I used Tim’s complete landscaping to have them install a fence, build a garden bed border and fix an issue with the retaining wall. The garden bed and retaining wall went great but the attention to detail with the fence was seriously lacking. There were several areas of the fence that were not done well and the arbor was not centered. Photos attached. They did get people out to fix these issues after a few weeks. Though in one spot they simply moved an issue to the other side. I then noticed that half of the fence was installed on top of the garden bed and was not at all stable and swayed with the tiniest bump, unfortunately I cannot attach a video. Overall the attention to detail and workmanship was seriously lacking. If you are looking to have a fence built, I would go with another company.
*Update* - Editing to say that since this review, Tim, David and their team have done a lot to rectify the situation. They came out and refreshed our beds with new mulch, took away all of the dead plants, and replanted them with fresh plants in a much more pleasing design. Tim and David were both very receptive to feedback and I am confident that our original experience was an exception to the way this company normally does business. It seems that most of our issues were due to an employee transition and they seem to have fixed the situation.*** We experienced extremely poor communication from this company. We had a project manager come out and told him everything that we wanted done, knowing that we were going to have to cut down due to budget. He took multiple videos of everything we asked for. We asked him to write a proposal that included everything we talked about. After multiple emails and phone conversations, we agreed to do only the front yard and not the back. We paid our deposit and then did not hear from the company for three weeks. After emailing to say that we were going to want our money back, they finally called to say we were on the schedule for August 5. On August 5, a new project manager called to say that our old one had quit and taken all the videos with him. When the team showed up on August 6, we realized that they were going in totally blind and there was a huge discrepancy between what we had discussed with our old project manager and what was explicitly listed on the proposal. Also, based on the proposal, our old project manager had grossly over estimated how many plants we required. The new project manager took on the project site unseen, but assured us he would take care of us. He clearly did not do his due diligence. Because of the poor communication, it felt extremely shady and like we had been baited and switched along with totally overcharged for the work done. We couldn’t fit 3 hydrangea bushes and the company refused to take them back or refund us the money, leaving us to try to sell them on Facebook marketplace. They also ordered hydrangea bushes that required afternoon shade and planted them in a full sun bed. We tried desperately to take care of everything planted, but three weeks later, most of the plants they assured us would work have died. All I can say is, if you’re going to use this company, make sure you have a paper trail of everything you discuss with the project manager and ask for a physical mock up of the plans before you sign or pay. It definitely felt like once they had our money, all they cared about was covering themselves rather than caring for the customer.
Tim’s Complete Landscaping did a fairly large patio project for us. We did have some unforeseen challenges along the way which caused the project to get extended. However, the measure of a company, imo, is how they respond. They maintained professional communication and were flexible enough to adapt and finish with a quality end product. We are very happy with the results. David and Nic were a pleasure to work with and will definitely keep Tim’s in mind for future projects.
Including some pictures before and after: I have been so impressed with Tims Landscaping as they redid our backyard. The common theme with them seemed to be "get it right" and "do it right." I cannot speak high enough about our experience with Tims Landscaping. The quality, and ease to work with is absolutely exceptional. The search for a backyard remodel stops at Tims Landscaping. From our first encounter with their estimator to get a bid. My wife and I were surprised with the amount of knowledge and ideas that were brought to the table. They were able to describe all processes and help us envision what could be in our yard. Next steps working with David to dial the final quote was exceptional. David was able to really help us understand costs of each part of the project. We loved the 3D design he was able to put together. It really brought our vision to life. As somebody who had been throwing around ideas for the last two years, seeing it drawn up was fantastic. As we started and throughout the entire project we could not have been happier with Mario our assigned project manger and his crew. Mario really cares, and fully embodies the "get it right" and "do it right" mentality. Very easy to communicate with, and very detailed when it comes to imagining something as simple as how close we want to place steps together. Mario knows his stuff, and is an essential resource. As for the crew, they showed up on time, did a great job daily, and were extremely polite. I was very impressed by Jose's tractor controls. A big part of our project was to pull rocks out of the slope in our yard and then re stack them neatly. As you can see by the pictures, its incredible work. I was also very impressed by Alejandro's (and Jose's) ability to build a block wall. They had it dug out, gravel leveled and the bottom retainer wall done in 2 days. Alejandro was also very impressive to watch as Jose operated the tractor stacking rocks, he was able to make them all fit tightly together.
We engaged Tim's to come and perform a major spring cleanup of our yard. We've had two children over the past 2 years, so things had gotten a little out of hand. Tim's came out and did a walk around the property with us within a few days of reaching out. They spent a few minutes going over what we wanted and then took videos and pictures to finalize the quote. The quote we received wasn't cheap, but it was competitive with other quotes we received. Our property was fit into the schedule within 2 weeks and Tim's came out with a crew of of 3 or 4. They spent the whole day at our property and came back to finish off the next day. My wife and I were impressed with the crews attention to detail. We spent a good amount of time watching them work and we could tell they cared about providing a quality service. They weren't just going through the motions. We also asked Tim's to cover most of our yard in mulch. Our property is about a quarter of an acre on a severe slope with difficult access to the backyard. Instead of hauling mulch to the back, Tim's worked with a third party contractor to come and blow mulch throughout the yard. I was happy and impressed with Tim's willingness to engage third parties when they're better equipped for a job. After seeing the results, we are signing up for Tim's regular maintenance. We're very happy and we hope the maintenance program will take some of the load off my wife and I as we care for a newborn and a toddler.
Tim’s landscape updated our front yard by removing all the grass, rebuilding a rock wall and adding a flagstone path. They brought in three way material to fill the area and planted all the new landscaping plants. The team did an excellent job, they showed up on time and completed the work on schedule. Adam and Mario were responsive when we had questions and very accommodating when we made minor changes to the landscape plan. I highly recommend Tim’s for major landscaping projects.
I must say the guys and gals from TCLM are very helpful and wonderful at their job. From my first inquiry on the phone to the final touches, they have delivered! I wanted to create a more open and welcoming back yard for my family, I envisioned what I wanted and they made it reality. I contacted Tim's Complete Landscape Management after several no shows and uncomfortable meetings with a number of landscape companies. I wanted to completely redo my backyard and make it as low to no maintenance as possible (senior citizen here), while still having some area for a little garden. Dave showed up on time and with ideas and materials that met my needs and my budget. He was easy to communicate with, and he and his crew always showed up on time and were friendly and hardworking. The access to my backyard was difficult and the crew managed that well. The cleanup afterwards was awesome. My neighbors were impressed! I am adding a couple before, during, and after pictures. Tims Complete Landscaping is great. David Peterson came out when he said he would, and we talked about what I wanted done. He took pictures and sent me a proposal, which we accepted. Mario and his crew arrived on time, and we went over what was going to be done. His crew were courteous and professional. They exceeded my expectations. We are very happy with the results!

