Dealt with the same lawn company for almost 5 years. Yard started showing weeds, ant hills, and dollar spots...time for a change. Russel came out and treated our yard for ant hills and getting the yard back on track. The update is my yard has never been greener...I have grass now growing strong in places it has never really grown. These guys know what they are doing. Well worth the switch.

I have been using Solid Green for many years now. The condition of my yard prior to using them was basically weeds and bare spots. When I first started using them I didnt expect a whole lot in the first year due to the terrible condition of my yard. After the end of the first year, 98% of the weeds were gone and the grass really started filling in the bare spots. I was quite impressed. Ive been using them ever since and have recommended them to friends and neighbors as well. Its not too late to save your yard! I have used other companies prior to finding out about Solid Green and the results were not near what I received with Solid Green Lawn and Landscape. The latest service was fertilizer and Army Worm insecticide, and as usual, I dont have to think about anything, just enjoy my yard. The best was the other day, my Granddaughter said she likes to walk barefoot in the yard, because the grass is so fluffy.

I unfortunately have to update my review. Solid Green was not clear on services to be rendered upon initial sign up. Maybe naïve on my part since I had not been provided with a lawn service before, but I was told I would sign up for 4 weed services since we were in a rental so we had a planned service with a discrete end at the end of our contract for the residence. Solid Green continued to provide service and add charges to the account and has reached out for payment. I was told what I was described upon sign up is not a description of service they offer. They then proceeded to say I should have known because there is a note on every invoice saying it is automatic renewal--this is incorrect, it does not show up on online invoices which I was reviewing. Hopefully this miscommunication was an error during initial sign up, but I do not know if it was purposefully misleading to get additional clients. I asked if the additional charges could be waived due to the miscommunication upon sign up, and was threatened with collections, so I gave into bullying and paid. I guess I am disappointed overall, but as a recommendation for anyone signing up for Solid Green, I would record the call and read the fine print on the invoices (I never signed up for for a subscription based service) to make sure you know what you have actually agreed to because it may be different than what you are told you are agreeing to.

When I tell you I have tried so many and all these companies have not done what solid green lawn and landscaping have done in one treatment ! I am beyond happy with the results . My lawn was filled with weeds and with one treatment my grass looks amazing!!!

Last season Solid green used a liquid aeration along with a turf builder for the first time. My yard has not look this good in the 25 years i lived here. I also had a problem with a poa weed. After talking to Russells wife about the problem workers came out and took care of the weeds the very next day.This is best lawn service i have had and i have had many.

After having my lawn infected with brown patch disease, TruGreen was called and came out and said they needed to kill all grass and start over. I agreed. Then the grass came up and got infected again and Trugreen said they would treat it and whatever they did killed my lawn again. After hiring Solid Green Ive never had anything but a lush beautiful lawn. Kudos to Russell and his team. I wont use anyone else? You shouldnt either.

We started using Solid Green about 2 years ago after suffering some fungus damage to our Zoysia . It was bad enough that we were wondering if we were going to have to re-sod part of the yard. Happy to say that after starting treatments with Solid Green the front yard looks as good as when it was first installed. The dead spots have filled in, the grass is very healthy and growing into shadier spots where it was struggling before, and it s virtually weed free year round.

They are good but they keep raising their prices. Some of us living in the subdivision are considering going for another cheaper company. Saying you have not increased for the past 10years shows an unbelievable statement. It was increased last year and also increased this year. Thats within 1year.

Never called before they came as promised so I could mark my sprinkler heads in my yard. Then aerated my lawn and busted 2 sprinkler heads from the machine hitting them. Never even mentioned they were hit. I then had to hire another company to com out and fix them. Costed me more money and had to have them replaced.

Love the service! My grass always looks good when I do my part and water it. My first encounter with solid green was when I had an issue with one of my sprinklers. The fixed it and it never looked like they had dug the grass up. The price is a very fair price.

I cant thank Solid Green enough. Last fall (2022) we sodded our backyard with Zoysia grass. Beautiful. Not so much in the spring. In March of this year (2023), a jungle of weeds that I have never seen before appeared, and I literally could not see the grass at all. Our landscaper thought the yard was ruined and would need to be re-sodded. We called Russ at Solid Green, and 9 months later, not a weed in the yard and beautiful backyard. Thank You Solid Green.

Solid Green was recommended by a friend. Our church used a company that was quite expensive so we decided to try Solid Green. Russel came and walked us through all the treatments they would provide. We began using Solid Green at Sparrow Grove Manor about a year ago. The team has been great to deal with and Russell has spent additional time helping to bring our cool weather grass front yard back to life with aerating and overseeding. Were thankful for their service and extra attention!

I wish I was sharing the same positive review that many others seemed to have. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with my turf health after approx 6 months of service. Overall I wish there was more consultation and better communication. Either way my experience led me to a find company that took more time explaining the process of deriving a healthy lawn and when to expect positive results.

Without a doubt I was skeptical to hire another company to take care of my beautiful front and back lawn...as a very well known national company killed my grass twice... Once by accident and the second time intentionally to kill a fungus and then regrow the grass.... As they said trust me, your grass will be good as new. Well as soon as the grass regrew so did the fungus again. I couldnt understand why my neighbor s yard was so green and plush looking and mine which was always great.. Just wansnt any longer. I started the program a little late in the season last year, but towards the end of the summer, my lawn was visibly better than at the start. Id like to commend and recommend Russell Skippers Solid Green Lawn and Landscape Service! Beginning with a badly eroded slope behind my house, Russell transformed it into a beautiful patio connected to four terraces that now drop gently to the bottom of the slope. Russell listened carefully to my vision and plan for the project and gave me relevant professional feedback. He also kept me up-to-date on the projects time table. As you can see in the attached photos, the workmanship was superior. Russell is a quality individual doing quality work. Give him a call!

What an amazing difference Solid Ground has made in resurrecting my lawn!! After a cycle of several seasons, bouncing back and forth from personal DYI yard care, to hiring Lawn Services contractors whos work rarely exceeded my own - I finally threw in the towel.
