I'll give them a one star for responding to my request for a quote on a Memorial Day weekend. I am a busy professional, working over 70 hours a week. Need someone to take good care of a rather big yard. Clayton just does not seem to understand I am no homemaker sitting around to meet him at his convenience. Guess they are too busy for new customer.
Had a nightmare of over grown beds and rough finished yards after a pool installation. Donny and his team worked diligently and respectfully of the property and neighbors to get the yard looking like the oasis we wanted. His experience also noticed a possible flood concern and rectified the issue appropriately. He even got grass to grow where no one thought it would, a real miracle with a green thumb.
We have been using D3 for our lawn for the past two years. Donny and his crew are highly professional and efficient. We are totally satisfied with the excellent service they provided. Highly recommend!
**UPDATE** We've just updated the review from four to five stars. This is because Donny and his crew stopped by about a month after the work was completed to help identify poison ivy (after I got covered in it). He also said he'd send one of their guys who's immune to it (!) to come by and remove the poison ivy, which we look forward to and appreciate. We chose D3 after reading incredible reviews, and overall, they did not disappoint. It took awhile to get things scheduled and once scheduled, there were factors that kept pushing the work, so it was about six weeks before we got our work completed. The communication was very good at times and then not as good other times. That said, every crew member was professional, polite, and hardworking. We moved into a house that hadn't had the grounds maintained in who knows how long. Donny and his crew did a huge cleanup, removed some bushes, sprayed the weeds with a non-chemical solution, and mulched. The work looks so so good. (Now we just have to stay on top of the weeds!) While we hope to do a lot of yard work ourselves moving forward, we plan to use D3 in the future.
Donny and his entire D3 team were extraordinarily helpful and patient with us during the replanting of our flower beds. He and his foreman, Brendan, offered contemporary, creative design suggestions that pushed us beyond what we would normally consider for ourselves to produce a wonderful product that we will surely enjoy for years to come. He charges a fair price to boot. Excellent work at a fair price--what more can you ask for?
This couldn't have went better. I requested, but did not insist, on a weekend service appointment. The owner treated that with high regard. He rescheduled jobs from the week that were pushed back due to rain and accommodated my request. He met me at Palmer nursery a few weeks beforehand, and he helped provide some very good advice on what to install on the property. I informed him I had a budget to work within, he used surgical precision to build out the job's labor hours and materials that fit the budget. (In the end, the job came in under budget, which was outstanding!!) His crew showed up on time, and their leader, Ryan, assessed the job site. He quickly took my instructions and assigned work to the 5 man crew. Shortly after, the owner showed up. We quickly went over the work being done since Ryan had a handle on the operation. He was very polite in taking the time to help me with a new edger I purchased. He did not have to do that, but it's those little things that always add up for a customer and keep them returning. The crew was very efficient in ripping out many old bushes, shrubs, and plants and replacing them with an abundance of very nice black mulch, plants that the owner helped and advised on from the trip to the nursery, and they really manicured the grounds very well. They installed many large, very nice boulders along the beds of the front of the house. This was an excellent touch. I am very pleased with the work of D3, and I will not hesitate to call on them again. (I'll even ask that Ryan be on site, because he was a great crew leader). Their whole team was very efficient and also friendly to talk to. I'm not shy to complain, but in this case, I really have none. I'll be calling on them again for in the fall for lawn aeration, and I'll definitely use them again for my landscaping needs. I think that's as much of an endorsement as customer can give. No other calls are needed when I have D3 available.
My husband and I are very satisfied with not only work done on our yard but the professionalism and prompt communication. I am the type of person who has limited availability and normally cannot take calls during the day. I was very pleased that not only was the work done (correctly) without me being there but that I could contact Donny though text messages throughout the day. The pricing was very reasonable and everything was done well under our budget. Even though it was cheaper than I expected that did not change the quality of work. I will use D3 if needed in the future and will tell my friends and colleagues.
Donny came out promptly and provided an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and they actually called to come early the following week. The work was done in one day which was impressive. The crew that came was polite and professional and made sure I was satisfied with the work before they left. We will definitely have them back in the spring. Thanks D3!

