They did a great job. Professionals through and through, re-did the whole backyard to remove the lawn and put in pea gravel and limestone pavers. Re-did the irrigation, moved plants around, planted new plants. Easy to communicate with them, and a fair price.

Longhorn Lawns just installed 3 bushes and winter color in my flower bed. They consulted with me in advance and recommended bushes and flowers they thought I would like. When it came to installation, they were professional and did a great job, including explaining the watering procedure so that I knew how to maintain my new plants. Their staff also followed up afterwards to make sure I knew how to water correctly. I count on Longhorn Lawns for my weekly lawn service as well as for updates to my landscape on a seasonal basis (installing flowers in beds, adding mulch, etc.). They do great work for a very fair price. I highly recommend them.

Longhorn Landscaping took on a little job a lot of the other contractors turned down as not worth their time. John Paul Ballesteros (PM) was super responsive and got me a reasonable quote quickly. Follow up to project execution was just as brisk. Matthew and Max (landscapers) did a great job knocking out my shed base. High quality workmanship all around as far as I can tell. As a bonus, the guys were friendly, focused, and neat in their work. Super pleased.

John Paul and team did exactly what we needed on time and as specified. Great work. I would recommend them to anyone. And Ai think a good value. Also very timely.

Matt Reyes with Longhorn Lawns is one of the best in the landscaping business. From the beginning to the end of our project, Matt & his crew were excellent to work with. Matt worked closely with us in the design phase of projects in both our front and back yard. He listened closely to our ideas and wishes, then put a plan together that met our needs and budget. All along the way, he was responsive to our concerns and worked hard to implement a few requested changes. When plant substitutions had to be made in a few cases due to availability, Matt worked hard to find us good options. He also located a couple of plants I had my heart set on. Now I am in my third home since then and Heath and Longhorn Lawns were the first call I made for the new landscaping project. Kara, the designer, took my basic ideas and turned them into a fantastic design. Matt, the project manager, and the rest of the crew were very courteous and patient with my numerous questions. Second day-of cancelation in a row for a quote. I understand landscaping companies have a large backlog but do not make appointments and cancel them multiple times. I can understand once but twice in a row is a trend. If you can wait around to a companys whim stay patient for when Longhorn Lawns thinks your time is important enough. If not spend your effort finding a company that will honor its commitments. The good; Longhorn Lawn was upfront about its project start date availability when I inquired to schedule the first visit.

Longhorn Lawns did a exemplary job installing our new French Drain. We put this off for years, but couldnt wait any more after the monsoon rains last Spring. I contacted Longhorn Lawns to do the work based on Yelp reviews. JP and Matt scheduled us and sent out one of their top crews to do the work. The crew worked meticulously to get the drain angle just right for the drainage. To accomplish the task, they had to use a jackhammer to get through all of the limestone. Note: It was ~100 degrees the day they were here. They worked tirelessly all day to get the job just right. When they finished testing the drain, they put all of the plants back in there places and added more mulch to make it look fresh. Needless to say, they did an awesome job and I highly recommend Longhorn Lawns for your next work. My beds looks fantastic and now I am ready for the next big rain.

I have had Longhorn Lawns for over 2 years now. This is a professional and customer oriented business. They always say Yes when you need help. Fast responsive communications. I ve had big and little projects and they were all completed to my approval. LL aims to please. Also they have provided bi- weekly yard services for us. Never once did they miss a service, unless weather was really bad. Always on time and always to my satisfaction. Moved into an apartment so I don t need their services but I will use them again if we buy a house.

My experience with Longhorn Lawns was NOT good, to say the least. All I wanted to know is what was included in the price quoted to me. If you tell me you re going to charge me $20K to $40K to landscape my yard, then you need to tell me what I will get for that and what I will have to pay for separately. If all your estimate includes is labor and your fee, then all other supplies, stones, plants, hardware, parts and materials are separate charges, then be honest and say so. I m not going to pay you $500 for a non-refundable landscaping plan only to find out that what you led me to believe would cost $20K to $40K will actually cost me upwards of $75k. If you can t give me an honest answer to a simple question then you are disreputable. This business model is a disgrace, and these smoke and mirror tactics to force a customer into a commitment are disingenuous, manipulative and just plain CROOKED! I do not recommend Kara or Longhorn Lawns to anyone who seeks integrity or honesty up front in what you will actually pay to get your landscaping done. Buyer beware this merchant!

I could not ask for better service. I needed help with erosion issues and overall curb appeal. They did both. They exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Longhorn Lawns!!

JP and his crew went above and beyond the original quote in both quality and materials used. They made sure that the job was done right and that our family was very happy with the results. It was an 8 day drainage and landscaping project to reroute runoff rain water and design the front of our house (before/after pics). Their price quote was 75% of competitors in the Austin area with comparable plans to meet our requirements. We made slight changes to do the plants ourselves, mostly due to indecision on our part, and added more grass to the order. Both changes were efficiently and effectively managed and implemented. We will be recommending them for related jobs, and VERY likely to be return customers.

We hired Longhorn Lawns to replace our irrigation after we built our pool and then complete the backyard with landscaping. We also had them replace our builder landscaping in the front with xeriscaping and then hired them again to set poles and hang lights around the fire pit. They were on time, within budget, communicative, and creative during the process. They made a mistake by breaking the fill line to the pool and fixed it without question. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have no clue about the service but I just about got hit by one of the trucks today. I was right beside the trailer and he just decided to come on over and then flipped me off.

Was looking to have several trees installed estimator came out and despite multiple calls in the past six weeks they keep calling back saying the estimator is going to be right back to me and I ve never heard I wouldn t trust this business to do the work for anyone

This is a wonderful company that actually cares! Not only do they show up when they are supposed to but my yard always looks amazing when they leave!! They pick up the hose when it s left out. They move toys when in the way. They always have a friendly smile and a wave! Anytime I have a special request or need anything, Julie and Virginia in the office are always super helpful and quick to respond. We currently have Longhorn Lawns full service maintenance package. This past spring we wanted to spruce up our back yard and they blew our expectations away! We gave them a few ideas we wanted and Kara, their landscape designer, created a backyard oasis! All the guys were friendly, efficient and I will refer them again and again!! We love our Longhorn Lawns!!!

Because I worked there and know how the crews define the lawns or propertys. Small business with enough work .Yes we do everything. Full service would be the best way to go , a lil. Pricey but the service is well done and when the fall comes you wont have to worry about the leaves especially if you have a lot of them we service all types of properties make sure you specify exactly what you want on the order all Crews have memos with each residence specifying exactly what they want so we do get them if something isnt getting done its because you didnt order it

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! I paid for their hands off, your lawn will look great 365 days / year service and my lawn literally DIED on their watch. No one ever came to me and said we need to do anything differently. I had to proactively call them and say why did my lawn die? and they had the nerve to blame me for it. My sprinkler system was checked by a professional company only 2 months ago and is working great and on the right settings. Terrible service and feel like they literally stole my money for months. Dont use them under any circumstance. UPDATE: After having my lawn evaluated by a third party, they determined the cause of the damage was a gas leak in whatever mower had been utilized previously. Longhorn lawns is an unbelievable fraud that wouldnt own up to their own mistake and left me holding the bag.
