Jose Fuentes-Collazo and his company, Infantry Landscaping, have been a wonderful company to work with in addressing my home s lawn-care needs. The company has not only kept my yard mowed regularly, it has also regularly trimmed my shrubs, removed weeds from my retaining wall and driveway, and pulled ivy from some of the large trees around my home. I have been especially appreciative of Infantry Landscaping s communication procedures, which are both clear and quick in responding to customer questions and concerns. For instance, one morning recently, I called the company and left a voicemail asking if a small tree could be picked up and delivered to my home. The company called me within minutes of the voicemail, helped set up a pickup-and-delivery schedule, and delivered the tree by mid-afternoon that day for free! Three months ago, I had to end my relationship with a landscaping company that I had used for over three years. In looking for a new company, I decided to try Infantry Landscaping, wanting to support the efforts of local veterans while hoping to find a company that would provide thorough service. Thus far, that is what I have received from Infantry Landscaping. The company provides fair pricing, quality service, and clear communication procedures and processes. I hope to continue using the company s services in the years to come.

What a great experience! The HOA in in our neighborhood had to replace a wall that had fallen due to faulty design and poor drainage. Infantry Landscaping (IL) did an excellent job! It rapidly provided a professional proposal at a favorable price. There were several factors that made the project difficult. IL was unflappable. It exceeded our expectations. Recently hired Infantry Landscaping to help repair a walkway that was damaged due to a service water line break and to help solve an issue with rats in the crawlspace by agreeing on foundation work and cement to keep them out. Pricing was great and once on the schedule, work was fast and top notch. Really a great team and great work. Will certainly call again for future work. IL even repaired the front lawn with new sod, which i didnt even think to ask for.

We recently hired Infantry landscaping to redo our backyard. What started as a simple project of extending and bricking our backyard patio turned into that plus two gorgeous retaining walls, an outdoor kitchen, a complete overhaul of our front and backyard landscaping equipped with landscape lighting, and a pergola installation. Jose is incredibly customer oriented and easy going. We immediately felt comfortable with him and because of that, just kept adding on to our project. He is an absolute work horse! What I loved about working with him, was if I felt something just wasnt what I had envisioned, he made me feel comfortable enough to voice that opinion and immediately either re-did it or amended it to achieve my vision. The first visit by Jose and his crew at Infantry far exceeded my expectations! They were thorough, careful and left my yard clean and neat. And, reasonably priced

I have used this business for over a year for regular yard maintenance and a couple small projects. They consistently lack in communication despite promises on improvement. They are very hard to reach by phone and it usually takes multiple emails to receive a response. Every other week I typically get an email notification saying my yard will be serviced the next day however, it is 3-5 days later that they typically show up without any updated communication. They also tend to show up on non-mowing weeks as well which results in extra charges. We have had many incidents where the crew showed up and figured out a way to unlock my yard gate from the inside and once where our dogs were let out. The owner did apologize and provide free services from that incident with promises of improved communication. We did see improved communication for about 3 weeks and then it dropped off again. I also recently used them for a small landscaping project. The project was scheduled by the business and then they no showed without communication. After reaching back out twice and then finally asking to cancel, I was miraculously told they would show the next day. I also attempted to reach out with some small concerns after the project was completed however I received no response. I wish the best to this company and hope they are able to improve their practices in the future but at this time will no longer be using or recommending to friends/community. **Update** - after this review the company did reach out and has corrected the landscaping issues.

I had an irrigation pipe burst that required shutting down water to my whole house. After days of run we finally had a couple days of sun and Jose had his crew out on a Sunday morning to fix my problem. Water is running, burst pipe replaced and better insulated. Ill be turning to Infantry Landscaping for all my future needs...even if he wasnt a Marine. ;)

Our french drain system had a significant clog, and the Infantry Landscaping crew did an incredible job resolving it. Two other companies attempted to fix the issue, but only Infantry could diagnose and properly complete the repair as promised. Office Manager Melanie was courteous and responsive; business owner Jose was knowledgeable and professional competitive pricing, too!

In addition to our biweekly lawn maintenance, we used Infantry Landscaping for a big project in our back yard. They extended our back fence 60, cleared out 5 trees, and totally cleaned up all of the overgrowth. In less than a day and a half, we have an amazing new space. We would highly recommend using them for not only regular lawn maintenance, but bigger projects as well!

Jose gave great customer service and they showed up on time to build my fireplace in my backyard. They were very communicative with the process and they gave me several ideas and options on what to do with the backyard designs and proposed great prices for me to work around with. The workers are very understanding with some questions I had during the process of working with my backyard. When they were done they communicated and let me know that the work was done and they let me validate the work before they left and when I felt comfortable about the finished product they left my backyard clean and I am happy with my finished product. I would gladly call them again if I need more improvements with my yard or lawn care.

I had Infantry Landscaping grade my backyard and get it ready for me to start the next step of my backyard project. Jose was very helpful in explaining the next step - topsoil. Infantry Landscaping did a very good job grading and cleaning up my property.

Do you like people that return calls, have good availability or if not communicate when they can show up? Reiterate so you have an understanding prior to making the deal, take actual measurements, and also have a modern convenient payment system? On top of that; concerned with their employees well being and saftey on the job. Makes sure theyre not run into the ground (No landscape pun intended) Even offered advice for the tasks I wanted to DIY. Recommend and planned on using them in the future.

Very nice walkway installation in my back yard area. This isn t just a trade skill but there s an art to it, and the walkway had to match with a connector walkway. They did an excellent job picking and breaking the stones and matching the two walkways. The only constructive criticism I would have is the struggle to communicate since I don t speak Spanish but I can always get google translate to help or the owner on speaker phone. I m very happy with the job!

