Brutally bad experience. Paid HL an absurd amount of money two years ago to install a new DG path. The design person did a really slipshod job of tracing the path, literally jotted it on a yellow legal pad and that was what was used as a blue-print. We overpaid in materials, for a path that is already overgrowing with weeds (the installation team never bothered to impact the DG path, so its essentially just a bunch of dirt and gravel). It looks terrible. Other issues - our neighbor let us know that she could smell someone on the installation team was smoking or vaping weed while on a break at our house; not a very professional look. They left our side gate open, which meant our dog got out. As I said, brutally disappointing performance by HL. Highly regret choosing them. I almost never write negative reviews, because I hate to take away or negatively impact someones income, but I let HL know about the issues described above (the weeds overgrowing the path they just put in), and the person I spoke to basically blew me off and said they dont keep any kind of warranty. So now Im going to have to hire a different crew to correct their (very expensive) mistakes.

I recently completed a project with Highlands Landscaping and am thrilled with the final product. I worked closely with Brandon and Salvador who managed my project. The team was very easy to work with, responsive and willing to go the extra mile to make our project exactly how we wanted it. On top of that they were very friendly and had a great attitude the whole time. They were able to complete my project in four days and now my yard and house are looking awesome for the summer time. We are still waiting on having the yard completely finished (sod and planting to be done in the Spring) but so far we have been very happy with Highlands Landscaping. They are very professional and do an excellent job. It took less time to finish everything than they had originally quoted us. They are an investment, but the cost is absolutely worth it, knowing everything was done to a high standard. We are looking forward to seeing how everything looks when its complete in the Spring!

Highlands was prompt with its initial visit, its walk-through, and its work. When an actual laborer with the consultant on a second visit, he pointed out issues the consultant had not spotted, thus avoiding many potential problems. Throughout the job (building a retaining wall, clearing soil of gravel, and regrading the surface), this person consulted and checked with the property owner to ensure understanding about inevitable snarls and about price changes. Furthermore, when something did not suit me, the company made a specific extra visit to the site to set it right. Excellent customer service.

We hired them to remove our previous patio, design & install a new paver patio, re-do the rest of our backyard with a combination of turf, rocks & mulch and install a new portion of our fence. From start to finish John, Nikola, Pantic (and crew) were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were thoughtful, communicative & paid attention to every detail. We could not be happier with the final result! We look forward to continuing to use them for future projects down the road.

Im so happy with the work Highlands Landscaping & Fencing did! I replaced a fence and did significant landscaping (xeriscaping the front and putting artificial turf in the back). Im a new(ish) homeowner, and this was my first big project. I reached out to 3 companies and HL&F was very prompt in scheduling a walkthrough and their estimates were consistent with other bids I received. Brandon, who did the initial walkthrough, was so knowledgeable and helpful in determining what was feasible, what made sense, what was most economical, etc. His knowledge of plants and design absolutely ensured our final result was amazing. Nikola also was very helpful with coming up the best way to make our plans happen, especially as it related to removing and replacing the fence. Their crew members were also extremely polite and hardworking. I really felt HL&F acted with transparency and integrity throughout the entire process. There was a small miscommunication re: what I had asked for and what got conveyed to the crew via an estimate I had approved (but I wasn t knowledgeable enough to spot the inconsistency) and, and a result, the crew members started building a fence type I did not like. I was worried the response would be too bad, so sad, a written contract trumps an oral one. Instead, Brandon immediately said, yes, I remember you saying that, no problem, we ll make that happen even though it meant more work for his crew. I really, really appreciated that, as not all companies would do that. The final result looks absolutely incredible; I am now so happy spending time in my yard. If I have landscaping or fencing needs in the future, I would use HL&F again in a heartbeat.

We had Highlands do some landscaping at our home this fall to help mitigate future water draining toward our house. Their team regraded around our house, installed a french drain, and buried gutter downspouts. They did a great job! Every step of the process from initial walkthrough, design, final selection of rocks and mulch, and the actual work getting completed was smooth. Well call again when we have further needs!

