This place is great Ben is a great guy and always does his best to get me what I need when I need it! They have the highest quality compost and mixed soils, and supply central Oregon with only the best sod from mcpheeters turf! I can easily place an order for delivery or chose to drive 33 miles to get ALL of my supplies from Ben and his team. They always get me on my way very quickly. Now if only they were open on Monday's!
After comparing prices on landscaping supplies, they were the best!! More importantly, all the people I talked to were very friendly and helpful in the office and on the phone. They were also patient and flexible when I had a temporary problem regarding 3 wasp nests on a project. Also the delivery drivers of the dump trucks helped me choose the best areas for the 2 loads of stone without ruining any sprinkler heads. Thanks, for all the help, I will gladly work with them again and highly recommend them to others!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Really let down by this business. Just got off the phone with them. Proceeded to ask them some questions surrounding their new scheduling rhythm, and the woman on the phone got rude, defensive, and short. As I was getting off the phone, she even called me a "BAS****". Deplorable customer service and professionalism.
Had a great experience from the first time we stopped in, all the way through the delivery of our materials. Prices were right in line with everyone else, bettter selection and they met or exceeded every promise. Would certainly use them again.

Ordered Rock, dirt, and sod from Instant. They are very responsive, on time, and fair prices. And if you go to their yard, their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
The adjacent road construction is difficult but they are making it work. Competitive prices and selection as compared to the competition.
Dont know much about their Landscaping part of the gig. However the cigar box lapidary that is involved with this company is above par hands down absolutely astonishing customer assistance and knowledgeable staff!

Products are too expensive and they rip you off with atrocious delivery charges. They dont match or beat prices from their competitors. They dont give Military or Senior Citizens Discounts. The variety of products is small and nothing to help you complete your tasks. One could say their customer service is terrible. But its so bad, its not like there is customer service at all. This company will hopefully go out of business sooner than later.

Weve been buying fertilizer from IL for years. Never had a problem. Today we tried to buy from them at 11:30. Seven people are sitting there having their lunch and not one person is available to ring up a transaction. The guy says can you come back later, everyone is out to lunch. What the hell kind of business can you run when you have no one available to help a customer? Instant Landscaping you not only lost a customer but I will definitely spread the word
Way overpriced
We bought our sod from Instant Landscaping last year and were really pleased. They answered all of our questions and helped us find the best sod for our yard. Delivery was on time and returning the pallets was quick and efficient. We will be using them again for a landscape rock purchase this summer.
Ive been buying the compressed logs from these guys for a few years now. I originally came in looking for some advice on an old wood burning fireplace and they spent time sharing their opinions with me about what works and what doesnt. Best part was they gave me some samples to take home and try of their premium product. I came back to purchase a pallet of the logs and have been buying from them ever since.
Avoid the mint mulch at all cost. We were originally very impressed by the look of this dark black mulch but it turned out to be a total disaster. It is not mulch. It is basically fertilizer that grows weeds and for some reason has thousands of aspen tree seedlings in it. It also turns to mud when wet and sticks to your shoes in large clumps. It has taken me over a year and a lot of labor to scrape it all out of our planting beds and dispose of it in the dump. Instant Landscaping came out to look at our beds and the guy basically shrugged his shoulders and said he had never seen anything like it before. Did not offer any solutions or refunds. Beware, they still sell this stuff. Other than this mishap they seem to be a fairly well run yard but at a very steep price compared to anywhere else in Oregon. Which is typical of Bend.
The people who work have gone above and beyond to make me feel like Im important to them. I purchased a home last year and this year I am completely re-landscaping the back yard, including putting in a paver patio, installing sprinklers, installing new sod, and planting all new plants. They have placed special orders, helped with recommendations, and make me feel welcome every time I come in. A couple of them even greet me with my first name! Now thats service.
Love this place! They have great mulch and other products at comparable prices, and their staffing is friendly, competent, and helpful. I dont use any other place now!
