I had Alex recommended by a friend. I needed two things done on a house I bought about a year ago and knew nothing about: troubleshooting/revamping old irrigation non working system and putting in a drain system to carry the water away from flooding my garage in a corner. He got back to me right away and showed up when he said he would. He did a fantastic job on both projects and was very knowledgeable. Gave me a lot of relief to have them done. He was a reasonable price. I recommend him highly and will definitely use him in the future.

Alex and his crew did some concrete work to extend my driveway and add some curbs. They were quick, clean and reasonably priced. I am so happy with my new cement!

Thanks to Torres Landscaping I have a lovely patio extension rather than a patchwork walkway intended to cover up the worn areas of lawn left bare by dogs, rain and too much shade. From initial estimate, which included some creative discussion and vision, to final clean up, Alex and his crew were professional and respectful of me, my time and my property. I contacted Torres Landscaping on the recommendation of a friend. Alex, the owner, and I sat on my patio while I shared my ideas for the redesign of my backyard. I had had a waterfall and pond removed due to it being too high-maintenance. I was starting fresh with a blank canvas. I felt like Alex resonated right away with my design ideas for a tranquil zen-garden look. Being an artist can be challenging because many choices can be appealing to me. Alex was open to the journey. He and his crew were very organized and efficient. I appreciated their attention to detail. They completed the job in a timely manner. My new outdoor living space is perfect. I will be hiring Torres Landscaping again for other upcoming projects.

Outstanding job from concept to post completion follow up. Alex and his crew took on a complicated landscaping, driveway, and patio rebuild and nailed it. From the first meeting, Alex had a clear vision how to turn a mostly dead traditional landscape with massive dead trees, badly cracked century old concrete, weeds, and dead roots and corroded pipes into a multilayered Southern Mediterranean xeriscape, while still preserving some of the good existing plants and features. Great job.

Work was great and done super fast. Best prices in Bakersfield. Alex showed up on time and was very personal. Alex returned all my calls and always made sure to keep me updated on everything with the project. Would highly recommend.

All I can say is WOW!! Alex and his team turned a brown bark covered area into a real beauty. Below are some before and after photos. They were here when they said they would be and completed the job in 3 days. If we decide to do the back yard we will call Torres Landscaping again.

Alex and his team did a great job getting our backyard put together along with adding concrete to the side of our home down to the sidewalk in front. Our home is a new construction/standard dirt backyard and full of weeds after all this rain. They cleared it out, poured concrete, installed curbing, sprinklers, drip lines, gravel, playground bark and laid sod. Turned out just how we wanted it.
