Completely wasted my time telling me that large trucks cant navigate my driveway (so theres no solution to this? I can have no work done on my landscape, ever, at all?) and that he wont touch my project because it might cause a water issue due to my granite fieldstone foundation. Water issues are one of the reasons Im talking to a landscaper who can deal with drainage! I explained this to him but he didnt seem to care. He said he will pass and just started walking back to his truck. Seriously was a frustrating waste of even 5 minutes and a very awkward meeting.

Sydney and his crew did a remarkable job excavating, clearing, applying loam, and hydroseed to a wooded area in the back of my property. It is so difficult these days to find a company that takes pride in doing the job right, with customer satisfaction being the highest priority. Sydney excels at providing true customer service. He and his team went above and beyond to make me happy. Several times they did extra things that I never expected. They worked very hard and efficiently. My husband and I are so pleased with their work and work ethic. Sydney Landscaping Services provides work of the utmost quality and I would highly recommend them. Its now two years later, and we hired Sydneys crew to come and do clean up, dethatching, edging, lay bark mulch, and do some reseeding. Once again, we are amazed with the professional job done by these men. They worked hard, didnt waste time, and were very focused on quality work and making us happy. For example, we were told the job would be completed in one day and when late afternoon came, Sidney brought extra men in to be sure that this job was completed as promised. The men stayed until 7pm so that this job would be completed as promised. Customer service such as this is so difficult to find these days. Sydneys crew spent 12 hours here, took one break and never complained. Seldom do I see this type of commitment. Our yard looks fantastic, thanks to Sydney and crew! Please consider them if you need landscaping/yard work-- you will be happy you did so.

Syndneys amazing crew took an overgrown neglected landscape and turned it into a show place in 2 days. They were hard working, talented, creative, and a pleasure to work with. Nothing was overlooked to make my yard a very special place and I really appreciated both the suggestions for change and their willingness to use my ideas as well. I cant say enough positive things and they well deserve their five star ratings. Services performed were spring clean up and mulch.

Sidney and his crew from Ayer are the landscapers you want for your job. Dont get ripped off by overpriced landscapers in Acton, Littleton, Westford, or Chelmsford. I had several jobs handled by Sidney: A major drainage/excavation job (that wound up being a LOT more time consuming than either I or Sidney had thought) Redoing of a small brick patio Construction of two small landing steps/stairs at the back of my home Sidneys initial price quote to me for all the work was very reasonable, compared to other quotes Id gotten. When you have him do multiple tasks, he is willing to give you bundle pricing essentially, giving you discounts on work since his crew is already onsite. So definitely let him know other things you may be thinking about doing - youll definitely save money by doing it all at once with him. His crew are all friendly, and most importantly they all speak english. You wont be frustrated by inability to ask simple questions or clarifications to the crew, like you would some other companies. What was most impressive to me, however, was that despite Sidney encountering major difficulties/setbacks with the amount of water we found trapped in the ground, and pathing issues for the underground piping, he did not charge me a cent more than he initially quoted me. He and his crew were here for far longer than anyone thought at first, but he didnt charge me extra for the additional time needed beyond the initial estimate. Hes a very good dude that takes pride in his work and doing right by the customer, even when it winds up impacting the end bottom line of a project. He also does not nickel and dime you. His crew wound up doing a couple small other tasks that were not explicitly mentioned in the contract/quote, but were easy enough for him and crew to do that they just did it while they were doing existing work, and again did not charge for it. You want to hire Sidney and his guys, no question - they are the landscapers youve been looking for. I rarely take the time to leave positive reviews for companies from the trades, because I usually am able to find fault with work done, but I cant believe the quality and value I got from Sidneys landscaping. Im definitely going to recommend him to family and use him for some more work in a few years.

Did an amazing job building a new retaining wall and sprucing up the area after a new driveway was paved by another group. Very responsive and quick to get the job done. Would recommend.

I highly recommend Sidney Landscaping Services. They replaced our very poorly installed front walkway/steps leading to a driveway with beautiful granite steps and pavers, as well as multiple pathways in the backyard. The crew was very hard working, professional, efficient, and skillful. Work areas were cleaned daily. Many extra things were done that we were not expecting such as, power washing our front steps or every area that was slightly touched by the machines was replaced with new sod and grass seeds. Communication has been great from day one. We got the quote right away and were given a discount for bundled projects. I will definitely do more landscaping projects in the future and will only use their services. We are in awe!

I hired Sidney Landscapjng to install a trench drain system and remodel the 30 years old walkway. Sidney is nice and willing to provide his advice on the projects. Their team is also nice and flexible with schedule. In addition, they cleaned the entire area and covered the washed area with salt in case of freezing point. What a caring team!

George & the rest of the crew are hard at work while I write this post (so I will update when finished, too). I am wicked satisfied with the professionalism and care theyre giving our yard; everything got too overwhelming for us and it was great they had time in the busy Spring schedule to help! They even allowed my youngest to use her own rake to attempt to help. Update: Day 2, all done! Check out the finished photos of the edging! They even left behind the bulb plants I asked for! We couldnt be happier with the work done by this company. Midway through our walkway project it became apparent that there was a massive channel of underground water which would have jeopardized the planned walk and wall. Sidney and his workers took this in stride, though, creating a French drain underneath our drive, with only minimal materials cost added to our estimate. The final product was on-schedule and turned out beautifully.

