Terrible experience with these guys. Came just a few times and broke or damaged something each time. They did help in fixing some of it but still. Left us with broken irrigation, no internet and a massive water bill.

My neighbor started using this lawn service about a year ago, and in that time they have mistakenly come to my house at least 15 times. Each time Ive stopped them mid-service and asked them to go to the correct house, but they dont understand English and inevitably 2 weeks later they come back to the wrong house again. I even called the company several times and they havent resolved it. Its a problem because they cut the grass after its been raining, which could ruin our lawn. If you want your neighbors yard to get serviced and for them to complain to you about their lawn getting destroyed, definitely sign up with this group.

Each time I had to call back because the job wasnt done. I think you should skip this company and go with someone else. I fired them! You should too if your having an issue!

I think the office staff is super nice and friendly. Ive been Using this company for some time now. Their prices did go up a little bit and I did try out another company That was half the price. This company charges me, but ended up going back to this company because I staff and the people who did my yard.Theyre super great. However with recent mows Probably for the last few months. The crew always seems to forget to move sections of my yard, and its always the same sections time and time again. Once they were still doing my yard while I was home and I went out there and showed him how far over to cut on my yard, and they gave me attitude. Overall, I do like the work they do, but I do feel like it is a bit overpriced for the results.I keep getting.

JRL s has done my yard for over 10 years. They are always on time, follow the schedule, and finish quickly. They even allow me time to put my dogs up before entering the back yard. The job is always very neat and clean. They are great about blowing clippings off the property and never leave a mess in the street. I love their phone center- alway sweet and very courteous!

Through many years now, I remain impressed by the quality and professionalism of their service. Just today, when we are experiencing a temperature of 99 degrees, Just Right was cutting my grass at 2:30 p.m. They may not be smart, but they re reliable! I wish I could accept their offer of additional services, but their one-hour minimum and hourly rate keeps me from doing that. Still,t they take good care of my lawn.

The crews do a good job. Unfortunately, I have not had a good experience with their front-facing office staff, which has affected the services provided, which is the reason for the low rating. I signed a proposal committing to at least 12 weeks of having my front and back yards mowed. Due to clerical errors, over six weeks, my back yard has only been mowed once. So far, it has taken roughly ten calls, emails, and texts to try to get them to fix the problem, with no luck. They are not providing the services guaranteed via the proposal that I signed.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel service for personal reasons. Michael took my call and was absolutely amazing. He made me feel appreciated and heard as a customer. Rest assured, when Im ready to restart service, Ill be heading back and its mostly because of Michael. Customer service was above and beyond!!!

I gave them chance after chance because the front office is nice but the lawn cutters are flat out malicious. I thought at first it was incompetence but when you add up all the facts, it has it has to be intentional. Firstly, they destroyed of all my solar LED lights that were installed around my tree by knocking, mowing over and breaking them. Those solar lights were a gift to me from my sister for my housewarming so they can never be replaced. Secondly, they caused all kinds of rips and holes into my garden holes, which were always hung up, hosed up out of their way. There is no excuse. Another issue is they would constantly miss appointments. It would be late in the day so I would call to see if they were in route in the office and the office records showed that they should have visited my home already. One of the times, I just wanted to see what was gonna happen if I hadn t called into the office because it s not my job to remind them to come and cut my yard and sure enough they never came and when I called the office the next day they had marked off that they had completed my yard so the office has to reverse that charge that was going to be put on my account and that was one of the most troubling incidents. Another one that was really upsetting was they had skipped over cutting weeds. It was like they purposely mowed around weeds that were within my yards boundaries so I had reported that to the office. When the mowers returned, they ended up maliciously cutting some of my bushes and those bushes had been planted over two years ago, so replacing them is not an easy fix, but all of those things really suffice to show not only were they incompetent, but there was some malice behind their behavior. I think though what was the icing on the cake was the untrustworthiness of them not showing up for appointments yet marking it as showed up and still trying to charge me. The operators and front office office were nice and willing to correct the issues but ultimately the lawnmowers were not to be trusted and with that kind of business I ended up deciding that it s best that I do my own yardwork or hire someone else.

Horrible communication. They let me know 3 days later they canceled my service . They charged me already by the way . I canceled and requested a refund they charged my card AGAIN , what s going on ??!!! I need someone to reach out to me . An absolute disappointment from the start. They report day of service if contacted by noon, which is absolutely false. Did not respond to text or email timely, so we had to call. They quoted an ongoing service, and when I told them I wanted an initial mow to see how they perform, they quoted twice the price. Outrageous, unprofessional, unacceptable.

