A friend of mine had recommended proud gardens to me as i was tired of cutting the grass in the summer every other week. Rhys came round and priced everything up for me and was really polite and nice to deal with. I booked in and had two lads turn up as promised. I used Jake and the team from Proud gardens to design and complete a composite decked patio area with artificial grass and new pleached trees on my new build property in Blythe Valley. They designed it from scratch as I had told the builders to leave me to.sort. I would highly recommend Proud Gardens to carry out any garden / patio / grass works in the future. Our garden had become overgrown and the existing wooden decking was looking very tired and felt unstable in parts. The garden just did not meet our needs and was no longer an enjoyable space. We arranged for a number of companies to come out to quote for the job and found Jake to be very professional. Not being green fingered, it felt he really listened to how we wanted the garden to look and made various recommendations showing us the products they used. Initially we had thought about just replacing the decking with composite. It would have been nice to have been provided with a visual image/ plan of the garden with the quote however we bought into his vision and agreed to a total garden make over. Works was scheduled and the team were prompt arriving and worked hard to deliver the project for us. The garden was completely stripped of the old shrubs and grass which made the garden seem so much larger. A wide pathway and border paving around the garden was installed and new grass laid. The old wooden decking was completely removed and replaced with new composite subframe and millboard decking boards. A further, smaller decking area in the same materials was nstalled in another corner of the garden. The team did an amazing job and we are so pleased with the outcome. A Job well done! From the initial quote from Rhys to ironing out the exact details was great and came in cheaper than the other 3 quotes I had for the job. Proud Gardens fitted an artificial lawn at our property six years ago . Best decision we ever made ..... Right from the start, Jake and Reece were professional , from planning to completion . I was a ground worker by trade a few years back , and I was pleased to see the right processes being used in the construction of the garden .... The team at Proud Gardens recently completed a total transformation of our back garden and we are delighted with the results. They offered a full landscaping service including clearing and levelling the garden, adding sleepers to create a defined border and steps, plus laying artificial grass. I went with this company after reading all the reviews and talking on the phone with them and when they came to measure for the quote. Men worked hard all day, turned up on time and done an amazing job. what I really loved was how they took photos to send into the office stage by stage so I knew I was getting a proper professional job. Jake was totally frank with the possibilities and costs at the estimate stage of our project.When the time came to progress with our plans he informed us straight away of any amendments to the costs which we appreciated. The team arrived when the said they would and worked extremely hard at all times making sure they left things tidy at the end of the day. Lovely bunch of guys at first but check Companies House on company set up, we picked up flaws on the company set up. Company has been dissolved previously and apparently Jake has now set up under another name since October 2018 which didn t sound so promising and assuring when we spoke to him about it so we didn t carry on with them. Yes our fault for not checking first. But other things we did pick up in the process very untidy guys left sand all over drive decided to litter our back garden with their lunch wrappers and drinks. Didn t even ask to use existing sand we had left over in our back garden and helped themself which I found quite odd. Broke a drinking glass no apology- left on drive and then broke my new japanese acer plant on the day we decided for them to leave demanding money which clearly we were not going to pay all footage on our cctv! Very coincidental if you ask me! Tried to agree on a cash price but didn t actually finalise and reply to last email...the signs were there but silly me didn t pick up beforehand. Be very careful with this company do the checks first!

We chose Proud Gardens because they knew how to lay a lawn properly, recommended practical solutions to some issues with the project, they did not ask for payment up front (only a small deposit to book an installation date) and give you a 10 year product guarantee with the supplier Trulawn. Project started and completed on time. Excellent standard of work and courteous team. Would recommend.

We had been looking for a company to quote to complete all aspects of our garden project. We called proud gardens and within half an hour they were with us completing our quote as they had been in our area. They were very friendly, respectable, and professional. They answered all of our questions and gave us a sample to have a look at. The deposit is very reasonable based on the information they have to order your grass and get materials before completion. They made sure when they arrived everything was explained. They worked hard to get the job completed to a very high professional standard. Due to the nature of our garden they had to use a neighbours driveway at the back of our house, they made sure they left it exactly how they found it and we had nothing to do.
