Used Jones Tree and Lawn for many years with great success, but unfortunately their service lately has been poor at best. They showed up to remove a tree while we were on vacation. No call in advance, nothing from them they just showed up one day. I was not happy to have someone on the property doing major tree removal when we weren t there! We came home to find the gate to our backyard was left open and debris was strewn across the yard from the tree removal. I would not recommend this company based on this recent experience!

The job they did on our storm damaged trees was great. A lot of debris from the pruning remains and needs to be picked up, likely by me.

Poor customer service and very rude estimators. When issues arise with their service there seems to be zero responsibility taken. I work in environmental science and this company could have cared less if my trees survived or died. If you don t have a bigger job then don t bother with this company as they put you on a wait list and never get to your tree trimming unless it s on a day or close to a day where it s going to be at a freezing temperature when other jobs don t want to risk having their trees cut in below freezing temperatures. The company is about the money first, customer second. I will be speaking to colleagues of mine and other homeowners to make sure they avoid this company like the plague.

We purchased our home 14 years ago. Our yard had numerous unusual trees some with problematic pruning and health issues. Weve talked to several arborists over the years. Jones is by far the most knowledgeable. We had a very unique cypress with an iron deficiency and prior treatments failed. Joness services saved the tree. We have since used them to plant new trees, trim and treat our Ash. There quoting, scheduling and payment is all electronic. Wished we would have found them when we first moved in.

Second time I have used Jones Tree Service and am extremely happy with the job that the crew did. Tree removal consisted of taking down a 50 plus year old silver maple that had root rot. There was very little space to work since it overhung both my house and my neighbors. They had to climb it and bring it down piece by piece!! I am still amazed by the skill, professionalism, and teamwork that the entire crew displayed to get this difficult job done and do not hesitate to recommend this company for any type of tree work. A shout out to Robert who serviced my lawn a couple of weeks ago. Amazing attention to detail. He cared about what he was doing. I wouldnt hesitate for a moment to recommend them.

Soaking trees with nutritional infusions. Positive is the trees they are treating get treated reliably so. Negative is not every person working for the company is knowledgeable. This becomes a problem when some people do not know what a dead tree looks like.....Continued to soak a dead tree and charged us for it over the year. At renewal time we requested they stop treating that tree and they did so that was a redeemable quality.

Jones Tree & Lawn is a GREAT tree service. They are so professional and we received the tree trimming shortly after the estimate. We did not have to wait for months. They know their business. A representative came out after the trimmer was done to take a second look from the ground (very wise) trimmer can not see the whole tree when theyre up there. The trimmer ended up back in the tree to fix what was required after the rep came out. They were so friendly and cleaned the yard up when finished. Theyre high on my list. :)

We had a great experience with Jones Tree & Lawn! We needed to remove part of a tree for a new sewer line, and that tree was up in the power lines. Jones Tree placed an order with Xcel and Xcels contractors didnt come for 3 months. Jones Tree called repeatedly during those months and worked with us on rescheduling our work multiple times. The estimate and work were great as were the people. I would recommend them for any tree work you need done.

The crew showed up on time, were friendly and professional. They did a great job. They come here to trim my tree almost every winter and I ve always been happy with their work.

The crew at Jones Tree & Lawn answered all of my questions promptly, quoted us a fair and competitive bid for the work and executed the job wonderfully. We have 12 very tall sumac trees which were leaning and had limbs overhanging in a non-safe way. The guys showed up on time, were super friendly and listened to our directions on what we wanted. Very unproffessional, they send crews out to do work without permission and have to be told 6-7 maybe 8 times of phone numbers .My Mom passed away in April and after telling them 4 times what the new phone number was, they still got it wrong.Horrible office staff

We experienced terrible customer service and poor communication throughout the process of having them trim our trees. Their representative was arrogant and wouldnt listen to us and so the crew did not trim what we needed them to and had to come back. My husband had to be on site to direct their crew what to trim because they didnt have proper instructions. When we expressed our concerns, Jones did nothing to make up for the situation. Well be telling our friends that are buying houses at the moment to avoid this company.

Bid was in line with the two others I received and they were very prompt and professional. Very fast and efficient process with a bucket truck and chipper. I noticed a branch that was missed, and they were back the very next day to take care of it. Highly recommend.

Request was easy to submit online, met with Kevin Smith at Jones about a week later. He was awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, very easy to relate to, helpful. It was 100% a positive first experience, he offered good advice, and promptly submitted cost estimates. This 5 star rating is based on that process. We have not started services yet, the cost was a little steep for a small tree trim and other stuff, but that may be the norm, or more involved than I know. If we have them do the work I will update the view. But the initial process is 5 star.

