First time customer and I am happy this work was completed prior to winter and another storm or microburst. Standard crew of 4 men, who lacked soft skills but I was happy they kept my home, bluestone patio and yard from damage as the work was being executed. I was very glad they used a leaf blower as well after the work was complete. Fast and efficient. Star rating due to some confusion and difference of expectation set for one of the trees to be trimmed. Short and curt communication with the crew; I felt the team lead had a hard time making direct eye contact and communicating. The others were pretty quiet and did not invite communication so it was a challenge when I wanted to inquire about the aforementioned tree. I felt like I was bothering them to ask questions a couple of times. The youngest member of the crew was the hardest worker and def stood out from the rest as friendly, positive and I could tell he had an amazing work ethic!! Iron Tree always does great work! Anthony is great about coming over to look over the job, and recently was happy to return a couple times for additional projects. The guys are courteous, timely, and always leave everything clean and neat. The Office staff is on top of all the details and communicates well. They are always my first call for tree work!

When doing tree work on your property, you cannot do anything better than Irontree. They have talented, courteous crews and state-of-the-art equipment, and they get the job done on time and on-budget. Iron Trees crew and equipment showed up in the time frame they suggested, 7:30-8:30 am. They got right to work, putting down pads to protect my lawn from their outriggers on the Boom Truck and blew the grass up again after removing the pads. Cleaned up after themselves. They made it look quick and easy because they were professionals. They were cordial and friendly in my conversations with them.

Iron Tree Service is an outstanding company. We hired them to remove a very large overgrown oak hanging dangerously over our home. The job was made even more difficult because it was on a narrow street, entangled in numerous wires and encroaching on neighboring properties. The crew was courteous, highly skilled and very professional. This company was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

I met with Tim two years ago, when they exhibited at our town Fall Fair. This year I asked them to quote, with other vendors, for removing over 20 trees, some quite deep into the woods. Iron Tree was not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. They arrived when scheduled (they were here for 2 days), left our yard in tip top shape when they were done. Both crews were extremely professional and courteous. Each team worked incredibly well together too. They never stopped. Tim came back on Day 2 to check in, and he too mucked in and helped with the tear down when the crane was finished the job. He said a truck would be back the following week to haul away the tree trunks. Well, they showed up the next morning! Talk about efficiency! I am very happy I chose to go with them and would recommend them to anyone who needs trees removed.

Highly recommend. Quote was slightly lower than two others. Iron Tree came on the day scheduled with a full crew. They took pains to avoid damage to my grass. They did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Stump grinder came two days later and completely removed the one stump. He also cleaned up and left the area neat. All were very professional.

I am beyond happy with the tree removal completed by Iron Tree. I live in Boxford and the trees close to my house were pretty dangerous. With their experience and skilled team they took out 9 trees in less than a half day. My lawn was not ruined, and they left no mess. The price was great as well. They have a forever customer here. What an impressive operation! Iron Tree is an expert professional at tree service. Tim is so knowledgeable and helped us make the right decision for what was best for our trees. The price was fair and communication was timely. We had a 90 year old Pine Tree (brown rot) cut down and our beautiful 200 year old Oak Tree trimmed away from the house. This was a large job and Iron Tree had both complete in 2.5 hours! Not to mention did it all without damaging anything and left no trace after cleanup.