We contacted Highlands Landscaping for some work in our back yard to deal with water management as our yard was graded poorly with low points that always flooded when it rained. John Aguilar was great with designing a solution utilizing a French drain, downspouts to mushroom drains, and raising the low points to redirect water via French drain to the front of the house. Once work began, the project manager Salvador Fernandez was great about communicating what was being done each day, and consulting with us when decisions needed to be made on the fly when work was in progress. Will definitely contact them in the future when we are ready for xeriscaping, terracing, and new sprinklers.

Everything about working with Highlands Landscaping was fantastic. They were professional, on time, conscious of our budget, and delivered great quality. I hired Highlands Landscaping to help solve a variety of drainage issues around my house, install a small retaining wall with integrated lighting, and to install a paver stone walkway/patio. The quality of their work and attention to detail is outstanding. But beyond this, their style of communication and sense of professionalism make the company truly exceptional to work with. I wont hesitate to hire this company again for all of my future landscaping needs.

I had a great experience working with Highlands Landscaping from start to finish. They installed 5 trees, a number of perennial plants and associated irrigation, A LOT of dirt and rock, and an informal patio. I am a customer that is a bit particular and I ask a lot of questions. They were very responsive at every step of the process and happy to answer all of my questions, from scheduling a walkthrough and quote, to reiterating on the design, to the installation. The landscape estimator provided advice and guidance on the design, and brought up issues that I would not have known about. Their experienced insights were very helpful. The end result was beyond perfect and exactly what we had discussed. Given the current supply issues there were a few changes in the original materials (because we booked in the fall, with installation in the spring) and they were very communicative and found (in my opinion) better alternatives. They set aside more than enough time to finish the project. Everyone I interacted with - from the landscape estimator, to the office staff, to the crew and project manager - was so nice and respectful, clearly a well-organized team, and a pleasure to work with. Highlands Landscaping was recommended to us by two of our neighbors. We did get three quotes and theirs was not the cheapest, but it was the most detailed and I felt like there would be no surprises and that they would be very good communicators with the customer. That was most important to me, and the detailed quote helped us iterate with them on a plan for our budget. Excellent team. Excellent job.

I had an appointment to get an estimate. A few hours before the appointment they asked to cancel and reschedule. I rescheduled for the next day and they did not show up at all. I reached out to the business and told them not to bother rescheduling, I will find someone more reliable.

I recently had my landscaping done with Highlands and was very pleased with the results. I worked with John on the design and he was great and listened to all my input as well followed up through the project. The crew was fabulous. They were on time, worked very hard, and accommodated my many requests. They were able to take care of unforeseen issues quickly and came out on budget. I would recommend.

I received 5 estimates and I picked Highland Landscapers because I felt confident that Brandon would do a great job. All the workers were reliable and hard workers and responsive. ORIGINAL POSTING: Erica, Ivan and his crew did an excellent job at creating the design Erica and I agreed upon based on her recommendations. Erica was patient and professional during this project for the last 3 months. She made suggestions that were very helpful and responded to every concern I had in a timely manner. She said to trust her and I would love the end result which I do! The crew that did the physical labor were great. They completed the work in one day and at the conclusion of the project cleaned up. It was as though they were never there. All they left was a beautifully renovated yard. Ivan was very patient with me as well. I had questions regarding the final bill. The only concern I have is the tonnage of shrub/bush and rock removal in addition to the tonnage of river rock installed. Ivan did make a slight adjustment to the bill. In retrospect it would have been preferable if there was more discussion regarding the total tons we were looking at as the size of the project increased while it was being installed. ADDITION TO ORIGINAL COMMENT: Upon my request the General Manager, Aleksandar Pantic came to my property and had Ivan measure the actual areas involved in the completed project. Aleksandar explained the parts of the bill in question and it was determined that Highlands had underbilled me. I had already paid the bill and asked to be billed for the additional amount. Aleksandar did not bill me for the amount that was determined to be underbilled. I had some concerns with the boulders in the landscaping after the final walkthrough in Sept 2021. I contact Highlands Landscaping in 2022 and they stood by their contract and resolved the issue. I highly recommend Highlands Landscaping & Fencing! Thanks to all the staff involved in this project. We are very happy with the results of the landscaping. Special thanks to Aleksandar Pantic, General Manager for his patiences and resolve in settling these matters.

