Sadly, I would not recommend. Poor communication. I rang for a quote, Herbie said hed be out sometime over the week (he didnt specify a day but I respected that he might be busy so I accommodated his schedule). I changed my plans that week so that I would be in the house all week. He didnt show or attempt to contact me. It doesnt take much to send a text to say you can no longer make a job or that you got held up in a previous job. To this date he has still made no effort to contact.

Rang over a week ago to have our small back and front garden tidied - Belfast South. Arrived shortly after I rang to say it won t be done today and said he would call later in the week. Later in the week - no show. My wife then sent a chaser message to be advised today - guess what, no show. Unless your job is worth a fair bit, Herbie simply isn t interested. Best avoiding.

I have large mature hedges around my property which I had not attended to this year. The guys arrived this morning and got on with the job straight away. They did fantastic work on the hedges and cut them back as I had asked. They cleared all the trimmings and left the place looking very clean and tidy. Herbie said he would phone me back in an hour with a quote.... he didnt bother, I rang him 3 days later and he gave me a rediculous quote. I have since got another gardener at a fraction of the cost.

Herbie and his team did a very cost effective and beautiful job with my front garden. My front garden was an overgrown weedy mess with multiple out of control shrubs and bushes. They stripped it all out, removed some unwanted shrubs and tapered back the ones that we wanted to keep. They then leveled the ground, put down a weed membrane and covered with decorative pebbles, all in the space of 4 hours. Herbie organised all materials (including skip) and left the place looking great with no mess and all at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Belmont Garden Services and will be using them in the future for garden maintenance and upkeep.

Very pleased with Belmont Garden Services. Herbie came out within 24h of my quote request and completed the work a couple of days later. We needed a few shrub roots dug out, grass weeds sprayed and a tall hedge cut. They did a very neat job, took everything away and were very polite and friendly. I would recommend them and use again.

Got a prompt quote from Herbie for cutting back of a very overgrown garden. He came within a couple of weeks and did an excellent job. I had arranged for Herbie to do my hedges back in October however with each week he didnt bother to show up and it was up to me to chase him. After several promises to get it done he kept not showing. After yet another failed attempt to get it done I have had to look elsewhere for someone more reliable. Not a great way to run a business, manage peoples expectations to avoid letting them down for 3 months.

Had contacted Belmont Garden Service only 2 weeks ago. Herbie came the very next day to take a look at our garden. We needed a lot of shrubs pruned, some to be replaced and new bark everywhere. He recommended the shrubs that would work best to replace the old ones and even brought bulk bark so we didnt have to go and buy it all in bags. They came back this morning on time when they said they would and done a great job. Left everything so tidy. Garden looks great and all the plants and scrubs look so much better. Great service. I used Belmont Garden Services to put hedging and planting in my front lawn. Having compared a number of providers, Herbie at Belmont proved to be one of the more price competitive as well as offering very helpful and knowledgeable advice and so I opted for him. I am glad i did. The work was completed at the agreed date, very efficiently, neatly and to a very high standard. I have no problem recommending Belmont and will use again for future work.

Might be a good gardener but I wouldn t know as he tried to quote me 400 quid just to cut my grass (small lawn) and do a bit of a general tidy up. Seems like a bit of a rip off. Got someone else to do a great job for 100!

I recently used Belmont for the supply of hedging plants, cutting back of an old hedge and planting the new plants. Herbie responded really quickly to my text inquiry, came round the next day to see the garden, told us exactly what the work would cost and gave us a written docket. He then came back early the next week to do the work, having sourced the plants required. The amount charged seemed reasonable and was exactly what he had quoted. We were pleased with both the work and the standard of service, and are already planning on using him again for other work in our garden.
