I hired Augusta for an overdue yard clean-up. They trimmed several junipers, shrubs, and a large overgrown hedge - great work - efficient and courteous, and left my yard looking much, much better - highly recommend!

Very professional company and are the most dependable lawn crew I ve ever had!

They love to trick people into paying huge bills by charging per minute per man!

Chainsaws my 20 year old cottoneaster and now it has no shape and is very sick. Did the same thing with my precious may rhodie that was round and beautiful. The first plant may not recover. The rhodie might in about ten years. My lifetime. I m 73.

Its a new year and a new landscaping. We have a natural plantings yard with lots of mulch and weeds are our biggest problem. Joe, from Augusta, came and did a wonderful job. And, he double checked with us that everything was done to our specifications. We could not be more pleased with the entire process. My yard had been neglected over the summer because of many reasons but one phone call to Augusta solved the problem!! Joziah and Dakota did a marvelous job doing clean up and Allan and Charlie came later and did some great mowing and trimming. My yard is back to normal and I plan to keep it that way with the help of Augusta! Cant say enough positive things about the fast communication and professional demeanor of all the workers! Oliver and Christian did such an AMAZING job! It has been a huge undertaking for my husband, daughters and I to try to tame our backyard! We had only put a dent in clearing the backyard over the past 5 years, and these 2 young men made it look easy! They hauled away 5 trailers full of weeds, ivy, bushes, small trees, etc. in just 2 days! Woohoo! Kudos to you both, gentlemen! Our backyard has never looked so good! Or looked so big! We are excited for the possibilities of making it an oasis!

I never found out how well they may do the lawn. I hired them, and then, after two times of them missing our scheduled appointment for them to do my yard, I had to go another way.

Very disappointing service. It was usually two kids that would show up and work together. They left missed patches all over the lawn, refused to weedeat the side of the fence, which I was told they would do. They consistently messed up the scheduling and would not show up on weeks that they should have. For as much as they charge, they sure took a lot of shortcuts and missed a lot.

I love this lawn care company. They have tailored my services to make it affordable on my fixed income. Kat runs the office/phones and most always answers right away. When you do have to leave a message she calls back promptly. I like the scheduling software they use, which sends automated reminders for mowing, which they have never missed. They used to be great with wonderful customer service. Unfortunately, not anymore. After three years, I just had to cancel my service with them due to terrible lawncare and a general manager with zero customer service skills.

I am a new customer, I received an estimate two weeks ago for new services and they have cut my grass one time. Today I got a notice that my rate is being increased by $12. They won t honor the price they just quoted me 2 weeks ago. Asked the office manager to have the owner call me and she said I can try but there is no guarantee you will receive a call back. Was also not very friendly and told me I could just cancel. I will gladly change my review if the owner actually calls me and rectifies the situation. It s a strange way to do business one week after a new service begins you get a price increase.

Alan and Joe did incredible! The weeds (lambs quarter, horse tails, thistles, etc..) in our yard were ravenous this year. The two man team; Joe and Alan showed up, and wiped them out like it was nothing! Were very happy with how the yard looks now. Thanks!

Alan at Augusta Lawn Care did an excellent job of replenishing our gravel walkways. He worked diligently for hours and before he left, he did a walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied. Bravo and thank you, Alan. Update as of 6/19/24: This lawn service is now in disarray, marred by incompetent management. After many years of being a loyal customer I no longer will use any of their services. They are unreliable, failing to perform simple weekly mowing. They used my credit card to pay for mowing though I never authorized them to do so. They failed to send me invoices. When I called to report their failure to mow my lawn for 10 days, they did nothing. They sent us a notice of a 25% price increase effective immediately despite the fact that they didnt mow our lawn. We notified them that we no longer wanted any services from them on 6/17/24. We received a reply from them acknowledging this on 6/17/24. On 6/19/24 they showed up to mow (2 weeks late). My husband stopped them, informing them we had discontinued service. It is disgraceful that a once reliable company is now so mismanaged and incompetent.

Mowing of lawn was mediocre. Always missed spots. I didnt mind too much because they only charged 40 bucks. But then they raised prices mid season and I found someone else.