I had worked with Highlands Landscaping years ago when they did sprinkler installation and had such a great experience, there was no looking anywhere else for an estimate for building a fence for our front yard and some grading work along our house. I loved working with them from start to finish! Everyone is so kind and professional and very attentive to the small details in their projects. I love how our front yard turned out and will definitely be using them for more work in the future.

We are so glad that we found Highlands Landscaping on YELP. From the initial walkthrough all the way to the completion of the project, HL was nothing short of completely professional and friendly. We had a very unusual layout with our yard where the entire side of the house was not only overgrown and unusable, but it wasnt even accessible from the backyard. This unusable space was one of the main inspirations for the renovation. HL was able to knock out the old chainlink fence and expand the backyard onto the side of the house, they cleared out all of the overgrown brush and even removed a small tree. We feel like our yard grew by a huge percentage and we look forward to doing more with that space (and with HL) in the future! Another odd thing was the flippers who sold us our house planted grass all in the backyard, but with no sprinkler system or hose hookup, that grass all died. HL replaced the dead grass and dirt with gorilla hair cedar mulch, lovely red flag stone steppers, and built a paver patio for our hangout space. The fire pit was also a big problem area, the sectioned off area was falling apart and wasnt holding its shape. HL completely rebuild the area by reusing as many of the large rocks as possible, and supplementing with their own where needed. They laid down a weed barrier and then filled the new pit with gorgeous river rock. HL had provided us with a quote to do all sorts of plantings with irrigation, but we wanted to keep some of the fun stuff for ourselves, so we opted out. We will however, have HL back later in the spring to do a small amount of plantings for us because we loved their suggestion of planting karl foerster grass alongside the garage wall and felt it fair to allow them to do that work for us! The landscaping work is exactly what we wanted, we are going to be building upon what they did here with a xeriscape, drought tolerant desert vibe. The fence work is in my opinion, the highlight of the project. The smell of the fresh red cedar permeates the air, and the build quality of the fence and the gates is just flawless! We have a curved foundational wall in the front of the house along our driveway, and initially I was concerned about how this would play with the fence. What I thought was going to be a compromise turned out to be a feature! The way the wall and the fence join together, and the way they curved the wood alongside it is my favorite part of the whole fence. I had so much anxiety about how this area was going to look and it became my favorite element. The gates are STURDY!! I love walking through them and will use any opportunity I have to do so! The walk to the garbage can is closer from my backyard, but youll often find me walking my trash out through the front just so I can take another look at the project and feel the heft of that front gate. Highlands Landscaping did as PRAISEWORTHY job, and at what I felt was a reasonable price. We had a lot of weather delays that was no fault of the company, but I would say that when they were able to work, they worked quickly and efficiently. The speed at which the fence went up absolutely blew my mind. I look forward to working with HL again in the future. Thank you team!

Highlands Landscaping took care of an important drainage project on our property. They did it quickly and under-budget. Their crew was hard working and friendly. Id recommend this firm to everyone.

Highlands did a great job on our backyard. We had an area of compacted breeze installed for a firepit area, as well as an elevated pad of compacted recycled concrete for a shed, a compacted breeze path to the shed pad, a garden bed, and two 8x8s to string lights over our patio. The team did a great job and we are so pleased with how the backyard turned out! Although spring weather prolonged the install several days, the team did a good job of squeezing in work when they could and were very thoughtful and responsive to our questions and requests.

Our backyard needed a lot of work, including a installing a new fence, patio, and fully re-grading. The team at Highland s Landscaping completely transformed it! The Project Manager was so thorough, considerate of our budget, and extremely communicative. They did such a quality job and everyone has taken notice who has seen our new backyard. We used this company to install artificial turf for pets back in 2017. Kb Home damaged the turf by replacing our concrete steps in your yard and we called Highlands to come replace it at Kb Home s expense. This was in Summer of 2018. The yard smells so bad of dog urine we cannot sit in it. We ask the company if there is any kind of warranty for this and they said no that we should have to spray it and treat it regularly. We know at least five other people who have artificial turf for pets one person had it for 10 years and has no smell of urine and has never watered it the others have had it for at least five years with pets without watering it and have no odor problems. Why would you get artificial turf when you have to water it daily it is expensive do you have to pay the water and it is expensive to buy and use the treatment stuff they tell you to use. We might as well put sod and save money by just having to water it without having to buy the treatment. We will not use this company artificial turf again.

