Wellspring Landscape Services in Austin

Wellspring provides quality lawn care with punctuality and responsiveness. I have used them for almost a year for a biweekly mow for my lawn. During the latest winter storm, a decent sized tree branch fell into the yard and was blocking my neighbors front door. Wellspring responded right away when I called, and they got the branch cleared out ahead of schedule. The only issue I have had was some confusion over the pricing in regard to this work, and Wellspring righted the wrong by giving me some credit towards my future lawn work. They cleared up all confusion by escalating the issue and giving me a call to talk about it.

So many great landscaping companies, DO NOT hire this one!!! I watched Wellspring Landscape Services workers blow leaves under and over my fence to clear out a customers yard. When we brought them over to show the issue, they denied it and refused to address their mess. They also cussed at me while I was explaining the how their laziness damaged our fence, and began filming my partner as he asked them to leave our property. What a circus. Edit: Sickened by the response - Particularly the insinuation that there was any sort of minority discrimination involved. Im a Hispanic woman who was being told by two men - in a very unfriendly way - that I didnt see what I saw. Also... funny how our fence is ONLY warped TOWARDS our yard, SOLELY on the side thats serviced by this company. Doesnt seem very natural to me, Kirk. The lies are just too many to count. You forgot to mention how they began recording AFTER refusing to leave our property when asked. Sad to know that not only were these rude men congratulated, but that theyre using literal lies as a basis to educate future employees.

Don t hire this company. They were supposed to do a diagnostic on my irrigation system and they turned everything off instead of setting the system to run properly. I was out of town and got back 2 weeks later to dead grass. They eventually took responsibility for turning it off, but didn t offer any solution or compensation. I was stuck dealing with it. Also, they broke my patio door by hitting it with something and the glass shattered, then they tried to say it was like that when they arrived. I also have a pool and asked that they not blow grass in it since it clogs the pump and filter. I repeatedly had to call my pool guy to come out to fix the issue after they mowed. Finally, I asked for my service to be paused while I figured out if I was going to find a new company. They still kept charging me and it s been over 6 months and still have not gotten a refund. They said it s on credit for me to use and I don t want to use them. They take zero responsibility for their faults and always blame it on someone or something else. Also, they contract out most the work they do.

We are using Wellspring for our tenant property and have relied on Augustine to estimate and schedule our one-off and regular lawn maintenance services. We now live pretty far away so I appreciate that Augustine will communicate via text message or call and that I can depend on him to give me an accurate picture of the work that needs done to maintain our property when we can t see it ourselves.

I spoke with GG, she has excellent customer service skills and was very informative. Although, I m not in the service area she took the time out and offered solutions.

I received two invoices much higher than normal. I called and talked to Lee in the office and she explained that each of the invoices were for repairs to the lawn irrigation system. I commented that this was much higher than I was expecting and I was disappointed that it was so high. A few minutes later Lee called me back and said that she had performed some investigating on her own and had found that I had been double billed. She then explained that the appropriate credit would be placed in my account. Lee did this on her own. I had no idea that she was checking the charges and she made sure that I was treated fairly. This is the way to earn loyal customers and I am one of them.

EDIT 2: After just another 4 months of using Wellspring after giving them another chance and I am going back to my original 1-star review and will NEVER use them again. After days of not receiving service with no communication, I reached out to see what was going on. Leigh told me that my service was delayed a day due to the holiday, which was fine. The next day, nothing. So I reached out again and Leigh told me that they couldn t make it and would definitely be there tomorrow. Well guess what? It s tomorrow and there has been no communication and no one has shown up. I m done and will be looking for a more consistent service with better communication. EDIT: They reached out after this review and asked to fix the issue. Within a couple of days (it was the weekend) I had a new quote and they came out and performed the services within a few days of that. The cleanup/landscaping work they did was all good - no complaints there. The tree-trimming they did was ok, except Im not sure they have much experience with fruit trees as they did not trim any of the new growth or tall branches on the peach trees, just pruned it for canopy. ORIGINAL REVIEW I ve been using Wellspring for about a year now. Their regular, basic lawn service is reliable and affordable, and the quality is fine. However, I would not recommend any additional services. I requested landscape cleanup and tree trimming services from them. It took them weeks to even send someone out to be able to provide an estimate. Then after they finally came out, they kept saying the would provide an estimate tomorrow but never did. I finally told them to forget about it, and Daisy sent back a kind of snotty reply. It seems clear that they are simply another Austin lawn and landscape company that has more business than they can handle and aren t interested in growing any more.

Weve been using Wellspring Landscape Services for a few months for lawn care. They are a fantastic, responsive service company with excellent communication. After the week of unprecedented cold & snow, many of our plants needed pruning, and our yard needed clean up. We reached out to Wellspring for help, and I couldnt be happier! The process started with Dixies thorough assessment of every plant on our property. She came out to the house, walked the property, and provided education and recommendations for getting our landscaping looking healthy again and ready for spring! We were promptly added to the schedule and, on the day of the job, David and Travis showed up right on time, worked hard, and left the yard and landscaping looking great! Highly recommended!

Ive used Wellspring for 10 years. Consistently pleased with their service and responsiveness. The crew of Brian, Tyler and Mark were on site this past Saturday to clean up all the dead plants from our terrible winter. Friendly. Knowledgeable and responsive. Great crew!

