I have been using Grantlana for over a year for regular lawn maintenance and they have been awesome! Great communication and quality work.

We were trying to get a small leveling project done. We were given a quote that was reasonable and then, no one showed up. We messaged and they messaged back, we were passed from Christian to Dimitri, to someone else and told to message again and so we did, were told to wait for a call back, we texted multiple times and no one at Grantlanta was able to figure out who was doing the project and when. We texted a few more times, but at this point it s been weeks and we just need to move on to a different company. Grantlanta could be the absolute best at what they do, but that doesn t mean anything if no one actually does the job.

I had them help me with a walk way to my mailbox. Grant showed up with his team and was able to build everything in a couple of hours! Very prompt and courteous service! They also have an awesome service for recycling glass bottles! Love it!

Tom and his team did an incredible job of clearing an immense amount of weed overgrowth and ivy in my yard and cleaning up the space so that I can actually use it! Tom was communicative and listened very patiently to my needs in terms of maintenance and practicality, and delivered on what we discussed beautifully. I was trying to find a company that was local and would provide more customisable care. Grantlanta did not disappoint - Axel came and gave us a quote and once I accepted how much mulch costs these days, I had zero regrets. Axel was so detailed and made my type-A heart very happy. He also happens to be a top notch human being :)

Unfortunately, they were not reliable. First appointment they were late, started and then had to come back out the next day to finish up due to rain. They were supposed to cut down some limbs but didnt, then I had to call to see when theyd be back out. The next time they came out, they didnt complete the job and said theyd be back out the following Monday. However, they didnt show up or respond to the message I sent asking if theyd be there. I had high hopes but was let down by them being not reliable/professional.

Unfortunately, no one ever showed up at the scheduled time after rescheduling twice to give me an estimate.

Grant and his crew come through with quality work every time. Dimitri is a man of his word, as well as a a consummate professional(both are increasingly rare these days with contractors). Book them for your lawn needs and you won t be disappointed

Recently hired GrantLanta to help with some larger projects and regular maintenance at our new home. Couldn t be happier to be working with the best local-Atlanta business. Howard did a great job, and Grant stayed in touch to make sure that everything went well throughout. (Gotta love the RLand marketing artwork too.)

Dimitri and his team did an amazing job laying mulch across the entire perimeter of our backyard. His team was quick, easy to work with and he communicated well throughout the entire process. Couldnt be happier with the results!

We needed some large stone stairs rebuilt after our sewer line replacement and Thomas nailed it. Really happy with the work and price. Worth mentioning that Thomas was also extremely friendly and helpful. 10/10 would definitely work with him again.

Meh. 60% additional cost versus other comparable local teams for 50% less work - and never once hit their commitment agreed to at the start. As a landlord I wanted this to be as set and forget as possible for both me and my tenants, but with an unfortunate series of misses from the beginning (missed part of the lawn on day 1 - should have been a glaring sign, weeding was an afterthought and blamed several times on not enough time (lack of team time management should never be used as an excuse), shrub care was ignored until pressed). For $100 per visit for a relatively easy property the service was incredibly overpriced. After reading the reviews here, perhaps I just got a subpar lackey team. But would not recommend to anyone based on my experience. First impressions are hard to change :-/

I had a horrible experience and hours wasted, trying to plan a project with Spencer and Howard. Very difficult to get them to reply to messages. Ultimately agreed to pay them thousands of dollars to come do weeds and leaves in my yard and still can t get them to put a date on the calendar to show up. after 12 days of back-and-forth for a basic job, I m now having to move on to a different company altogether. I reached out directly to Grant, and never heard back.

Grant and his team have been my go-to for all of my lawn care and hedge-trimming needs for nearly five years now and I am always incredibly happy with the service and results. Easily the most reliable, reasonable, and friendly crew around. Your lawn is in good hands!

