I have had a great experience with services provided by Dream Greener Lawn and Landscape. Two years ago my lawn was completely insect damaged. After much research, I contacted Dream Greener and am very pleased. Met with a representative and explained my need. Brian was extremely knowledgeable about products used, their line of services, and assured me that they could help. Management, staff and on job team members have always been respectful in listening and offering suggestions, courteous, cooperative and very efficient in completing the work. Last Fall I took a specimen of an invasive plant thats growing in my neighbors yard and threatening to invade my yard to Dream Greener Lawn & Landscape to see if they could identify it and suggest a way to kill it. I must admit that I was a little intimidated by their large building and beautiful grounds. I thought that being a large company like that they might not be interested in helping me since I wasnt signing up for any services at that time. Boy was I wrong. I met with Shawn & had some idea of what the plant was but wanted to ensure that I had the correct information, so the next day he had Sherry inspect it. She clarified exactly what type of invasive species it was, and Shawn emailed specific instructions to me on how to treat/kill it. This was all without me even asking them for any estimate to do any type of work for me. That house next door is for sale and as soon as its sold, Ill be sure to share the information with the new owners & recommend that they have Dream Greener come out to do treatments to kill the weeds before they take over the entire yard. This Spring I contracted them to do weed treatments on my lawn. Sherry came out to see my yard. Regular weeds had really taken over & I thought it might cost a lot to get my grass back into shape. But Sherry didnt oversell me. She said all it needed was their lawn treatment services over the course of Spring, Summer & Fall and that program was very reasonably priced. So far, Ive had two treatments & my lawn is already looking a lot better. Eddie who does the treatments is a great guy who has been with the company for years and he surprised me by stopping over to my home to answer a question I had emailed to Sherry. Brian Baur and the folks at Dream Greener were responsive and very professional. I originally hired Dream Greener to do some landscaping on the back part of my property. Brian laid out a nice plan and we agreed to go forward. Prior to the start date, I contacted Brian about changing the original plans and asked him if a retaining wall could be installed instead. Brian provided me with the necessary information with respect to stone type and color and we were able to move forward with the plans for the wall. The finished wall (see photo) exceeded all of my expectations. The workmanship put into the wall is top notch. I have received many compliments from my neighbors on the new wall and accompanying landscaping. Dream Greener is the only landscaping company I will use for any future projects. My apologies to the Dream Greener team for the lateness of my review as they finished the project in late September 2022.

I don t normally do this but I feel that I had to because of how pleased my wife and I are with this business. Since I have gotten older I can no longer mow the hillside in my front yard and so I contacted Dream Greener to mow this for us and I am very pleased with the work that they do. So after years of my wife and I trying to piece meal our back walkway I decided to have a professional come and redo it. Brian came and gave me his professional opinion on how we could go about it. He drew up a landscape plan and we decided to add a small patio as well as a wall planting bed as my wife loves to plant flowers. We agreed on price and lo and behold they came when they said they would and despite a thunderstorm they removed our old walkway (which was not easy) and measured and installed our new walk and patio and planting bed. So now we are enjoying the work they did. And they completed in the time that Brian promised. We were so pleased that when my brother wanted to replace his wall beside his driveway I recommended Dream Greener and he is getting a new wall this July as well as some landscaping. Dream Greener sprayed my lawn when they were supposed to spray my neighbors lawn. I am vehemently against the use of chemicals. I have dogs who walk through and lay on the grass and had to keep them off the grass while I waited for the chemicals to hopefully dissipate. When I called them about it they offered nothing in the form of compensation. The representative who called me back sounded either confused or like she was hiding something. She wouldnt give me any information. I would not trust a company that pays so little attention to detail, but then again I dont want their poison on my lawn anyway. EDIT: Dream Greener did reach back out to me with a very sincere apology. As occasionally happens with a business the right people did not hear the message from the consumer. I am very thankful that they reached out with information about what was sprayed on the lawn as well as with various methods to ensure that it doesnt happen again. After my initial contact via the Dream Greener website and a prompt response from their office, Brian (Senior Account Manager) was out in no time to walk my property and discuss my wants and needs. Brian provided advice as to what could be trimmed/ saved and what should be replaced. He also offered advice on services not contracted for at this time like replacing the drainage system in my yard. They sent me a quote for mowing from April to September. The issue was its June. So they tried to get an extra $750 assuming I wouldn t read the quote. Proceed with caution.

