Absolutely wonderful! I found myself in a situation where I needed a very large tree removed urgently. I called around to all of the local emergent tree removal services and Stephen answered and was very responsive. Almost none of the other services even called me back within 24 hours. Stephen was at the house with an estimate and pulling his guys off of another non-urgent job and getting them at my house in under 20 minutes from the time I called. I cannot recommend them enough and will certainly be doing non-urgent tree removal business with them in the future. If you are in need of tree removal there is no other person you should call!

They decided that literally 5 in the morning was a good time to cut down a tree right outside my window while having excessively loud conversation and constantly scraping the pavement with shovels (instead of brooms for some reason?) and using power equipment that far exceeds the city s noise ordinance for that time. Just absolutely thoughtless, inconsiderate, and unprofessional conduct. The Latine workers diligently worked respectfully and mindfully while the white workers were either on their phone or loudly joking around with no regard for the time of day they were working or the area they were in.

Owner Steve responded immediately and way before business hours to my call about a tree that fell on my house during the night. He arrived within an hour with a decisive plan of action. He returned with his workers within another hour or so. The tree was removed safely, efficiently, and quickly, with no damage to my house or garden plantings. All the branches and wood were chipped and removed, and my walkway and driveway cleared with a leaf blower. The whole project was completed within 6 hours of the tree falling. The replacement tree was just installed and it looks great. I ve already recommended them to other friends and plan to use them again in the fall. Many thanks to Steve and his crews for handling my mess in such a wonderful way.

Fantastic service. Buck Tom took down a 75 ft oak leaning at a steep angle, not easy, in fact dangerous. The men also took down a 40 ft holly, a smaller holly and an old crabapple. They worked as a team and got the job done. They left my property raked and swept. The price was on point. We will not hesitate to use them again.

Fantastic job! Their climber limbed up several large trees in our backyard, lowering each limb carefully to avoid damaging our goldfish pond. Then they tackled our 30-year-old bamboo colony. Removed every bit of it. Very hard workers. First time weve had a tree trimming service leave the job site so clean. Did a very thorough job. Amazing! Will definitely use them again.

Highly recommend Steve Sluder s Buck Tom Services, these guys have taken out trees for my family on several occasions. From fallen across the road to most resent, several trees, one very large one in a difficult spot near my house. No problem at all.

I called for an estimate, they came the next day, the arrived to do the work on time, the pointed out other tree issues that I had that I was not aware of and appreciated that, my property had nightmarish logistics that were complicated...but Steve and his crew are truly professionals and took three huge trees and two smaller ones down and out with no problems. I truly appreciate all of their work and would highly recommend them.

First I d like to say they are a super nice group of guys , what happened I know was a accident one of the trees they cut fell on my drain pipe which is new just got it put in a few months ago my husband was outside when he heard the tree fall so the guys get the tree up off the drain in which it busted the pipe I call the man at Buck Toms and he came and looked at it and he said he was sorry about that and he d come the next day to fix it and it s been 2 weeks and nothing yet.

The BuckTom crew was amazing, very hard working, professional and fun to watch. They did a great job clearing and trimming some trees on our property. They cleaned the yard up and removed all debris. They replaced some Leyland Cypress trees that were dying with Green Giant Arborvitae; we received very good instructions on the care of our new trees.

Steve and his team did a fantastic job removing a massive tree hanging over our house with 0 damage to the house or any surrounding property. They had to use a massive crane and organized everything after only a quick 15 minute in-person consultation. The crane people arrived on the agreed upon day with his crew orchestrating everything, they knocked out a giant white oak hanging over our house, removed the limbs, used a wood chipper to knock out most of the smaller stuff and then hauled off the big logs in a truck that came by later. I will definitely be using BuckTom for any tree work I need done in the future!

Two black walnut trees were growing into our deck and brushing our roof when it was windy. The Buck Tom crew removed trees and debris incredibly quickly. It was quite impressive. The cost for the service seemed reasonable, too. I will definitely be calling them again.

