I had 7 yds. of mulch delivered and installed at my home. The entire crew sent to my house was fantastic. They were all hard working and even did a little tree root pruning so that mulch could be placed a the base of the tree. I will be using their service in the future.

Great place to get triple ground much. Staff is great. They are very careful loading mulch into my little nissan frontier truck with a 6 ft bed. Prices are fair for a bulk product loaded into my truck.
Staff is friendly when ordering, my delivery date was on a day with steady rain fall, I called concerned and the staff was understanding and switched my delivery date, so I wouldn’t have a muddy mess in my driveway. Good quality top soil and quality mulch. I’m a happy customer!!

Lupe who answered my call was able to help me with rates and I had them deliver 3 yards of garden mix on my driveway on the same day. The driver John ringed my doorbell letting me know that he was dropping off the load so that I I can watch him unload the mix carefully on the designated area I wanted. The pricing for the garden mix was $37 which was cheaper than other businesses around my area. And the delivery was $50 which was cheaper than others as well. Overall, it was super easy and pleasant experience. I will definitely order from them again. Below is the list of other rates from Lupe. Mulch: $27 per yard, Topsoil: $34 per yard, Compost: $27 per yard.

If you have tree stumps laying around, this is where to go! They will take logs, stumps, and any other wood and grind into mulch. They also sell mulch. By the cubic yard.

Great wood and easy to pick up if you live in the area. I haven t found many places that will sell less than a 1/2 cord (which can be hard to store ). Being able to get 1/4 cord is perfect. You can easily fit 1/4 cord in the trunk of you car. They will even load it in your car for you. THANK YOU Down To Earth
I have used Down to Earth Landscaping for a few years now, mostly with annual mulch but this year I also asked them to do Spring Clean up and snow removal. The team is amazing, and does a great job. I had asked for mulch with the Spring Clean up, and they politely suggested that I didnt need it, other companies would have seen $ and added more mulch. Down to Earth does a great job from quotes to service to billing, I have never had an issue and would recommend them to anyone in the area.
Down to Earth both delivered and installed mulch for my property. They were efficient and professional. My property looks great after thier work! I will be considering them for additional landscaping jobs.
Very courteous folks. Liz was great on the phone, asking all the right questions and following up on day of delivery. John, the driver, worked with me to place the compost exactly where I wanted it. This is our second year of using the organic compost and we are big fans. Garden is great.

Buyer Beware: Rude and pathetic customer service! Product itself is ok. This was my experience: They promised to deliver Friday afternoon but I did not see anyone till late evening. There was NO communication that theres a delivery issue. Around 7pm on Friday, I wrote an email asking Where is my mulch??. To their credit, I did get a response from a person named Lupe around 11 pm saying It will be delivered early tomorrow morning. Saturday morning till around 10 AM there is NO mulch delivery, so I give them a call and ask the status. Instead of any apologies, I got put on a LONG hold and then a barrage of questions, including Who are you? Who promised you delivery today? The person, (Liz??) who claimed to be a manager and dispatcher, admitted that they DID NOT KNOW THAT THE DELIVERY DID NOT HAPPEN YESTERDAY. So, what exactly is that role?? When I tell Liz that I have an email from Lupe, Liz tried calling Lupe and apparently Lupe promptly left for her long weekend holiday. When I ask to be given a discount due to this inconvenience, Liz ( manager) flat out refused, saying there is no discount due to human error. Really?? Also, its as if Liz was daring me to cancel my order...! Finally, the delivery did arrive a couple of hours later on Saturday afternoon and the mulch looks ok, BUT BOY Id think twice before dealing with this shop again!!

Very happy with the results. Had them deliver and lay down about 20 yards of mulch. Mulch was of high quality and great color. They did a great job and were in and out in about 2 hours. Lupe in the office was great and easy to deal with. Highly recommend!
Weve had dirt and mulch delivered a few different times. They answered all my questions about their products when I called and fit in our delivery ASAP. John, delivery driver, is a nice guy too.

From the moment I called to inquire about mulching our yard I had a wonderful experience. I spoke to Lupe who promptly answered all of my questions by phone, texts and email. When Carlos first came out to give me an estimate for the mulch, I was so impressed with him, we also decided to hire him to do a number of other things in our yard. We discussed drainage problems and he recommended putting in stones in certain areas. The team dug up old dead bushes, replaced some with what I requested, trimmed all of our bushes and trees and made my yard look better that it has in a very long time. I had previously used a different landscaping service and the difference of Down to Earths work was literally night and day. Very professional and did a great job!
There was an error in our delivery date, but Ryan took care of the situation. He was extremely responsive, professional and made the situation more than just OK. I highly recommend Down to Earth Landscaping.

Horrible. They came out for an estimate, we discussed what we wanted done. When I called the office to say certain parts of the yard werent done, they initially said it was too wet to do anymore. I asked to talk to the guy who came out for the estimate as to why part of the yard wasnt done and he said thats not what we talked about. Normally I would chalk this up to a misunderstanding somewhere, maybe a language barrier as I dont think English was his first language, however, instead of discussing this like a normal person he starts screaming, truly screaming at me that hes not going to do anymore service and to find someone else. Really?? I said this is how you speak to a customer because Im questioning why the work wasnt done? He wouldnt stop screaming so I hung up. This man has a horrible temper that erupted because I disagreed with what we had talked about....scary behavior really....
I think they are just using a fake address I called today to make an appointment at Barrington and they emailed me back that they don t service my area
