Penny Hill Lawn & Landscape in Bellefonte

This year I had to deal with flooding caused by a retention pond that drains into my creek. New Castle County had a sub contractor "Penny Hill Lawn & Landscape" come out help with the problem PHL&L had two men set stones in the creek. They worked for a week carrying down a slope and hand setting them so the water would not destroy the creek bank. With the two major storms their system worked perfectly. Hat's off to these fine gentlemen. My second encounter was a snow plowing contract for 2023/2024. Chris set Kingston Acres Civic Association up with a very good contract. Very easy to deal with. This past Friday one of their trucks with a great driver named Steve showed up. He had never been on our street and a came down the street very slowly . I met him and we talked about how he wanted to do it. Again professionalism showed with him and PHL&L . I will continue to use them for all my and the civic associations needs. NHM

Total disappointment. They were initially very responsive but ultimately never provided a quote. When I called and left a message asking for an update, they never even bothered to call me back.

If I could I’d give this company, at the minimum, 10 stars. They were so much more than I expected. They were so professional and respectful. I had an idea I made the right decision to get them to do the work I needed done when I talked with Linda in the office. She really worked with me and got the everything done in an expedited way. I would recommend them to my friends and family. They I understand that some lawns need special attention for it to thrive. I really appreciate the special attention they have to my lawn which I appreciate greatly. I cannot thank them enough for the special attention they have given to my lawn.

I called Penny Hill with only a few weeks notice asking for an overall clean up of my yard. We recently decided to get married at our home in light of COVID-19, so needed things to look picture perfect and they delivered! The estimator, scheduler, and crew were all very friendly and professional. Our yard looks great! I even called and asked if they could do a few more things that I didn't originally ask for and they came back same day! Great customer service and a great price to boot. Highly recommend!!

As you can see, there are quite a number of trees on my property. Yes, beautiful to look at, but it makes fall clean-up a nightmare! Penny Hill did a great job taking care of the mess & did an equally nice job on the grass cut. Their staff was friendly, professional and helpful through the entire process. I would certainly recommend them for your lawn and landscaping needs!
