His team broke some of our lawn furniture that has to be moved when the grass is cut. This was known by his team when we were given the estimate and contact. When we emailed Jon, the owner, to let him know this was his response: "First, I understand the situation, and honestly, I'm surprised more damage hasn’t occurred, considering the frequency with which the furniture is being moved. I’ve seen the photos, and it’s clear that the furniture is of high quality. However, it seems it may not be designed to be relocated so often. Typically, furniture meant for frequent movement, like those found at beaches or public pools, is built with tubular frames that are fully connected, minimizing stress points. Unlike your pieces, which have feet or legs that create potential stress areas where they attach to the main body of the chaise, this type of furniture is more prone to wear and tear under frequent moving. That being said, how would you like us to proceed? We’d like to find a solution that you’re happy with." We were blown away by his response, and followed up with an email to let him know we wanted to cancel their services. Below is his response: "As the president of Beyond The Curb Landscaping, I take full responsibility for any misunderstandings. If I had been made aware that furniture needed to be moved, I would not have agreed to this, this falls outside our scope. To my understanding, the furniture was not present during Alvin’s original walkthrough. As president, my top priority is always our associates. We pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of our team members and our remarkably low turnover rate, year after year. Our associates work tirelessly to provide the highest quality lawn and landscape services to our clients, and I am extremely proud of the dedication and passion they bring to their work. I stand behind them because I know they care deeply about what they do, and they reflect the standards we hold at BTC. As president, building strong, positive relationships with our clients is always a priority for me. I’ve been open to resolving the situation and was even willing to replace the furniture if that would make things right. However, you’ve chosen to cancel your service. While I regret that we won’t have the opportunity to continue working with you, I’m grateful to know early that we have different relationship values. We wish you all the best moving forward." As a business owner myself, I would have immediately apologized and offered to replace the furniture asap. Make of it what you will, but I'd avoid Jonny at all costs.
We have been using their yard servicing for a few years and it is truly a life saver! They have the yard look new and trimmed each and every week. Anytime there has been a question or issue they have addressed it immediately. Would definitely recommend them!
Beyond the Curb did an outstanding job on our wall project this past spring. The boys worked hard and it was an on time project in tough weather in a tough space. Highly recommend them for all your landscape needs but for sure on retaining walls! Will use them again no doubt!
We switched our monthly maintenance to Beyond the Curb and are very satisfied with the service. The team is very professional, responsive, and the quality of work is wonderful. The company is well run and on-going communication is effective. The services offered by the company are well thought out and the follow through by the company is great. Very dependable.
This company is high-end first class service. I was stunned after they did the first initial clean-up. My yard has never looked and smelled so good over the past 14 years. They cleaned my driveway and all paved areas extremely well, placed mulch, trimmed branches, and removed all kinds of debris. We didn't realize how bad our previous landscaper was until we hired this company. It is a big difference. Now, they are a little pricey as compared to some other companies; but, you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend Beyond The Curb for residential lawn care and landscaping.
Having been an avid gardener for many years, I am thrilled to have Beyond the Curb on my side as I advance into my older years. I am glad to have this crew available to handle tasks i cannot take care of by myself any more.
Great work, I'm a dogwalker and they are responsible for one of my client's Neighbor's lawn and everytime I see it I gush at its beauty!!! Wish I could afford such awesome service at my recently purchased 1st home!!! Update: We still love BTC! The crew works hard to keep our property looking good and are always very courteous and respectful. Communication with the owner is easy and he is very responsive. Thanks Beyond the Curb for keeping our yard looking great year round! Hard working crew and Jon (the owner) is awesome! They have different tiers of pricing based on your needs and expectations and they also offer specialized services throughout the year as well.

Never showed up to do my project, called and left messages several times. They finally called and said they would be here to do the work August 14th of 2023 and never showed. Wouldnt return phone calls! Very disappointed!!
could give HALF a star if i could. beyond the curb drivers were so rude on the road. they had completely cut my boyfriend off, & proceeded to break check him. on & on again, like are you serious?

Jon- had to reach out and let you know how impressed I am with you and your company. I ve had a lot of landscape companies over the years as a homeowner in many places (Illinois, California, Texas, Florida and Georgia) and NO ONE ever proactively rescheduled due to an upcoming storm. They all took hit the easy button and if your scheduled day was a wash out, sorry, see you next week. The fact that you guys are so proactive, organized and are capable of making this happen is SO IMPRESSIVE! I m sure your teams are working crazy long days to get this all done before hurricane Ian impacts us. As a customer thank you for going Above and Beyond not just the curb, but the exceptional commitment you have to your customers.

Great job! I shouldve taken before and after photos. The workers listened to what I was looking for and made it happen. They paid attention to details. This was especially impressive because it was literally freezing outside while they worked. Thanks again for making my front yard look great.
Contacted the company using their automated system on their website back on February 1st and still have not heard back. I even received a confirmation email that my service estimate request was received. Very disappointed as they have excellent reviews which is not reflected at this time. Will have to look elsewhere.

Beyond the Curb took care of our mulching for the first time this spring. What a wonderful experience! The owner is very responsive, very pleasant to talk to and has a great crew. Brain and Salvador came out, joined later by Jesus and another crew. All of them worked respectful of the property, paid great attention to detail and accomplished the big job in time. Our yard looks as beautiful as ever and we are happy to recommend Beyond the Curb to our friends and neighbors.
Elliott and crew performed replacement planting for several overgrown shrubs. His recommendations for replacements were well-informed. He really knows the landscaping and lighting business. The yard looks amazing.

Talk about great service! Always prompt, professional, and detail oriented. These guys continued to surpass my expectations. The biggest highlight was after a severe tropical storms rolled through these guys made sure to visit all their customers to ensure that debris was picked up and lawns in order. That s customer service! If you are looking for a lawn service, beyond the curb is for you!
The crew at BTC always does a professional job and leaves my lawn and yard looking great! The guys do such a thorough job each time and are friendly and accomodating all the time. Before starting, they check to ensure our dog isnt out in the backyard and they always wave at my children to say hello.
