Richard Landscaping llc in Bethesda

I do not recommend Richard landscaping after my partner s unprofessional experience with them trying to set-up lawn maintenance. We are new to the area and unfortunately got referred to them by a different company. The experience was less than ideal to say the least and miscommunication was a big part of that. Don t recommend.

Richard and crew have been very helpful with our yardwork. They are on time, responsive and friendly. We have been having good experiences and will recommend them to our neighbors.

Richard. Landscaping did an amazing spring cleanup in our yard - trimming back all the overgrowth and getting all weeds removed. Price was much more reasonable than other services, and they showed up right on time and did a great job. Highly recommended.

Richard landscaped our house after it was built and did a beautiful job. Since then he and his crew have come 2 or 3 times a year, and done everything from basic maintenance, leaves etc. to pruning exotic bushes and trees to creating spectacular rock gardens and tranquil living spaces. Quite honestly it s not easy to find landscapers who do an honest days work for a honest wage. I m not saying that they are cheap ( though their prices are very competitive). I m saying that everyone he hires works hard and actually knows what they are doing. His guys know the difference between a weed and a perennial. They know how to prune a delicate hedgerow. There know how to properly takes care of your property. Ask the risk of repeating myself, Richard and his wife Elizabeth are honest hardworking people. Richard was recommended to us for installing a stone path walkway and retaining wall on the side of our house. It was very easy to schedule an on-site visit to discuss options and recommendations. He even recommended installation of a plant bed with Hydrangeas and a drainage system to help with flooding in particular areas. A quote and contract was sent quickly and the project started as scheduled and was finished as stated. The walkway and plant bed turned out to be even better than expected. We would highly recommend for future projects.

Weve been customers of Richard Landscaping for over 10 years at both our previous and current homes. We have an annual maintenance contract that we are quite happy with. We had Richard redesign the backyard at our previous home, which was overgrown with bamboo when we moved in. They did a fantastic job, including the construction of small retaining walls faced with natural stone (see pictures). Richard always has a smile on his face and easily gets enthusiastic about your project. We recommended them to several friends and colleagues, that also seemed happy with how their projects turned out. Many people in Garrett Park seem to be using them, I see their trucks all the time when walking my kids to school.
