Scheduled a mow service and I was home all day and got an email saying the job was completed. No one mowed my yard, they billed my credit card. No answer to their phone, I left voicemails giving them the opportunity to resolve the problem and no one responded. I had to dispute the charge on my credit card. I will never use them again.
I've used UMOW for years, and always appreciated the great service - especially the personal customer service. We moved to a smaller house/yard recently and I thought we wouldn't need them anymore, but I got a little behind on maintenance, and viola'! UMOW was there for us to pick up on the jobs we fell behind on. Always reliable, good value, great responsive customer service.
The lawn looked terrible, so I decided to use UMOW. I measured my lawn via a website I found and used this info to select Large on the umow website. I schedule the service and was told the lawn would be mowed within 3-4 days. Well….no one showed up so I sent an email a few days later. A lawn person showed up immediately ( I don’t know if that was a coincidence.) The mower did a very good job. Tips: don’t expect immediate service and mark any plants that you don’t want mowed by accident (my yard has natural areas so I can’t fault the mower.) I’d use UMOW again.
Used to be pretty good, but they've gone way downhill. I had to pester them over and over to get work done at my place, because -- no lie -- the landscaper they contracted to clean my gutter **didn't have a ladder** to do the job. I live in a one story ranch, and I've cleaned my own gutters with an 8 foot ladder. That was the start of the debacle; ten days later someone finally did the work I basically never post a negative review but they've earned it. Judging from recent reviews this seems to be a pattern too, and since their email replies are sporadic at best I'm going to post my honest feedback here. I scheduled service for Aug 30. When it wasn't completed by Sep 1, I sent an email. A day after that, with no service and no reply, I wrote back and stated I'd have to dispute the charges if there was no reply. I got a reply that UMOW would call the landscaper. A day later, no reply, so I email again. Then a day after that, finally a reply: "We've talked to the landscaper and said they don't have the ladder to do the job. " A) I live in a one story house, if he had any kind of ladder he could do the job and B) UMOW should have figured out the service didn't happen and done something about it. And then the icing on the cake: "We will do our best to finish it this week." After it had been six days already and I had to send multiple emails to get a single reply. I replied back, upset, and said that wasn't enough and asked what UMOW was going to do about it. I was offered a 10% refund (all of $9) which I accepted and was told the work would be done the next day (Monday) or Tuesday "with a big priority on Monday". Well Wednesday rolls around with no service, so I send another angry email. No reply, but today (Thursday) someone finally came out to the house. It took TEN DAYS and five emails from me to get this simple job done. After I prepaid for the service. A 10% refund after I had to ask for it and barely getting the work done is not good enough. I've used this service for years but I'm incredibly unhappy with it now and UMOW hasn't done nearly enough to make it right.
I saw on my neighborhood website site a lawn service that did not require a contract plus i got a discount. Cant get any better then that right? So i got to UMOW website and book my lawn service and they gave a range of days that they may be able to come. Within a few days I see the UMOW guys come to my home and take care of my lawn. they were punctual and cleaned and trimmed all that i had asked for and left things clean and tidy. I will definitely recommend to others and I will reuse them again.
I've always been doubtful to trust businesses, but with myself being so busy all the time l decided to give UMOW a try. I was so happy with their service. It was convenient and their app was very easy to navigate. The thing l loved the most was the price was so cheap. I definitely recommend everyone to give UMOW a try. Now my grandma won't get mad at me for not mowing her lawn.
I am fairly new to the Austin area, and I was looking for a lawn care provider in the area who would meet my needs. I was with my previous lawn care provider for a few years and never thought any company could provide better service or value. I was WRONG! UMOW exceeded my expectations by far. Their prices are very reasonable and their customer service is outstanding! The app download was fast and requesting service was super simple. I will definitely be using UMOW from now on for all of my lawn care needs!
I have always had issues with reliable lawn care for my house. I can't believe how UMOW makes lawn care cheap and easy! I downloaded their app and requested service came home from work and voila!! I am impressed by the convenience and quality of their lawn care service! I was also impressed by the high quality work they did mowing my lawn. They did not miss a single spot. Didnt show up for two weeks after scheduling a service, twice in a row. On the second time I tried to get another service to do the work and they wanted $200 just to clean up after these guys. Avoid Umow like the plague.

Although I was disappointed the last two times I used UMOW to mow my yard, I decided to give them one more chance. They came today and did a really nice job. I was very pleased.
SAVE YOURSELF! GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The only good thing is the website. These people no called-no showed on Monday. Then showed up the next morning and did the WRONG ADDRESS. When I finally got in contact with CS manager they ask me to PAY MORE for their mistake! Freaking atrocious business practice. Save yourself the headache and hire a better crew
This company is a middleman , they schedule the service and contract out, with zero care if the contracted landscaper can actually show. My advice is you are better off hiring a local landscaper or speak with the landscaper that shows up, and do business with them directly for a better and reliable service. I had UMOW sent different landscaper every time, and went they sent an inexperienced one they damaged my lawn. I had landscapers show, up to a week late from the service day, and then UMOW (which a lot of times don t ever reply and phone is never answered or returned) just kept repeating and telling me for a week they ll show up today . It happened a few times, and then decided to cancel. If you have dogs, HOA and/or keep your gate locked it s going to be a major inconvenience not knowing which day they ll actually show. Avoid yourself the headache and stress.