Not a fan of writing bad reviews, but the company has really asked for it this time. So I hired Justrightlawns to maintain our yard for ~4 months, but turned out they didnt really fit our needs, because they were 1) forced me into lawn maintenance subscription even though we didnt have a lawn in order to get leaf removal 2) Aside from the excessive lawn maintenance costs, leaf removal was about 2-3x as much as rival companies. Thats fine, they are a company and if they want to rip off clients that is their prerogative. What bothered me enough to write this review is the sketchy avoidant and scam-like behavior that ensued. I cancelled the service in Dec. They came to the home in Jan and again I called and cancelled them. They then randomly started coming every other week at the end of February, despite the well documented cancellations in Jan and Dec. They continued to come to our home and auto-bill me. Since we didnt need have a lawn, they would come and literally do nothing, then still charge me. No email, no phone call, no notification whatsoever. I noticed after 4 visits and called them insisting they stop doing this and to refund me the funds. The receptionist kept promising upper management would call me, but they never did. Extremely sketchy behavior. I called my credit card and reported them as credit card fraud. Thankfully they refunded me, but the behavior is so despicable it deserves a negative google review and a BBB complaint. TLDR. These guys are scam artists, dont trust them, they will continue to bill you for mock service.

HOW DARE YOU. I canceled my service last fall, despite you trying to convince me not to. Finally I agreed that you could CALL in April to see if I wanted to resume. Instead you came while I was away and RAZED my beautiful lawn and flowers of all varieties, I assume so you could charge first and apologize later. HOW DARE YOU. I have been working so hard on my lawn since last fall and you killed everything. It is short brown and so ugly now. No one should use this joke of a company who will destroy beautiful things just for a dollar. I encourage anyone reading this to cancel their lawn service and go natural. The birds and the bees and your eyes (and wallet) will thank you. I have no butterflies flying around my yard now. I hate what this pathetic excuse for a business did against my consent. DO NOT use this greedy, unethical company.

My lawn was really overgrown and messy because the previous lawn service I was using was being flakey and not coming when they said they would as well as doing subpar work but I switched over to this company and they did an amazing job especially with how overgrown and messy it was! Definitely going to continue using them!

One happy customer they exceeded my expectations. I ve had a bad experience with a different company so I was on the verge of giving up and just paying 300 to 500 dollars to get a lawnmower and take care of it myself. Thank goodness I found this company right away they heard my concerns and noted everything that needed to be done and came on the day they said they would. I no longer need to worry about my lawn and it s a great feeling to know that s one less thing for me to worry about.

Fast amd affordable butost of all clean

For the cost this was the worst lawn service I have ever used they blew piles of grass into the street they didn t even mow the back yard they just took a weed eater to it left it all in even and they didn t even take care of the area by the driveway that I specifically had them add in the notes to do. The only reason I m not giving one star is because when the could not do the work when it Rained they emailed me.

Got a free quote, which took a couple days. I emailed them with questions about it and they never responded. Then they sent an email asking if I had any questions about the quote, which I responded to with my questions. They never responded to that either. If they cant figure out how to respond to emails, cant imagine how their communication would be actually working with them.

Fast and efficient

After a devastating ice storm Just Lawns sent in a team to clean up my side and back yard of large tree limbs and piles of broken branches. Not to mention all the leaves from the downed tree limbs. 2 hours later, my yard was cleaned up, all of the debris was removed.

Just Right Lawns technicians are terrific. My yard always looks great when they are done. Prompt, courteous and conscientious.

Do not use this company for lawn services. This company ignored my cancellation service call, and kept charging my card for services at a house I no longer lived in. Their back office manager was unwilling to admit any errors with their processes or problems with unauthorized use of my credit card.

They always forget the front yard, leave leafs all around and come at 7 am even when asked to start service after 10 am. I just canceled my service today.

This company is responsive. Unfortunately, I had a miscommunication when requesting a quote for a property outside of their service area but listing my home address as my contact info. Their team showed up to service my home rather than the other property. Though I did not need my home serviced, I can note their team was efficient and did good work. When I returned to the company with my concern about the wrong property being serviced, they were responsive and took ownership of the miscommunication. I really appreciate how they handled the situation and would absolutely use them again as they showed great customer care.