I requested a quote for removal of dead shrubs and clean up of flowerbeds in July. They were timely in coming out to assess my yard. They told me that it would be a couple of weeks and they would email my estimate to me. It is now the end of September and still do not have a quote. I have called numerous times to follow up since July. Every time I call I am told they will text or remind the person working on the quote and that I should have it soon.

If you have searched for new full service lawn care service lately you know the struggle! Wellspring was quick to respond with an initial yard clean up the following week after sign up. Dixie was a dream to work with and even did a walkthrough the morning of first service initial clean up with the team and her notes making certain they knew exactly what the expectations were. That kind of detail sets any business up for success! And what a thorough clean up, mowing, trimming, pick up, and blowing it was!! Joe and his crew went the extra mile to make sure they left the property looking immaculate. If you are looking for full service lawn care I highly recommend you give Wellspring a call.

When Greener Pastures sold (who were excellent communicators and punctual - I miss them) Wellspring took over their clientele. The communication with Wellspring was poor and the billing and notice of services was inconsistent. I reached out to customer service to shed light on the issues and cancel my service and the CS representative did not even attempt to acknowledge the errors that were made. On a positive note, the Wellspring crew does excellent work on landscaping and pruning. I wish the communication and billing had been better but alas this company did not meet my expectations.

They were great in the beginning but towards the end they kept breaking and cutting my light lines. One stepped on my gravel completely smashing it and I never heard anything from them informing me they did that. I had to find out via my ring doorbell camera I will say the owner is super nice and helpful. He went out of his way to grab me a new extension cord since they cut my original

Simply beyond excellent! Chris, the crew chief, always checks in with me when they arrive. Together we discuss what needs to be done beyond mowing -- specifically, which of the multiple planting beds needs attention. This is truly inspired customer service, and I couldnt ask for anything better.

I selfishly hesitate to give this review because it might mean Wellspring gets busier and there might be more of a wait for their services, but they ve been nothing but awesome since they started taking care of my lawn, so they deserve it.

We had Robert and Moses at our house for about 8 hours to trim and clean up our plant beds and an area behind our house. They were amazing! We had a list of things and I thought it would only take about 3 hours. I underestimated the amount of work we needed done. They stayed well beyond the 3 hours I requested. They worked until there wasnt much daylight left. They went above and beyond for us. Robert and Moses, thank you!! We appreciate you!

Well Springs came out to clear, spray concentrated vinegar in an area, lay down weed control fabric, and spread pea gravel over the area. They planted about 6 small trees and mulched some trees as well. On time, hard working, cleaned up afterwards, and knowledgable about the work I needed. I was pleased with a past job and I am happy with what they did today. Excellent.

Been using these guys for a few years now. Very good work, even had two neighbors start using them because my yard looked so good. In the winter, they will hire out their guys to do odd jobs for you at a discounted rate. Owner and his operations manager are very good at communicating and will meet you at your house to go over any special requests you have. Highly recommend them.

Wellspring did an excellent job of cleaning up a very neglected front and side yards of our house. They were prompt with coming out to give an estimate, scheduling a service time, and showing up on time. We have been using their service for a couple weeks, their guys are here promptly like clock work as scheduled. Everything is taken care of beautifully. Our back yard is on a hill and a challenge to mowe but that didn t stop them. I ve also spoken to their office staff and had a very pleasant interaction. I ve had landscaping companies fail me before with no shows, no notice, terrible customer service so I am extremely happy to that I found this company. Worth every penny.

Wellspring is a great company to work with. We have a large yard that does not need to be mowed a lot. We have a schedule with Wellspring, but they have always been accommodating and easy to work with when we have not needed service. They are thorough in the mowing and edging. They have also done good work cleaning up our yard (like after freezes). I am comfortable with the communication with the main office, if any issues did arise.

I began using Wellspring at the recommendation of a friend last year after hit or miss service with another company. The service and responsiveness has been exceptional and the pricing is very reasonable. I also like that I can pay by credit card and not have to worry about having cash around. I have 3 large trees in my front yard and when it came to doing leaf clean up, the team was excellent, in addition to their regular mowing services.

I requested an estimate with Wellspring based on the positive feedback Id read online. I originally requested the estimate early Monday morning explaining I need mowing & small brush pickup by the weekend. I was told they would call or email me with estimate shortly. After not hearing from them by Wed, I called back to follow up and was told they must have had a wrong phone number and email address on file. Ok, that happens (even though we confirmed my contact info over the phone). David finally calls me later Wed afternoon where I explain again the service I need for a property I recently moved out of...he advises hell be out to the house and will contact me with an estimate, which was basically the same conversation I had on Mon. Friday rolls around...no call. I had to follow up AGAIN for my estimate and was told they plan on being out there to check the property same day. Come 3 pm on Friday, I finally receive my estimate with several items tacked on that I did not request over the phone. My estimate drops from $650 to $466. After being advised its $40 for the mow, the rest is pickup and hauling, I request the mow, as its at least SOMETHING I can get done before the weekend. Nope, cant do that either, as the excuse provided was they use commercial mowers and the leaves will leave a mess if not picked up and hauled off first. So from Mon morning to Friday afternoon I have nothing done and now have to ask a friend to help last minute, as I no longer live in the area. Im sure Wellspring does a great job once the job begins, but the service I received and time it took just to get an estimate was nowhere near what was advertised on their website.