We hired this company for a fence replacement (and extension), sod, and paver patio for a hot tub. These guys are great! Their work is amazing and the crew is top notch. Extremely professional and 100% willing to walk you through things they are doing and address any issues you find without any fuss. The final bill was a little over the original estimate, but still worth it. I can t thank the crew and the staff @Highlands for such great work. Alisa at the front office is also amazing. We ran into a snag with the loan (approved but closing date kept changing) and she worked with us every step of the way to make sure everything was good on both ends. To Nikola and Ivan s crew, you guys did such an amazing job. We love what you guys did and cannot thank you enough for the work and helping us with any thing that popped up. Both quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this company.

Before and after photos... This company is good. I would use them again. John was easy to work with right off the bat. Panta was a little difficult, but we got things done with out him. Just FYI...Make sure to print out the first estimate because it will change on their system and you wont be able to find the original. They will make things right.

They are the snow plowing company for apartment complex and I wish I had the power to switch companies for them. A few weeks ago, the plowed my car into its assigned parking spot and then never came to fix it even after multiple calls. They use ice melt that constantly hurts our dog s paws whenever we have to take them outside. The complex has also asked multiple times for them to either not use it or switch, yet they continue to harm our animals. For this most recent snow storm, they didn t show up until the next morning when there was basically no snow and decided to scrape asphalt at 8 am. When I called to complain, they didn t answer even though their hours were stated over the answering machine and they should have been open. This company should be ashamed of itself and I will never recommend them for any job I come across.

Contacted Highlands Landscaping with a general vision of how I wanted my backyard to look and from this they went above and beyond. I really appreciate the hard work and high level of communication specifically from the project manager Panta and his foreman Rodney, both took the time to keep me in the loop every step of the way and ensure every detail was communicated. Very respectful and professional working crew.

We hired Highlands Landscaping & Fencing to build a new patio and install a gazebo for us. We worked with Brandon Barch as our designer and I would highly recommend him. He helped us parse out all of our plans for our yard, break them in to manageable projects for cost, and make smart decisions about our materials. His project manager Sasa was also awesome. In searching for a good landscape company we ran across Highlands and since they had so many good reviews we did ask them to be one of our bidders on a significant project. We needed the entire side yard to be reterraced, the retaining walls removed and relocated, using heavy blocks, install underground gutter downspout piping and french drains, and a LOT of excess dirt removed manually as the area did not allow access for power equipment. First of all, the estimator was on time, knew his stuff, and had some good ideas. When their bid came in it was not the lowest, but then lowest is often a trap. We decided to go with Highlands anyway and WOW were we impressed! This outfit is GREAT! They showed up every time early, worked very hard, were extremely accommodating when we had questions or wanted to make changes, and left every day only after the site was cleaned up completely. Their end result was impressive, we were very happy with their work and design, and we had no complaints at all. And, believe it or not, when the final invoice came in it was actually lower than their estimate! We would not hesitate to use Highlands again and felt their slightly higher price was well worth it to have a company do such a good job with no issues at all.

Highlands has turned our backyard into the oasis we dreamed of when we purchased our house. They built us a gorgeous board on board fence in the summer of 2019, and this summer (2020) have helped to design and get us started on our dream backyard while we are safe at home. Jamie walked through different iterations of the backyard design until we were happy, helping us source plants and materials when we decided that was how we were going to be able to make it come true financially. Ponte helped bring it to life with one of the better work crews we ve had, checking in and making sure every part was right. They were professional, hardworking, and even amused our toddler (and us) as we checked in on the progress. We loved working with them and know who we ll call when we re ready to makeover the front.

Highlands Landscaping did a fantastic job on our backyard. It was a big project where we had the whole backyard scraped and redone. The workers there were fantastic and on time every day. Often working late to keep on schedule. Pascha, the lead, was very communicative and gave us frequent updates. The biggest part is when they called to ask for feedback I made a joke about our 2 year old son wanting more of the Bobcat moving things around. A few days later they dropped off a thank you note with a little construction vehicle toy. Amazing stuff, they have a client for life!

