I could not write a more positive review of ALD if I tried. Jarrod, the owner patiently worked with my wife and I on the design and lay out of our new backyard including a paver patio, fire pit, grass, landscaping, and a sauna cold plunge area. They seamlessly transitioned the design to execution with their awesome team of John, Brock, and Matt. They completed the 5 week project ahead of schedule, on budget, and were extremely consultative, courteous, and all around amazing to work with. We have been working with ALD for almost four years. They incredibly good at what they do, and are service-oriented. In addition to landscaping projects, they have solved for irrigation mysteries and issues, never giving up, and pulling in various team members to ensure problems were solved. The team is all pro, and good people, who do excellent work!
A great big thank you to John, Brock, Manny, and Ramon for creating a beautiful meandering path. Five years ago ALD did a landscape job that included a meandering path. This year they completed it. The dynamics of the yard were changed to a professional piece of work. The crew was always on time and worked diligently. You're the best!!!
Absolutely love the crew that did a complete cleanup on my property! I waited way too long and was overwhelmed by the amount of work it needed. My yard now looks like it was never neglected, but professionally maintained all along. I am definitely calling these guys back in the fall.
Aspen Landscape Development made my front yard re-landscaping project, removing the water-consuming lawn I never wanted and replanting with mostly natives, a success. I planned on completing this project this Fall, but just when I just got started in April drawing up the plan for HOA approval I fractured my dominant wrist and had surgery, which seemed a massive setback. So I called ALD for help and Joy brought the plan back to life. Her planting plan was approved by the HOA in one day, and I was on the ALD schedule for the Fall. John and the ALD team were great to work with: the project was started and efficiently completed in early October, including a few things that were not on the original project scope. Thank you ALD for all your professional service!
ALD took our vision and worked with us to bring it to life. From design to installation the entire crew was professional, hard working, and easy to work with. Our backyard is just what we hoped for.

I have been working ALD for a little over a year, and just had them completely overhaul our irrigation system (10 acres, automated, underground). This was not an easy job, and had a couple of challenging moments. The crew at ALD did everything they could to make it right, and get the job done. They addressed the issues head on, no corners were cut, and I couldnt be more satisfied.
We hired Aspen to install a new patio on our property, refigure our irrigation system, and install some new sod. We were very happy with their crew. They came on time every day until the job was complete. They were very friendly, answered our questions, and cleaned up thoroughly each day. The patio looks beautiful, and all the small jobs were completed to our satisfaction. Would recommend them for this type of landscape project.
ALD did a great job on our yard. They went all the way from ripping out the weeds to putting in pavers and new plants. Our yard is transformed!
You cant make an appointment with their sprinkler people. The just want to show up whenever. I keep my property gates locked and if Im not there, they cant get in. I like to be home when someone is working at my property. These people dont want anyone overseeing what they do. Im not talking about looking over their shoulder every two minutes, but Im paying so I should know whats going on. Not the friendliest people I have ever dealt with either and they do charge TOP DOLLAR.
Aspen Landscape came out to my farm for blow out last season while I was not at home and did not blow out the entire rear section of my farm. Major damage to at least 40 ft of buried Schedule 40 PVC and 13 Falcon heads. This damage was massive and required a lot of time, money and aggravation to repair. They do not contact before they come but sure do send you a bill ASAP!! I will never have them on my farm again and I suggest you think about this review before you employ this company. I wrote them a serious e-mail complaining about the damage and told them not to come here again. Sure enough, they came out this year like nothing ever happened.
At first they bought my contract from my previous landscaper, and we had issues during the transition. They went out of their way to make it right and since then have been great to deal with.
We recently used the irrigation services of Aspen Landscape Development in bend, Oregon. The work was performed timely and professionally. We were very pleased with the work and would use them again in the future. This last spring, we obtained the services of Josh Brown to install irrigation and landscaping for our entire 6,000 sq.ft. lot. Josh performed all the work efficiently, professionally and with great knowledge of the Central Oregon flora and the best species to use in our yard. The work was completed within the initial agreed upon proposal. Josh started and completed each phase of the project on the days and times that he scheduled. He went above and beyond in every facet of the work he performed. We plan to obtain Josh s services in the future and would highly recommend him.
We were first introduced to Aspen Landscape last year when our irrigation blow out contractor was not able to finish the job for 10 of the 25 properties our company cares for. With precious little time before the ground would freeze, Aspen responded on the spot and finished the remaining winterizations in the nick of time. We were so impressed by the immediate response and their teams clear and consistent communication that we used their services exclusively for winterizing 25 homes this year. The irrigation blow outs were handled thoroughly and efficiently with excellent communication, tracking, and prompt invoicing. The entire experience with Aspen Landscape has been fantastic and we highly recommend their services!