New sod lay d down, new retaining wall added and joined with existing wall. Work was very good, workers easy to work with.
Wonderful job leveling and putting in sod and then also cleaning out the flower beds and putting new edging and rocks. We were challenged throughout the project with bad weather but they always kept us updated and communicated fabulously with us.

I had a swath of dead black berries that was between a wire fence and the beginning of the undeveloped part of the property. They somehow got in there (a narrow space) and got them out without ripping themselves to shreds and WOW! the difference is amazing. It took them all day and I was working from home but there wasnt any interruptions, on Zoom the power equipment couldnt be heard and the men were so respectful and good at what they do.

I have used Tims for over 10 years now. He has maintained my home, my rental home, my fathers home, and 2 office buildings. I am very pleased with their work, his prices and his character. Account managers take great notes of all those little things and make sure the crew is communicated with well! The crews are always friendly and do a great job. They have a great communication / billing system that can be 100% email / web driven, dont have to pickup the phone every time you want to communicate!

I couldn t be happier with Tim s Complete Landscaping. They were easy to get hold of, came when they said they would come, did a great job on what we agreed to, and were great to work with. It s pretty rare to be able to say that about any contractor, especially in landscape work. I know who I m going to use in the future.

Took them nearly 2 weeks to come to give me an estimate for a Fall over-seed and yard clean up. When the sales guy came for the quote he barely said anything, didnt ask me questions, didnt walk me through anything of what they would do. He said he was going to walk the yard to take video and that Id have an estimate the next day. The whole interaction was maybe 3 minutes. When I got the quote it was well above 3x what I was expecting to pay. My yard isnt overly big or overgrown so to see an amount that high was laughable. I will not be calling them for quotes again.