Tony came out and looked at our tree before I could get any other company to return my call. Hopefully our plan will save our maple!

Exponent of 10 (to those 5 stars). Jones was introduced to me years ago as I had large red oak trees that had a disease. They come out to spray a few times a year. My neighbors asked me if I could alert them when they spray so they could plan ahead (close windows) and/or put animals indoors. Not only does Jones call them, but they also knock on their door the day of to ensure everyone is happy. They are as many stars out of how ever many stars there are to give. I havent used their other services but know that when I need services they provide that I have a partner for life.

I was optimistic about lawn and tree care results when signing up with the Jones company about two years ago, and took their expertise-offered advice. They have fertilized the grass and injected the trees with products that were intended to maintain a disease-free landscape on my property. However, the fertilization process left both yellowed spots, and bare spots in various areas (in spite of a regulated watering system) and even occasional weeds. The elms got infested with Japanese beetles, causing the leaves to disintegrate and fall off their branches. I had been told that beetle-prevention treatment was not necessary (although my previous tree care company had insisted on it), and thus dropped it from the treatment plan with Jones. Obviously, this was a mistake. It is hard to isolate the source of the problems that have occurred: the sales pitch, the content of chemical products applied, the level and frequency of their application, or the technician delivering the application. In any case, I cancelled the service a few weeks back, citing these issues. To date, have not received a response, although when reporting the problem, I was informed the it was quite likely I would get a reply.

We have used this company 4 times, from tree trimming to trees going away. Have had excellent experiences every time. They are quick efficient and friendly.

We had not had our trees trimmed in 20+ years. We had Jones come out and give us a bid as your reviews were very positive and went ahead with the work. About 3 weeks later the job was mostly complete. We had decided to have a large tree removed that was close to the power line. Xcel came out once and trimmed the tree away from the line but the guys from Jones said that Xcel needed to come back out and trim more off before they could remove the tree. It became a pi**ing contest between Xcel and Jones as to who did something wrong. 6 weeks went by and we didnt hear from Jones. We called your office and there seemed to be a mass lack of communication. When the guys from Jones showed up to remove the tree, we had already decided to keep the dang tree. It must be meant to be if it is so hard to take out. We expected our bill to be lowered because we didnt have the tree removed---but were billed the same initial amount. About 3 weeks ago we lost 3 limbs from our largest tree. We called Jones and questioned whether the initial trim was done correctly as it seemed like since we just had the trees trimmed, we didnt feel we should have these issues.Jones guys came out again and took care of the limbs but now have billed us $330. Last evening an even bigger dead limb fell on our neighbors fence. We are not calling Jones Tree this time. Its too bad because their ratings were so good.

Reasonable price, great work. Mulched all the limbs and branches. My trees needed to be thinned so wind can pass threw to prevent damage. They have a beautiful shape now.

Very bad experience with there leading guy Tom, just putting in services for our trees other than what ww discussed. 13 years of service , they did a good job but all of a sudden he sent us a bill for over 500.00 dollars for some tree treatment we never ever heard of or verbally approved. Wow Im so disheartened to think people you trust and value there services would just take advantage of our kindness and trust. We will never use them ever again.

Ive used Jones for about 13-14 years for an old (about 120-130 years) American Elm on the city right of way that had scale and an elm beetle infestation. It was losing large branches and the tree scared me after it totaled a parked compact car. The city of Denver said the tree was fine and would not allow me to cut it down in spite of the issues I was having. Jones worked with me to get the tree healthy and keep it healthy ever since. Ive, also, used them for weed spray and maintaining an 65-75 year old silver maple on my property. All healthy thanks to Jones. Ive experienced great service from Jones even when Ive forgot to pay. They call or email a gentle reminder (thanks Megan and Deanna). The clean-up is usually very good and the people Ive interacted with are extremely helpful, i.e. Tony. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had great experiences with Jones Tree and Lawn. We have had three huge trees removed at different times and each time they were removed with much professionalism. I have also had the lawn sprayed for Canadian Thistle and the spray tech. was right on time and explained how the spray would work and how it may take a few applications to kill all of the thistle which was nice to know about. I would highly recommend using Jones Tree and Lawn for tree removal and lawns.

The most punctual, no nonsense small business I have ever worked with. We got pounded by 60 mph winds and our tree was in danger of falling on the neighbors house. An hour after calling them we got an estimate to remove it. This morning is was gone. The price was right and the service is top-notch and we are safe from this unstable, 50-foot tree. Reliable and honest, what more can you expect?