When looking to redo our entire yard (new sod, 400SF of pavers, flagston patio expansion with wall, rock mulch, irrigation adjustments), I contacted several companies for bids and Highlands was the most responsive and very helpful with working within our budget. Their prices where competitive with the other companies. When it came to doing the project, the project manager and the crew communicated so well throughout the process. The crew worked hard throughout the project and any issues were resolved quickly and professionally. Im so glad that I selected Highlands to do our project. We love our new yard thanks to Highlands!

This has been my best experience ever involving a landscape contractor. From the initial estimate to the actual work to the final walkthrough, it has been an exemplary experience and what I had hoped for when I chose this landscape company. There were three other estimators that just did not have the professionalism, sincerity and integrity that I felt with Highlands. Explanations, discussions, communications were always clear. The first time I ever experienced a company that showed up when they said they would and kept me informed by phone or texting if anything was different from what was expected. The crew were great, hard working, polite, professional, and enjoyable to be around. The actual costs came in under the estimated costs. The project was built as if I had done the work myself, so it included attention to detail, quality of materials, and with a mindset that engineered everything so it would last for years. The main items were a 112 foot retaining wall, a 72 foot planter, and a patio. They are all beautiful, but for me, the impressive and now hidden, underlying preparation, is just as important as the finished product. Well Done Highlands! I would not hesitate to use Highlands Landscaping & Fencing in the future!

Highlands landscaping did some landscaping to solve some water drainage problems and installed about 300 feet of cedar fence. Both projects look fantastic and are clearly high quality work. They listened carefully to what I wanted and we discussed what other options might cost less or look better, ect. The thing that I actually appreciated the most was their communication throughout the project; at the end of every day (about an 8 day project), they asked me if I was happy with the work so far. If I made it home before they finished for the day, they would walk through the project and make an effort to point out any detail that might not be exactly like I wanted, so there were absolutely no surprises. I would highly recommend them for wood fence installation.

I have known Marko for years. He has built his company by being honest and dependable. Our back yard after 20 years needed to be regraded and upgraded. Marko gave a fair estimate of the work needed and explained the how and when it would be done. Then proceeded to do exactly what he said. We had an issue a year later where the flagstone was lifting at a corner. Marko and his team came back figured out that the problem and fixed it! Its been 4 years and it still looks great and drains perfectly. I have and will continue to recommend Highland Landscaping to all my friends.

We live directly on Sloan s lake which provides an incredible view and outlet *but* also adds to security, parking, traffic, crime concerns. So in 2014 we set out to address our home s entire outdoor area and especially the front setback with these things in mind. Marko and his comprehensive team of licenced and insured professionals handled everything: design, drainage, irrigation, retaining wall, decorative metal fence, lighting, gardens, cedar fence, gates, stairs, stones and stone work, welding, sod, plant choices, patio pavers, firepit, hottub, permits, etc, etc.. They have pride, honor, and integrity in their work. They owned the project from design to completion with accurate quotes and timelines through all steps of the process. They worked with us through multiple changes and most importantly they continued to keep in touch and work with me afterwards for various adjustments. In fact with the completion of our front space, we asked them to continue and complete all sides of home. The zen inspired spaces integrates gardens, trees, water, fire, lighting. Highlands Landscaping has done several projects for me over the years. Several years ago they did a full landscape reinstall following an interior remodel project that wasnt kind to the exterior. That project included a flagstone patio installation that meticulously followed the pattern designed by a non-Highlands Landscaping designer and the construction of a curved, brick retaining wall, both of which have aged beautifully. Theyve also installed wood and metal fencing, sod (after kids arrived), irrigation system. For each job, the crews have been meticulous in their work, on time, on budget, and an all around pleasure.

Everyone was very professional and the work was done very quickly. I had a small concern about my patio and it was fixed immediately! I have had a fence and a patio installed and I am very happy.