Last year we had to replace our sewer line, leaving us with a massive crater in the center of our lawn. Half of our grass was ripped out, and the other half was barely there in the first place. Muhammad from Grantlanta came by for a quote and we knew immediately that he was the guy for the job. Muhammed was not only punctual and professional, he was by the far the most knowledgeable landscaping professional we have encountered (we met with 3 other notable companies in the area). He advised us on bushes we had growing and explained a new landscape design that would maximize space and create a revamped look. We were a little scared to get the quote after being so impressed by his knowledge it ended up being in line with all of the other quotes we received! He came out promptly (days later starting at 7:30am) and removed a ton of ivy from a concrete wall lining our driveway, ripped out some existing bushes that were dying, seeded and plowed our yard after ripping out the grass, and then laid sod. I cried when I pulled up to see the yard for the first time. Muhammad and his team transformed our home and we are beyond grateful. We will never stop referring this incredible team to friends and neighbors!! Thanks, Muhammad!!

Seems like a fine company that is far overworked at the moment. I ran into lots of added fees and actually had to find someone else in the beginning of May, which is pretty difficult since everyone already has set schedules for the season. While they kept cancelling and not showing up, my yard just kept growing. This resulted in a lot of extra fees for me. I wish they would have been upfront in the beginning and said they cant take on any more clients right now.

Amazing experience! Muhammed came out and listened to what I needed done. Promptly provided a quote and they got to work quickly and efficiently. Needed the front yard re-graded to correct water flow/pooling, replaced a dead tree, cleared the beds and planted new boxwoods, cleaned debris in the backyard and seeded that as well Professional, efficient and quality work. I will use them again for other projects.

I really wanted to give this company 5 stars and to continue to do business with them. My lawnmower had broken so I was just trying to find help quickly because my grass was becoming a nuisance. I attempted to go along with 3-4 other companies to have my grass cut. Just a simple lawn mowing, no landscaping, and nothing over the top (I didn t even care about edging or anything crazy in depth). I have a larger than average yard but I don t live on an acre or anything. I usually can cut my entire lawn myself within about 90 minutes, but like I said, broken lawnmower and everything. After much frustration with the other companies not showing up, cancelling, and constant rescheduling, I found Grantlanta. I was able to meet with one of the contractors. He seemed reasonable and helpful at the time. He told me the basic quote and then said it could fluctuate since it was my first time using the company and with the length of grass since it was longer than average. Okay, fine. I was ready to take anyone at that point not thinking much into the situation since it wasn t that complicated. They arrived while I was at work and began around 11 am. 40 minutes later the contractor called me and said the grass was too high, the price I agreed upon was 240$ AND they would have to raise the price to 300$ for cutting my lawn. I wish this was explained a little better to me in the initial visit and quote. I don t remember agreeing to 240$ for grass being mowed nor was I comfortable with the price of service being RAISED TO 300$. I remember 120$ was the basic agreed upon rate for first timers. The contractor explained to me that because the grass was so high, they had to charge double! I m sorry but 120$ to mow a lawn is already high enough. It wasn t until the quote for 300$ was made that I had an issue. There were 3 people at my home for over two hours cutting my grass. The original contractor was not at my home. Not sure what was transpiring, but I had enough at that point. I called the contractor and asked them to finish cutting my grass and that I was going to attempt to find a different solution. The contractor was still very cool and kind in this so I can t be too hard on him or Grant. Grant contacted me and apologized for the situation. Miscommunications occurred and grant along with his contractor were doing their best to amend the situation despite them working at another locations and coordinating with other teams to run their business. I understand that it takes a lot to run a business and work outside for long periods of time while dealing with people like me. However, when I arrived home, I was shocked to see less than half of my lawn mowed. Grass clippings all over my driveway. I would have at least thought they would finish my front yard with 3 men over 2 hours! (Back yard I didn t really care about too much at the time). I hate that I m being this person and leaving a long negative review like this but this is egregious. I hope this doesn t happen with anyone else in the future who utilizes Grantlanta. I don t believe they enjoy negative reviews, no local business would. I m not sure how this will be amended. They seem like great people, but unfortunately based off of this first experience utilizing them, I m not sure I ll be using them again.