They cut my grass three times and three time the lines were crooked, grass cut unevenly and edging was too far back in the front and they left grass around the places that should have been edged in the back. the price does not fit the quality of service. They were also really great about going through pricing, and possibly any extra additional costs that might happen due to our first time using them. Definitely recommend Just Right Lawns!

Be careful when you are needing your garden beds cleaned out, they outsource their work to another contractor which takes weeks to come out and do the actual job. Poor Sevice when it s done as well. We have some expensive bushes that where trimmed and never came back because they cut them wrong at the time. No one ever told us that it would take 3 weeks for them to come out and their explanation was that it was the peak season, I would assume they would have some extra help knowing that. Ask questions before scheduling.

I am very pleased with the mowing job they are providing! My lawn looks great and they came out and got it done in no time flat. Hired this company to do a landscaping project. Nothing out of the ordinary. Sent pictures via text to define the job. A rep followed up and was clueless as to what I needed done. Then after clarifying and finishing the call a couple days later I received a text that stated the job was scheduled and listed the to-do which completely wrong and incomplete. After a third call it was clear this company had no idea what I wanted done. And then a 4th call and a 5th call I thought the scheduled work day would be fine. NOPE! They didn t haul off some items they said they would and they actually did haul off items they weren t supposed to. They didn t trim all the bushes that were on the list. And finally I was told 2-3hrs of work and you better believe they made sure it took the three hours WITHOUT doing the large bush. I have no doubt these workers lolly gagged bc I ve done similar work in my yard and never took that long with just know person The lady in the phone said we re sorry sir we re a family owned business. Well I expect this from a large business but not a family owned one. What a s*** show. You think they made me any kind of offer to make it right? NOPE! They can reply all they want and say whatever but it s just a spin on the fact that they were as horrible experience

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. BEWARE. This company is full of scammers. I requested my front bushes be cleaned up because they were heavily overgrown. This company never did anything and attempted to charge me over $170 for doing absolutely nothing. I have cameras and their crew never touched those bushes. In addition, They sent me photos, saying they did a full removal of my bushes, in which they did not In those photos that they had sent me that wasn t even my home. They were sending me photos of work they did on someone else s home, attempting to charge me. The people at this company are scummy liars. They have access to your credit card on your online account Do not give them payment information and do not give them your service.

I have a lot of mixed feelings towards this company. 1. When they first started cutting my grass they would take short cuts and often avoid areas like corners in the backyard and front porch area. I made 2 complaints about this. 2. During a service, a lawn mower damaged the sliding on the house Im renting. I had to pay my landlord $300 for them to have their vendors replace it. JustRightLawns only reimbursed me $150 after about 2 months of complaining. I told them I was not happy with the resolution and they havent replied to me since BUT they continue to charge my card and send workers to my property for mowing. I will be canceling. Im unhappy at the attention to detail on my yard and unhappy with the lack of care towards the situation.

I am very satisfied with the work this company did for me. I threw a party for my Mother. Called this company up and they came out and made my yard look extravagant. I received so many compliments on the beauty of the yard that weekend. I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. Great job A+ work.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! I hired them 2 weeks ago and they already ran over my sump pump pipe with the lawn mower leaving water and waste flooding my yard among the tiny shards of plastic from the busted cap. On top of that they did NOT notify me that this happened and I had to find out for myself a couple days later. even my plumber knew the second he saw it that it had been run over by a lawn mower! I have been waiting over a week now for a response on weather or not they will cover the damages.

I generally do my own laws. But, I have used Just Right on occasion for one-time services. They always are able to come within a day or two of calling. They do a great job with edging (better than I do). They always clean up as though they were never there.

I have spent the past week trying to get service set up for 13 different properties, the first call I made was promising, however the follow up from the staff has been horrendous - promises of calling me back and getting me pricing together have not been delivered. Very disappointed - setting up lawn service should not be such a chore.

I cannot express my dissatisfaction with this company more strongly. This past week I was alerted to their crew blowing ALL of the leaves in my xeriscaped front yard into my neighbors front yard. My neighbor who had recently paid his landscaper to rake/bag all of the leaves in their yard the previous weekend. I realized what JUST RIGHT LAWNS crew was doing just as this was finishing and called their office so they could immediately address. Since then it has been about excuses, run-around and ultimately no remedy. I also realized it was also caught all on my ring video afterwards and sent the office the link to explain my concern with the expectation they would simply bag up the leaves they blew into my neighbors front yard (it was a lot and the video of the activity is quite dramatic and clear). Initially I thought, they would be reasonable and take care of it but after numerous delays and far too many inquiries and excuses -- they are not doing anything. After having this company for 10 years doing work on a relatively small property, the least they could do is fix their own mistake. I have discontinued service as of today, requested a refund for the last service and asked yet again for them to reconsider this opportunity to do the RIGHT thing and correct. As an Architect who works with homeowners, I cannot recommend this company or the lack of customer care and hope this information proves helpful to others when making a choice.

