect towards their commitments. I contacted them a year ago to revive my yard, which had been neglected by the former homeowner. Unfortunately, my yard remains in the same poor condition - full of weeds and assorted grass types, which is disappointing considering the size of the yard (7x12) seemed like an easy win. I also had a disappointing encounter with their customer service. Without informing me of my contracts termination date, they took the liberty of performing extra services beyond the agreed amount, resulting in additional charges. It says in their contract that they will continue services after the initial calendar year, but the emphasis here is that they performed additional services within the same calendar year. In my eyes, I had till October to cancel, but they performed an additional service in September, resulting in the charge. 100% not okay with me. Marissa from Customer Service ensured me that a refund would be issued for the additional service, but that never happened. Therefore, their services fell short of my expectations on all fronts - yard maintenance and customer service.

This company is bogus. They have ruined my lawn a beautiful lawn is now half dead. When they came out they dont know what theyre doing at all. I paid in full for a year. Actor round and round with him for 2 months I got my refund. Dont check for someone local that will really care. I dont believe two green can keep employees so youre always getting a green pea. They kept hounding me and hounded me they wanted to do it I finally had to call the sheriff to get them off my property.
Came today sprayed yard, no problems. I read the summary of the visit & noticed the guy stated he knocked on the door. Not true, I saw him drive up & waited right inside the door for him, never knocked or rang the doorbell. But, no problem for him to treat yard & not come to door, I would question his honesty since he stated he did.
