This is the most unorganized company that I have tried to deal with, ever. They Dont come out for scheduled services and then they try to bill you for services that you never received. Avoid this company at all costs. UPDATE: In response to your reply, I have called the company 3 times to dispute 2 bills for services I did not receive and was told the reps are not allowed to remove charges AND that I could not speak to a manager. I was told a manager would contact me within 7 business days. A manager has never called me.

I love how the workers are intelligently incredibly when it comes to descriptive detail within these lawns. It has completely foreshadowed my future interest within these services I have received, for example I was impressed with the services, I came in contact with a man named Angelo and he provided the most respectful and upright customer service.

I tried to take care of my lawn myself, but weeds are just to difficult. I gave up using the do-it-yourself stuff from the big box stores, Fairway Lawns keeps them away.

Today, July 26, 2024, Mike Q. A Lawn Technician Of Fairway Lawn , Augusta, GA, Was Scheduled To Visit My Home Where I Have 2 1/2 Lawns Which Mr. Mike Was Scheduled To Treat Today. Upon Speaking To Mr. Mike I Felt Reassured That The Brown Spots On My Lawn From The Past Month Will Disappear Because According To Mr. Mike, My lawn Had Developed A Fungus Which Is Popular In This Region. I Felt Relieved To Know That Upon Completion Of Mike s Application, The Fungus Would Disappear And My 2 1/2 Lawns Will Look Just As Good And Healthy As The Past Years That I Have Always Been Happy With Fairway Lawns !! Mike Advised Me To Call A Certain Water Company Which He Recommends To Install Underground Sprinkler Devices That Would Regularly Water My 2 1/2 Lawns, Since All I Have Are Manual Sprinklers. .Mr. Mike Is Obviously An Experienced, Very Knowledgeable Technician And He Is Very Polite And Obviously Likes His Job And The Customers That He Services! I Was So Impressed With How He Helped Me That I Asked Mr. Mike For His Employer s Phone # So I Could Notify Him What A Good Employee He Is. Mr. Chris Q. , His Immediate Boss, Listened Very Intently To My Phone Call Praising Mr. Mike. He Was Impressed And So Happy That I Called! He Asked Me If I Could Enter Mr. Mike In This Contest For Best Employee And I Said I Was More Than HAPPY To Do So Because I Feel That When An Employee Takes The Time To Learn Everything Necessary To Satisfy A Customer AND Is VERY NICE, They Deserve To Have The Public And Their Boss Know! In Addition, I Have Found That When An Employee Is Very Good, Their Boss Or Manager Is Many Times, Responsible For Encouraging Their Employees To Be Great! They used to be a good service. Then things changed. Weeds, burning, uneven application. Went from leaving an invoice on the door to emailing your invoice. When you call about concerns. You cant get anyone to give you a real answer. When you mention leaving, Management doesnt care.

This is my first experience with a lawn care company. I have not had any issues and it shows within my neighborhood. The number of service flags from Fairway has increased. That means they are doing something right.

They were good for the first few months, their services declined and my yard lis starting to look worst than when they started. They dont seem to be very knowledgeable about what the lawn really needs. My yard even got a disease after they treated it. Someone need to do follow-ups after the technicians to see the progress.

Fairway is more reasonably priced and is well organized. Other companies did not know I had already paid and seemed confused and they were more expensive. Aaron Key is my technician and has the knowledge of a surgeon. He is friendly, very responsive, and has solutions to every lawn problem. Fairway, by far is the best we have previously used. Thank you for a job being done well.

Fairway Lawns has done a great job for us. The techs really seem to know their stuff! They made sure to point out that if I wanted my weeds gone, that I need to follow through with the instructions they leave about watering. We have had Chris Ingwersen of fairway lawns help us for a few seasons now. Our front yard had a large tree that was shading too much during the day and grass would not grow under it. He helped trim the tree and planted grass seed. He was very knowledgeable and gave us advice about what would make growing this grass successful this season and I m glad to say it s covered and no more dirt spots! Besides that, he has helped us with weed control too!! Very professional, friendly, and kind. I would recommend fairway lawns to everyone. Thanks, Chris!