They took out a couple of trees on our property in Somerville and trimmed several others.Totally professional, friendly, on-time, and reasonably priced. The Iron Tree crew did a magnificent job for us, safely removing an enormous decaying beech tree from our front yard that was close to our house and surrounded by utility and phone wires. The tree was 75 inches in diameter and 80 to 100 ft high. The front office coordinated the whole plan efficiently, the team showed up exactly when scheduled, and the crew performed a difficult and dangerous task seamlessly. They clearly know their business, and every member of the crew was professional, skilled, careful, and focused. The dexterity of the crane operator, moving massive chunks of tree up over the wires and safely back down to the street, was a source of wonderment for all the neighbors and passersby who stood mesmerized by his skill and care. The whole job was completed in under four hours, and the crew cleaned up thoroughly. Iron Trees bid was higher than the competition, but so worth it! We give them our highest recommendation and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Iron Tree Service was fantastic from the first call I made and spoke to Abby to Anthony coming out to review the work that needed to be done to getting an estimate in a very very reasonable time to Chris and his team working on my trees. We are very happy with the work, the guys were hard working, kind, knowledgeable, professional and caring. They made sure we were happy with their work and our backyard looked as if no one was there. The team I was assigned arrived on time with their leader, they huddled and set to work, I believe there were four or five men to this team they had eight or nine trees to take down and make disappear and also pruned the tree in the front yard to tip it away from the house all within 4 1/2 hours, all team members performed their job beautifully. But it was the guy in the bucket whom I was most impressed with .This guy really knew what it was doing. Everything went smoothly And I highly Recommend this company, they came in under others that I had Estimates for and I would definitely hire them again.

Highly recommend! Just used Iron Tree for the second time. I reached out on a Sunday, had a call back almost immediately and had someone at my house at 7 am the next morning to assess the damage. The crew was on site the next day and had the tree down within minutes. They cleaned the area so well you couldn t even tell they d been there! They even stopped mid job to let my neighbor out of his driveway to get to work. I hope my tree woes are over for awhile but if not, Iron Tree will be my first call.

I am very impressed with Iron Tree workers both inside and outside the office I watched from the beginning to the end of having a big tree taken off my property and part of my neighbors property The area was inspected first and as the workers cut the tree down they were reviewing the site as they went along. They cleaned up after themselves, I did not have to go out after they left to pick up after them. I will call them back when I am ready to take down the next tree. I would recommend them to anyone

Iron Tree removed four trees from my property that were overgrown or diseased. In addition I asked them to trim down a row of evergreens that had long overgrown and obstructed my water view. The Iron Tree team listened closely to my specifications and made sure they followed them to a T. They are pleasant, professional, smart (made good suggestions) and fairly priced. I have worked with at least three other tree companies and my experience with Iron Tree was by far the best. Definitely 5 stars.

I have owned my own business for 18 years and Iron tree was so professional they did no damage to my lawn they removed a maple tree that was 5 trees ans a ash tree. these trees could have destroyed my own roof and my neighbors. theses trees were on conservation land they had a tree arborist deal with conservation it was such a smooth process. They are not 5 stars they are 10 stars. they also charged less then there quote. then they cleaned everything and my yard was cleaner than when they came.

Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and professional. Job was able to be booked sooner than expected and once they started, they worked very efficiently. Huge props to the guys who were aware of the surroundings and made sure to walk around the newly planted grass too, much appreciated!

Our experience with Iron Tree Service was TOP SHELF, from beginning to end. I hired Iron Tree to remove 10large trees from an area behind my home that were in bad shape and dangerously leaning over my home. The logistics of getting the large equipment close enough to do the work were very tricky with a yard containing septic tanks, and close proximity to buildings. Iron Tree walked me through all the obstacles and what precautions they would do to protect my property. I am happy to say all ten trees were removed and not one scratch or dimple was made to my yard or buildings. I was treated very courteously and will have then do any and all future tree work I may need.

On the day of the storm we called them and Dennis showed up within the hour during the storm. The next day we received a call from Iron Tree to schedule the removal the next day, Saturday. Update: 01/22/24 10:28 AM - I received a phone call from a representative of Iron Tree who told me that the owner would like me to call him before the sidewalk repair. Isnt this supposed to work the other way around? Why is a third party involved if the owner wants to talk to me? If you want to speak to me bad enough, call me. I told him I would not call the owner (thats the owners job) and simply to fix the damage - Im done. Dropped review to one star for horrible customer service. On July 5th, 2023 I had Iron Tree remove several trees from my property. The work was done professionally and on time. However, in setting up for the tree work, their truck absolutely destroyed my sidewalk. I called their office and was set up with a date for a supervisor to come survey the damage. Unfortunately I forgot the gentleman s name, but he admitted fault and said the crew should ve put boards down and he would interface with the town about whether Iron Tree could repair the damage themselves or whether the town would do it and Iron Tree would reimburse them. That was last summer. Since then not a word. It s still in pieces. It s now January. I also had Iron Tree remove several stumps. While the work was done well, there was no option to remove the grindings and I was left with a huge messy pile to deal with. I had previous work done by Iron Tree and ran into issues there as well. The owner personally contacted me and made things right, much to his credit. In short, the owner cares very much and it shows, his employees not so much. As this is the FOURTH issue I ve had with Iron Tree (previous work, sidewalk damage, damage not repaired as promised, leaving a huge mess) I will advise everyone I know to stay away. Dealing with this company is like pulling teeth. Do your homework before you choose them, as I will never recommend them to a single soul.

