Reached out to Blake for an estimate based on a friend of the family that referred him to us. Blake was prompt, courteous and very attentive to our needs. He came out within a day and I had the samples and an estimate within hours. We selected Artisian over two other companies because of their customer service, Blake followed up and answered every question I had. Installation was on schedule and the crew was courteous and cleaned up after themselves. We received estimates from three different turf companies and were blown away by Artisan Turf, they were a different caliber than the other companies so we chose them to turf our backyard. Two of our neighbors used Artisan Turf as well with outstanding results and that is how we heard of them. From our first appt to get our estimate to the final walk through we felt so taken care of and comfortable with the entire process. Blake was so thorough, honest, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. The crew was so attentive to detail, efficient, precise, and hardworking. Blake and his team are nothing short of incredible! We interviewed three vendors, and it was not hard to decide that Blake was who we wanted for the project. He was honest, helpful with the design and function, and really made our vision come to life but better! We did an extensive search for companies to complete our backyard project. After receiving many estimates, the prices were fairly competitive. Ultimately, we went Artisan because of our confidence in Spencer. His team did a fantastic job and completed the work on scheduled and as promised. Our entire project took only two days after the initial consultation. We highly recommend this company and have been enjoying our time on the turf!
I have been wanting turf in my backyard around our pool, ever since we got our pool. Having dogs made it hard for my grass to grow in the backyard. I was wanting something that was low maintenance, looked good, and was pet friendly. I am one to do a ton of research before purchasing anything, especially something that won’t be cheap. I got over 10 quotes to put turf in my backyard around the pool. I looked online, social media, Google, Yelp, anywhere I could find reviews and photos to help with my decision. I sent inquiries to several companies, and Blake with Artisan Turf, was the first to respond and responded right away. He scheduled a time to come out and give me an estimate on the next business day. When Blake came out he went over the whole process. He listened, and answered all of my questions. He didn’t pressure me while I was getting quotes from other companies, and still answered any question I had while getting other quotes. I had quotes that were cheaper, and some that were more expensive. Blake was professional, and built a relationship with me. In the end, this helped make my decision to go with Blake and Artisan Turf. They were able to schedule me in quickly. Blake and his team showed up on a Thursday, and finished on Friday. It would have been done sooner, but we had some rain come in Thursday evening. Blake didn’t force me to put anything down, or pay him before the work was done, unlike some other companies were wanting. Once they were done, we did a walk through and he addressed any questions I had. Blake said he would come back out for brushing, and add any infill that might be needed. He said he would come back if there were any issues, and I believe him. The turf came out looking amazing. We had a baby shower a week later, and everyone loved it. Many thought it was real grass. It’s been a couple weeks now, and it still looks amazing. The dogs love it, and we don’t have to worry about them tracking dirt or clay in the house anymore. It will also help keep the pool clean, without all the grass, clay, and dirt getting in the pool. I’m excited to enjoy it when we can get into the pool. The overall process was great working with Blake and Artisan Turf.
We called Artisan Turf because of a good review we saw on our Neighborhood App. I'm so glad we did. Spencer Shepherd came out addressed our concerns, answered all our questions. We have large dogs, wanted to eliminate the mud & dirt coming into our home & pool. We had a pet turf installed & Hubby wanted a putting green designed by Blake pugh. They did everything promised, were on time for appointments & installation completed in 2 days. We love our yard! Wish we had done years ago. No. Regrets. Blake and his team are PERFECTIONISTS. All of them. This lawn in my front yard is absolutely gorgeous. We re seniors and no longer interested in yard work. Blake presented the perfect solution. Last night it was raining so hard the animals started pairing up, I was worried about my lawn. My roof shingles blew to the neighbors yard, my Texas flag landed on my sidewalk, my plants flew across hells half acre ..but my Artisan Turf stayed right where the guys laid it. Highly recommend ARTISAN TURF!

Blake and his Team were awesome. I ve contacted a few turf companies but what stood out about Blake was that he was on the ground making stuff happen. Blake listened to my needs, provided solutions, and acted on them. I was able to turf and rock my whole yard area. Blake provided a reasonable quote and started the job a couple days later. I strongly suggest Blake and Team for any turf needs.
