This company trespassed on our property and refused to answer questions regarding what exactly they did. We initially called them to get information about lawn care. They were told, unequivocally, that we had to be here and out with the technician when they came. We were called a week later and I told them that the service had to be canceled until further notice. However, they came to our property today and sprayed chemicals in our garden beds. They claim they did not know that we canceled. That being said, the initial agreement was that I needed to be on top of the technician when they arrived. So even if if the incompetent employee didnt relay that we canceled, they still should have allowed me to be there with the technician. The technician left a mess in our driveway. He sprayed chemicals on our hose and got chemicals into our garden beds directly. They refuse to come out and show me exactly what they did. Most of our yard is Garden and hedges. I will spend the next several weeks watching to see what died because they refused to show me where they sprayed. I was told that they sprayed the sides of my home as well. The sidesvof our home are not lawn. Its perennial beds. The technician lied and said he cleaned up after himself. He did not. So what else is he lying about? Run away from this company as fast as you can. We have contacted an attorney.

lawn service - switched from TrueGreen to Green T. Green T spent less than 5 minutes each time to service my yard, and after three months I dont see any improvement. Called them to ask and the guy basically told me its my fault. Asked to cancel the rest of the year and still havent got my refund two months after the request. Almost seems a scam to me.

RE: lawn service: We never signed up with Green T lawn services but still getting invoices for 3 rounds of service. No employee of Green T has been at our home. They were informed months ago by phone that we did not have their service.

We will be customers next season! Really liked having options on treatments, excellent customer service, very responsive to comments, first lawn service weve had that effectively treated lawn including along drive and street. Lawn has never looked better!

I called for the garage door tune-up. The door is the last 15 years working perfectly.. The tecnician says the spring is not good, the track is not good, the rollers are not good. Finally he changed the spring, rollers and small piece of strait track and charged $750. However, the top panel is not closing strait now. He is very hurrying. I called for $48 tune-up but.................. terrible. He wants $650 for opner change, 450 for labour and 200 opner. I called Homedepo, they wants 98 dollar for labor, if you have opner. I bought 3/4 HP genie opner from Homedepo. So the total expense is less than $300. What a differnece!!! 4 years before GreenT have resonable technecian and he did more than 10 garage door tune-up one day my rental houses. He never extra charged for that deal. But the new person is compline everything and charged like crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently experienced a pavement ant infestation making a home in some rotting wood that was discovered in the middle of a construction project. Green T was called to conduct a complete inspection of garage attic and crawl space to advise if any other areas a concern. Good news that no other issues were found, however, Joel found another unrelated area of rotting wood that needs to be addressed. I very much appreciate Joel pointing this out to me. I would never have been aware of this problem until it became a much bigger problem in the future. He could have easily taken the its not my job attitude and said nothing. Green T team was very responsive and helpful from start (Bob, Jeff, and Brian) to finish (Joel). It is so rare these days to experience a great team of people going the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction. Thank you Green T for your help.

Great experience from start to finish. Awesome being able to call a company and actually talk to people not a machine. Scheduling was easy, they arrived on time and our guy was super friendly and knowledgable. Explained everything very well and was super clean. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.

Got my sofa clean to only come out having the same spots/dirt still on them. Even contacted the manger to have it fixed and said there was nothing that could be done about it. Wasn t even asking for a refund but atleast for the service to be done again. Went out and bought the little bissel green machine and it easily took out all the stains that should ve been taken out with a $150 service

I seldom give reviews but Green T Garage Door service was amazing. I had a handyman do some garage door maintenance 2 years ago and it had already failed. A neighbor had a Green T garage service sign in her yard so I call the number. In a few days they replaced the parts installed by the handyman and now my 20 year old door works perfectly--no thumps, squeaks, or gaps in the weather stripping. The door is now set for the winter with no air leaks in my heated garage. In addition, the cost was very reasonable, about 60% of another quote. If your garage door needs maintenance, call these guys.