This company was awesome to work with! They did a fantastic job & all of the staff were very helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend!

We have had multiple issues with this company. First off they quoted us a price of $300-400 for the entire job. Which I was fine with even if it busted the $400 range for a job well done, I honestly felt that $300-400 was a very fair price and would have paid a bit over no problem. Well we get the invoice and they didn t even finish half of the yard and it was almost $600. They stated they would need another almost $300 to finish. That s quite a screw up on bidding! I requested some explanation prior to billing and they never responded. We emailed again asking for someone to call us and never got a call. Below is an email from the person handling our account so maybe someone can do their job and be held accountable. I am willing to adjust reviews based on company taking actions but if not this review is more than deserved. Next stop- Yelp & Facebook.

I applied to mow my lawn in early October 2021. After TWO weeks, they calculated the cost of a complete lawn mow, which I immediately accepted. It was October 21st. THREE weeks have passed since the price was adopted and so far there has not been a single call or a single letter. Not professional work. The client waits 5 weeks from the date of application. Reviews about fast work do not reflect reality.

Absolutely terrible experience with this place. Hired them for some general yard work. There wasn t a lawn to mow or anything so the job mostly entailed getting rid of leaves. They basically decided to just push the leaves into two huge piles and then leave them on the property. I don t know what else they did It couldn t have been that difficult to blow the leaves into a couple of piles. I tried to call them to get this fixed and they basically said that I would ve had to pay extra for the leaves to be removed. Steer clear of this place. They will take advantage of you. Take your money to a good business.

Weve been using JRL for the past year and a half and have been pleased with their service. Theyre friendly, quick, and do a good job with the yard. Weve had a couple issues in the past but they were quickly corrected when we reached out to customer service.

I have been a customer for three years or more, and Just Right Lawns is timely, and if they cannot do your lawn because of bad weather, then they notify you and give you a new date when they plan to be there. There billing is excellent, and they offer additional services, like raking leaves you can use occasionally. They always do a great job.

Pros: Lawn maintenance professionals do a good, clean job with the lawn overall. The office is responsive and courteous in emails. Cons: They say they do not offer monthly service for some reason. They force you into a bi-weekly service even if your lawn doesnt need it or you dont want it. Just strange. I would HIGHLY recommend they correct this issue, especially for long-time loyal customers who have been with them for many years. They have also run over some of the items in my lawn in the past, like solar light stakes. And they have broken the gate door a few times while entering, but to their credit, they have also fixed it afterward. Overall, the mowing/edging service is still top notch, despite the cons. EDIT: They did NOT fix the gate door the last time they broke it (May 2020) and are trying not to take responsibility for it.

They are very organized and stick to their schedule, unless theres bad weather but they let you know in advance. Highly recommend!

First let me state that the good thing about this company is that they do show up on time. It goes downhill from there. This company s quality of work has declined over the years. Their quality is work is extremely inconsistent. I have a very plush and thick lawn that requires the lawn to be more higher than the standard height. One week they would cut it they right height, but the next week they would mow it too close (see attachment). They would drag the trimmer along the fence and foundation where you could clearly see that it was too close. I would call them every week to make sure that my instructions were in my notes. I was always assured by the receptionist that they would be made aware of the specific issues. They even sent a supervisor one week. The yard was perfect. However, the next week, with a different crew they messed it up again. I finally got frustrated and hired a different service. These photos were sent to Just Right Lawns.

Their quote was not factual. When I called to accept and set up the appointment, I was told that the final price could be double or triple the quote. I cancelled.

I dont use this service. Never would. Starting residential services at 7 am is a no-go. You can still be wrong while following the rules. Hopefully I can convince my neighbor to seek services elsewhere.

The men quick and efficient! Always are professional and if I leave a piece of yard furniture out; they will move it to make sure the entire yard is mowed. I have used them since before my knee surgery. They do a great job for the price, I have been using them for over 5yrs.