I contacted Dream Greener back in May to get a quote for my home in Bethel Park. Jon had sent over a proposal for the quarterly treatments, yearly aeriation, and lime treatment. I responded to the email and asked to take the aeriation and lime out. Jon informed me to just uncheck the boxes and sign the agreement and we would be all set. Last night I got home from work and the aeriation was done and so was the lime. This morning I reached out to Jon and he did admit that ever once in awhile the system they use for invoices will have a glitch and this seems to be the case. Jon said that he would refund my money for the aeriation and make sure they dont do the lime and aeriation again next year. THIS is what a good business looks like. I highly recommend this company. Jon was recommended to me by my neighbor who uses Dream Greener also and I couldnt be happier with how the corrected a wrong. Thank you so much Jon!

Beautiful work, done so quickly!

The work they did on my retaining wall was great. They also mulched a few of my flower beds, moved a clematis vine and removed a tree stump. After some initial disappointment due to weeds growing back the owner personally came to meet with me and offered to rectify the situation without any further costs to me. Very responsive business practice and glad I decided to go with them.

In my eyes this is a highly focused and well ranked company.

I could not be more pleased with Dream Greeners landscaping of our front yard. The yard was a complete disaster; literally nothing would stay alive in it for more than a few months no matter what we tried. Brian came out and figured out the problem was a lot of root balls from a borough tree interfering with grass and plant growth. The fix was somewhat costly but very well worth it. They build up soil level and created a mini garden, instead of grass. Better for the environment, easy to maintain, and absolutely gorgeous. They used mature plants that will have lots of perennial color throughout the year, without needing much sun or maintenance. Brian was great through the whole process. He came up with a really thoughtful proposal, was very communicative, he and the owner worked with us within our budget, and once we were on the schedule, the whole team had the project done in a few quick hours. The plants are covered under a warranty and Brian kindly offered to stop by if any of them end up looking not so great (which would be totally my fault). I am so glad we went with this company for this big project. Could not be happier and would hire them again without hesitation.

We used dream greener at our old house till I retired and we moved to a smaller home close by. For two years we went back and forth with three different landscapers trying to save a few dollars. At the end of the day, we saved nothing! Poor service, poor quality, poor timeliness. We are back with Jon at Dream Greener. Five stars are not sufficient. My wife and I would give them ten. High attention to detail. Their automated communication system lets you know when work will be performed and when it is completed. For a nervous wreck like me that is wonderful. The crew is friendly. And, can you believe it...they actually have a real person that works in a real office and answers your phone calls. If you are thinking of switch or are new the neighborhood, call Dream Greener. You simply cannot do any better.

Dream Greener : My front and side yard was a total mess. Over grown grass weeds dead plants. The Dream Greener team came out in just a few hours I have a beautiful yard and side yard. I am a little surprised about negative reviews. I had a very good experience with these guys. Fist of all, they are very professional. They are always on time and finish the job as promised. You can not pay them under the table. You have to pay your taxes. This is one of the reasons I like them. Below are my experiences with these guys. Last year, I went with a limited package. I havent had any negative treatment because of my limited package selection. Once, I called Jon for a landscaping project. I got the estimate but I hired someone else. I thought it was expensive. I just wanted to save some.The irony is, I ended up hiring Dream Greener for the same job again because I wasnt happy with the fist one. Honestly, Dream greener did an amazing job. So yes, I paid twice for the same job. I learned the hard way. I also called Jon for another big landscaping project that I had in my mind. He told me that it will be too expensive and not worth it. He suggested me to leave as it is. The project was cleaning up the plants and some trees from far corner of my backyard and replacing the area with mulching&grass seeding. I was kind of surprised from his answer but it made sense at the end. Because I have a huge backyard and the extra little space I will have is not worth the money I will spend. This year, I went with full package. My grass is for the first time, green, thick and strong. Someone even told me that he is jealous of my grass. Recently, I realized that there was a little damage to my trench fence. I thought it was because of the edge mowing. I emailed Jon with photos attached. He called me and said everything they do is insured. If there is any damage they caused they are willing to pay or repair. The damage was small and I already fixed it by myself by the time he called me. So, these are my experiences with these guys. I will update my review if Ill have any negative experiences. But so far I havent had any.

My yard looks great, it had been neglected for quite awhile. They might be more expensive than some, but theres a reason. I had multiple companies not even give me an estimate due to the busy season and only requesting a one-time service. Dream Greener was even able to complete the service requested a few weeks earlier than anticipated. I was also surprised that they cleaned up items that I didnt expect. Trust me, my yard is 1,000 times improved and not an eyesore!