I appreciate the care and attention my lawn service experience was with Hendrick and Jim. Both gentlemen asked questions and showed genuine concern for my lawn care needs. Having had experience with another lawn service, I can make a comparison as to what GREAT lawn care services look like, Augusta is that 5-star service, every part of the service from first calls to the office; speaking with live people and being heard as to get estimates adjusted as you would like. Their people (especially Jim, Hendrick, and DANIEL) are there for your lawn care satisfaction.

Overall, good for the first day of both the lawn cut and then the first visit by the performance care team. Sadly, it was raining quite a bit for the performance team and so after dethatching, the bagging lawnmower didnt really get much of the thatch up, a lot is left on the lawn, rather unsightly. If someone could stop by after it dries a bit, that would be awesome. Update: the team did stop by a couple days later and ran the mower over the grass again, cleaning up 90% of the thatch that was leftover, so very happy with the follow-up.

We had the pleasure of meeting and watching Oliver work our yard this past week. He was especially great with the pruning which was badly needed. I give him five stars for his hard work and we also enjoyed his personality when meeting him. Nice job Oliver.

I was close to putting my back out from pulling ivy all week when I noticed an Agusta crew -Drew & Anthony - working up the street. I asked if pulling ivy was in their skillset and it was. Two days later they were pulling mine and they did a great job of it before covering the area with dark bark. My wife was so happy with their work weve called them back to tidy up the rest of our yard.

Due to a combination of poor soil quality and several dead branch ends scattered on the surface, my wife opined that the area gave the appearance of not having been mowed. I determined that the grass had indeed been cut but the area needs lots of TLC. Otherwise, I am satisfied with your efforts.

Mowing services were adequate. I had them do some garden bed refreshment. They used a weed eater to get the weeds out and covered the bed with fresh bark. Kinda expensive for what I got with that service.

We had several years of thatch build up. He had to go over our yard 3 times to get it all. Very thorough, and careful to miss our sprinkler heads. I highly recommend this firm for any of their services.

Due to the previous homeowners lack of gutters, there was significant soil erosion along one side of the house and fence line. Kyle, our technician single handedly moved 1 ton of fill dirt then 1 ton of rock from the front of the house to the back yard to fill in the areas along the fence line. Once completed he walked us around to make sure we were satisfied with his work and ask if we had any questions.

They cut the grass in the ditch - looks great!

We had several services performed such as thatch (many cuts with grass pickup), massive amounts of weeds extracted from front of the house including around the pool in the rear, building a stone surround around the mailbox, rock installed to stop erosion, 3 of mulch in all landscape front/rear, bushes and trees shaped, mow and weed eating. They were prompt and reasonable for the amount of time spent. Also, to our surprise they blew off the debris several times during the process that took two days to complete. They made a first visit to discuss all the activity we needed taking notes and photos followed by a detailed estimate. We highly recommend Agusta Lawn Care for any yard work you may have.

I had Adan at my home on May 15,2023. He is amazing! He had been part of the crew that came to my home in the beginning of mowing season and did a beautiful job then too. He had a partner with him then but I can t remember his name. Adan really takes pride in his work. I told Adan a few of my few complaints from the previous yard maintenance workers who had been at my home the week prior. Adan really listened and cared about my frustrations with how my yard looked. Adan understands that my husband and I are disabled and that is why we need the lawn care. I really wish he could do my yard all the time instead of switching off and on. I highly recommend Adan to be your yard maintenance person.

Tues. May 16, I m 78 and just had back surgery. I was sitting on my walker watching my wife (75) using a small battery operated weed eater on a hillside going into our driveway. It was very hot. And this Augusta pickup drove by then backed up and pulled into our driveway and said, can we lend a hand? The two young guys jumped out of the truck and took care of that long grass and even did a little edging. Then blew the driveway and off they went. The employees doing the work were very professional and did a great job. Few hiccups after that due to the height of the hedge and access, but everything turned out well in the end.

I never got contacted to be told the work was done (was at the residence at the time, but they didnt even try to see if I was home). Also never had anyone come over to review after the fact like their emails say theyre supposed to. There are some weeds that were supposed to be removed that were not, so it looked like they cared more about being fast, than doing it right.