I have used UMOW to take care of my yard for a few years. Its incredibly simple to book an appt, and to schedule ongoing services. Im always kept up to date on the status of my service, the folks that have shown up have always done a great job on my yard - very clean, very fast. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely wanted to love this process, but couldn t be more disappointed, zero communication when they were delayed in getting to our home, then they only cut the front yard and didn t say anything to us, then I have left multiple email messages and voicemails over the week, and again, no response. We officially give up umow...

Booked 2 days ago for a move in mow. Grass had been allowed to grow without service for a few months. I was a bit skeptical. My request was confirmed quickly. They gave a three day service window. One day 2 provider showed up and got the job done in less than 20 min (small yard). Will definitely use again!

The crew was fast and thorough!! I m not sure if they cut the front yard, but it was short enough anyways that it didn t need it. My biggest concern was the back yard and they did an awesome job. They trimmed and cleaned up too!

The team showed up around 6:30 pm and had my yard mowed and trimmed quickly. The blew the grass, etc. off my patio and front porch leaving my yard looking nice.

Absolutely terrible! My fiancé hired Umow to cut our grass. I specifically requested them NOT to touch our bushes or bamboo. Well they not only cut our bamboo - they turned it into a bush. Now I have both. I have tried multiple times to reach them both by phone and by email. They don t take voice messages and no one has responded to me. I like to drive myself crazy so I will continue on with this hamster wheel of calling and expecting no response. Thanks Umow for ruining my bamboo, my week and my sanity.
Hired them at first as a one mow and done to see how they run their company and see how their quality of work is. 1st time was ok minus all the patio furniture being moved around and not put back and a stack of bricks all being knocked over and broken. 2nd time I requested...I waited all day and no one showed up, so I tried to reschedule and get on a subscription. 3rd time...again, no one showed up, so I tried to reschedule a 4th time. After a few back and forth emails. 4th time...I waited all day and again no one showed up to do the job...even after the service was pre-paid. This is no way to run a business. A paying customer expects to get the services they pay for. --------------------------- UPDATE- The mowers showed up the next day after posting this review. They did a pretty good job.
Had problems getting them to show up and would be billed even if someone didn t show up on more than one occasion. I wanted so bad for a service like this to work appropriately and automate lawn care, but this isn t it - unfortunately.

This is the easiest, pain free way to schedule lawn service. It can all be done online or through the app. You can pay with credit card. You get a good price for one and done and you dont have to set up an ongoing service or schedule. I contact them when my lawn needs mowed, rather than them showing up and mowing whether it needs it or not. The work is fast and top notch as well.

UMow was awesome! They were able to get to our rental yard by the weekend (inside 48 hours) and they did a great job. Mowed around plants in the yard, pool area, edging, and it all looked really nice. Reasonable prices too. Ill definitely be using them again!
We have been thrilled using UMOW for lawn mowing at our home so they were the first company I reached out to for a quote on landscaping services for my bosss 5 acre vacation rental property. The property includes several decorative trees and hedges that need regular maintenance as well as vast areas of lawn that need simple mowing and edging so I emailed UMOW to request a walk-thru of the property to get a personalized quote. Their guy, Manuel, arrived on time for our appointment and was very conscientious about specifics that the property needs. We agreed on their Premier Service that includes mowing, edging, hedge trimming, etc. and emailed before photos of trees that needed particular attention on their first service visit and I cant be happier with the result! As well as the actual service, their customer support team is fantastic and I cant recommend them enough!

I rarely leave reviews but this company has inspired me to warn others. Hired them to pickup leaves. They charged me three times what they charged last year for the same area. Came and picked up leaves from the front but in the back mostly blew leaves from my lawn to under my deck. So now under my deck is full of leaves. I emailed them pictures and their initial response was wow that is a lot of leaves let me check on that then got back to me stating that When I originally hired them I never sent a picture of under my deck (which had no leaves before they came) so now if I want those picked up I would have to pay them even more because those leaves weren t in the original pictures. THIS IS A SCAM! So they charged me to come to my lawn and blow leaves under my deck and had the audacity to hit me up for more money to pick up what they should have in the first place. Avoid these guys at all costs. Whoever is running this company should be embarrassed. These pictures were taken AFTER the service was completed

Requested service on Friday and they were here bright and early on Monday. One suggestion, in areas with HOA, come after 8 am otherwise the homeowner is in violation and is fined. The yard looked great.

I used UMOW Lawn care and it was awesome! I love the convenience and quality they add to the traditional lawn mowing service. Ive had some experience with other lawn care companies for my mowing previously. However, none like these UMOW guys! they have awesome customer service. I am French and they are as good as French I would say ;) Great job guys keep it up!
Started out great. For some reason cannot get Julio to return calls. When they provided the service, it was great. Very disappointing.
Umow is hands down the best lawn care experience you can get in Austin. It takes less than 2 minutes for you to go through the app and get the service you need. They came to my house and knocked out weeds, bagged leaves and cleaned up a small garden that was overgrown. My yard has not looked this good in a very long time. You cant go wrong getting your yardwork done by UMOW. Its both time and cost efficient.
My 1st time scheduling service with UMow. The more than 72 hour wait bothered me but they do a pretty good job.
Super fast and friendly! I needed extra instructions and was able to reply to the email that was letting me know when they would arrive and they replied to ithe with a few hours. My yard looked great. Website is very easy to use. I wish more service apps like this existed
Umow was able to schedule me for next day service, which was very important. From the first phone call through the job completion the customer service was great! Everyone was courteous and friendly. The crew that did the work were courteous, professional and efficient. I would definitely recommend them.