I recently moved to a new home and was so caught up in other tasks that by the time I looked around at my landscaping in my front and back yards I had let it go for too long. I needed help! Kyle came with clear questions for me and then did everything asked and beyond. His team had great attention to the details - cleaned-up and removed the yard waste, did yard maintenance that included hand weeding all of the flower beds, edging, pruning and mowing. Kyle and his team did this while being very polite and professional, showing great patience when I was unsure what I wanted and helped me figure it out together. Tim s Complete Landscaping for has done an outstanding job caring for the landscaping at our second home. It always looks just natural like nothing s been done to it because it stays looking the same. The meaning here is that weeds are gone, dead leaves do not accumulate, plants are kept trimmed to the extent they can be, etc., which keeps the place looking nice. UPDATE: The operations manager contacted me and sent a crew out to fix the issues with the fabric. He was very apologetic and sincerely wanted to make things right. After the crew finished, the lead person had me do a walkthrough with him to make sure everything was as it should be. Theyve also hired more office staff so phone calls and emails are now being received and answered. I appreciate that they wanted to ensure that this was resolved to my satisfaction. They were nice enough, but the work wasnt quite up to par. Rocks wound up in our catch basin (which my husband had to point out to them) after they laid new 5/8 minus. When they laid the landscape fabric they didnt use landscape staples to hold it in place underneath the new beauty bark so it buckles. They totally missed several bulbs coming up and sprinkler heads when they laid the fabric. Ive called several times to have them come back to fix these things, but no one EVER answers the phone or returns my phone messages.
Tims Complete has been helping me with an annual end of summer yard clean up for three years now. They do a great job, have very fair prices, and great customer service. Last year they also did a landscaping project for us that included replacing a small, ugly dead lawn with gravel. It looks great and Id highly recommend them for any landscaping project.
I was impressed by a neighbors yard and landscaping and noticed Tims did their work. I called for an estimate for some specifics I saw in their yard. Due to Tims work demands we waited several weeks but it was WORTH IT! Matthew and his crew were very courteous and hard working. The landscaping done is beyond what I had hoped for and I am so proud of our homes appearance now. I would venture to say it increases the value of our home. We needed a complete overall of our property both front and backyard and these guys did great work! Their whole team is excellent in communication and providing a realistic bid and e-mail updates on scheduling dates. There was one bush that was put in that was smaller than I wanted/expected and they listened to my concerns, and swapped it out to meet my expectations without any issue! I will absolutely use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking, seamless communication, great quality work, done quickly and on budget!!

I contacted the office and they said they would be out to perform the services requested and could follow through quickly. However, they were three weeks late and charged me well over the agreed upon quote. I have never been so dissatisfied and disrespected by a business and just want to warn others before they jump into bed with a company that will never ever follow through on their contracts.
Tims Complete has done an awesome job with overhauling the landscaping in our home. They worked meticulously to replace the existing plants, reshape the lawn edges, bring in new mulch, and install new stone paths. They also coordinated with the nursery to get the flowers, plants, and trees we wanted and worked with the irrigation team to get the plants and lawn the appropriate water. Every person we worked with has been an absolute professional, and despite this being a project with many moving parts spanning a couple weeks, the team left the workspace clean and free of debris after completing work every day which we greatly appreciated. We are very pleased with the work theyve done and highly recommend them.

Weve owned our house for a few years and have had a large amount of work done and lots of crews/companies on our property. We have never had an experience like this. This saga began in late April and just finished last week at the end of July. Let me clarify right away that the crew and everyone we met in person was fantastic. It was the communication side that was absolutely abysmal. We we were originally told it would take about 3 weeks to get someone out, but we didnt even get a scheduled date for someone to show up until a month after we got our quote. We kept being told we would receive a date on x day, and then that day would pass with no word. When our scheduled day came, they were a no call/no show. We realize we should have backed out at this point, but we had already paid the deposit. After we asked what was going on, we were told they would be by later that week, which they were. While the crew was already working we received an email saying they would start work the following Monday... they were already there. It was just a mess of communication. There was an error in our yard where a lawn extension was supposed to be made that did not happen. After coming out to look at it, they said they would get a crew to come out and fix it. A month passed, and we received a past due notice... for work that wasnt even finished. After emailing back explaining that we were still waiting for the work to be done, they finally fixed their mistake in our yard. I am absolutely shocked at all the great reviews, we chose the company based on them and never would have guessed that our experience would be like this. We will not be using this company in the future.

We invited Tims Complete Landscape to for a cleanup project removing tons of unwanted weedy vegetation and leveling out a large strip of land in our driveway. A representative was quick to get out and give a us a free estimate with multiple line items that came in at the right price. When it came to the work a 3 person crew was out working over the course of two days with non stop rain. I have never seen a more dedicated hard working crew that got the job done with no excuses or lapses in their quality of work. We will be using Tims Complete Landscape in the future for all of our landscaping needs.
Tims Complete Landscape has taken care of my lawn for a few years now. They have always been great and easy to work with. They have a high level of service for their customers, especially after storms. I had a tree come down in my driveway and they were there the same day, cut the tree and hauled away. I wish I could take them with me to my new house (out of state!).