These guys are great, I had a rather large landscaping job that was really several jobs completed over about a one month period. Marko and the team at highlands landscaping removed 80 tons of dirt from my backyard to level it. Next, I had quite a bit of paver work done in both the back and front yard.I had a 200 foot paver wall put on two sides of my backyard. Next, I had a paver driveway put in. I had an idea to get rid of my old concrete stairway leading to my front door, and put in a ramp of pavers. Marko and the Highlands landscaping crew came up with the design of the ramp and completed it beautifully. On the south side of my house I always had a drainage problem which always bothered me, but Highlands Ranch landscaping had a great idea and used a thick pond liner and River rock to get the grade correct and properly drain a very large area that would always be a headache when snow melted or we had a heavy rain. Lastly, I had the backyard rolled out with new sod. When it was all completed it looked like a professional golf course. Marko and the crew at Highlands landscaping were always on time, and if Marko was not available I could always pass on any concerns I had to one of his crew, and they were always passed on reliably. If you have any landscaping projects, large or small, go with these guys, you can t go wrong.

We are so happy with our experience with the Highlands team! Megan was very detailed and helpful when we did the initial walkthrough and throughout the process. She was quick to respond any time we had questions. Panta and his team did an amazing job and they completed the work very quickly. They found ways to save us money while not compromising on the quality of service or design of the landscaping. We will be using them for all of our landscaping need in the future!

Over the past few years, weve renovated our house in Cheesman Park. Front retaining wall, new fence around the back, new paint, entirely new landscaping, etc. (These guys did the wooden fence and the landscaping.) During the 3+ year project, we contacted all kinds of people with experience in all the areas above, and were pretty surprised at the number that simply dont show up at the scheduled time or dont call you back. So, when you find a company that DOES call you back and DOES show up, thats a great start. On top of that, we had very specific requests in terms of the kinds of plants we were looking for, and these guys were able to look at our requirements and provide us with a few dozen options to choose from. Fast forward a couple of years and the fence in the back is looking GREAT -- all the privacy we needed. The sprinkler system is working perfectly. The plants have matured and are in bloom. Ive caught people taking photos of the house twice recently. I highly recommend this business. Couldnt have had a better experience.

Marko and crew completed our entire yard in Uptown Denver. When they started it was literally dirt. Well, to be accurate, it was dirt and weeds. They created all our beds for plants and raised planter bed for vegetable garden, then landscaped with trees, bushes and perennials. The entire in-ground sprinkler system for the entire yard was installed by Highlands Landscapin. Beyond plantings, they hardscaped a front retaining wall, built a metal fence in front yard and a wood fence in the back yard and installed low voltage lighting. Also, they built patio from pavers for our back yard. While it was a big project for us, Marko and crew were efficient, thorough and always kept us in the loop with timely communication. The final product was outstanding. We have asked them to come back over the last few years to update some things and have always been completely satisfied with the work. Highlands Landscaping recently completed redesigning my front and back yard for better drainage and irrigation systems, replacing sod, and constructing brick retaining walls for plants. Business must be booming. I called about replacing the fence around my property but would have to wait over a month just to get an estimator out here (5 minutes from their shop). We hired Highlands Fencing and Landscaping to re-landscape our backyard, including fencing, gates and irrigation. Theyve got impeccable reviews, a great portfolio of past work on their website, and are booked weeks-to-months in advance. All of which is why we were so excited to meet with their designer that we didnt even reach out to any other companies in the meantime while we waited for our appointment to arrive. Fast-forward to appointment day and...crickets. When I called to see what was going on, I was told that they tried to confirm with me by phone and email. (I left you TWO messages and you NEVER responded.) To be clear, I verified that I have no missed calls, voicemails, or emails (including spam) from this company. After I left a bad review on Yelp, I suddenly received the confirmation email with no visible To line. And since I received that email, that makes it unlikely that a technical issue would have been to blame the first time around. (I check my email, like, a lot. Too much. Ask my wife.) Mistakes and miscommunications happen. At that point, the only harm was a lunch hour lost. And hey, I got to see my dogs, so not such a huge deal. But heres why Im taking the time to write a one-star review. Their approach was to make me feel as though the missed appointment was my fault. A little humility goes a long way, and it would have been easy enough to make this right by just acknowledging that something got mixed up and moving forward from there. I wish we had a chance to see what these guys do to earn their litany of five-star reviews, but I dont appreciate being treated the way this company treated me, so well find someone else. Given their full schedule, they clearly didnt need our business, and it showed.