Wow! We just had Dream Greener install a completely new landscape around our entire house last week. It is absolutely gorgeous! Our neighbors even ran over as soon as the job was finished to tell us how beautiful it is. Our job involved a lot of work too, since we had stones instead of mulch. I was extremely happy and would recommend Jon and his team at DreamGreener to anyone. When i called them for an estimate and they called back the same day to set up an appointment and Jon came out the next day to give me an estimate, i knew they were the company for me. I explained my vision for two properties i own in Mt.Lebanon to Jon . He sent me a bid within two days, that was broken down into the different options we discussed. I could select the options i wanted to contract for now and save others for later in the summer or fall. After deciding what i wanted to start with and getting on the schedule (and a little delay because of the weather, we are in Pittsburgh after all!!!!) Jon and his team showed up on time, with enough manpower (working in pretty unfavorable weather conditions, did i mention it is springtime in Pittsburgh???) and transformed my yards into beautifully landscaped, edged, mulched beds and reseeded my front yards that had taken a beating over the last year because of my two dogs, and i couldnt have been happier. I let Jon make the shrub and plant selection for a new bed that we created and he did not disappoint, it is all more beautiful than i imagined. Everyone was so professional and respectful and worked hard all day. They trimmed my shrubs and cleaned up all areas of the yard and when they left everything looked pristine. I even called the office the next business day about something i had a concern about (nothing major) and within 2 hours Jon was at my door and within another hour his team was at my house addressing my concern!!! I was amazed , i didnt know customer service like this still existed!!!!! I will be using them again, for sure, and will recommend them to anyone who asks me about my landscaper!!! I dont leave many reviews for businesses, but this one is worth the exception. Over the past four years Ive had some fairly disappointing interactions with a number of landscaping companies. Missed appointments, poor communication, subpar work.. the list goes on. Dream Greener is absolutely amazing. Even compared to other excellent companies, I think they really manage to stand out. They follow up 100% of the time, when they say they will. If you have scheduled services performed (I do- mowing and basic grass upkeep), they show up on time, work quickly and the product is excellent. On at least one occasion, I didnt even realize they were there- Lawn Ninjas! Moreover, when they do additional work (for example, using a weed killer) they leave a note detailing the work performed and any additional care items. If you have scheduled work, they keep you in the loop as to when the work will be performed, and then send you reminders immediately before. The kicker in all of this is: They are priced very competitively. Theyre also very honest about their pricing- when quoting some work they even suggested that I might be better off working with another business for the work and provided a referral. I highly recommend!

We recently contacted Dream Greener to do some grading and reseeding work. Additionally, we had drainage installed around our shed. This company was very responsive and pleasant each time I contacted them. Jon came out to take a look at the property and talk with me regarding our needs and then quickly sent us an estimate. The price was very similar to other companies we had give us an estimate. On the day of the work, Jon came out with the crew and walked through the plan. The team worked diligently the entire day and tidied everything up when they left. Jon followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with the work done. A follow up email was sent to provide us with watering instructions for our newly seeded areas. Now I am tending to my baby grass. We are very happy with the work; the yard already looks so much better. We are already thinking about additional projects to have them help out with!

Our landscaping beds were a mess. Dream Greener came out to evaluate the situation, made some suggestions for alternative approaches, and broke down the proposal into sections so that we could do the pieces we could afford. While not the lowest, their prices were very competitive, but, more importantly, both the service and the outcome were superior. People actually stop at our house to tell how terrific our landscaping looks. Ive never had THAT happen before.

Jon was friendly and willing to work with us from day one, without ever being pushy, and laid out a recommended short and long term plan of attack to improve our new property from years of neglect. Dream Greener completely transformed my overgrown, crowded, and weed-choked garden beds. They pruned and re-shaped decorative trees and shrubs to their former glory and took out several problem trees and plantings as well. They also expanded my garden beds and added new plants and mulch. We are very pleased with the quality of the work of Dream Greener. Everything was done to specification and then some! They are very knowledgeable with a professional work ethic (which is not easy to find) and had great suggestions. I hired Dream Greener last year to maintain my lawn and to clean up the overgrown shrubs that I had neglected for a couple of years. They did an excellent job, shrubs looks great, and they even removed a dilapidated fence and some shrubs which were beyond rescue! I have rehired Dream Greener for 2015 to maintain my lawn and shrubs. Since they did such a great job last year I have also hired them to revive my lawn which needs some professional care.

I received a call from Jon within 24 hours of my on line request and he had a cost quote for me that same day, completing the work the next day as he said I lived in an area in which he was already working that day. I had multiple shrubs pruned and the landscape bed edged and mulched. His crew even pruned some shrubs in other areas of the house that I did not request ( at no additional charge. of course) Cost seemed fair and everything looked very professionally done , All was cleaned up afterwards. I will call again for other work as needed.