Solid. Jallal and his crew of three did a fantastic job taking out and pruning trees/shrubs, mowing, weed whacking, hauling stuff away and cleaning up afterward. Communications were prompt and clear. They showed up on time, friendly, and with donuts! The price, honestly, I think was lower than the amount of work done. Ill be having them out twice per month for maintenance. Who wants to buy my lawnmower? :)

I used Grantlanta lawn for a couple of weeks when I couldnt mow my lawn right before I had to sell my house. I should have been using them much longer! They made my lawn look great, and came when they said they were going to. Good work and reliability are two things somehow in short supply among lawn care specialists in Atlanta, but Grantlanta provides both, so I would recommend them.

I am a neighbor of this fine company. Recently, I got some work done on my yard and needed a new fence installed. I spoke to another company that gave me a quote that was $5000 more than what Grantlanta quoted. my new fence looks immaculate and my backyard feels three times bigger. The main Carpenter is a perfectionist which translates to having my fence look extremely level and street despite my yard not being that. we re spending a lot more time outside now. My dogs are loving the new yard! You can really tell. They run around so fast that I think one of my dogs maybe sprained her leg. I guess she s not used to running around such a large yard. Even my indoor cat is loving the backyard. He would always yell at us when we went outside without him so for the first time, we brought him outside to show him the new fence, and he immediately wanted to go back outside when we brought him in. Thank you for being a great neighbor and for offering such great services.

We wanted to clean up our back yard to be more functional and beautiful - we just didnt have the skill to do it ourselves! Tom came out to brainstorm designs and got what we were hoping for perfectly. He and Julia started work just a few weeks later (it is spring time after all and everyone is landscaping) and completed everything in two days! They were professional, fun and flexible (we threw a curve ball right at the end and they handled it beautifully). So glad we worked with them - our yard feels like an oasis now!

I put in a request to have someone come out and take a look at reviving my struggling backyard with some aerating, minor grading, and gutter repairs. I got a text message from someone representing Grantlanta and we agreed he would show up at 3pm the next day. He was two hours late, and when he showed up and we started talking, he seemed somewhat clueless to what I was asking about. He asked me to send him some ideas, but the reason I reached out is because YOURE SUPPOSED TO BE THE EXPERT. I had someone else from another company contact me about gutter repair, and when I told them what I needed, they never contacted me back. Now Im getting random spam e-mails for home services I didnt ask for. Not the greatest experience or first impression... At least it helped motivate me to do it myself. I get that Grantlanta might be subbing work out to independent contractors, but maybe a better vetting process would be good for business.

Feels weird checking every box on What do you not like about this business, but here we go. I was a customer for almost a year, with biweekly mowing and some occasional extra cleanups. The person would not come on a regular schedule, sometimes an extra week would go by, sometimes a few days. But, I get they use contractors so I chalked it up to that. About 6 weeks ago, the person servicing my lawn either left or was fired and Grantlanta didnt bother to shoot me an email or a text saying my service was stopped. Instead, I had to call in about a month later (just assumed it was a busy week for the usual person servicing), and didnt get an apology or an explanation really. They said theyd send someone to take care of my yard while they found someone else. I got no additional contact in the next few days. Ive sent three emails since to their support channel with no response at all. I shouldnt have to beg to give my money to them. In addition to this, up until ~3 months ago they were sending all passwords to the payment portal in plaintext in billing reminder emails. Which is incredibly concerning from a security perspective. Theyve since moved to a new system, so may not be an issue much longer. Honestly, with how they contract work out, and dont centrally manage scheduling and customer communication, I dont see how Grantlanta adds any value over just using craigslist or nextdoor. Other lawn service providers are cheaper. TL;DR: irregular service, uncommunicative, and overall just not worth the hassle to get my lawn cut.

Grant and Mohammed have helped me keep my yard in shape. Grant has personally handled my front yard maintenance for a few years. Hes been great - on time, fair with pricing, tending to the details and thorough with the work! Ive just moved OTP and will continue to have Grant/his partners help me with my yard maintenance!!