I moved to Greet T last year and results have not been good. Many weeds popped up and they said there is no better solution other than reseeding. Am hoping it works but my previous service was better

This year we have Daniel return to do our annual carpet cleaning. My mom and I are so thrilled and simply just happy to see him. Just had our vents cleaned by Luis G and he did an awesome job. We have a 2nd floor laundry room and the dryer vents to the opposite side of where it is located and he tackled it without issues and with great success. I used them to clean and seal our tile floors in 2 bathrooms and kitchen, laundry room. I love how big the improvement is on our kitchen floor. In the master bath, he also cleaned the floor in the linen closet. This would be a 5 star review if I had not opened the pantry doors. It should have been obvious that the kitchen floor continued under the bifold doors. When I opened them after the floor dried, I was extremely disappointed to see the line between clean and dirty where the doors are.

The tech arrived on time, explained fully what he proposed to do, and answered all of my questions. When I told him that I didn t like one detail of the plan, he willing adjusted the plan to deliver the same result. I might have been able to find a lower price, but for the results delivered, I will happily use Green T again in the future.

This is a belated but no less sincere review for Daniel L from Green T carpet Cleaning. Daniel cleaned our carpets last November. It was right before Thanksgiving so it was great that they could even fit us in. Our carpeting is 30 years old and has experienced many kids and dogs over the years. But Daniel worked so hard to get the stains out. You could tell he took great pride in his work even staying a bit longer than he was supposed to. We really appreciate his efforts. We will definitely be calling again.

First of WOW! Green T Windows removed and old large window and installed an amazing and beautiful bay window. The entire process was so smooth (SO MUCH smoother than the home depot salesmen and the 4 other companies we got quotes from) No pressure, fact based produces and sales. None of that but the competitor doesnt do X or Y just straight building-facts and up front pricing. Our rep was awesome and helped us come in well under budget saving us THOUSANDS! Its funny, we are now moving up our home window replacement (on the rest of our home windows) because the process went so so smoothly. We wanted to put our house plants on the ledge of the window and the rep and installer worked with us to maximize the depth and space on the shelf. Our house from the outside and inside look so great. The installer did amazing work and their level of craftsmanship was remarkable. I highly suggest customers go w/ these guys. amazing work. Daniel did an amazing job cleaning our ducts. He spent his time to do a quality cleaning and even cleaned the heater although it was not been paid for. He also located the crack in the duct with mold and advised what to do about that. Additionally, Daniel educated us on air purifiers and vent mashes. Excellent job, Daniel!

I have been a long-time fan of Green T Windows. When we had all of your windows replaced 7 years ago - I went with Green T Windows. I know the owners, did some contract work for the company - so I had a connection and trust with company in general. We are so content with that decision and are extremely happy with the windows. But then we ordered brand new windows for our new family room addition and that positive view has changed. I honestly did not hesitate to use Green T Windows again - after all, everything we experienced before should just be a continuation. I was wrong. The 6 brand new windows did not seem to be the high quality of the original windows. The did not seem to be as sturdy and the latches seemed of lesser quality. We found out that one of the window slide devices was broken at installation. Luckily the person we hired to do the installation was a former employee of Green T windows and they had a replacement part available. He replaced and all was good. Now, 12 months later after cleaning the windows - one of the windows will not close easily. You have to force it with a lot of strength to close and open it. Not good. I immediately reached out to Green T and was told that the windows were out of warranty and due to the fact that I ordered the windows, but they did not install them - I did not qualify for the extended warranty. Sadly, none of this was explained to me. I assumed that I had the same extended warranty on the new windows as I had on the replacement windows that they installed 7 years earlier. I was wrong. I guess I expected that when you spend hard-earned money on quality windows - you expect them to be quality that lasts for longer than a year and with a decent warranty that covers poor craftsmanship if anything does go bad...no matter if they installed by them or a window installer that we hired. Its not the installation that was bad, it was the faulty window construction. A truly disappointed Green T customer.

