I had a small paver job which I listed on two neighborhood sites. The first company to respond came out and said I would have an estimate later that evening and they could begin work the following week several days passed, despite leaving several messages they never contacted me. I contacted RLG which gave me a quote through messenger. They came out at the time scheduled looked at the job and maintained the same quote. The work was done professionally and clean up was meticulous. The workers were courteous and very hard working.
RLG Landscaping is the best. I’ve had Rick and his team do work in my yard two summers in a row. They have done all my arborvitae trees (10 total) as well as my hostas. I also have them mulch around the house every year. Rick is super friendly, knowledgeable and affordable. Great quality work.
These guys did an incredible job on our Lincoln park back yard. I was worried that maybe the job would be too large, but RLG showed up with a large team and all the gear and equipment to do the job. Rick was super responsive and went above and beyond. Best money spent on our house in a long time. Can’t say enough! Call them!
I highly recommend Rick and his team at RLG Landscaping. My family recently had a 12x12 paver patio installed in our backyard. Rick’s honesty and expertise helped us narrow down a patio design perfectly tailored for our yard size, budget, and design aesthetic. He even provided paver samples to help us visualize how the pavers would look in our yard. On the day of installation a crew of 6-8 men showed up around 7am and got right to work. They were completely done and all cleared out by 4pm. This was a big deal because I’d mentioned to Rick that I was hoping to have the patio finished in time for a family celebration scheduled later in the week. Rick promised the patio would be finished and he and his crew delivered! Since installation, I’ve received so many compliments on our new patio. I would definitely use RLG Landscaping again. He was responsive & kept me updated from start to finish. He’s very knowledgeable & has a passion for his work. His pricing is competitive as well. RLG has a great team to get the job done. RLG Landscaping did an outstanding job on both our front landscaping and our backyard remodel! We had new sod, retaining wall, planting and mulch done in the front yard. In the backyard they installed pavers, turf river rock and retaining wall. It looks amazing! They are great to work with, helpful, professional and got the job done quickly. RLG Landscaping saved the day! They did an amazing job building our garden bed and selecting and installing 3 large arborvitae shrubs for our new yard. When we first reached out for a quote, Rick was very responsive and stopped by the same day to see our yard, and was able to fit us into the schedule a few weeks later. The crew was polite, fast, and gave us a few really helpful recommendations on the spacing of the shrubs and the shape of the garden bed. Pricing was very reasonable too. Highly recommend!
RLG Landscaping converted our muddy and rutted backyard made unlivable by our spirited dog into a beautiful, tidy hideaway featuring artificial turf. The transformation was a total 180 degrees, and now Cooper can run freely without coming back wet & muddy into the house. RLG's attention to detail--cutting precisely to fit around uneven stones--was just one facet of a very professional installation that has improved the look and functionality of our property way beyond our expectations. They even rebuilt existing and uneven pavers to give a tired backyard a fresh look. Quick and clean, RLG is highly recommended!

Ricky and his crew did a great job on installing turf in my front yard and pavers in the back. Went above and beyond even pulling all the weeds in the process. Communicated very well and kept the timeline and budget that was quoted.
Rick and his crew came out to re-do my green space. They did a phenomenal job and worked with my budget. I absolutely love what they did. They removed the previous sod, added new soil, mulch, pavers and created a beautiful space! The whole crew was very friendly and they walked me through the entire process. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them after they saw the project. It was supposed to be yard draining near the driveway and yard. The employee was polite and knowledgeable though.

Our new home landscape was a mess before RLG came. The front lawn had lots of overgrown weeds- the flower beds was awkwardly tiered with different bricks thrown on top over the years. The backyard was a jungle of evasive plants and more bricks and tiers. Rick from RLG came and gave us an assessment and worked with us to provide a plan that came within our budget. His team came in and reconstructed the entire front and backyards. Removed all the unwanted bricks and tiers and even managed to salvage some plants that worked well with the new landscape design. He gave us back our entire backyard and it looks spacious, aesthetically clean and looks amazing. He further provided instructions for care in the final walkthrough and suggestions for the next phase. RLG provided a clear, concise plan that we discussed, budget that met our needs, delivery of our vision of the landscape and started and finished ahead of schedule. I will use them again for certain as they even picked up and watered our lawns before leaving.
Was suppose to be crushed granite and be a harden to be a grill area and is a mess and just sand. He showed me pictures and looked nothing like this. I called sent messages and no response for months and then basically brushed me off saying he came out already to fix. Read reviews he was a nice guy but doesn t stand behind work done and not responsive to concerns. Save your money and headaches