Be wary of who Grantlanta subcontracts your project out to. I inquired about core aeration for my yard. I did not hear back from Grantlanta directly, but recieved a text from an individual who stated he was a subcontractor of Grantlanta. We agreed on a price and date for the work. Aside from a cancellation and being 4+ hours late on the re-scheduled date, the subcontractor did not perform the core aeration as discussed. Instead, he used what was essentially a rototiller to tear up my yard and then left all of the thatch behind for me to rake up. With no signs of aeration and a half-completed dethatching job that I did not request, I contacted the subcontractor to see if there was a misunderstanding. In the texts and calls that followed, he was argumentative, combative, and completely unprofessional. I reached out to Grantlanta to express my concerns in hopes that they would rectify the situation, or at the very least reconsider referring business to this subcontractor, but I received no response. I cant speak to the work Grantlanta completes themselves, but this experience with them and their subcontractor was very poor.

What s NOT to love? Grant and his team do AMAZING work. The professionalism and quality are top notch!!

Jalal and his team of landscapers did an amazing job! I called one morning to see if I could get a quote and within a few hours, Jalal called to see if he could come view the property that day! We had bought a house that was renovated beautifully on the inside but the outside was a mess. We had flower beds put in, sod laid and also had our driveway extended with pavers and slate chips to allow room for another vehicle! All within a week! Very pleased with the work and looking forward to phase 2, the backyard! Definitely recommend Grantlanta Lawn to everyone in the Atlanta area!

Everything was cool my first few cuts. The first point of contact was timely, and would let me know at least 1 day ahead of time if they were coming to my property. The last guy that was cutting my grass did a good job, but scheduling got annoying because they would just pop up and I need the courtesy prior to accommodate moving any vehicles necessary. Also, at one point it was nearly 4 weeks between one of my services, when my agreement was every two weeks. I also requested shrubbery to be cleaned along my fence a total of 3 times, and finally ended up doing it myself out of annoyance. I cant say dont use them, but if your lawncare specialist isnt giving you a proper heads up and not doing what you ask within reason, probably call their office and get a different one.

I am a pretty picky person with high standards. Adam with Grantlanta has been taking care of our yard for at least 2 years, and he s never let us down. If you re looking for someone to cut your grass who pays attention to detail, Adam is your guy. Also, I recently had Jallal and crew put in metal edging and mulch. He was very easy to work with and the project was done within 2 weeks of requesting the quote. Not cheap to do, but better than doing it ourselves!

Highly recommend Grantlanta for yardcare service. We used them for a cleanup job, followed by routine maintenance, and a small beautification project. After they started routine service, flowers were blooming that we didn t even know we had for the 5 years we d been in the house! Garrett was always professional, communicative, and did a great job!

I had Muhammed and his crew come out to do a yard clean up. My front and back yard was filled with invasive weeds, lots of privets and Ivy. They cleaned it all up (even dug out some roots) , mowed my huge overgrown yard, trimmed all my hedges, cut a small tree down and sprayed the weeds so that I wont have to worry about them coming back up. They were on time, swift (yet thorough) and left without leaving a trace of them being there. When I asked Muhammed how I needed to prepare for them to come, he said You dont need to lift a finger, we will do it all. So pleased with the service I received.

GrantLanta is a fantastic company. We needed someone to do a one-time maintenance on our lawn a get the leaves off our roof. Within 1 day of putting in the request they called to come take a look, and the next day they got it all done for a very reasonable price. Fantastic service and extremely nice employees. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Switched to Grantlawn about a year ago and absolutely LOVE them. They are incredibly responsive, provide excellent service, and go way above and beyond. They even helped me source a special tree after our sycamore had to come down.

Grantlanta Lawn did an incredible landscaping job for us. We had let our yard get away from us over the years, and it was a huge mess of random plants and dead patches. We knew it would be a big job, but we had no idea how to go about it- we re talking an extensive redesign and repair job. Tom and Humzah took care of everything- they figured out what plants would work best, drew up a plan, and walked us through it. The quote was very reasonable, especially considering how much of our yard had to be redone. Their crew was efficient- they knocked it out in a few days. I worked with Muhammed and his crew. They removed 6K pounds of trash/yard debris and kudzu out of my yard. They then came back and leveled, seeded and sodded my yard. The work was fantastic! They were able to get me on the schedule right away. While I m sure there are cheaper guys out there, I m willing to pay a bit extra for the responsiveness, professionalism and all together good guy feel you get with this team. Our family will be loyal customers!