Workers knowledge of proper cleaning application for various venting installations throughout the house resulted in achieving the maximum operational benefits within the HVAC system. Serviceman was very aware and conscientious of his surroundings and unconsciously exercised caution to prevent any potential damage that might have occurred otherwise during the process. Most impressive with Daniel and this service call was his understanding and respect for all tools and equipment used along with the pride that was evident throughout the course of this somewhat invasive undertaking. Today I received their call and very disappointed their rude customer service and call.

Daniel was prompt, professional, friendly, and efficient in cleaning our air ducts, dryer vent and carpets.

I engaged this company for carpet cleaning. They arrived and said that their machine would not remove the hairs on the carpet. Initially the service person agreed to vacuum and then later said it is extra $25 per room for vacuum cleaning on top of the agreed carpet cleaning charges. Then he said that his boss would call me. No one had called but the service person vanished.

Late post. Hired Green T to clean my air duct system. They sent a young man by the name of Aidan who did a phenomenal job. He took his time and went to every vent in my house and vacuumed, whipped and sanitized the system. I cleaned my coffee table after the vent cleaning treatment as a test to see if my home was still becoming very dusty. Before Greet T I had an extreme amount of dust building up on coffee table and other surfaces, after treatment barely can I find dust. It is pricey, however, it is comparable to other places for this work but you may not get the same results. I am beyond pleased with Aidan and Greet T!!

I paid for a carpet cleaning, had to call in about work of cleaner. Didnt clean behind doors, stairs and room carpet still not clean, basically looked like a surface clean. Basically had to have another company come out and clean the carpet and it was still dirty from the previous supposedly clean.

I called twice and spoke with a nice gentlemen wanted to have them come out and give me a quote but never received a call back.

Overpriced. Got a free dryer duct cleaning. Then 5 days later I noticed lint all over the outside duct outlet. The stuff was caked all over it - the tech just blew the lint towards the outlet but never cleaned to outlet.

John thoroughly cleaned my carpet. Moved furniture, protected furniture legs with blocks and plastic under them, treated spots and applied Scotchguard. It looks great, and will be dry to walk on in a few hours. Thanks!

The carpet cleaner came in did not ask me about anything did not say anything to me finished I signed and he left!!! I went to my house for the lint brush and very lightly one over the top of my carpet and there was a ton of cat here that was not picked up. I m not happy at all. The gentleman that I talk to you on the phone was rude and he tried to explain that what they did was correct. Well I m sorry to say it was not and you will not get a good review for me at all.!

This was a great experience for us. Simon came out and explained what we needed to do and what they would do. He detailed our options for the type of door for our garage. Green T worked around our schedule as we were having our house painted at the same time. On installation day, we were notified that our installer, John Clark was on his way. We were amazed that one guy was able to complete this task. John exhibited a fantastic work ethic that is so rare today. We are very pleased.

*updated* Initially, everything seemed fine as they effectively cleaned the ducts. However, there was an issue when they accidentally damaged the dryer vent. When I contacted them to report the damage, I was taken aback by their impolite and unprofessional response. not even an apology. they argued indeed. Jon was no doubt the best !! Jon did an excellent work and went an extra mile to do the job thoroughly. We werent happy with the way the person spoke on the telephone. it could have been better.