I was very pleased with Iron Tree Services work. They took a delicate job, removing a few dying oaks that were hanging above our retaining wall and over our house with precision and a clear level of expertise. In addition, they were thorough with their removal and clean up, as if they were never here. I would highly recommend them and use them in the future!

On the day of service, the entire team arrived on-time and ready to get our trees down. We had 10 enormous pine trees removed. Prompt arrival and excellent communication for starters. The crew is really organized, efficient, confident and skilled in the safe use of their equipment (some of which is big and scary!) They had a large and ungainly tree lowered down in pieces, and chipped up in record time. Iron Tree did a great job taking down a massive Linden tree in our driveway. They were careful and didnt do any damage while working in a very tight spot. Sounds like faint praise, but they were amazingly skilled in what they did. When they left they cleaned up after themselves, and all that was left was a tree stump. Scheduling was also very good - when we first hired them they gave us a date about 2 months in the future. They then actually hit the date that they had promised us within a day or two.

July 2023 - We had 18 large trees cut and removed from our property. The pricing was very reasonable and the workmanship was outstanding. The team cut, chipped and raked/swept as they went from tree to tree and they left the property spotless. The precision with how the trees were cut, lifted and removed was a site to be seen. Crazy rain storm came out of nowhere. My husband and I watched thru the window as a huge tree limb came crashing down in my neighbors yard just as several large limbs fell from our maple. Our street was blocked with tree debris. Sirens everywhere. I called Iron Tree. Tim returned my call the same day. Came out the next morning to assess the damage for clean up. He had a crew come out that same day and they cut down broken limbs, put all debris in the chipper, raked and used the leaf blower. So grateful for the fast and thorough response. Once Iron Tree was done you would never know there had been any storm damage.

I am pleased to write a glowing review for Iron Tree Service. During a recent storm we had a huge tree come down right across our driveway making it impassable! I called this company for help. I could not have more pleased with my results. Within 30 minutes Dennis was out to my home. I was very happy when he said he would be able to get a crew out right away to clean things up! In less than 30 minutes the equipment was here. In torrential downpours,the men started cleaning up my gigantic mess. I am still in disbelief how smoothly everything went. We were extremely pleased with the service Iron Tree gave us recently. They came to remove a 90-foot pine tree at the back of our property. The four-men crew were very professional, courteous and helpful. They were on time and the job was completed with complete efficiency. A knowledgeable arborist came to our property and helped us understand our options. He followed up with a reasonable estimate. We accepted the proposal and the work was completed on time. I hired Iron Tree Service to prune all trees in my front yard (I have several) by raising up the canopies 360° to 20; to remove all dead, leaning and small trees growing below larger trees that were being suffocated out. They arrived right on time, did the work I hired them to do, cleaned up when finished, and had me come out and review to see if theyd missed anything. All in all it was a terrific experience, they did excellent work, the price was fair, and Ill be hiring them again!

Theyre the professionals. The only difference in our yard before vs after is that the trees are gone, with no messes left around and no damage to the lawn from using heavy equipment. They know what theyre doing, and the price is reasonable. The only downside of a great service is that theyre usually booked for a couple weeks, but the its worth the wait.