My neighbor s lawn is the envy of the neighborhood so when I saw a Fairway Lawn technician next door I wasted no time going over to tell the tech that I wanted my lawn to look as good as my neighbors. The tech introduced himself as Christopher Ingwersen and said he d be glad to help me. I was extremely impressed as Chris went over the services Fairway can provide for lawn, tree, shrub, etc. care. It was evident he knew his stuff and quickly and happily answered any question I threw at him. I could tell Chris enjoyed his job and was proud to be a representative of Fairway Lawn. He assured me that he could have my yard looking impressive in short order. After telling Chris I needed to discuss this with my husband he gave me his Fairway contact info and told me to feel free to call him if I had anymore questions. He said he looked forward to adding me as a Fairway customer which I plan to be.

Biggest rip off in Augusta. If you want weeds; these are the people to call. Absolutely the worst customer service and client retention. If I could give less than one star I would. Don t buy the line that they have a new local manager; she s (Shelby) is nothing but the same. Tried to upsell me for pest control when the weeds have nothing to do with it. I hire a separate pest control who efficiently manages pests in my yard. Total I got your money and could care less about service. Hire local. Don t waste your money on these people. P.S. following up after their response. 4 days later; no call, no follow up, no visit. Complete and utter nonsense to reply giving the readers that you take action and accountability. You have been warned. Complete ridiculousness.

They are servicing my parents yard. They don t announce their arrival or departure. We know they stopped by due a sign in the yard. There are still brown patches / weeds. Maybe if they informed what they are doing and when they would see progress, I would rate higher.

After having the service for 2+ years, we still have a yard full of weeds. The service technicians application of products were extremely fast, sporadic, lacking a pattern which showed little care. When we had to address concerns in the past we received good customer service. This time we received poor customer service and no solution. We are discontinuing our serv.ices

Big corporation owned by National investment bankers, not personalized service and worse quality than a local company. Would suggest using a locally owned Lawncare service instead

The bottom line is results and these guys got my lawn looking like a golf course. All my weeds and gone and my grass is lush. The previous owner did not invest in the lawn and in another year this lawn would have been awful. Now it looks absolutely perfect.

We hired them to treat our yard and we added on a service to treat fire ants (Mole, Cricket & FireAnt) this service caused a snail/slug infestation. We had 100s of snails covering our house/driveway. We drove over snails everyday leaving snail splatter everywhere. The company told us that it was not their fault, and their product does not cause the infestation. Or repels them and that because we are in a new development that is the reason. We have been here for over 2 years and never seen this amount of snails. They offered no solution, so I cancelled.

Very good service. I had called them a couple of times for a follow up treatment of weeds and they took care of it at no charge. I have had them for about 6 years and they have been consistent with their service. They actually listen to your concerns! Keep it up guys and thank you very much!

Quick response and great services. Never have to guess about how the lawn is doing. They provide detailed summaries with each treatment. And they even provide pest control now!

So I d like to say that I am giving a rating based on the quality of service however, I m giving this rating based on the complete lack of contact from Fairway Lawns. I filled out the online form roughly over 1 week ago and was never contacted. I don t know if this is a technical issue or not, however it doesn t give me a great impression about their computer systems and any online portals or account controls they may have. ***Update*** 01 April 2022 I was contacted today by the company, letting me know they were having technical issues with their online system. I updated the rating from 1 to 4 stars, as I appreciated them taking the time to reach out, apologize, and offer special rates for their lawn service in compensation. I will certainly keep Fairway Lawns in minds if my current service does not work out.

They done a good job , but eventually quit coming! Called the last two times and asked what the issue was and they stated they should have already came out well I can t make them take my money and I m not gonna call and remind them that it needs to be done each time .. so if you want reliable and someone to show up each time they might not be right for you !

Fairway Lawns does great service in the field, However, Due to finical strain I canceled my service February of this year 2022. They still came out per usual and treated my yard though I canceled. I then owed $45 dollars. Due to Fairway Lawns gaining a new website/portal my login did not work so I contacted them to help create a login. They failed to help me do so. I then proceeded to give my CC information over the phone to pay this debt. Fast forward to June 18th 2022 I receive a letter in the mail from A collections agency that I owe $45. This is disgusting. February of 2021 I payed for a years worth of service. The unprofessional nature of the indoor team to now send me to collections over $45 when I give my CC info to PAY IT is absurd.

