December 2024 update: We used Creekscape Design again for another project and continue to be pleased with the work Juan and his team do. They not only do a great job delivering on the design, they start when they say they will and they wrap up when they say they will. It seems hard to find companies who can do that these days. And they are kind and friendly and patient with all of my questions! We still highly recommend working with this team. ---- We are very happy with the hardscaping work Juan and his team did for us recently! I literally look out into our backyard every day and am thrilled with the results. We were in desperate need of better grading, drainage, and mud management with our two dogs. The biggest issue was that our grass had stopped growing, despite our best efforts. The lack of sun/increased shade throughout the year, the rain of course, and eight paws running through the yard left our backyard a large mudpit. And because the grass stopped growing, the ground had hardened, forcing even more water to run towards our house, flooding our garage. Juan was amazing - he listened to all of our needs and recommended pavers and artificial grass along with fixing the grading and drainage. His team was incredibly punctual and professional - and thoughtful! For example, ensuring our temporary fencing was replaced each night to keep the dogs in and helping us move our trash cans on trash day. Above and beyond. I had interviewed two other companies - one would only give me a quote for design work (and in the quote literally reiterated the requirements I had given them - no indication of what the solution might be) and the other quote seemed high and was hard to envision. We really loved working with Juan - he is very professional and down-to-earth. You can tell he really cares about each project. With Creekscape, there were no design fees which I greatly appreciated. When the project was complete, I could envision the family gatherings we will have here now. And after several weeks of rain, I can happily report I havent had to clean one muddy paw! And there is no sign of water in our garage. Grateful for the Creekscape team. Definitely would recommend!

Juan is such a pleasure to work with, as is Jose, who did our concrete work. Juan is such a professional, and his passion for plants is infectious. Our entire project met his minimum time frame, was done professionaly and the guys went out of their way to help us in every way they could. I high recomment Creekscape to any- and everyone.

You wont find a company more knowledgeable or passionate about what they do. We were just looking for a retaining wall for our front yard, but then Juan designed a whole new front yard for us when we found out we were both mutually interested in native plants! Juan is very quick to reply to emails (like same day), is detailed oriented, and really knows his stuff. His crews work is impeccable. They were incredibly efficient, organized, and left nothing no trace that they were there when they were done. Were thrilled with the results as are the bees and hopefully the butterflies next spring. Juan said we could probably even get certified as a native yard. Even after the project was completed this past summer, Juan continues to be receptive and available to us for questions (via email) as we get to know our new yard and its native inhabitants.

Juan and his team did a nice job transforming our backyard landscape. We had specific plant preferences, and Juan was patient in accommodating our requirements. The crew was hardworking and delightful to converse with throughout the project. Our yard has been beautifully enhanced with new slabs, and were eagerly anticipating the growth of the newly planted trees.

Juan and the folks at Creekscape were incredibly professional. Our neighbor even came over to tell us that she really appreciated both how hard the crew worked and also how respectful they were as they worked on our multi-day project. We wasted so much time and money before finding Creekscape. Juan instantly knew which plants would work best for our property and his suggestions were spot-on regarding drainage and native plants. I feel incredibly blessed to have finally found someone we can trust for our landscape needs!

I contacted Creekscape Design to install a paver patio and pathway in the front of my home. Juan and Carlos were very responsive and showed up exactly as promised to review the site and provide an estimate. Making the agreement to proceed and schedule the start of the job went quickly and smoothly. Once the work began, I was very impressed by the skill and attention to detail of Raul and Samuel, the fellows who handled the job. They were both very pleasant to work with and were attentive to answering any questions I had, and to patiently explaining any points of decision that were needed. I am very happy with the completed work and have received many positive comments from neighbors and people just passing by and stopping to admire. I would definitely use Creekscape again and highly recommend them for any landscaping project.

Started and ended project on time. Left the area clean every night. Very responsive to questions or concerns. Highly recommend and would use them again ourselves.

Be sure to study the plant list. We made a mistake and did not. That is our fault after we discover that we did not like some of the plants. They built some beautiful welded steel beds, and brought some very nice boulders. That work was very good. Our problem was the quality the actual planting. We had over 30 plants put in the ground with more than half the root ball exposed. We were looking for a little interest in customer service so Juan refunded some of the labor charge for the planting. Thank you

Working with Juan and Creekscape Design, LLC was a true pleasure! Juan fit us into his busy schedule and when we were told by a stone company that materials wouldnt be available for months, Juan gave me the name of the company he uses and we were able to get our stone in a week! His crew were the nicest, warmest, most pleasant folks and they did a fabulous job with our round Jamestown stone design. They had to build and cut multiple cobblestones to fit the circle around our already existing outdoor fireplace, and they did a beautiful job (and so quickly!). And when we needed to add onto the job, Juan said no problem! and they seamlessly added what we needed. This is a stellar company and I highly recommend them!

Mr. Gutierrez and his crew just completed work on a retaining wall for us. They finished ahead of schedule and did a great job. Juan stated the company would provide a 1 year warranty for all planted shrubs with the purchase and use of a drip system. I contacted Juan about replacing one of the shrubs and he responded several days later that he would not honor the warranty despite the drip system being used and the rest of the shrubs being healthy.

Juan and his team are just outstanding! They have transformed our backyard from just a patch of grass to a beautiful garden with stone pathways, a custom concrete and steel water fountain, a sitting wall, and fire pit. In the front yard, they created a fantastic sitting area surrounded by plantings that allows us to enjoy the sunset and meet our neighbors. Juan is a landscape designer with an artists eye. He is a joy to work with throughout the whole process. He and and his team do great work for a great price that you will be delighted with.

We worked with Creekscape for 2 projects. When we bought our house they gave us a blank canvas for our backyard and removed 2 large aggressive Quince. They also rebuilt our front steps and created a new retaining wall. Juan and his team transformed our property. We were thrilled with the results and continue to receive compliments. We had them fence in out backyard & they did a great job with that too. We love the creative solution for incorporating the Giant Sequoia into the fence. We would definitely use Creekscape for any future landscaping projects.

Creekside did a great job! We hired them to install all landscaping at a new house. They worked with our ideas and were flexible when some of our plans changed.