Just Right Lawns have been doing a good yard mowing / maintenance job over 5 years. I was not aware of weed control, irrigation and maintenance, pest control or seeding !! I just hired 2 other companies for weed control and irrigation. Email have never mention these. Only Landscaping/ mulching I had done 4 years ago. Wow I would have had them to assist my needs. But I didn t ask either. I requested their Fall landscape service about a month ago. I ve call them 3 times to see where my landscapers were getting to me on their schedule. So I cancel that service today (9/5/20). Over the phone call and sent an email to request to take me off the list with a confirmation they ll not charge me card I was told that I check with the landscaper schedule to see where they ll be coming to you !! Never receive a call back either. That s not good communication!! The crew are Great Guys!! Job done very Well each trip!! Iris Sims

Ive used other subscription lawn mowing services in the past, and have got to say that Im a huge fan of Just Right Lawns. They consistently show up, are quick to get the job done, and do a great job overall with not just the mowing, but the weed eating/trimming and blowing. If theyre unable to make it out because of poor weather, theyre quick to notify and get out the following day. Theyre customer service is also a plus. Theyre easy to get a hold of via phone, chat, or email, and are very professional and quick to respond. Cant recommend them enough. :)

I have used this business for a few years now but to get someone to call you back when you have a concern about the service provided, good luck because you wont get anybody to call you back. I am all about helping the small business, if they are, and if they are not maybe that is why they never addressed my complains. The mowing was good at times but there was times when it was terrible, uneven mowing, broken sprinkler heads, excess grasses left behind, etc. and I would call, and the customer service people are very polite and reassures that someone will call back with a few hours, but they dont. So their work has declined tremendously.

They do a great job, but often do not tend to the area under my sons trampoline. I have to call the company to remind them to do so and then make sure they do. Other than that, great job!!!

I ve never seen people mow and edge as quickly as this duo. Not only do they do an incredible job, but my kids love to watch, occupying them for 5-7min :-)

I attempted THREE times to get an appointment with this company - twice by calling, told I would get a call back which never happened, and once by requesting an appointment on line. Again, no response. I dont anticipate ever getting a call back from them, but even if I did, they will NEVER EVER get my business. If you are trying to set up new lawn service, go somewhere else. There are plenty of other landscaping companies who will be happy to return a call. I am amending the top post after Just Right Lawns finally contacted me and performed my desired job. I must say that they did an EXCELLENT job...so excellent that I totally ignored my initial impressions of them and hired them again. And I would probably hire them again and again.

The work as always is great. The only issue I had was with the scheduling itself. When I first scheduled it I was told that it would take 2 weeks and that was fine. However after two weeks with no call to schedule, I called and was told that records showed that I did call and was supposed to be on the schedule but was not. I was then told that my service would be rescheduled and expedited and called the following Monday. I didn t receive a call and when I called to question it I was told that there was nothing that could be done and it would take another 4 weeks to get service. I sent an email with my displeasure and explaining the situation but got no reply. Again the work done was great as always but feel given the situation that the service should have been expedited or some form of compensation offered.

I ve been a customer many years now. They are reliable, punctual, and do a quality job consistently. If there is a weather delay or such, they notify you of the change. Much appreciated.

We have been using Just Right Lawns for about 7 years now. They make it easy. You set it up with a phone call or online, they come do the job well and almost never miss a schedule day (weather permitting). They adjust the schedule for the season but you can call and start and stop at any time. While most of the time our yard is done perfectly there have been a couple of time of the years where the quality of service dipped. BUT, you can always call them out and they will correct the issue. My only complaint is I wish they offered text notification and confirmation for the times when your yard might not need service or there is a something going on youd like to reschedule. Overall, they are reliable, good, and easy to use.

Local Austenite - this is a local lawn company with a local switchboard. You will not feel like a number with these guys. They do a stellar job and are reasonably priced with a laser focus on customer service.

I have been dealing with this company for years they always showed up front of my house 6:45 a.m. Couple times a month and starter running the lawn mower at 7 a.m. I know the noise ordinance start at 7 ..What is common courtesy . How would you feel if you work late nights and come home Someone start doing lawn work exactly at 7 in the morning . I ask this company so many times please stop coming so early and the response was pretty much go to hell. For anybody want to use this service please beware of this company how do they operate this company. I needed someone I could trust and that would be both efficient and a good value. I found Just Right Lawns on my Nextdoor web site in my zip code and what a find! Love these people and their gardeners are nice and really do a great job. So glad I found them!
