Aquila Landscaping Contractors in Avenel

Very disappointed with this company. I was referred to this company which I thought I can trust not the case. Here is my story. I contacted Aquila to re do my sod. So Greg the owner came to give me a price which was not cheap but ok. He removed my sod and never put too soil down first. When I did was being put down I was not home. When I returned home the sod was dead im many places. I called Greg to tell him and he called me back 2 days later to tell me that the farm he used told him the sod was not good. So a couple of days later he returned at this time I was home still never put too soil down and re did the sod I told him again some pieces look dead he stated give it two weeks to bond. As of today the grass is off from no soil being put down and the grass is dead in areas again. I water 2 times a day like I was told to do. I contacted Greg again 2 times he never called me back . Here are pics of the horrible job they did. Please be aware of this company. I would never recommend them to anyone.

The vast selection has something for everyone. I purchased a pretty grave cover and it was very reasonable. The elves (workers) are very helpful and friendly. Support your local businesses.

Will never use again. Either will my neighbor whose fence he damaged and promised to repair. Never done. Did not give me what he contracted to give . A number of expensive plants died and he said it was my fault. Said if I purchased the plants again he would plant them. Never happened, still waiting. A good contractor stands behind his work. Greg stands behind nothing. When people ask me if I know a good landscaper I quickly throw him under the bus. If I were him I would be ashamed of how he works and treats people.

Worst service ever. Not on time. They charged me for cutting the lawn 4 weeks. One week they didn't show up. I have a camera. I had vegetables missing from the garden. There mower broke my curb.

It is so rare to have such a good experience with a contractor. After searching a long time, I finally came across Aquila to help with a drainage problem. Responsive, down to earth, and got my job done ahead of schedule and for a reasonable price. He even fended off a neighbor who was being fully unreasonable about the work being done. I plan on using Aquila for any of the needs I have going forward.