Just deciding between competitors. Have not reviewed everyones services and prices..Went with this company, totally satisfied with services.

Been with fairway for two years. Great customer service and quality.

We ve had service with Fairway Loans for three years and we have been satisfied up until recently. The service is sporadic and they changed our technician. Our previous technician was great at recognizing and treating weeds. We currently have more weeds than before we started service. Don t even get me started on the trees and shrubs service. If someone replies, don t gaslight me in your response. Just fix the problems that you know have arisen.

Fairway started off well but it seems after they get you as a customer they dont care. I went almost 2 months without a call, text or response. This amount of time allowed weeds that were coming into submission to re-emerge. I called 4 times and got 4 different answers. I would not recommend this company and I hope to get a response from them but I seriously doubt it.

The price of service is reasonable. But you get what you pay for. My yard continues to decline! Very little communication about resolving any issues?

We as humans are prone to make mistakes. But, needless to say, they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you for your patience with my previous review and for your service. Fairway Lawns is by far the best company in the CSRA that treats and fertilizes, controls the weeds in the lawn, not to mention applies 4 pre emergent applications to the lawn yearly. They also have an incredible mole cricket and fire ant program which they stand behind. Every aspect of this company is 5stars and the technicians are extremely knowledgeable on every aspect surrounding the lawn. They also offer a tree and shrub program which keeps your landscape insect and disease free

They are a awesome company that always contacts you and they give you feedback when they leave!! If you have any problems with weeds after they have treated the lawn they will come back out and service the lawn again!! I highly recommend their business but only if you want a beautiful lawn and wonderful service!!

Fertilize the grass and provide weed control... Ive used other services similar to Fairway Lawns and Fairway Lawns is the best. My lawn is much healthier with far fewer weeds. They are great with following up if there is an issue.

We were not serviced on time and have fungus. The service man told us he would be back in two weeks. He did not return. When we called and requested they let us know when they were coming back we were told they would call. They did not. As usual, he showed up at 7:00am and was rude when asked why he didn t come back in two weeks as he said. It is a scheduling thing. Our yard looks horrible!!!!

Ive used Fairway here in Augusta for 7 years. I started using them because when I did it myself, I spent more money and made my yard unusable the day everything was applied. Unusable on a weekend is not good! Hands down, the best results youll get from any lawn company. Quality service, products, and 8 service calls per year, produce the best visible results. If at any time Im not satisfied, they will come back out at no charge to make it right. Wont use anyone else.

Fairway Lawn is great! -They always contacted me to let me know when they would be out, conscientiously applied lawn treatment and were careful not to damage anything in the process.

The services by Fairway Lawns were terrible this year 2022 regarding weed control. They did not control the weeds in my lawn and neighbors. This year their lawn fertilizing was sub par as our grass did not thrive this year like before with their services. They did not up hold their guarantee of returning to re-service our lawns at no cost. My neighbors and I have complained about the services we received this year with no good outcome. We often did not get a response or if we got a response it was in error. Like when they related their was nothing they can use to treat fungus mushrooms. Not true, Home Depot or Lowes even have fungicide to treat lawns. Because of their terrible services, we had weeds that spread to all of our lawns and we still have the weeds! My neighbors and I have discussed not using Fairway Lawns next year because of their dismal services this year.

Ive been using Fairway for two years. They have kept my yard looking great. They have warned me when my other lawn service was actually doing things that were detrimental to my lawn, shrubs and trees. I highly recommend this service. Great people to work with!

Fairway lawn had brought my lawn to a place I never thought possible!! We had everything from mole crickets to weeds galore to dead patches and now we have a thick healthy green carpet!! We had used another lawn service that had destroyed so much of our lawn and had blamed everything but themselves and fairway lawn brought it back!! They are the BEST!

Fairway Lawns is always professional and the weed control really works.

The guy that normally came to treat our lawn was moved and the person replacing him was not fully treating the lawn. When we called to complain and request the previous person to treat our lawn, we were told that they could not do that. Additionally, the person doing our lawn was supposedly made aware but to no avail. Conditions got worse and nothing was done so we went with another local company

We are disappointed. Our neighbors have great looking lawns and our lawn is below average. The HOAs have commented on the appearance of our lawn in regards to their high standards. This is a very exclusive neighborhood in Columbia County. We are willing to work with you to make sure that you will bring our lawn up to quality appearance. Fairway Lawns has provided pest control, fertilizer, lime, and fire ant services for three years now. Fairway also provides tree and shrub care for our home. I am very pleased with the services provided and the responsiveness to my questions and follow up service requests. My lawn and shrubs look great. The lawn tech comes when he is slated to come, he takes the time to interact with me on questions I might have.