I contacted Sidney this year to do some work to our property. Our grounds had been neglected for a year and were in rough shape, with ragged hedges, weeds everywhere, leaves, and grass up above your knees. The young gentleman that came out to survey our property was very professional and pleasant to talk to. Within a couple of days I had a quote for the work in hand. They were neither expensive, nor cheap - the quote fell right about where I expected it to fall. I would say that it was a fairly priced quote. Once I told them that I would like to proceed with the work, they were onsite exactly one week later. A team of 6 showed up and quickly set about making things right again. They worked hard and fast. They did things that I did not expect them to do so I would say they went above and beyond. I asked them to be careful of our irrigation system to not cut any lines or sprinkler heads by accident and we had no issues with it when we started it up after the team left. We had Sidney: mow our lawn (nearly an acre of land in 3 main sections: front, side, and back lawns, and the back lawn had to be done with a push mower), prune a spruce tree, trim our several hedges, weed whack (we had old weeds from the prior year all entangled into our backyard fence), remove old mulch and weeds, re-edge the multiple mulch beds and install our new mulch (purchased elsewhere). They did all of this and then some. I apologize that I dont have the before pictures (they do) but trust me - it was bad. I do have the lovely AFTER pics though. If the hedges look a little rough, it is because of the total hack job that was done by someone else prior to Sidney. Sidney cleaned them up a lot. I will be a regular customer moving forward. The property looks GREAT and is a pleasure to see when I come home from a long hard day at work. Thank you Sidney and team!

All the way from beginning a quote to completion of the project Sidney was communicative and did everything he could to help us reach our goal for the project. We have a newly constructed house and interviewed several landscape services for the project. The project involved grading the front lawn, seeding, putting a retaining wall on the western side of the property, a wall behind the garage, hardscaping under the deck and walkway from the deck to a gazebo. We interviewed several landscaping companies and ended up hiring Sidney Landscaping Services and we could not been more satisfied. Sidney was able to help us from the beginning of the project including designing. He was able to provide us a 3D rendition of the project that we had in mind. He is very attentive, he accompanied us in picking the pavers for the project and is always able to help us with any questions along the way. When the project got underway, his people were very professional. The workmanship is excellent. They come in early in the morning and stayed late in the day. The project was finished in no time. The time during this whole project that made me realize that I picked the right people for the job was when the pavers for the future gazebo was placed a little off of where we originally wanted it to be (It was not Sidneys fault, the original location could not be used as it is where the septic tank would be). I pointed to him where we want the new location would be. They removed the pavers and replaced it in the new location. This meant an additional work of more than a day. It showed me a couple of things, that they care about our input even though it ended up costing them to finish the project. They will install the gazebo, plant the shrubs, flowers and trees at no additional cost. Bottom line I would hire them again if I have another landscaping project in the future. I will add photos in the future.

This past Summer Sidney Landscaping did an unbelievable back yard & pool side clean up that greatly enhanced our use of this space. Were just as impressed with the Fall Clean up completed on 11/14/2022 at our property. The crew were efficent and hard working ... an A+ job.

I needed a retaining wall installed fairly quickly and Sidney Landscaping was able to provide the job within 2 weeks. I was a bit skeptical, but the job exceeded my expectations. The wall is beautiful as is the brick walkway.

I would highly recommend Sydney s to people. Sydney is good at what he does. He gave me a fair price compared to other companies. He also went beyond what he had to to help me with taking extra plants out a big relief to me. He also took a tree down and didn t charge me. And helped me make my lawn look good and his crew did not have to. His main goal was to build me a retaining wall. I had a design in mind that was not as beautiful as his. My wall is circular it fits my area perfect. They also put fill in to make the ground level. It looks incredible. Sydney also helped me with where to put my fire pit. It was the best advice it saved so much room for other things. His crew were so kind and nice such nice people. They were helpful kind and very professional. If you are getting a retaining wall Sydney s is the way to go. I was so impressed with the focus and skill these guys have. My retaining wall is top notch. Sydney s also is putting sod down too. Sydney is a person who gets things down and he has a large crew. After I put my down payment down they started working two days after. That made my day. Because we can enjoy this over this summer. I will use them in the future again. I have pictures before the grass has been put in. I will post more when it is done.

Sidney did our backyard project two walls and stairs. He has very fair pricing. Tell him exactly what you want, I drew up some plans and they executed. They were prompt. We also added an extra drainage project during the job that has worked quite well. Since they put the entire drain system in, it has not stopped flowing(3 weeks)which shows how much water we have had. They also recognized during the project we needed two drains. We had a slight color issue but in the end the color looks great. It was not Sidneys fault, ended up being a name of the color we wanted did not match the look. We called the manufacturer to figure out what happened.

We asked Sidney to use the large rocks we had on our property, which were a challenging collection of sizes and shapes, to construct a stone wall.
