I have NEVER seen grass so green, and full. I am absolutely amazed at how good our yard looks. The neighbors need to catch up with us & Southern Lawns! I will not use anybody other than Southern Lawns from now on. I forgot the man's name that did everything, but he went above & beyond, and I will for sure call to make sure he is recognized!
I bought a new build and the lawn was full of weeds. Southern Lawns came out and let me know in detail what they could do to get rid of them. They have had great communication and always here when they say they will be.
This company has done a fantastic job keeping the weeds out of my yard. From the first spray, I could really tell a difference! Price is affordable and they do the work properly!
Great at first then my back yard which was green and full died they tried to blame it on winter kill but agreed if I would wait 30 days and if it still was no better they would sod that area but not do business with me anymore. I was like ok thats odd but ok. Well 30 days went by still no better and no word from them I started calling them. Long story short my back yard is still dead in a huge spot I didnt even entertain this summer because of it. It looks terrible they did come out and do a so called special treatment to the area, that did not help. I did not pay for the last 2 services because of the way my yard looks, however they have turned my account over to collections. What a way to run a business when Im out and my yard looks the way it does. It will cost me $2000 to get the sod replaced.
Last year, I purchased a home that had a gorgeous yard. Despite trying multiple different things, the weeds took over during the winter. I called Southern Lawns for their weed control services. They have been out a mere one time to spray, and my yard looks absolutely gorgeous again. I had used TruGreen years ago, and they were awful, so I didn’t expect much. Well, I am amazed, and hoping that they can keep it up. I highly recommend them. Thank you, Southern Lawns!
These guys rock! My previous lawn service company had gotten my lawn into such poor shape, I thought we might have to re-sod parts of it. I had bald spots, weeds and yellow grass all over the place. It was ugly. The Southern Lawns guys turned it around with just one treatment! Within a month or so, my lawn was looking lush and green again. They are very responsive and address any concerns or questions promptly and cheerfully. And, their prices are less than the other guys! Quality, courtesy and a reasonable price. What's not to love?

Asked for an estimate through the website and then the tech just showed up and sprayed our lawn the following day. We never agreed to these services! Stopped the tech 2 months in a row but still got a bill for the services. Went to collections so I called the office and got the lovely Ms. Ann Marie. She is by far one of the rudest people Ive ever spoken with. Kept asking why I just now am calling. Well I just now got something from collections and youre missing the point of these services werent done and I never agreed to have techs on my property. I asked for a manager and got Reynolds, he was pleasant and apologized vehemently for the mix up once I mentioned pulling our doorbell footage of myself stopping the tech from spraying and reminded him that they do not have any signatures agreeing to services. He assured me that the account would be wiped clean but only time will tell.

I used this business for several years, last year they went up on prices for their services and I called them asking why they went up so much because they were only doing my front lawn which is a very small plot. They told me they went up on prices due to the cost of gas, etc....Well, I told them politely I would like to cancel my service because I felt it was too much. The lady working there instantly got very rude with me and asked me as she raised her voice.... Are you really going to cancel the service because of the increase?! Are you serious?! Now that came across to me as very rude and disrespectful. I ended the conversation and thanked them. I got an email from the owner stating that they would go back to the regular price if I would come back. At that point, the decision was made, and I would never use their service again. Its amazing how a small conversation with an employee there will turn away a decade loyal customer.
My lawn has never never looked better. All thanks to Lamar. I have fired every past lawn care provider I have had. Recommend Southern Lawn especially Lamar.

Have had weeds in my yard all summer that have not been taken care of by Southern Lawns. This is not the first time I have had this issue. When I called the office, I was told that they are probably weeds that cant be killed. What???? And they will send someone when they could. Im not really happy with that response!!

Youre not going to find a better group of people to do business with. They are always fair, courteous and friendly. Weve been using them at our office, Thompson Insurance, for a couple of years now and they always do a great job. I highly recommend them over any others weve tried in the past.
The people at Southern Lawns seem nice but after two years of their treatments I mostly have crabgrass. I used to have a nice lawn but they destroyed it telling me these treatments were ok for centipede grass but apparently not. Beware!!!

I used another service before who promised to keep my yard true and green but for a hefty price. So far, Southern Lawn has done just as good a job but for a fraction of the price. Ill write another review when I see if Southern Lawn can kill the button weed in my yard that the other service never could defeat. The customer service is much better than the competitors as it is nice to deal with a local person who is friendly but still be able to pay my bill online. I highly recommend Southern Lawns.

Great company...great people. My builder put sod directly over clay. Southern Lawns has worked with me over the past 3 years to improve soil health. The have customized treatments based on soil samples and have routinely given me advice on improving the soil. Today, I have beautiful green grass that grows uniformly throughout.