Repeatedly missed part of the quoted area. Contacted them after each service and was promised it would be taken care of next time. After the 4th service, and complaint about AGAIN missing part of the quoted area, I was promised Id get a new estimate and all service would be paused until I approved a new quote. No new quote was sent, and someone came out and mowed the same incomplete area that was done the first 4 times. After contacting them about that, they just went ahead and charged my credit card without auto-pay set up, or any type of authorization, while I was disputing the bill. Beware of this scammy practice.

Leon & Noah spent over 3 days cleaning up pruning & cutting back trees & bushes in our very very overgrown yard. Leon was very communicative and checked in with me on the progress several times daily. It was a big job and I was very impressed how hard they worked. My yard looks so good! Would 100% recommend them & fully intend to have them back on a regular basis going forward.

Blake C did a great job. He happened to arrive just as I was beginning to lead an online workshop and was flexible enough to go do another client job nearby and return later in the day. And on a rainy cold day too. I truly appreciate this flexibility and kindness. Thank you.

This review is from a neighbors point of view. The majority of the time, they do a decent job, but every now and again they destroy the look of my yard. I am a firm believer that when you take care of a yard, the cuts should be in straight lines and not look like the person that is cutting the yard is drunk. This company is unable to cut a straight line between my neighbors yard and mine. See the attached photos that show that line will very by feet, not inches. I am standing in a direct line from the fence and in that short space, there is a massive variance that makes my yard look awful.

LEON IS THE MAN!!! He did a fantastic job mowing my lawn, edging, and weed eating. On top of it my side yard and back yard are in dire need of a French drain and both were completely soaked or underwater so instead of leaving tire marks from his lawnmower which most employees from other companies would do, he took the extra initiative and time to cut the whole back and side yard with his weed eater. And here s the kicker, when I first met him he was cutting my next door neighbors yard. I approached him and asked him if I could pay him in cash directly and under the table without his company knowing so he could make the extra money. He did not hesitate for a split second to shoot my offer down! This is the type of professional with morals, character, and honesty any company would be beyond lucky to have. To be 100% honest whatever they re paying this guy should be doubled or tripled and his company is lucky I don t own a business right now because I would steal him in a heart beat! The world would truly be a better place if more people were like LEON! I hope you end up seeing this one day LEON because you should be commended for your work and Character. I will 1000% have repeat business with this company and possibly never cut my lawn again as long as this company keeps sending LEON back to my home!

UPDATED REVIEW: After someone finally gave us a call back, we received the customer service we were looking for from Liz. We were appropriately refunded for the services that were not sufficient for our project needs. It is because of Liz that we are giving a better star rating. She is probably single handedly salvaging this company s reputation. We are still incredibly disappointed with Marcus who is the office manager that never tried to appropriately rectify the situation and who never once called when we specifically requested him to multiple times. Original review (1 star): My husband and I hired Augusta lawn care because we were planning to sell the house in a couple of months. We hired them to fix patches of dead spots on our lawn as well as remove/kill the moss. When we asked if they could have the yard looking good in two months, they assured us that they could. Fast forward two months and none of the dead spots were fixed at all and all of moss was still there. When we addressed this with them, they said they take full responsibility and instead of offering or giving us a partial refund, they offered a discount on future services. We were very clear that we won t be using them in the future, and do not want discounted service, but rather a partial if not full refund for their failed job. We stated multiple times we wanted a call to discuss further but continue to only receive emails stating the same thing over and over again. DO NOT HIRE THEM. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Attempted to contract Augusta to perform weekly cut on a rental unit I had just moved out of. When I left lawn was in good order. First call - Get initial quote for service told that Id be contacted shortly for confirmation, never called I contact Augusta 7 days after the first call and note that Ive not been contacted told Marcus will be contacting me that day 2 days later I call, no message from Marcus yet, ask to be contacted ASAP as the lawn is now growing longer, and will require additional work. 2 days _later_ I call again, told that Marcus will contact you by the end of the day - No contact I call the next day told well sort this out by today; was not contacted. 5 days pass with no contact, lawn now extremely long. On the 16th I get a boilerplate email that I will have service on that day and billed at the end of the month. I reply to the email with no response. 7 days later I get a message from the my neighborhood HOA that Im now in violation of neighborhood policy on the lawn, get friends to check, lawn was not serviced. I contact August _twice_ on the same day and am now told that the lawn will take 6-8 hours worth of work before they can do anything with it. And that my charge will be close to $600 for an original estimate of $40 TLDR: Marcus effectively abandoned me as a customer, due to their negligence my lawn became overgrown, then said theyd charge me for what amounted to their delays in getting service started. To anyone looking at this service, Id highly recommend asking if Marcus is made your project manager to ask for someone else as his communication and organization are awful. Will edit this in place since I cant reply to a reply. 1st edit; fixed $30 estimate to $40. Response: No, thank you Im not interested in this service. I continue to have communication concerns, particularly after being contacted by an office manager directly who was in no way interested in working with me other than reiterating points which I had already discussed why they were either inaccurate or irrelevant and not listening. This further degraded my faith that good communication would be possible. I have 3 recommendations in the future: - Promptness, if youre going to tell people youre going to contact them in a certain time frame, do so. Simply leaving notes on a file for someone else to _possibly_ relay at a future date isnt an effective communication strategy. - Seasonal organization, your office manager was quick to tell me how busy you are, which I appreciate to a degree, but this was never communicated to me until 24 days later, if this had been communicated, I could have adjusted my expectations - Direct communication, I understand youre busy, but several repeated attempts at contact were made by myself over the course of over 20 days, why did it take finally calling 3 times in 1 day for any prompt responses to occur?