Other services include pest control and fertilizing of bushes and lawn fertilization.

I tried - nothing ever happened. Their rep came once a month for over a year. Most of my yard is now a dead stick. Ive sent a message requesting a cancellation of service. I am hopeful whatever they did will not kill my neighbors grass. I had an expert over today who told me more than I had known about the grass types and the unfortunate overuse of chemicals that are not a one size fits all.....Please do not come back and cancel my service. Thanks.

BEWARE! Terrible customer service. Tech spent 5 minutes TOPS on my yard for an initial service. Couldn t get away fast enough. Tried to ask him a couple questions and he was rude and abrasive. I immediately called to cancel and was told a manager would call me back to discuss my experience further. A manager did call and said I was told you d like to cancel because the tech was rude? , as if this isn t a reason to cancel. He then went on to tell me that the tech had put in notes about a conversation he d had with me that was entirely inaccurate. This company is disorganized (was quoted multiple diff prices), could care less about your yard, and sends techs that don t want to answer any questions.

Update 19APR21 - They issued me a refund to follow up and remedy any issues, much appreciated. Ensure if you dont want their services that you use their portal and double check to verify they are cancelled, otherwise you will be stuck with a bill. I swapped from Fairway to another company and they came out and treated my lawn even though I didnt accept the counter offer via text and it was treated by the other company the day before.

Took them weeks to finally start treating my lawn from day I authorized quote, though they said 24 to 48 hours. Then when I called to follow up, I kept being told someone would call me back, but no one did.

I use Fairway Lawns for monthly fertilizer and weed control applications for my lawn. I have used them since 2018. I dont remember the process of getting a quote, since it has been a few years, but I dont recall having an issue with getting a tech to come out and provide a quote. Their price is reasonable, I remember it being the middle of the few quotes I got. They also offer a referral discount and a discount for paying up front for the year of treatments. They come 8 times a year and I have not had an issue with missing a service or service being late. Just as I start to think there are a few weeds in the yard it seems that there is a service note in the front door. They have done a really good job of getting my weeds under control and how I get multiple compliments from my neighbors about how good our yard looks. It did take time, but the yard has improved each year. Online payment system is very easy and takes major credit cards. I dont think Ive had to contact them since I called them to get a quote.

Was great for a couple of years but twice this year I had to call to get them out here. Not calling anymore it s been 11 weeks since they been here. Not wasting my time with them anymore.

After several months of the initial first service, Manager reversed a discount that was offered for first application, maybe in fine print that I may not have noticed you are to use them for 8 more applications to fulfill discount of first application. (Explained to me on the phone when I was disputing the charge) Threatened to send the outstanding $24 balance to collections without sending me a bill. Reverse discount bill was added to service unnoticed after several months after initial service. Businesses should always charge what they need to for their services, I agree with the price that I owed, but why does it have to come to threats of collection? Why do you have to be such tricksters for business acquisition? I have also had neighor s who were long time customers stop using them because desired results were not achieved (I.e. Killed most of their grass)

They have a great product, however their techs (at least the 2 weve had in our neighborhood over the last 6 years) are non-communicative, irritable when asked a question, and have a tendency to be sloppy in application. We have documented events to go along with each of the items just mentioned. Its true how employees treat customers goes along way. Its unfortunate, though after 6 years, we left their service to go to LawnAce because we just wanted to be treated kindly.

I like the quality of the chemicals that they use I ve kept my grass weed free. When we do papa I notify them and they respond pretty quickly

Always professional and informative.

The staff is always on time and calls beforehand even though Im rarely able to respond while at work. They will often go above and beyond and move my dog toys if I forget to move them off the lawn. The yard itself has never looked better and you can see a difference between lawns quite easily. Not having to mow the weeds growing is a big plus.