Requested a reconstruction of an old brick walkway and installation of a garden in an area where grass would not grow. Trusted the team to do the work while I was out of town. Upon my return, I was absolutely blown away by the great job they did!! I cant even begin to tell you how great this team is. They discuss what you want, work to fully understand it, and then are open to suggestions for improvements. We have had three companies maintain our yard and gardens, and Tims is hands-down the best! What a outstanding company. I could not be happier. My backyard was a mess until I asked Tims Landscaping to come over and give me a bid. I found them by watching my neighbors yard get work done. And I wanted some of that I told myself. My wife and I have our dream back yard. Before it was a grassy bald spot, that nothing would grow. Under the deck was always a mess and a eye soar. These guys went way beyond anything we ever expected. The raised beds gave us new garden space. Very exciting for my wife and I. The hot tub surround was just a grassy knowl with dirt always sliding down on the hot tub patio. These guys do not take short cuts and stand bye there word. We are not used to that. Wish they worked on homes for remodeling. Woulda saved us a lot of headaches. I have lots more pics but google cut me off. Hats off to these guys. What a pleasure. I never met a more hard working crew. Very orderly and always start at 8am. Each member of there crew I got to personalize very well and they have very hard workers. If anyone needs some landscaping work done, no matter how involved, I would heartily recommend Tims. I just had phase 1 of my front yard completed and the team of Mario and Dom did an excellent job. They went the extra mile in almost ever instance to make sure I had what I expected. These guys were awesome. My first contact, Dave was also excellent and he kept me posted every step of the way. I have to say that after several disappointing experiences with other Landscaping companies, this was a very refreshing experience.

Tims Landscaping was absolutely a great choice for the scope of work I was seeking out in preparation for selling my first house. They were very respectful to me and in turn I made sure to take care of them as it was very hot and the work being done was definitely hard work. Carlos and Daniel are stand up guys and are really good at what they do. Highly recommend this company and i will be a future customer for sure! Great work you guys and gals!
Good work and very hard working courteous group of gentlemen. They really took the time to hear me out on issues that I needed taken care of especially in removal of shrubs and plants. There were some missed items that did not get done but came out the next day and took care of it. I will work with Tims Landscaping again.

Tims landscaping is probably one of the worst ran companies Ive ever experience. The turnover at this company is extremely bad because of the owner Tim and his abilities to run a company. I would give them less than one star if that was an option. I highly recommend not using this landscape company for anything.
I am very happy with the work that Tims crew did. We had all kinds of scheduling issues due to the snow, but Tim worked with me the whole time to help me meet my deadlines. Tim was very professional, his quote was lower than the other 3 I got, and his guys performed the work on the days we had scheduled. Very happy and will be calling him again for future projects.
Just wanted to say thank you to your team that came to our house today. I happen to be working from home and was able to observe their work. Weve only been with your service since October, and while I thought paying the same every month when were only getting one service per month Dec-Feb was a little steep, today proved me wrong. I loved that even though the lawn didnt need to (or parts couldnt) be mowed because of the cold and unfortunately the neighbors yard behind us is flooded and has spread over to our backyard, they completely cleared away the leaves in the front, back and side of the house, as well as some edging. The side of the house always is horribly filled with leaves because of the trees in our neighbors yard. We work a lot and during the winter months and go to work in the dark and come home in the dark and its hard to always see the yard. Paying the same $ amount each month seemed high for only one service each month for 3 months, but the weekly service the rest of the year and ALL the extras you do every visit is wonderful and very much appreciated. Cant wait to see the results once Spring and Summer comes. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

We have been using Tims Complete Landscaping since moving to Maple Valley area several years ago. The crews have always been respectful and timely. For projects that have extended over multiple days, they always clean up after a days work. I would recommend TMCL for any landscape project large and small. I also appreciate that Tim ensures the work is exactly what was agreed upon and will put in the extra effort to make it perfect.
We had heard the Tims Complete Landscaping was a very good, reliable company, so we delayed having work on our yard until they were available. I have to say the information about their performance and reliability all turned out to be true. The crew led by Mario worked every minute they were at the project, they very carefully respected areas that needed protection, and they were very careful to clean up after themselves after completion of their work. The project was beautifully completed. It might have cost a little more than we were expecting, but I would not hesitate to have them do another project for us. I would heartily recommend them on any landscape project.

Tim and his team do an fantastic job! I had them out to do their Spring Lawn Package. Wow! They sprayed the moss and weed killer, and checked on it frequently until it was dead, then they got all the moss out, aerated, put down fertilizer, new seed, peat moss, and mowed and edged everything. My lawn looks amazing! Mario and Brian were so nice and followed up with me when they were finished. Amanda in the office called the next day to ask how things went, so impressive! From the estimate to the invoice, exceptional quality and service. Will use them again and refer my family and friends. Thank you Tim and crew!
A poor experience. Bushes were trimmed to seemingly random heights. Their idea of maintaining larger bushes or small trees appears to be to removal all branches that are easily reached, and to ignore the rest of the plant. I have never taken the time to write an internet review of anything before, but this experience warranted my taking the time. FYI.
