We connected with Cutters Landscaping through Yardzen, as a second phase to our project. Working with Justin to set up our plan was simple and Justin was very responsive to questions. Brook was great in handling the billing and walking us through the payment plan and taking the time to fully answer any questions we had. Felipe and his crew were on time and consistent. The crew showed up at the same time every day, cleaned up the site each afternoon, and were considerate of us needing to leave frequently through out the day making sure we had a path to get through. Our front got the mini touch up we wanted and our kids spend all day in the backyard now. Very happy with the quality of their work and the ability to understand our wants and needs in the space and helping us pick what was best for us. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Recently used Cutters for my landscaping project after putting in a pool. They redid irrigation, laid down sod, moved rock and made a custom welded steel flower bed along the back of my yard (60 feet long!). I couldn’t love it any more! Charlie was very responsive and the whole team did a great job. Now two of my neighbors are using them as well!
I used Cutter to add a patio next to an existing deck, to install a pergola, add a stone walkway, leveled a gravel parking spot and added a new above ground planter to match an existing metal. They showed up exactly on time, provided clear quotes and cleared any changes in cost by me. The person that did my quote stayed in touch throughout the project and had a group text with myself and the onsite PM. The PM was creative and helped me address sloping, aligning better with my existing deck and how to put up the pergola without blocking a window. The only things I wish would b slightly different is I think they said don’t do electric so I’ve had to think through that and they didn’t leave the site quite as clean at the very end. But overall the creative solutions and clear communication were some of the best I’ve seen (and I’m the daughter of a GC so I’ve seen a lot). They finished with a week to spare before I had family in town and worked with my deadline. I recommended them to my neighbors.

We hired Cutters to help us with a complex hardscape/landscape issue on our property involving a lot of rock and elevation change including replacement of a large deck. Cutters provided a design consultant (Sarah) who did excellent work addressing all of our challenges with the site. She helped us visualize and see what was possible and developed an excellent very modern design using steel, rock and natural materials. The design was comprehensive including lighting, planting, and irrigation. It took the outdoor spaces and approaches to our property to the next level. Sarah was very responsive to our questions and numerous tweaks and turned edits and estimates around quickly. Highly recommend Cutters design services.

Had Cutters install river rocks around my front walkway. Price point was great compared to others. Kind of wished I had gone with a slightly pricier option, the quality is just okay. We talked about matching the river rocks I currently have in my yard (2 inch). They installed 1 inch river rock, which is a little more likely to get kicked around. They didn t dig down very deep before laying the fabric and rocks, so the rock layer is pretty thin in some parts. Charlie and the team were a pleasure to work with. EDIT: The guys came back out and fixed everything. Dug down deeper below the fabric and replaced the 1 inch river rock with the 2 inch. This is how a company should react when they don t get it quite right the first time. 5/5

They did a great job. Very responsive to all my questions before I signed the contract to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. And they were able to complete the work within a few weeks of signing the contract. Would definitely recommend and will use them again for any future projects.
Cutters did great work on my back yard. The concrete work in particular was done much better than I expected - lots of rebar and nice finishing. They also removed a bunch of sod, re-did the sprinkler system, put in three large limestone raised vegetable beds, and added plants, a tree, landscape border, and mulch. The crew was nice, courteous, and hard working, and they worked 6 days per week until the project was complete. I would definitely recommend Cutters Landscaping!

They fixed the uneven concrete walkway and cracking retaining wall caused from mature oak trees. They did a prompt job. The prices were reasonable. They (Charlie) were quick to respond to any concerns. I plan to do a large landscaping project in the future and fully intend to call them back. They even took some small dead bush and tree free of charge. I would definitely recommend them over and over again.
Cutters is very responsive and communicative. I had a project on hold for about a year and significantly de-scoped it from the original ask. They were happy to run multiple iterations of quotes, then got the work done within a week of approving the budget. Charlie is professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job earning my trust to do the work, as I am no longer located in TX. He sent multiple pictures and videos with suggestions and explanations which made coming to an agreement a breeze!

I am an HOA manager. We have had Cutters Landscaping do two jobs for us - install a swale last year and today they finished installing river rock in several areas to mitigate soil erosion. They also capped off sprinkler heads in the rocky areas to save water. I cant say enough good things about Cutters Landscaping! Charlie and his team are amazing! Im a new homeowner and this was my first time investing into my property since I purchased it. Im SO HAPPY I went with Cutters. I had an idea, a sketch, and a couple of Pinterest reference images and Sarah was able take that and layout my vision. Once they started, the team was QUICK and efficient. Communication was also great, and feedback was well received. We ended up making some tweaks and Im so happy with the end result. What I also appreciated is that they were willing to meet me where I was at in terms of budget. Were phasing out my vision as my bank account allows which is so helpful and allows me time to live in it for a bit before deciding on the next steps. I honestly cant wait to get the other work started and now have so many more ideas! Top notch people, top notch work. 10/10

We had Cutters perform a substantial renovation project in our back yard that included multiple retaining walls, the installation of artifcial turf and stonework, and the construction of a pergola. Great experience working with Cutters Landscaping on our backyard project! Everything was a mess after we built an ADU and now it looks amazing!. Cutters did an AMAZING job revamping our backyard. We just moved into a new house and the yard needed a lot of work to make it a better place to hang out. Cutters came out, did a walkthrough, gave us recommendations, and got to work. Communication was great throughout the entire project. They worked fast and the yard is gorgeous now. It was pricey, but very comparable to other landscapers we spoke to in Austin and worth every penny.
