We couldnt be happier with the work Island Greenery did for us. Scott was a complete professional and fielded the many questions my wife and I had about color, design and layout of our project. He was on time every day and even showed up a week prior to the job with his foreman to make sure everything was in order. The foreman Jose is truly a master of his craft. He suggested subtle changes to our project that we didnt think of and were happy he did. It made the whole project come together exactly how we imagined. We cant wait to enjoy all of the work this summer. Highly recommend!

I have to say, from start to finish Island Greenery did an amazing job. I received quotes from a few companies but based off a recommendation from a friend and the way they made us feel we choose them. Although Mark is retired now, he was very patient, understanding and always made us feel comfortable when it came to making a decision. The crews were very professional and more importantly, clean. They never left until everything was cleaned up and prepped for the following day. I did have issues with the actual paver (Cambridge Onyx Natural). Some were pitted and damaged which can happen with pavers. I worked with the Cambridge representative and Scott the owner at Island Greenery and together we devised a plan and Island Greenery executed it to perfection. Thank you Scott for standing by your work and more importantly, your word. I strongly recommend this company for any of your design needs.

Couldn t have asked for a better crew to do our backyard. Came out better than expected, more affordable than any other company we got quoted from, and they even figured out a better design for the backyard than we had envisioned. We live in a historic house so extra care had to be minded for the foundation and the landscape and Island greenery turned out to be the right team for it. We plan on using them again for the driveway as well. 6/5 stars. Truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations.

I COULD just live there, I love all the pretty plants, and they are pretty helpful. But damn the prices of plants, flowers and shrubs has gone up everywhere.

My husband and I want to give a Big shout out to Scott for how professional he was through out the entire process of our patio job. From the first time Scott came to give us a quote and until the job was complete he was always easy to reach by phone. If he was not available he always returned our calls in a very timely manner. Holy moly. Let s start off with the patio. My patio was barely even a patio , it was rocks- falling apart. Scott and his team came over and really blew it out of this world. It s gorgeous , perfect and incredible. I just look at it now in awwwee! I had them come back and do the backyard landscaping. All of the young trees have adapted and look incredible in my backyard. I also think that the services provided were super reasonable. I was always told you pay for good stuff, this is the perfect example! 5 out of 5 - referring them forever!

I Had sod installed. Island Greenery did an awesome job. It s the best my yard ever looked. They are professional, showed up when they said they would, cleaned up when they were done and I highly recommend them.

Just wanted to share some very positive experiences with Island Greenery Ive had. Theyve done work at our house ranging from landscape design, hardscape design of driveway, walkways and large backyard patio, and they also do our weekly and seasonal landscape maintenance. We recently had some minor issues with our pavers that we called about and Scott was at our door within a day to review the questions and had a crew there in less than a week to repair. Weve never had an issue with our landscaping and get plenty of compliments on our lawn and curb appeal. They stand by their work, their products and continue to impress me with customer service that goes above and beyond.

Nice neighborhood nursery. The staff is always helpful. Beyond plants, they have a ton of nick nacks to add that finishing touch.

Amazing experience with Island Greenery. Scott was so professional and walked us through the whole paver process. We had our deck demo and then paving installation done within 4 days and everyone was professional and efficient. The pavers look excellent and I would highly recommend them for any job.

What can I say...Just completed a huge masonry project at my house involving a paver driveway, paver walkway, and a backyard patio...Island Greenery is second to none. From the 1st day going forward Scott was professional, honest and extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done and took the time to explain every phase of the work. They showed up on time every day during construction with a very competent and respectful crew. They were respectful of my property and when the day was done they cleaned up so well that you wouldnt have known that they were here. These guys were great, I called them last minute for a topsoil delivery... they came through and was able to deliver fresh topsoil and neatly dumped it onto a tarp I had set up... the job was done cleanly and neatly without me even being home. I was recommended by a friend Tom who has dealt with them many times in the past. Highly recommend for sure, I plan on using this business for my future landscape projects

Gene and the guys over at Island Greenery are fantastic! Reasonable prices and clean honest work. We recently added a pool and needed to re-grade and sod our backyard. We also needed a green screen to break up all the hardscape. The guys put weed block down over my pool pavers to keep them clean, removed a tree and added that finishing touch to create our backyard oasis! Definitely recommended.

I have no idea how their landscaping is, I have a sixteen year old son for that. But at there location I have always been impressed with the quality of their plants. We had to find tickseed, and the 3 other nurseries never even heard of it. Island Greenery did, and they had it and they were great. Ill see them soon for propane fill ups and in 6 months for our tree. Great spot, the only one we use.

Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. The owner is a good guy took great care of us.

So I bought 7 Leyland cypress trees 5 to 6 foot. I needed one more and bought it. Paid for delivery and they dropped off an 8 to 10 footer. I called and told me they sell them by the gallon ( first I heard of that one and my landscaper laughed as well. So they said they would come swap ot out and I never heard from them again. Funny because I need 7 more and I will be going elsewhere. Horrible service.

August 26, 2020- The owner of Island Greenery called me to set up a meeting. He was able to give me another estimate. After choosing the trees that I wanted, they came to plant them. They did a wonderful, quick job. Thank you Gene . They came to give me an estimate for a backyard clean-up and I also wanted to add trees and shrubs. That was on May 7. It s July 3rd and still no call back or email on how much it will cost or if they are even interested in doing the job. Called the office in June and still no reply. Very sad because they did a job for my neighbor next door and it was really nice.

Got an estimate from Mark for pavers patio. Price was reasonable but it was the little extras that made my decision easy. For example the 4 cement base, the polymeric sand (I needed to Google this) used in between each brick and the way the border pieces were secured, made us choose them. We were expecting the job to be done in May but we got lucky and then were able to fit us in this past week. They said it would take 4 days and that is exactly what it took. We especially loved the fact that they brought dumpsters on site everyday and took them with them at the end of each day. Im sure the neighbors liked this as well. At the end of the job, they cleaned up the yard and leveled out the dirt. All this and the pavers looks awesome. Thank you Mark, Jose and the rest of the crew.

I Had My Leyland Cypress s Trimmed this week, The Head Foremen On The Job was a gentleman named Freddie, He went over and beyond to make my hedges perfect. I recommend asking for Freddie to be on the job for any big projects. He went over the job with me before he started and was a Pleasure To Work With During The Project. BUYER BEWARE!! Gene from Island Greenery came to my home today unannounced after multiple unreturned phone calls from my fiance, had a screaming confrontation with me that my neighbors witnessed and then stormed away, yelling that he was breaking my contract, because his workers failed to adequately deweed our flower beds and lawn and properly seed our lawn during the spring cleanup and failed to show up last week at all for weekly maintenance. Very professional. Allow me to explain: We hired Island Greenery last fall after reading the positive reviews here on Yelp. We hired them for our fall cleanup and for the spring/summer of 2018. In the fall we had them weed our flower beds and lay black mulch. We were told theyd resume spring service two weeks ago w a spring cleanup followed by weekly maintenace. I called to see when theyd be coming and I was told our service day would be Mondays. The first Monday would be spring cleanup--deweeding our lawn and flower beds, laying seed, and lawn cutting-- followed by weekly maintenace. That Monday it poured so they came Tuesday. I called Island Greenery immediately after the workers left to let them know one of my beds had not been deweeded at all; there were two beginnings of dandelions sprouting up. I did not receive a callback so my fiance also called. He was assured by Gene it would taken care of the following week. I went outside and noticed dandelions growing all over the grass in both the front and back of our yard, as well as brown mushrooms caps sprouting from from the mulch, an issue that in the 32 years my fiance has lived here hes never had. We figured theyd address it at the next visit, but then they never showed up last week. My fiance called the office three times with zero returned calls to report the fungus growing from the mulch they laid in the fall, the dandelions, and the lack of visit. We were told wed been accidentally left off the schedule and it would be addressed this week. Well, today, completely unannounced a visibly inebriated Gene showed up to my home unannounced while my fiance was out. I spied him standing on my lawn attempting to enter my backyard without my permission. What followed was an altercation where he insisted that the dandelions in my unweeded bed must have suddenly shot up and that we must have decaying matter in the soil and it was 100% not his fault and that he was cancelling his contract with us because I told him I had photo evidence of them not deweeding the bed. Very professional. The encounter lasted about 30 mins where he shouted at me standing in the driver side door of his pickup truck while my neighbors looked on. All because his guys failed to adequately deweed flower beds and address a fungus issue he brought when he laid mulch in the fall. All that needed to be done was have the yard serviced properly, but Gene threw a fit instead of simply sending his workers to finish the job. In the time it took for him to show up here unannounced and have this argument, the problem could have been rectified. Never again.

2 or 3 times over priced compared to every other local nurseries! The staff acts as if they are doing you a favor and as if they are giving you gold!

High quality plants. Very nice staff. They designed and planted out backyard. We continue to visit for propane , small plants and Christmas trees.

Got as estimate for pavers. Not fair pricing. Not even close.