These guys are not experts at cleaning rugs. The typical walmart or home depot rugs sure they will clean them but the heavy woven ones...no way. They ruined two rugs and refused to refund the amount or put in a insurance claim to cover the damages. When I asked them if they can clean those types of rugs they said yes but they failed. When I called them out on it their only response was they didnt know they would ruin them until they started to clean them. They are not experts and do not trust them to do any service for my home. The nonsense about making it right is completely BS. On top of all of this I had to call them to get updates throughout the process. Please take your business to another small business. Smh. 12622 They called back offering a measly attempt to make things right. They called them selfs experts and yet can t determine by looking at a rug and determine if it can be cleaned. They claimed a rug can only be determined if it will be damaged only by cleaning it. So they take no responsibility and further frustrating the customer. Your call if you want to use them but it will be at your risk not theirs. Good Day

I called Green-T over the weekend and asked for their $47 dollar garage door/opener tune-up. It was scheduled for the following Monday. I knew I had a bigger problem, just wanted sure what the problem was. I was surprised to see John from Green-T show up. He installed my Green-T garage door in 2017. He knew exactly when he was here last and even remembered a conversation we had back then. He was great then and was great this time as well. My opener was from 2006 and it hasn t been opening all the way, getting stuck just a few inches from the bottom and my gear was totally shot. I live in a home that was built in the early 1950 s. I m thinking the air ducts had never been cleaned. The associate, Jonathan, from GreenT said my home was in the top 10 of the worst ducts he d seen (I asked LOL). Jon was polite and knowledgeable when I asked questions. He did the job and left no debris to speak of. I could hear the debris rattling through the vacuum hose. He carefully removed a duct grate that had been painted over so that the paint wasn t damaged. Everything was replaced just as it had been. Duct cleaning included the furnace. Ask for a senior discount. They offer one.

I can t thank Green T Windows Services enough for all the time and work they ve put into fixing my windows. Originally, I got my windows replaced by them last year fall. I then got notified by my HOA that they re going to replace the sidings of my townhouse unit this summer which turned into a disaster. Somehow the crews taking care of the sidings messed up everything and I mean EVERYTHING around the windows. Every time it rained or stormed it would be dripping rain inside and created puddles on the window sill. I was surprised to see and hear all the damages done to the previous perfectly installed window. I want to thank Catalina/ Cat for arranging all my appointments from beginning to end, thank Daniel for coming in the very first time to give me an estimate on window replacement and installation, thank Noah and the other guy that came with him (sorry didn t get his name..) for fixing my windows for the second time to prevent further water damage, and thank Eric (the manager of windows department) who took care of me to listen to my frustrations with water leakage and helped guide me to get this fixed ASAP. Green T Windows Services is THE BEST!! They are professional, honest, and you get what you paid for; will NOT be disappointed, guaranteed!! Very positive experience with GreenT Services. Cesar showed up on time and worked diligently for the entire time he estimated that the duct and dryer vent cleaning would take. He wore booties to protect our floors and clearly explained everything as he progressed. He even let us know that the dryer vent had been disconnected and fixed that problem at no additional cost. Please be aware that estimated cost of duct cleaning is based on number of furnaces so it it important to let GreenT know if you have two zones. This changed the estimate considerably, but is completely understandable and it was better to know upfront to avoid a surprise later. All aspects of working with GreenT were positive from my initial call through project completion. Highly recommend!

Purchased landscaping stone in Plainfield IL, should have been 1 1/2 ton. What arrived was less. When I questioned the driver he said I wasnt the only one to state that and there were others that had the same complaint. He said I should call the office. I said they had one chance and that I would not purchase from them again. In response to your reply, I did not have a scale in my drive. And neither is there one at your facility. I have had extensive experience at ordering tonnage and cubic yards. What showed up was about 1000lbs light. I will not patronize any of your businesses in the future.

