The most frustrating and terrible experience. They broke our irrigation (employee told us directly) and the office continues to send bills and say threatening comments, even though we have shared that their employee confirmed it was an error from them. Mistakes happen but companies need to be ethical and take responsibility. I have offered multiple times to discuss in person or on the phone to resolve but they do not respond to that request. Terrible customer service and unethical. Will not work with them again. Avoid at all cost. And furthermore, blaming customers isn't the way to get more business - which seems to be the response to every customer complaint here. No wonder they are losing contracts.
Best irrigation department!!! The have been so much help in getting my system just right. Richard is a master technician!

A worker saturated my children's toys, scooters, our radio flyer wagon and even our swimming pool WITH POISON. Then when I went out and sprayed everything down with water, he looked right at me and sprayed poison all over our things AGAIN! I'VE CALLED IN told I would be called back with no calls back. I'm terrified to think of how many times this has happened and poison has gotten all over my and the neighbors kids who all play here! I threw everything away realizing the poison isn't just going to rinse off. I'M APPALLED. The workers couldn't even speak English to respond to my complaints.
Excellent business. I have worked with them for years. Very reputable, great leadership and I highly recommend to everyone. Every time I experience this company I get a sense of a customer-first mentality which is what you look for in a small town like Central Oregon.
Land effects mows the stone creek neighborhood that I live in. The crews have caused irreparable harm or already killed almost every tree in the neighborhood. The bases of the trees have been hit by the string trimmers and mowers weekly. This is a huge setback for our young neighborhood since most all the trees were removed to build all the houses. It will take so many extra years now to get a canopy of trees established here. Land effects has been unresponsive and hasn’t admitted to or replaced any of the trees they’ve killed. I would not recommend this company to manage your land.
Tim and his crew were awesome! They came up with a great landscape design and got the whole project done really quickly! It turned out better than I imagined it. Tims crew, with his lead Forman, Eric, we’re great to have around the house for a few days while they were working. Super impressed with their work ethic. We were also in the middle of a move and they always asked if we needed help when they saw us struggling to move furniture, etc I definitely recommend this company and will use them again.
Land effects is in charge of trees, shrubs and lawn They come out once a week .. but yet every week they duck underneath the trees and shrubs to mow the lawn that covers the sidewalk that they are suppose to maintain , of course when confronted , it isn’t my job and where short handed , but you still represent the company and could relay the message . This needed cut two months ago along with trees on the other side of the street
Drives people off the road. Seems like they have quality staff that drive like fools.
Sprayed poison all over my childrens toys and several other things in our yard.

I am a Community Association Manager here in Central Oregon and have had the pleasure to work with Dave Wydra and his crew at Land Effects for weekly landscape maintenance. They have been responsive and very accommodating when it comes to HOA needs. I would highly recommend Land Effects for all your landscaping needs!
These people do not know what they are doing. They bring out their chain saws and hedge but they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to actual plants and will hack away at your yard without regard if anything is blooming or not. They know nothing about the plants they are chopping down. They are told to hedge so they do it with chainsaws until there is nothing left, that is not hedging that is hacking. There is nothing left of the beautiful tree in my front yard or the hydrangea that was about to bloom...NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. If you are going to be in landscape business train your workers to know what to hedge and when. Its July, its not time for chopping down all of the bushes that still have time to grow. Do not hire these people to maintain your yard or you will be sorry.
Dangerous driver in the Nissan NV. Sad to see local business putting locals in danger in a company branded van. Do better, we are all part of the community, tailgating someone for three miles does you folks no good :(
These folks have done landscaping and irrigation work for me. The former with meticulous attention to detail. The latter with dogged investigation of underground piping. At the moment (Spring 2022), like most businesses, theyre a bit understaffed.

I live in Tetherow and engaged Tim and Land Effects to install pavers on our back patio and revitalize our front and back yard. Tim and his supervisor Javier did an absolutely amazing job. New irrigation, new rock formations, new retaining wall, new grass, new plants - the whole nine years - all look great. I cannot recommend these guys enough.
Please double check all your drivers have valid licenses. Your company almost bought me a new car this morning because the driver didnt use a turn signal while merging into a turn lane and I was already in the lane and the driver in a truck with a big black trailer almost sideswiped me.
I have used Land Effects for many years (5) to winterize my sprinkler system. After charging $75 per year for the service for the last three years (2018, 2019, 2020), out of the blue they billed me $220 for the same service this year. No notice of any price increase, no notice that the method of charging had changed, nothing. This is an increase of 193%. More disappointing, when I reached out to investigate, I received little help or explanation. Needless to say, I wont be using Land Effects for any work in the future.
People are unpleasant and rude. Workers are lazy and blow stuff into other neighbors yards and down the street. Management is anything but that.
Would definitely recommend Land Effects. They ve done a couple projects for us and we were very pleased with their work. We have a 2 acre lot and they provided great ideas and solutions for our landscaping needs. The people were awesome, they worked hard, the quality was there, and they were on budget. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely incompetent, maintenance wise. Unless you want angry phone calls from your entire housing complex at odd hours for something as stupid as using a leaf blower to clear out a dusting of snow (while leaving all the ice untouched, thanks guys) literally in the middle of the night, steer clear. Its not even that it was at 230 in the morning, its that they employ people so stupid they think thats even remotely a good idea

Lames ... Cant handle real work. When you get a crew that has half a clue, its half done at best. I would hire private landscapers . The owner Tom is chill, and 2 others. There is better out there, protected 1st ammendment right to my view, freedom of speech.
Theyve been great with our Spring and Fall cleanups. They also maintain our Sprinkler system & water feature. We have no complaints. They do a great job!

We purchased a bank-owned home and LandEffects did a great job designing a completely new front and back yard while staying within our budget and our low-maintenance style. They come back regularly to maintain the yard and keep it looking great. I would recommend to anyone with a small or large budget, for one time design or regular maintenance.