Recently, Iron Tree did stump grinding, land clearing, wood chip landscaping, and tree pruning on our property. I immediately was connected with Dennis from Iron Tree, who promptly visited our home and walked us through our options. Ultimately, we decided to remove all the trees around our home, and Dennis crew made it out quickly to remove the debris from my roof while also removing all the trees. It all was done in about a week (and this was around Christmas!). The communication from Dennis throughout was impressive. If you want it done right, call Iron Tree. We have hired Iron Tree twice for service and once again I was impressed by the service/skill/professionalism. In our most recent experience, we hired IronTree to take down a large oak and several precariously leaning pines near our house. I am not sure I would trust such a job to some of the smaller bidders out there who may not be licensed/bonded or have the specialty equipment and skills needed to deal with tricky trees. We also appreciated that Iron Tree completed the job in a timely manner, cleaned up during / after, and was generally fun to watch. Also the remote controlled stump grinding equipment is just really cool to watch.

From start to finish, Iron Tree was great! They were quick to assess the job, provide an estimate (<1hr after viewing the job), and schedule the work. They were able to use their large crane to reach a tree at the back of our property without having to bring equipment on our lawn or blocking neighbors - not an easy task. The arborists worked quickly and safely and did a great job cleaning up all debris from 2 large trees. I would definitely hire them again.

Used Iron Tree to remove several large pines via crane. They were amazing. They staged the crane in my yard to remove the trees. They were fast, efficient and dare I say surgical with removal. Two gentlemen arrived on time, carried in and set down 3/4 inch plywood to protect flagstone which remained in place, remotely controlled the stump grinder into place and went about the work of grinding, periodically carrying out and dumping many, many barrels of chips and sawdust into truck. They were cordial, efficient and professional and went the extra mile to take down and restore a portion of a property boundary fence, helping us to thoroughly clean debris and remove obstructions in the ground, etc.. We were completely satisfied and recommend Iron Tree Service for all they do.

Iron Tree was timely and did a good job overall. There was a mistake made where they forgot to take an already downed tree but they were quick to remedy the situation and make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend their service if you are looking for tree removal.

They came today to remove 3 big trees, and they did a great job even though it was tight to do the job.

We had four estimates and ended up deciding on Iron Tree based on time frame(length of job, how soon) and price. We had 40+ trees removed, they did it all in a day and a half. We ended up wanting more so we had them come back not long after to take an additional 15 down. When they came back the second time there was some spill from one of their trucks in our driveway which I contacted them about. They were extremely professional through this and willing to fix it however that entailed. They just finished a day and a half of stump removal for the trees took down. I cant recommend them enough from their professionalism, cleanliness, communication, and so much more. They will beat any price out there and their quality of work will back that all up. 5 stars and more! thank you to you all. I am sure you will hear from us again :)

Iron Tree removed three very large trees from our property. We are incredibly impressed with their work, and completely amazed with the strength, endurance, precision, and acrobatics involved with removing our enormous trees. I ve heard from several neighbors too about the quality of their work too, and the show the team put on lifting the branches high into the sky. Wow! And the level of clean up also was remarkable; except for the wide open spaces, it s almost like they were never here. They come out for an estimate promptly, and scheduled the work quickly as well. I normally don t write reviews, but Iron Tree was so good, I wanted to. The iron tree team was very professional and timely. They were very pleasant to work with and efficient. They really know what they re doing. Our tree needed a lot of special and large equipment to remove it, including a huge crane. It also requires someone to go up almost 70 feet in the air attached to the crane. They did it with very good skill.

Mike sent me the quote within 24 hours and after I signed it scheduled the work. On the actual day of tree cutting work, the giant green crane showed up on time and Mike s crew completed the work as scheduled. Super professional with their huge crane managed to pull out 13 big trees and process them in only 3 hours. No loud chain saws, just occasional grinding of stems. Make sure to ask them to include clean up after stump removal, since that s extra $. Price was affordable considering the amount of work.

Iron Tree cut a few trees and trimmed a bunch, in a difficult to access part of the yard. They are the real pros. I was impressed at what they can do, between their skills and equipment.