Scheduling on the phone was easy and convenient. Gideon arrived on time and went above and beyond. I am pregnant and he moved a few items to be able to access the vents. We are in a new home with odd vents and he took the time to carefully remove them without damage. What good is it to have a super friendly salesperson and nice customer service on the front end when the quality of the windows is subpar? Things seemed promising at the start - our salesperson Dan was very personable and the price he quoted was good. Unfortunately, the actual installation was far less than satisfactory. COVID is still an issue, yet none of the guys wore masks when they worked inside, except for the first fellow that came to the door and I had to tell him to do so. This was a moot point later on since the others didn t wear one, so I kept mine on the entire time. The guys didn t utter a single word to us the entire time, other than the foreman who talked to my husband because he was working outside. We had to ask for the permit to hang in our window, even after the city inspector came by and asked the guys to produce it. This is usually the first thing companies do when they show up. These are messy and dirty windows with questionable construction. It took hours to clean up the excess glazing compound, there is a nick on one panel, and the screens are flimsy and loosely hung. Some of the dirt didn t come off, even with Novus plastic polish and Goo Gone. The caulking done by the guys was also sloppy and unprofessional in places - segments of it should be removed and redone. The other problem is that the caulk is still sticky and will apparently always stay that way, so it is a continual dirt magnet inside and outside. That issue, coupled with the matte white window material that gets dirty if you look at it, isnt an attractive look. Adam looked things over and admitted that the window construction itself wasn t up to par and that a manager would call us. The side garage door was a lot better, although it was also dirty and some of this didn t come off. The creative caulking around the siding made it nearly impossible to paint the door frame neatly - I will need to do additional touch up on this mess in the spring. In any case, a manager didn t call us, which is disappointing. We did have to call a few weeks later because the door was scraping on the side and was too tight. They were supposed to come on a Saturday and nobody showed up. My husband called and they rescheduled for the following Tuesday. Adam did the work and some young kid asked to use our bathroom - again, we had to tell him to wear a mask. It took five minutes to fix the door and the kid was still in the bathroom. Interestingly, during the four plus hour job, not a single guy asked to use our bathroom. Again, are the people at Green T living in a vacuum - how could they be so oblivious to the ongoing COVID situation?! We found it disconcerting that we were given a survey that was immediately read. As if we d feel comfortable saying bad things when we knew he would read it right then and there - get real! On a positive note, it was very nice of Adam to install the door lock we purchased, as well as trim on the windows and door. Bottom line - based on our experience, we can t recommend this company for windows.

Cesar was the tech, nice guy and job well done . Cleaning our couches , pillows, and ottoman. The only thing I would suggest is when you bring the hoses through the house, put a cloth under the piece where the metal connectors are, to not scratch the floor.

We booked this service for duct cleaning for our new home we purchased recently. We went with their highest package as well. However, a few days from the the day of service, we called to make sure that they wouldn t need to have doors and windows opened for which the office contact - Kevin- had responded no , and said that they would pull the pipes through an opening that they can open and close and it would not affect the temperature of the house (given it s the dead of winter in Chicago). Biggest concern is that we have a newborn at home, which would be at the utmost importance and they reassured that it wouldn t be an issue. The day of service, they called to reschedule due to a technician issue, and they booked us for the following morning without confirming the timing. The technician presented in the early AM without a mask on and even after my husband asked him to wear a mask, he did not. Then he went on to tell us that the main door would be left open which will drop the temperature in the house by a few degrees but that shouldn t be an issue as they have been doing this a very long time. After calling the office again, Kevin starts arguing about the prior conversation and then decided to cancel the service and hang up the phone. I haven t dealt with this kind of unprofessional and needed this to shared for anyone else.

I was satisfied with the work done and the time that it took. The technician was very courteous. The length of the truck and trailer makes visits to a small cul-de-sac area problematic for traffic in and out of the area. There were some complaints from my neighbors who said they had trouble exiting the block. The technician did not clean up specs of dirt an paint on carpeting and floors and did not move back items that were in the way of his doing his work. I had asked him to tell me if he needed help with this, but he did not. If it is your expectation that this is my responsibility, that should be stated clearly upfront.

Seth showed up and was early, super courteous, and very good. Our carpets look great and he was very fast. He also let us know about all of the other services that Green T provides such as handymen and landscaping. We were very impressed and will definitely call them for future services.