I tired fighting the weeds in my yard with different bags from Lowes and what not. That was until last year I kept seeing the neighbors yard without weeds and yet I still had them. Decided to go with fairway lawns and for the most part weeds are gone. This will be the first winter cycle with their treatment and hoping for the same if not better results. Probably a little more than treating it yourself but results have been much better.

Fairway Lawns has cared for our yard and shrubbery for several years now, and we have always been happy with the services provided. They come when they are supposed to, treat the yard and shrubs properly, close the yard gate so the pup cannot get out, and leave no mess. One big plus is that the same people come, month in - month out; in other words, no strangers who are unfamiliar with us and our landscape. Considering all they do and considering that they are only a call away, i think the services are reasonably priced. The technicians always leave a written report at the front door when they finish up.

Better pricing than the other major companies, excellent service, great company. Best looking lawn on the block!

I had another company and had a lot of weeds - and excuses went I ask about them. My neighbor had a weed free yard so I ask him which lawn care service he used. He recommended Fairway Lawns, I Went with them and have had excellent results. Weed free lawn for two years now.

This is my first attempt of using a professional lawn herbicide company after many tries of do-it-yourself and failing. I am very pleased with Fairway Lawn Care s service and professional technicians and staff. Bravo!

Having moved to the Augusta area we did not know the best way to take care of our Bermuda grass. Fairway Lawns have shared what we need to be doing with our yard. I only wish I could get them for our home in FL.

A man from Fairway Lawns just parked in front of my property to fill the bin on the tractor then run their tractor over my lawn to get to the neighbors. They had easier access to my neighbors property from in front of their house.

Update: I walked past 4 houses in my neighborhood that had all just been recently treated by Fairway Lawns. As you can see in the pics, the technician left fertilizer granules (the tiny white specs) in the gutter and did not clean up some even right next to a storm drain. This is how harmful chemicals get into our drinking water... I will not use a service provider who is sloppy and careless like them... Previous review: I called for an estimate because several of my neighbors use their service, I got a call yesterday from the technician saying they were going to be coming today and I asked what time they would be coming by because I wanted to speak with them. They said 11-2. So today I stayed home all day waiting for the technician to come by. My truck was parked in the driveway so I was clearly home, or at least it should been a clue that someone was home. After 2pm I walk out my front door to find that an estimate was left. I checked my doorbell to make sure it was working because no one rang my doorbell or knocked. I called their customer service number and explained that I had been waiting all day to see someone havent even left my house to go get lunch. They say that shouldnt have happened thank me for letting them know and say theyre going to talk to the tech and the manager. I get a call back from someone who assume is the manager and before I even explain or say anything the guy says I didnt know you wanted to meet in person and is already being defensive about his poor customer service. He goes on to call me rude because at this point Im agitated by the clear lack of customer service given by presumably the manager. Im told he can already tell Im going to be a difficult customer and he is refusing to service me. The whole conversation could have went differently if instead of taking a defensive position from the onset of the call he simply apologized for the lapse in customer service and made arrangements to meet with me to discuss their lawn care service like I had wasted the entire day waiting to do. Im so disappointed. Wasted a whole day and now I have to find someone else to treat my lawn.

Im not going to lie - we actually called another company first, just because it was what we knew and had heard - they were terrible, wouldnt come quote us for days, when they did it was ridiculous (more than our parents yard who live on way more land), etc. While walking around our neighborhood we kept seeing a few Fairway signs and gave them a call. We are SO glad we did! Extremely reasonable prices and when we called, they came the very next day to quote/do the service! Theyve come 3 times now and our yard is looking great. The last time they were here one of the guys even brought our trash can up (we thought that was so thoughtful). HIGHLY recommend!

Didnt work out for me.

Had a beautiful lawn throughout the summer up until about a month ago. Noticed a few brown patches starting to develop. Called them back out, tech said there was nothing wrong with my lawn , that it was just a reaction to the herbicide they put on it last time. Was told that it would recover. It has gotten worse. A lot worse. I had to apply a fungicide and insect killer to get it to stop. Found that Spiddle bugs were the culprit. Are they not trained to detect these types of things? 6months of paying them to take care of my lawn and this is what I get? No thanks, never again. Doing it myself from now on.

Good folks, very conscientious, much cheaper than the competition

Best lawn care. Watched it turn my new neighbors nightmare into a better yard than mine in 2 months. Made me jealous enough to hire them.