A winter storm knocked down a dead tree in the yard of our house, blocking my tenants wheelchair van. From several states away, I called Buck Toms, who said theyd be out there ASAP--and they were! Within a couple of hours, that tree and its stump were history. Really fantastic experience!

On Saturday evening, a 40 foot Pine fell in our yard during a windstorm. I called BuckTom and spoke to Steve Sluder. He told me when he would come by to give me an estimate. He arrived early, and quoted the job, and then, in his church clothes, cut the top of the tree off to clear my driveway until his crew could arrive the next day, which he said would be cheaper. His crew arrived early, quickly removed the tree, and did such a great job cleaning up that I could hardly tell a tree had fallen in the yard. Steve was extremely friendly, and his crew was very professional and fast. Steve just told me to mail him a check. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a co worker. Did you do a great job? No, you did not. Not even close. Not only did you raise the price from the previous year by $50.00, the firewood you delivered was GREEN. How do I know that? Well, because after it sat for months stacked in my yard, when I did get to it this winter, it was heavy, it had that wet smell, and it took great effort to get it to burn in my stove. So yes, it was green... in fact it was VERY GREEN. Consequently, well not do business again.

Steve and his company did a great job taking out two very tall, very old trees that were threatening to come down on our house. They even came over the day before and stabilized one of the trees with ropes when the wind threatened to take it down before they had a chance to cut. These trees were very close to the house, but BuckTom was very careful and there was no damage. And they cleaned up after themselves perfectly. I could tell the price was right when another company bid higher, then offered to come down to BuckToms rate only if I paid in cash. Ill definitely use them again when i have more tree work.

They came by my house the same day (within 15 minutes because I live close to them) to give me a quote on cutting down a few trees. Gave me an amazing price. We hired BuckTom to cut and reshape 7 very over grown shrubs. They showed up on time, were professional, honest & fair, did exceptional work, cleaned up after themselves, and even pruned our over grown lavender that they could see was taking over our garden. The man my husband spoke to was rude! My husband asked if he could mow one time to help catch up after both me and my daughter were in a horrific car crash on New Leicester Hwy and he rudely said thats not something he could accomadate or would be interested in doing.

This was our first time using BuckTom. I was a little skeptical. We have always used the same guy to remove trees from our property, but we decided to get quotes and BuckTom was a little cheaper, so we decided to give him a try. They took three trees down, one was huge and dead. All trees came down without a hitch and the cleanup was phenomenal! I would use them again and recommend them.

Ive used BuckTom twice now. The first time a tree fell behind my house, onto another tree, which prevented it from destroying my house. But the fallen tree was so heavy that it threatened to collapse the other tree and my house with it. I reached Steve at about 4:00 am on a Sunday morning. It was pouring rain. He was onsite at daylight. The crane arrived soon after and his crew worked all day, clearing the fallen tree just as the other other tree was beginning to crack under the weight. And I recently had BuckTom remove another tree which threatened my house and a neighbors, if it were to fall. It was a challenging location and again required a crane. I cant say enough about how professional Steve and his crew members are. They take charge and get the job done right. Their clean-up puts the site back in the same condition as before the tree removal. My husband and I recently hired this company to do a clean up job at our house. We purchased this foreclosure back in 2012 and have been unable to access all of our property due to years of undergrowth and neglect. We now have full access to ALL of our property thanks to this crew! They came in and immediately went to work cutting in roads, removing trees, clearing multiple brush piles and hauling off loads of metal/trash. A project that I expected to take at least a week to finish was complete in just 3 days. Every member of this group worked very hard from the time they arrived to the time they left. Very seldom did I see any of them taking a break and if they did , they were chugging water while still raking or spreading straw! They were consistently checking with us to make sure we were pleased with the progress to that point or if there was anything we would like changed or done differently! Before leaving the job site everyday they made sure they had cleaned up their mess for the day and didnt leave our place looking junky with their equipment. I called at 3:00 and had to leave a message. I called again at 4:00 only to be told that he wouldnt be able to make it because he had a party to go to at 6:00 and didnt realize how far away I was (about 20 minutes away).
