Rachel and her crew are professional, their prices are reasonable and their landscaping service is very good. We were having issues finding a reliable landscaping company. Rachel came to the rescue. I would definitely recommend this company to other families.

I have been working with Rachel for a few years now. I have found her to be an extremely professional, personable and honest collaborator. She has gone out of her way in the last couple of years to meet my family's needs. I cannot recommend her and her workers enough! Prices are reasonable, the work is always done very well and, most importantly, Rachel knows how to build and maintain trust. Excellent service every step of the way!

I hired them last year. They are ok.. In and out in about 10-15 mins but the lawn was cut. They leave the gate open constantly and I have a dog so that's not cool. I did NOT hire them to come back this year however they showed up and insisted I called.. I have NOT called. Then they showed up yesterday and the guy was harassing my elderly parents telling them that I called to have my lawn cut. ONCE AGAIN I DID NOT CALL!!!! So my dad told him that we don't need their services this year and the guy told my dad 'Good I didn't want to cut your lawn anyway.' So basically they are a bunch of punks that like to harass elderly people. If they show up again we will call the police.

My fiance and I hired Jay's Lawn and Landscape Service for some work on our yard while we were on vacation - two tree removals, some shrub removals, weeding our garden beds, putting down fabric, and mulching over it all. While their work wasn't altogether terrible, it was unsatisfactory in a handful of ways. First, the fabric they put down on the garden beds is as thin as tissue paper; weeds were breaking through within days of our return from vacation, and a lot of the fabric is shredded now. What's more, in regard to the fabric, it was not laid in such way that it covers the area of each bed sufficiently, and in some places there is no new fabric at all. There were still a lot of weeds when we returned, as well, which I took care of myself. The mulch was applied rather thinly to the beds, too, which has created gaps where it is just exposed fabric. The tree removals were fine (we opted for no stump removal, and they did the best they could under the circumstances, with one tree being beside a fence and the other growing at an awkward angle). They also claimed they worked the yard for three days; what they did not realize, however, is that we returned home from our vacation before lunch on the third day and they were not here working. Overall, as I have stated, we are not completely dissatisfied with their work, though much of the work did seem hasty and half-hearted. They seemed to have cut corners to keep costs down (I understand the need for a business to turn a profit, but not at the cost of the customer). They did what the contract stated they would do, just with poor labor and inferior materials. My fiance did contact the business immediately when we returned to point out the things with which we were not happy, but the woman with whom she spoke (Rachel, I believe) simply gave excuse after excuse as to why they should not have to do any further work on our yard. So I would actually give Jay's Lawn and Landscape Service two-and-a-half stars if that were an option here, but no more than that.
