Love this company. great owner Timely respones. Hired this year and work has been amazing . Mowed and weedeated entire 4 acres for us which leaves me more family time. He has been very polite informative about his prices and when he would be out to get the yard taken care of for us.

Everything started out great with this service. I had to mention cutting the lawn a little shorter a couple times, but other than that no problems. I paid this guy $65 a week—sometimes more—to mow my lawn weekly. After 2-3 months of starting service, I got a bill from the water company for $135 to replace the radio control unit that is attached to the meter—this is how they obtain their monthly meter readings wirelessly. I spoke with the technician at the water company, and he stated that my unit was working fine for the previous months reading, but it was discovered during the latest attempted reading that the wireless unit had been damaged. The tech said the most likely cause was damage from a mower or trimmer, which is how these units are usually damaged. So, I contacted the owner at Yard Gnome (forget his name) and he was immediately resistant and dubious of the whole situation, and even went as far to suggest that the water company was trying to scam me—and then that I was trying to scam him. He refused to acknowledge that there was a even a possibility that he or one of his employees damaged the unit. He kept telling me about his “20 years cutting lawns,” and that he’s never seen anything like that. No one else besides him and his staff have been working in my yard for the last 2-3 months. The conversation didn’t end well. I have reported him to the Central Ohio BBB. My advice is to steer clear of this service provider. He has no integrity and doesn’t take responsibility for damage that he and/or his employees cause on your property.

Called at 7am for an immediate mow on a large, hilly lot. Was given an honest rough estimate upfront and was given the heads up on any extra charges that may increase the price. Job was finished the SAME DAY....it cost a little more but you get what you pay for.

Hired to mow while my house was under contract for sale. Good communication and a quick turnaround time on services. Much more professional than the last person I hired.

what a shady person to hire. He came and quoted for lawn cut ($45) and spring cleaning ($200). A lousy cut, leaves on deck, then no show for cleaning - Well, no words for 5 days, then he billed me 75 for the cut over texting, saying it was long. What was the point of the quote? why did he even come? Refused to pay 75 and he threatened to put a lien on the house. Never get this person near you.
