Juan Cruz came to service my sprinklers and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He explained to me about my system as a new home owner and capped a sprinkler head where I am putting a new garden. He talked through all options for me and was very helpful!!!

A new irrigation system was installed. The men were friendly and professional. All of my questions were answered clearly and completely. Ralph spent time after the installation, assisting me on how to upload the new system program onto my iPhone. Once that was completed he showed me how to use the system. As we were walking around the property I noticed that his team fixed areas of the lawn that needed to be flattened and in some areas they removed old concrete pieces that needed to be removed. The lawn looked better than ever when the installation was complete. I highly recommend this company.

Hard to believe, but its over ten years since Ralph put in my sprinkler system. Did it right the first time. Little maintenance over the years, and someone always answers the phone. Last year I hired him to do some much needed landscaping around the house. Job was as much getting rid of ugly, overgrown bushes as putting in a nice new assortment of bushes and shrubs. Now the house has much more curb appeal in case I should decide to ditch the Long Island property taxes. ***** What a difference three years makes. Three years after Ralph did such a nice job with the landscaping, the house only now is going on sale, and re-landscaping was needed. All four large rhododendrons had died, weeds had infested the main front flower bed, and the backyard was again resembling a jungle. This did not go well from the beginning. Some of my calls to the office went unreturned. It took about three weeks to get Ralph here to give an estimate. At the time I was going to have the lawn sodded again, and the front and side flowerbeds cleared and restocked with new shrubs and the back just having the underbrush cleared out and bushes trimmed back. The estimate was $2000 for lawn and $1200 for landscaping. I didnt get it in writing. We just discussed what I wanted done. He walked into the back yard to look around there. I was persuaded to drop the new sod lawn as being a poor investment for helping the sale of the house. I called the office to inform them that I was dropping the sod. Again, over a week without a response or setting a date for the work. I called the office, told the woman on the phone that I was increasing the $1200 estimate he had given me to $1500 and that the work was no rush job and could be carried out at just some time within the next few weeks. I added that if he did not want to do the job to just refer me to someone else. He and his crew finally show up about 10 days later. Instead of four rhododendrons and six azaleas I was given one rhododendron, no azaleas, and two wilting shrubs I could not identify. Tolerable if he had only cleaned up the back. But no one set foot in the back. I had nothing in writing; I paid the $1500. This affair troubled me as I had trusted this person and was also anxious to check off the landscaping on my pre-sale list of things to do. The best I can figure is that he was busy and was not really interested in a small, low profit job. But I had told him that if he didnt want to do the job to tell me and if possible refer me to someone else. Accepting the job and completing it quick and dirty is not an acceptable business practice.

We have used Ralph for years. He has done landscaping and IGS for us as well. Ralph and his crew are responsible, reliable and do a terrific job. I highly recommend them.

Post Hurricane Sandy, I needed to rebuild the front entrance stairs, walkway and driveway. When the construction was completed I then contacted several (10 in all) landscapers for estimates to redo the sprinkler system, grade and sod the front lawn. Of the ten companies I contacted , six were eliminated as they did not do both landscaping and sprinklers. Of the remaining four, three were eliminated for either being too expensive, low balling the cost and /or unresponsive. I selected In The Green Landscaping, Inc. Ralph and his crew arrived on the day scheduled and did an absolute great job of removing all the old grass and weeds, installing three new zones for sprinklers, graded, sod and laying mulch. They are very professional, had all the necessary equipment and their cleanup was superb. It should be noted that the initial condition of the front lawn was a disaster, and now the front of our house never looked better.
