I have worked with the team at cutting edge for several years now, and it has been a very positive experience. We have worked with them on landscaping projects, water drainage, projects, regular lawn maintenance, and even on a playset for my kids. I appreciate the local ownership and leadership and plan to continue working with them on our regular maintenance needs and future projects.

We hired Cutting Edge to plant sod, relocate irrigation heads, and bury our downspouts. They were very easy to work with and had great ideas for how to fix our mess of a backyard. They have excellent customer service and were very easy to communicate with. We will definitely hire them again in the future!

We have been Cutting Edge customers for years having them provide routine lawn maintenance, landscape and irrigation needs; but also complete backyard makeovers. This past fall, we worked with Cutting Edge on one of the biggest project we have undertaken, involving multiple contractors and a lot of demo and rebuilding. Cutting Edge was consistently amazing throughout the entire process. They frequently communicated throughout the project and offered multiple solutions to achieve our goals. In the end, we were left with the most beautiful backyard that we never could have imagined possible. One point to note, if there is something that you are thinking about, ASK them. Jeffery and crew did an outstanding job transforming our front landscaping. Beautiful zoysia replaced worn out tifton Bermuda. Lots of new shrubs that require less pruning and are drought tolerant as well as beautiful. Phillip listened to my landscape needs and delivered a lovely and refreshed landscape.

Cutting Edge did a backyard renovation and installed a Rainbow playscape at my home. They did a phenomenal job from the initial planning and budgeting to executing a large project in an efficient manner thanks to their hard working employees. Cutting Edge is the best of the best lawn care in our area! For starters, I don t think you can find better customer service at any business in town. Cutting Edge is so much more than just the company that takes care of our yards - they truly take care of our family. We found Cutting Edge when my parents needed someone to maintain their lawn after my dad s dementia advanced to the point he could no longer do it. Cutting Edge came out quickly, got us a quote, and we ve been on a regular schedule with them ever since. When my daughter was diagnosed with a severe fire ant allergy, I called Phil and he had a team out the very next morning to treat my mom s yard and mine. When we bought a new house, Phil made sure the yard was treated for fire ants the day after we closed. Cutting Edge really is taking care of our whole family and giving me peace of mind that my daughter is safe when she s outside. I don t think you can find another lawn service that will take care of your family in that way. They ve now installed two beautiful flagstone patios for our homes - the workers are always kind, professional, and so good at what they do! I cannot recommend them enough, and I do recommend them to anyone looking for lawn care. Truly the best in the business!

Jamie and his guys could not have been easier to work with. They provided a quote to renovate the sod and install french drains at our home. They were professional, showed up when they said they would, completed the job in just two days, and charged a reasonable amount for the work they performed. Ive had Cutting Edge do commercial installs in the past, and will continue to use them in the future.

They never called back

Just started using Cutting Edge May 1. We discussed what needed to be done and May 1 they started work on the front yard. New flower beds, redo of old ones. Later came to remove some old plants and replace with ones we desired more. Checked out and made repairs on our irrigation system, put down pine straw. Phillipe stayed in regular contact with me. The crews (and Phillipe and Scott Graham the irrigation specialist) were professional, worked efficiently, and the yard has never looked better. The weed control, pest control, etc. will come later and I anticipate equally great service as so far. Highly recommend them.

My husband and I couldn t recommend Cutting Edge enough!! We had just bought a new home and our yard was a disaster. The owner Jamie came out and personally met with us to get an idea of what we wanted done. Within a few days, he emailed us a design plan. He worked with our budget and was able to give us everything we wanted. He answered all of our emails within a timely manner and was always in contact with us. His landscaping crew was fabulous! We were wanting our yard completed by Thanksgiving and they made it happen. They worked for two weeks straight- rain and shine!! Our yard looks absolutely amazing!! Cutting Edge exceeded our expectations and we ll be using them for future projects and continuing yard maintenance.

Any issues (there haven t been many) are easily addressed: the best customer service from the top down! They are transparent with billing and reliably provide service that is agreed to. I cannot recommend Cutting Edge enough! Weve hired them 4 times for various projects - from hardscaping to basic end of yard clean up. They have always come through - on-time (I dare say early) - and stand behind their quality of their work. If you have any issues, they will make it right. Phillipe does a fantastic job in making sure you are getting everything you want, and offering advice to guide decisions. Theres a reason hes been with Cutting Edge since almost the beginning. For the guys doing the work, the crews are amazing. Victorino did both our hardscape projects (rock retaining wall and several stone edging areas). Absolutely beautiful work.

Cutting Edge Lawn Service has taken care of the lawn and landscaping needs at our home for 9 years including installation of plant and lawn materials, irrigation system work, routine maintenance of lawn and beds, and landscape feature design. They have always exceeded our expectations and have provided prompt and courteous service at a reasonable price. We could not recommend them more highly.

Cutting Edge re-landscaped most of my yard. From the first contact Jamie was professional and patient with me. We amended plans several times. Jamie is creative and does not rush the project. We waited several weeks to get quality materials. The install took about a week. Jamies crew cleaned up every evening before they left and I was updated on the progress. The final product is beyond my expectations. Jamies guys still come to my home to check on plants. There have been a few minor issues and Jamie fixes immediately. I have landscaped several homes and have never used a landscaper that was as good as Cutting Edge. Not even close.

I contacted Cutting Edge last Fall (Fall 2020) to begin a total yard makeover. They listened intently to what we wanted and presented us with a comprehensive plan. We discussed the plan and made a few changes with absolutely no problems. They were very responsive and communicated when they would begin the project and what to expect when. Once they started, they did not stop until the entire project was finished. They still come by almost every day to make sure the plants, trees, shrubs and sod are doing okay and growing/adapting as they should. Their guys are knowledgeable and professional beyond words. They worked with the companies I hired to perform other needed changes on the outside of my home and made everything easy. The result is absolutely stunning. I have talked to more neighbors the past 6 weeks than in 23 years of living here! Everyone is in awe of the transformation. The best part is that I know they will stand behind their work forever and will always answer any number of the questions I ask. If you want the best, with the best customer service and people, use Cutting Edge. No, they wont be the cheapest, but you wont regret one penny you spend.

Cutting Edge has been our lawn service for many, many years. They always provide excellent service whether it is maintaining our lawn, pruning shrubbery or servicing our sprinkler system. When a request is made for additional work, it is done in a timely manner.

Cutting Edge Lawn Service did a total new look for the front of our house that I have wanted for more than 30 years. Locally owned by AU grad who understands what works in our part of Alabama. They can do hardscape and landscapes as well as plant areas for children. Jamie Brady, the owner is very creative.

Easy to work and do very good work. Fit me in to get my yard sprayed quickly and it looks 100 times better. Highly recommend!