Thank you D3 Lawn Care! Our previous snow service company left town with no notice. Our parking lot had snow from that first 2 foot storm. We called a few companies off Google and not one person returned our calls. Luckily we called D3 next. They actually answered and were out to look at our property in only a hour or so. And it was bad shape. They stuck around for my return call and was able to plow my lot. They even took the overflowing garbage from the dumpster that was trapped in the snow. They went of and beyond! Last year one of our old and dear friends became afflicted with a debilitating disease. She was broad sided by this illness and was no longer capable of maintaining her property and desperately needed help. My wife and I wanted to help her some how but the pandemic was an issue and we dont live close by. We decided to pay for her lawn to be cut for the season . I knew Donnys company s reputation and also knew Donny and his family personally. I knew he would be the right choice and didnt even bother calling other laws maintenance companies. Donny handled the situation personally, bending over backwards to take care of her property and treated us very reasonably on the cost, knowing the situation and that we wanted to be able to afford to help our friend. He and his crew went above and beyond what theg had to do. We had only asked them to do the minimum to keep our friend from getting in trouble wigh thd townshio for her lawn getting to high. Our friend called us telling us that Donnys company did an outstanding job, trimmed and cut it as though it was his own property, she was ecstatic and so thankful. Donny didnt havd to do all that, we werent paying him to. He did that because thats who he is and how he runs his company, Old School and believes in only doing things one way, the right way. Plus he believes in helping others who are in desperate need by no fault of their own. As I said I know gge family and I know thats how he was raised. Donny went well beyond what he needed to do and wanted tk help us help our friend. She was extremely pleased with the quality of the job his crew did and as I said, we didnt pay him enough to do all they did. He simply helped us help her and only knows how to do things one way, the right way. I cant recommend Donnys company enough. He and his crew saved the day for our friend in a time of great desperation and emergency. I cant thank him and his crew enough. I wanted to give him this reference because of all he did for our friend, way beyond what he was paid to do. Thats the kind of human being Donny is and how he runs his company. Love the work they do
They trimmed trees, edged and mulched for us. They even put weed killer down on the mulch. Everything was left clean. We are extremely pleased with the results. I recommend using this company for your lawn service needs.
Very professional work
I called D3 after another company was a No-show. Let me tell you, not only did they come out same day to do the estimate, they were at my home early the next morning and did an amazing job!! My grass was up to my knees, 6ft tall weeds everywhere....yes I said 6 FEET!.....2 over grown bushes and just a mess!! They cleaned it all up to be prepped for some well needed landscaping. I am more than happy with the work, considering my horrible experience with previous local companies. I will def be calling Donny again for future up keep. Thank you so much!
Pretty bad storm yesterday. Good 12 inches of snow and taller by curb after plow came through. D3 Lawn Care was at my home this morning well before daybreak which is what we needed for family member to get to work. They were quiet, quick and did a professional job at clearing the snow.
We hired D3 Lawn Care to help us revive a diseased (dead) lawn. They were professional, knowledgeable and took pride in their work. We needed to have the lawn aerated, over-seeded, and fertilized to bring it back to life. D3 was able to complete all of the work and at much higher quality than one of the National lawn fertilizer companies we had previously used. Our lawn is now looking great; we look forward to working with D3 Lawn Care in the future!!!
We dont use them regularly, as I usually mow myself, however this time of the year gets crazy and I often rely on them to lend a hand. They are always quick to respond, and do a fantastic job every time. I highly recommend them!

Edit: After writing my last review I received a call from the owner. It seems as though he had a foreman that lacked integrity and was flat out lieing about completing jobs week by week. D3 Lawncare made everything right. As they had a reputation to recover, they subcontracted my lawn to another company and refunded my money. The owner was very sincere and it was clear he wanted to make everything right. You cant go wrong with a business that works so hard to make everything perfect after they have owned their mistake.

I texted D3 at 7:30 a.m. and their crew came out to do my driveway, front walk, front sidewalk, and a very long side sidewalk. The plows had pushed a great weight of snow and ice onto my sidewalk - there was no way I could have done it alone. However, its my responsibility to have the walks cleared within 24 hours. D3 to the rescue. They had to use a commercial Bobcat to move the heavy boulders...but still only charged me $75.00 for their nearly 2 hours of work. Id recommend them anytime. Also for yardwork in the Spring!
I called D3 Lawn Care Service to bail me and my ailing neighbor out of this Noreaster we were expecting to hit on Thursday and Friday. They had their own equipment, both plows and a new CAT snow blower, and came out twice to each of the houses, as we ended with more than 18 inches total! They were very professional, and neat. They even cleaned off my car in the drive! I am extremely happy with their service, and would recommend them to anyone needing this service. I will also be using their lawn care service this spring. Could not be more pleased with the handling of this situation.