Called to make an appointment and they gave me a date 10 days out. I got off work and got ready only for no one to show up and ignore phone calls and texts. Very unprofessional

Full disclosure, this review occurred last year during the 2022 mowing season. Last year when I closed on my house, I noticed that Infantry was cutting the grass at a neighbor s house. On 5/14 I approached Alex inquiring about their services, since they were already there. since it was fresh sod, he advised waiting a few weeks. Great sounds like plan. We agreed to a price and mowing every two weeks. Two weeks later (5/28) he came by, and the grass was cut. He arrived on schedule the next two times (6/14 and 6/28). This is where things went south, on 7/14 I inquired if he was still coming since I had not yet seen him. He let me know due to rain that week he was behind, great no problem. He mowed on the next day (7/15) and asked for payment, he was paid that day. Three weeks later (8/4) I asked if he was still coming since it had been three weeks. I have you for tomorrow if the rain allows it. He never came back after and never gave any notice that he could not come back.

We were urgently needing assistance and they came to the rescue! Our sprinklers were continuously leaking and running water. We called at 5pm and they showed up about an hour later. The crew ended up having to stay until 9pm with a couple runs to Home Depot because our irrigation system valve was either corroded or broken. Jose then came back to clean up the next day, which we really appreciated! Then, we realized there was still a slow leak and they came back and had to replace the valve to the sprinkler system as well. We have an old set up. But we are grateful to the crew for going above and beyond, maintaining good communication and not finishing until the job was all done. Thank you!! Would highly recommend.

I ve used 4 different landscaping companies and finally found a great one. Infantry is the company I ve been looking for. Very responsive and takes care of the things I need. And very reasonably priced.

Been using them for years andove the service. They do all of my landscaping and yesterday we had high winds at night which knocked down a tree onto my driveway. They came at 9:30PM for tree removal. Highly recommend.

The team arrived right on time. The lead guy was very professional and discussed all my needs with me to get a good understanding of my vision for my outside oasis. As the day progressed he also asked questions and presented a few new ideas, as I have about an acre of land and his team thought may work better for long term care. Before leaving they walked the property to insure everything was satisfactory to our liking. We even scheduled for them to come back and start a few new projects because, I was very impressed with their work. We just can t wait to see the new projects outcome!

Jose runs a top notch company. The customer service is excellent. Infantry Landscaping built us a stone retaining wall, terraced the side yard, installed new sod, built a stone path, trimmed my azaleas and installed a beautiful hydrangea.

Jose and his team exceeded my expectations for our flagstone patio and dry creekbed projects. A previous contractor install a flagstone patio that just used flagstone. The team at Infantry re used the old flagstone, leveled the surface and mortared the new patio. It is a night and day difference. The were very efficient. What I though would at least 4 day project, they did in a day and half.

Infantry is very quick and professional. We have been with then for probably a year now and they have left our yard looking amazing every time. They are quick and reasonably priced service. I cant imagine using a different service now. They make bill pay easy to use and send reminders when they are coming to service the yard. Most importantly they are very personable. If i have a question I think is random, they answer immediately have have someone come out to do a quote within the day in most cases. We are definitely a customer for life!

Great communication and even better work! From start to finish, working with Jose was a pleasure. He was very communicative and quick to complete our estimate (which is what we paid at the end no surprise charges!). He was at our house every day to check on the work and loop us in on the progress. I ve never worked with a contractor with better communication before. Our project consisted of clearing a back lot, ripping out an old concrete drain around the house and replacing it with a dry creek bed, tearing up and repouring a new concrete slab patio, and landscaping the front of the house. Jose has different specialized teams for each aspect and they were all super hardworking and respectful of our property. For example, we had a dumpster for the lot clearing and concrete removal. Some waste would end up on the street around it as they dumped tree debris and broken concrete in. At the end of each night his team would shovel and sweep the mess off the street and make sure the whole property was tidy. Their attention to detail was amazing! Overall we couldn t be happier with the end results and will be working with Jose and Infantry on all of our outdoor projects go forward.

I had made an appointment and when Jose called me to tell me he was a minute away, i told him i would be right down. I never heard a knock at the door. I waited and waited and called him back but he said that when he knocked on the door i didn t answer so he left. Sorry I couldnt get to the door fast enough Jose. I thought this was very unprofessional.

We had Infantry put in a paver stone patio in our backyard. We were assured that it would be sloped to direct water away from the house. Unfortunately, the first time it rained after our patio was finished, water pooled at the bottom of the stairs from our kitchen (which means we have to deal with a puddle to get out of the house onto the patio) and also redirected water to one of our basement doors -- the exact opposite direction we wanted the water to flow. I contacted Jose (the owner, I believe) about the problem and he said he would take a look. I followed up with him several times but he never did come out. Eventually I stopped hearing from him. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

We were very happy with the work done by Jose and his team. The communication was very good. They worked efficiently, were very friendly, and the work was high quality. When we had minor changes arise, they were accommodating.

Jose and his team did an incredible job with our two retaining walls, mulching and cover sheet. He came a few weeks earlier to do a site inspection and then he showed up with a team of 12 and in 6 hours they transformed our backyard. Will probably use his team to lay turf and do a few other projects now!

Unreliable company. Will charge you for services ahead of time and then not show up. Every time you call their office number, it goes to voicemail. Been waiting on them to cut the grass for 3 weeks and when I finally did get a response, they still did not come the day they told me they were coming.