I have never had a lawn service that would update me about service. We had a heavy rain, my yard was soaked. They let me know they had to wait to mow. Im so impressed.

We had several small maple trees and other bushes pruned along with some weed whacking completed by Augusta. Leon and Mitchel did the work, and I found them to be efficient and friendly. They did a great job shaping the trees and bushes. The weed whacking and clean up was excellent.

Lots of shrubs, bushes, trees to trim, many on a steep hillside. Augusta s worker worked diligently ad did a great job cleaning it all up.

Yard looks awesome. The only negative thing is that I thought the blackberry vines were going to be trimmed down.

The service we received on trimming back the hedges and cutting out a tree was easy, efficient and very cost effective.

Just save your money. I hired this company for mowing and general lawn maintenance. Spent around 1000$ for a wedding job I had to finish myself. I also hired them for lawn mowing and each time they only did 50% of my yard. I had to speak with the manager multiple times and by the end of my services I was being over charged. This place is run by teenagers and is a complete waste of your time! Save yourself a migraine and just don t book with them.

We started using Augusta early this year for some cleanup work for weeds, weekly lawn mowing and weed whacking service. We have not had a great experience. When they did cleanup work the guy came in rain and sprayed the weeds which doesn t work (we had to point it out for someone to come back and redo), they are never consistent when they come, they would leave our back gate open when they are done (we have dogs, so scared us), have had issues with their team completing the work and would miss areas in our yard for lawn mowing. We decided to reduce down to bi weekly and was told the price wouldn t change but they still proceeded to over charge and wouldn t correct. This company continued to make mistake after mistake and do not recommend for on going mowing services.

Leon Langer did a great job today taking down my unwanted grape vines and cleaning up the mess they made. I was very happy with his work.

Overall Augusta is good, days (in my case Thurs or Fri) and times of arrival differ. It is different people each time and thus the work quality differs. While some of the employees are very detail oriented and do a great job others are in a hurry and at times did not do edging etc. Augusta mainly mowed the yard and edged, anything else is extra. I used Augusta after a high schooler moved who had done the yard work for over a year. The service is expensive and communication between the office and employees never quite resulted in clear understandings about the job. One man was going to leave without mowing the back yard on one visit because he thought a fern was in his way. It had routinely been walked by by others without a problem. Work is very different if you are home as opposed to not home. Overall though I think Augusta is good! Update 11/1/22: In response, the owner does not even know my name...LOL! Crew consistently used the gate in the back to get in and there is plenty of room. Anytime something was brought to their attention, no one came right back. Instead they only said they would talk to them about it. The last visit was the best because the employee took the time to do a great job! He edged which not all crew did.

Kudos to Leon on a job well done. Not only did he put in a full day and do great work, he helped clarify the job parameters with the main office. Friendly and efficient!