This is the second time my company has used their services. They were able to get out to our facility in under 2 hours from initial call. They are quick and efficient and will be our first call when we need to disinfect any of our facilities. I give them 5/5 starts and would give them 10/5 stars if I could! They had Seth come out and clean my air ducts today. He was here within the window, was professional and polite, and did a fantastic job. No complaints.

I just had my air ducts cleaned today by Eric. Eric was able to do a marvellous job by helping me do the deep cleaning for my new home cleaning. As soon as my family were able come inside they notice immediately the difference of the air that we could breath inside and we also are greatly thankful to the gentleman of customer service that was able to explained the sevices for duct cleaning. Without no doubt, I will call and recommend GreenT Services again.

Reliable, quick and reasonably priced

First off, Im a very particular person. With that said, Im completely blown away by Cesar. Cesar was, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and above all his attention to detail and his quality of work was amazing. Something as simple as the pattern he left in the carpet was a work of art and shows that he cares about what he does. I ve used Green T for several projects including a new Garage Door. These are quality people that I would trust with any need.

Final Update: to conclude the third update to this saga, customer service reached out after seeing my review and did everything they could to reconcile the situation, which I appreciated greatly. They ended up refunding me a significant amount. So they will keep my business. Below was my original post about the services I received. But the more I looked into it , Im disappointed. When I initially called, I described my requirements and the sales rep told me I needed the middle tier package for what I wanted to accomplish. When Seth the technician, arrived, as friendly as he was, he told me that I need to upgrade. I felt a bit strong armed since Im not familiar with all the services, etc. I wish I knew that when I called the first time, because something didnt feel right about the way that was handled in my opinion. Second, many corners of my walls were chipped from the vacuum including our wood banister. Lastly, the machine was placed on my lawn..and burned a huge part of my grass, which I put a lot of time and care into So overall, initially I was please...more I looked into it...not so much anymore Original Post Seth was great to work with. He was quick, courteous and professional. He understood my needs and requirements, identified a few other areas I needed help with and gave me a great discount on an upgraded service. I would definitely recommend again!

I had a garage door installed on 10/16/20. I was very pleased with the crew and the garage door too. They arrived on time and were fast, professional and thorough in their work. They hauled away the old door and even cleaned up when they were done. Nobody beats their prices as well. I would highly recommend them.

They did a great job, nice employees but was expensive

On Friday we had green T for the first time to clean our carpet. The family room had a lot of sports. Happy to say they are all gone. Main point to this we would call them back to clean our carpet.

I have had my air ducts cleaned by Green T several times over the past few years. They always do a good job and are polite and friendly. Our service provider this year was Dom and we are very pleased with the service.

From the call for service with Sara to the technician Z arriving Green T service exceeded my expectations. Ive have another garage door repair person out in the past (not Green T) and he was nothing short of a jerk. The customer service with Green T makes you feel as if youre valued and they actually appreciate your business. Thanks Green T, Ill be using you for maintenance in the future!

I had a Air Duct cleaning performed at my home in Joliet. Danny was outstanding and very detailed cleaning of all vents, as well as adding a sanitizer. He was extremely knowledgeable and let me know about the many services Green T offers. I will be using Green T services again!

Weve used Green T Services to clean our carpets multiple times. Ceaser and John have been to our most recent home and both were friendly, on time and great people the work with. Very pleased with the service(s) that were recently performed on the overhead sectional garage door at our residence. The technician who came out was very efficient, and was able to remedy an issue with the garage door opener drivetrain, at a modest additional cost. Excellent experience, would highly recommend them.

Justin cleaned all our vents, and also cleaned our carpets. He was professional, friendly, and very informative. He told us exactly what he was going to do and how it was going to work, before beginning any work, and afterwards, he was good at telling us what had been better or worse than expected. We very much appreciated the information. He managed our expectations appropriately, letting us know which stains he probably would NOT be able to remove (for example, ones that had been there long enough to set). We would definitely use the company again, and hope to have Justin back if the work was suited to him!