We had 7 white pines over 80 feet tall wedged into a tight spot on our property and Iron Tree was able to very carefully and expertly remove them with extreme precision. I had a very pleasant experience with IronTree. I have dealt with many services over the past six months and have been incredibly disappointed in all of them. At IronTree my initial call was returned in a prompt manner. The man who gave me the estimate about pruning my trees showed up when he said he would. He emailed me the same day and verified the quote and when they could perform the service. A few days before the service was performed they reminded me of the date and time. The workers arrived at the expected time and within 5 hours had removed and carried away this large 100 year old dead tree.. The following week another crew came and ground the stump into small particles which were disposed of.

They did a great job the day of - showing up on time and working very quickly and cleaning everything up before they left. Iron Tree did an excellent job removing 2 dead trees from our property. What pleased me most was the up front conversation and communication before the day of our service. A manager came out to assess the problem, give an estimate and schedule us. Then, we got automated updates on the status of our appointment so that we knew if there would be rescheduling because of weather. That day, the crew was prompt and FAST and cleaned up well behind them. I hope we dont have more dead trees but would use Iron Tree for sure if we did.

Anthony Lauria came out and did an estimate and gave me excellent advice about tree and shrub trimming in my yard. It was a difficult job because the trees belong to my neighbor and their branches grow over my roof. There is also a Japanese maple which needed shaping and pruning. Its a beautiful tree when trimmed correctly. Today Jack Montgomery and his crew came out with their amazing equipment and did the job absolutely perfectly. No one else could have done a better job reaching across my roof and trimming the trees on the property line and also shaping the Japanese maple properly. They were efficient, highly skilled, personable, professional, and meticulous in their cleanup. Their work was above and beyond and I am recommending them to my friends in Haverhill and am having them back every year to keep my yard groomed. Jack and his crew deserve the highest praise for combining technology and artistry in their work.

I contacted Iron Tree about taking down several large Oak trees that were behind and close to my house. They were very responsive. Tim came out and assessed the trees. He spent time explaining why they should be removed and were in danger of possibly falling on my house. This was important as they were in a wetlands zone so we had to get approval from the local Conservation Commission. Tim even did the letter to the CC explaining why they had to come down. The crew showed up as scheduled. They had to use a crane to hoist the cut sections over the house. They were very professional and organized. They cleaned up everything when they left. Their price was right in line with the other estimates that I got. I would certainly recommend them and call them first if I need further trees taken down.

Great experience. Tim came out and evaluated my downed trees after a storm, and was upfront and honest about surrounding trees and which other trees might need to be removed. Tim was easy to work with, and offered a very competitive price. The job was completed on time, and although there was some lawn damage (couldnt pick the tree from the street) Tim and Iron Tree went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed. Tim came by on a Saturday, after renting a dump truck, and filled in the damaged spots of my lawn with loam and grass seed. I cannot recommend these guys enough, and I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family in need of Tree Service. Thanks again Iron Tree!

They are disruptive and disrespectful of town noise laws, running their chainsaws and machines before allowed. Rude and messy, do not recommend.

If you ever want a tree company to start running a chainsaw outside your neighbors window at 7 am you should hire Iron Tree. Not only will they annoy your entire neighborhood but they will offer no assistance in remedying the situation beyond saying that is simply when their crews start. They do not abide by local noise ordinances and do not think laws that affect a community apply to them. You should be ashamed Iron Tree, coming into a community without regard for anyone beyond your client. That is no way to run a business.

I had tree service done today. I was so pleased that I m writing this review right after they left! The crew was AMAZING! They all communicated with each other in a flawless manner, the person In the trees was skillful and quite fun to watch. The ground crew had the trees chipped in a matter of minutes. The gentleman operating the crane was on point with his movements and the gentleman cutting the large tree trunks appeared to be able to complete it with his eyes closed (not literally of course). I had FOUR trees removed, over and intertwined in power lines, with a shed, neighboring yard and small trees to make it difficult and they did it with ease. I can t say enough about how satisfied and happy I am with the service. They left my property cleaner than they found it and all the trees were cut as low to the ground as possible. Thank you, thank you for everything. How and best part the price was very competitive AND was done before lunch!!!

I used them because they are associated with Maestranzi, whom I have used for 20 years, and who have world class customer service.