We were thrilled with the experience, design and quality work from Highlands Landscaping. They came recommended to us through our relator and were the first (and only) company I called. I had such a pleasant experience with Jen who went out of her way to fit me into the schedule. We recently purchased a second home and were managing the entire process remotely. She was so accommodating and friendly which gave us piece of mind throughout the entire process. Rich was equally a pleasure to work with and made experienced based recommendations which gave us confidence. He was the expert, knew exactly what our patio needed, made several recommendations and helped keep us within budget. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. Marko, our Project Manager, was on site every day and provided daily updates including pictures of the progress. We cant be happier with our completed patio. I called early November and spoke with Richard Matthews who promptly came to my house to give me an estimate on front yard xeriscaping and a back yard fence. I was presented with a very reasonable quote and time frame for starting each project. Barring any inclement weather, I was told Aleksandar and crew would promptly start on our fence, and Nikola and crew would start on our landscape. Luckily the weather worked in everyone s favor and both jobs were completed within a couple of days! I am beyond satisfied with these gentleman s work! My fence looks fantastic and my front yard is exactly how Richard proposed it would be. They were very courteous with clean up and efficiently completing their projects! I was advised by Richard that they would continue with planting in the Spring when the weather was warmer so my plants would not die off. Highlands Landscaping is clearly the best in the business. I could not be happier with my patio and yard work. It was like adding a new room to my house. This is now the second time I have used Highlands landscaping and I will never use any other company. The best thing I can say about highlands landscaping is the extremely high level of professionalism from the owner (Marko) and extending to all the workers on the job. Every job has unexpected issues but there is never an issue or problem because Marko handles it immediately. There is constant contact between Marko or the manager on the job. When they are done with the work whether it was fencing or patio, the workers always tidy up and clean up everything. The pricing is extremely reasonable as well. I will keep coming back.

Highlands Landscaping (Marko is the owner) built an exceptional fence that matched (in color and quality) to my home. They also built my patio and installed my hot tub. Fast forward 2 and a half years, and I had a small problem in the patio. I called Marko to see what to do. He said hed send a couple of guys out to fix it. They made the patio look like new---they did more than I expected. But, he didnt charge me a penny. This company restores my faith in companies that do work for you. Having been burned recently by 2 different companies that I found on Home Advisor, I am still in shock to find people who do high quality work, follow through, and are very reasonably priced. I used highlands for about 70 feet of new fencing. They did a fantastic job with the fence, everyone was very professional and punctual. Even though the estimate was for close to 90 feet of fencing, they only charged me for what they installed and revised the invoice to reflect the actual amount of work done (about $700 cheaper than the estimate). I would highly recommend Highlands, and will only be using them for my landscaping needs in the future!

I cant say enough to praise Marko, Joshua and Ray. I had called several fence/landscape companies for quotes and felt that no one was really listening to what I wanted. Ill start by saying that Highlands Landscaping isnt just the best landscaper Ive ever worked with, theyre hands down the best company Ive ever used for anything, period. We received 3 bids from different companies for a complete overhaul of our front and back yard, and Highlands stood out for their design help, expertise, and suggestions we wouldnt have thought of on our own. Theyre so popular you may have to wait, but its more than worth it. Marko, Ray, and the rest of the team treated us like we were family, and these guys did the entire project (including tearing out 1,000 sq ft of concrete and taking everything down to dirt!) in less than half the time it would have taken other companies. They talked me through every step so I knew for a fact things were done with an incredibly high level of quality. Highlands Landscaping installed 32 Lilac bushes for me. The service and communication was great. I also needed repair work done on my fence, which was custom made and originally installed by another company. Highlands Landscaping was full qualified to do the fence, and Marko was very upfront that this particular fence the company that originally installed this fence may have a lower price, since they do that particular fence all the time. Wow, I was blown away, that Marko truly had my best interest in mind, and actually encouraged me to contact a competitor to see if they could be his price. That really says a lot about a person and a company. Using Highlands Landscaping you can be confident that they will do quality work and stand behind it.
