I used Lawn Wranglers for 8 years and was satisfied with their treatment of my lawn. Before I prepaid for 2024 services (due to discount for paying up front) I called the office to explain that I would be moving sometime during 2024 but I didn’t know when. I asked if I would be entitled to a refund for the unused portion of my payment and was assured by a lady in the business office that I would. I scheduled my move for July 2 and on June 8 I called the office, talked to Sandy and asked to 1) discontinue services, and 2) to send a refund to my new address for my unused services. Having received no refund, I called a second time on July 15 to request a refund. I talked again to Sandy on this occasion and she told me that she had put a note on the top of James’s desk to tell him that I had called again for my refund. On July 23 I left a voicemail for James, asking him to return my call. Since James did not return my call, I sent a certified letter on July 25. The office was closed when the post office tried to deliver my letter, so the postal service person left a note telling Lawn Wranglers that they had a certified letter waiting for them at the post office. That was more than a week ago and my letter has not been picked up. My next move will be to file a claim for my $500+ with Small Claims Court.
Ok this company almost kill me by having there blow mower fell on the street and hit my car and it was leaking gasoline. I have a police report about this deadly incident, and they are not responding to my calls to make their insurance company take care of the damages that happened to my car because of them.
I was a customer for 8 years. They did a great job but the last 2 years we had a dispute about the leaf removal. I was quoted $ 350, the bill came for $ 700! After back and forth we settled for $ 375. Last year also quoted for $ 350 and received a bill for $ 1050!!!! We settled for $ 380. I am not longer a customer needless to say.
We have used for lawn treatment including fertilizer and weed treat for nearly 5 years. Sadly, service has declined over past year. My main issue is asking if they perform a service, told they'll check and never getting an answer. We have been waiting on landscape/tree brush removal for around 9 months. I believe a key member of their staff has left. Still waiting on an answer from question I asked 3 weeks ago. Not sure we will use them for routine lawn maintenance in the future.
They were supposed to come out and check on a flowering crabapple tree, called them three times and they never showed up. We were referred to them by Meurer Bros who always do excellent work and are very professional, much better than these guys!!!
We started using them a few years ago. They were great at that point. Had some issues when we had the fall clean up done, but I videoed the issues in progress and sent them to Rose that handled the customer service. She was on top of it, addressed the issue immediately, and was great. Couple more years go by and all is smooth. This past year, however, really tanked. I called to pay a bill and expressed my displeasure in finding a travel charge added to my bill without my knowledge. They added it without disclosing it (they work on yearly bids that you can pay up front at a discount or per treatment) and when I questioned it the owner referred to himself in 3rd person acting like it wasn't him on the phone. I also had requested a bid on fall clean up for my MIL's house. We met there, walked around, and was told I'd have a quote in a few days. I finally received it about a month later. Needless to say, we had already moved on since it had gotten cold and we would regroup next Fall. Then I had my last service of the year. It had been noted on my account since day 1 that I was to be contacted the day prior to anyone coming due to my dogs. They assured me this could be noted on my account and that was no issue as they do that for a lot of customers. This was my sole reason for going with them over all other companies I contacted. I was alerted by my dogs this last time that someone was obviously on my property as they started to scuffle between themselves. Thank goodness I was nearby to separate them and make sure everyone was safe. I looked out front to find an unmarked truck sitting in the street and someone out back treating my lawn. I called Lawn Wranglers to make sure it wasn't them before going out to talk to this guy about being at a wrong address, assuming he was to be at a neighbor's yard. I spoke to some lady (not Rose) that confirmed it was their guy and her was doing a treatment they had me scheduled for. I told her absolutely not, that my account was noted that I was to receive a call every time they were coming, they nearly caused a dog fight, and no one ever contacted me. She confirmed it was noted and said, "Oh, yeah, you're right. It's right here. Sorry about that." I told her that was absolutely unacceptable and take me off their list. Not only did they lose me as a repeat customer, they lost a $4600 Fall job as well. The lady I spoke with did not seem concerned in the least. It's simple lack of detail and follow through that will ruin any business. It's unfortunate because a few of my repeat guys were amazing and did a stellar job.
Terribly disappointed. Lawn Wranglers was recommended by Meurer Brothers and since I've had great luck with Meurer Brothers I gave them a call. Spoke with Mark on Aug 23rd regarding having a tree sprayed for bag worms. We were told they would be out the following week to spray and would call the day before so we could move vehicles out of the way. Called back on Sept 6th and left a message regarding the service. It's now Sept 12 and no one had returned our call. My husband proceeded to call again today and spoke with Mark, only to be TOLD that the guy who did the spraying left to go to another company. The professional thing to do would have been to call us right away. Had we not continued to call we might never have known and now we've wasted another 3 weeks. And to make matters worse they recommend a company located north of St. Clair County and when you call this company they say they won't travel tbis far south. Sorry Lawn Wranglers, you wont get our business or any recommendation.
Struggle with attention to detail. Multiple different teams were cutting my grass...each performed differently. One week the yard is cut too low, another it's not fully cut (areas missed), trimming is either high or low. Used equipment I specifically requested not to use. Just too hard to feel comfortable with their service. I've tried to call for two weeks leaving messages and can't get a return call. Three stars is generous.

They were fine for a year until I moved and had an issue with their service at my house rental damaged my fence with their equipment and then ignored repeated phone calls from me and my property manager and ignored us/hid from resolving the matter. Would have pursued legal action if I was still in the area.
Service was very overpriced for the quality of work. Paid for spring cleanup and it turned into just leaf blowing with an exorbitant bill. None of the invoices were itemized outlining what I was being charged for or the amount of hours. Called to inquire and never got a call back and all other calls ignored. I would NOT recommend this company.

Had them for years and they slowly went downhill. Last year they had a guy doing yards and he went to my neighbors house and treated his yard instead of mine. Then when actually treating my yard, he sprayed a bush and killed the backside of it. The owner said hed replace it if it didnt come back. It hasnt come back. The back of it is still all dead. Now the owner wont respond to my messages. He said hed call over a week ago and hasnt and now reads my messages but wont respond. I do not recommend them.
I would not recommend this company based on their lack of customer service. I called last week and spoke with a gentleman about having our grass cut once because our lawn mower had broke. He scheduled me for the following week, no big deal. The day comes, no one showed up or called me. I called them and he told me that they were behind and asked again do you think you are going to just need one time? I said I m not sure but I do need someone to come this week like planned because my grass is getting long. He then told me he would have someone come out on Wednesday or Thursday of this week. No one again, so my husband calls the company and he told him that they are just too busy. So basically, if he is not having repeat business from you. You are not worth his time!
This is our second year using Lawn Wranglers for vacation mowing. They saved us when we were in a pinch last year when another company bailed last minute. Great job overall and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to use.

This company reschedule me 3 times and once I got a date. I had titook time off work. The company never showed up. I called,called and called. Finally I was told sorry and we could tell you when we will be there. This is not a professional company. you should look elsewhere.