Many people in my development use Fairway so I decided to try them. Ignored my emails for requested services and quoted me something completely different. Eventually worked it out and the first visits made a big difference. And then things started to change. Less frequent visits. I reported dying patches of lawn that turned out to be mole crickets and was affecting nearly my whole street. Fairway said they came out but never had (I work from home so I know). Treatment was costly but not a value once problem was established as you need to pre-treat for them (per their own website). When I told them I did not want the treatment they promptly dropped me as a customer and did not even inform me that they had done so. Not at all professional and only good until your lawn needs something more than fertilizer. Stay away !!!

The products they use will not take care of your weeds and once they treat your lawn, the grass will turn yellow. When I called them about my weed problem, it took them almost three weeks to come back to my house. The same thing happened last year. I don t recommend!!!

Fix your tech. My last guys all of them were great. We used to give them cold water and Starbucks coffee. This new guy came to my house today and was seriously rude and argumentative. I have a circle around my tree in the front yard full of flowers. It was so full and thick you couldnt see the ground. Now its less than 50% of its glory and he sees my lawn once and knows its just naturally happening and said it was the heat, then said it was not enough water then too much in a spot then said he didnt know. He didnt even know if they were marigolds which are pretty hard to mess up. Then your going to be rude to me in my front yard. Always had good things to say and helped spread the word about this company and even left thier signs up for days so everyone could see the advertisement. You guys need to fire that rep that came out to treat my shrubs and trees. He also didnt even do his job he just left and went to the next house.

At first Fairway Lawn was ok, then I asked them to service the lawn at my other house and thats when thing got complicated, they said they didnt get the payment, I contacted Wellsfargo to make sure they received the payment, then they change their story, they only service my lawn in January to maybe February, maybe once in November or so, they service my lawn four times and charged me for five, and every two week they sent me a notice I owe them a payment. We keep going back and forth for about six month, finally I said take the money, never come back on my property again.

We really like them in general. But back in May they didn t come for like two months we actually had to call them and ask why they hadn t come and they didn t really have a reason or offer an apology. It was like a get over it attitude we will get to you sometime next week.

I am writing this review to any homeowner that has Centipede grass and is considering Fairway Lawns. The company was recommended to me so I made an appointment which was for 4/13/18 (ominous date huh!). The technician arrived at 9.15, within the one hour slot and I went outside to meet him. Me Good morning how are you doing? Tech I was doing well until I saw you had Centipede Surprised look from me the potential customer Me Why, dont you like Centipede Tech Nobody likes Centipede, it is too sensitive Me Then I guess we dont really have anything more to discuss, I will seek service elsewhere My suggestion to Fairway Lawns is to publish on your website that you really dont like dealing with Centipede so that potential customers may make an informed judgement when seeking a service. Currently waiting for a call from the manager so I may register my disappointment after having been referred.

Great place to deliver and friendly people

We too were a former customer of Scotts Lawn Service and were very disappointed after they were bought out by TruGreen, as our prior service from TruGreen was also poor. But we have been very pleased with Fairway Lawns in the 2+ years we have used them. They are very responsive to concerns and willingly answer your questions. They do not try to sell you unneeded services, and they contact you 24 hours in advance with the flexibility to reschedule if the timing is not good for you or your lawn. Aaron is especially helpful.

I have hired three others lawn services since i moved to Grovetown, and by far, FairWay Lawns is the only Company that actually take care of your lawn. The best Customer service every time you call, and the most knowledgeable technicians and specialists in the SE region.

I don t know why these guys only have five reviews at this point. We have been beyond pleased with them since transferring service over a year ago. George does a great job and is very purposeful about letting us know in a day in advance of his arrival. Our yard always look great. They are trustworthy and dependable! Give them a try for sure!

We were with Scotts for 4 years when they were bought out by TruGreen. TruGreen was beyond horrible. Billing without even doing the work, not following through with commitments, weeds everywhere, etc. We switched over to Fairway and have been very pleased at every step. The crew is very thorough and polite. They really do an amazing job and seem to have solid values and dedication to doing a great job. They cleaned up the TruGreen mess quickly and the property is beautiful. Better rates, better service, better results is what we have with Fairway.
