Shelton has done an absolutely incredible job with our new backyard. We worked with the team on a large project of all new landscaping, a water feature update, and significant cleanup of overgrown landscaping. The whole team was very professional, kept the work area tidy, and worked super hard to get our project done in a timely fashion. Even neighbors commented on how great it was. Highly recommend!

I have used Shelton Landscaping & Maintenance twice now. Owner Clay has personally come out to look over the work, make suggestions, and given me the estimates. His men do great work and are efficient. They clean up and leave your yard looking great. I will certainly use them again the next time I need landscaping of any kind done.

Shelton put in a paver patio for us around 10 years ago. They did a tremendous job from start to finish. There were minor issues two times in the last ten years that I reached out to Clay about. I was looking for a bid for the minor repairs since they were related more to the freeze /thaw cycle, yet Clay sent his crew out to repair the sinking pavers and steps and did not charge me. That s a company who stands behind their work, and I recommend them highly.

This company is the worst!! They break your things, then deny it so they dont have to refund you.

They were fantastic! They were able to work us in earlier than expected and got the job done quick. The workers are very respectful and really hard working. The price is very reasonable and the finished product is well worth it. We had them put in a paver patio, retaining wall and landscape 2 different areas of our yard and they got it all done in 4 days. They cleaned up after everyday and didnt leave debris in the the yard or street. I would highly recommend for any landscaping projects.

A driver hit my car and left. Very minor damage and no injuries, but the company yelled at me that his driver did nothing wrong because the driver didnt realize that he hit me. Rude people that cant take responsibility for their mistakes.

My backyard had a 18 x 35 oval above ground pool that was removed 2 years ago and my yard was a disaster. I hired Shelton Landscaping in May 2021 to redo my backyard, including regrading my sloped yard, installation of a new patio, installation of edging, burying my drainage, and a fully sodded lawn. It was a huge project and it was difficult to find a contractor who could handle everything. Although they were booked solid until August, it was well worth the wait. Amanda and her crew worked hard in 100 degree weather during the install. She was responsive and helped me stay within my budget so that I could get everything done that I needed. The crew was professional. They always cleaned up after each work day and left the job site on the final day in great condition. I am extremely pleased and very happy with the final results. After looking at a disaster for 2 years, I love my new backyard. So do my dogs. I still have future landscaping that is needed and I will only call Shelton Landscaping. My experience was positive from the initial meeting with Amanda to the final day of the project. Thank you so much Shelton Landscaping for turning my disaster into a beautiful backyard.

Used them spring of 2020. I wanted all my beds fully mulched. Also, I had them put in a raised bed by my pool with arborvitae shrubs. They added purple coneflowers (my favorites). The raised bed was crescent shaped and inside the crescent I had them put in a flagstone patio with a fire ring. They did an incredible job, everything I asked for and more. Im already hitting them up for my next spring project.

Called for estimate on grading/landscape. Stating scheduling for a July and would not take on additional business. Their choice, I understand. Also my choice not to use them ever again.

Called to set up an estimate and was told we were too small for them to even bother with. I guess 10K worth of work is small fry, oh well.

Shelton Landscape, over the last several years, has improved drainage, built boulder walls, landscaped (beautifully), mulched and installed landscape lighting. Their crew is always professional and quick! I ve used other landscaping companies in the past - none have been as consistently reliable. They just do good work, when they say they will and at a good price.

Signed up to have yard leveled and seeded last Oct. 2018. Dirt, not good soil, was spread in Nov. but not seeded until April. By then dirt was rutted and eroded. Would not come out and fill and correct as promised but wanted to sell us a maintenance package even before the original seeding. I reseeded myself and my grass grew better than theirs. Would not recommend them to anyone else. Good workers, poor management.

Filled out the request for an estimate form online. Got a call stating he would come by to have a look at my yard. No one ever showed up and never heard from anyone again.Terrible service.

Scott and his crew did a very large retaining wall in a tough location at my moms house and it turned out great. I have been in the construction business for 20 years and his work was perfect. Solid construction, straight lines, no cutting corners. He also left the job site in great shape, to include erosion control and reseeding! This company takes pride in their work! This was the second time we hired Shelton to do some landscaping for us and the whole experience was amazing again! We invited Scott out to our new home to create a plan to update the landscaping and grade the yard - and he graciously agreed and genuinely appreciated the opportunity. We, again like the last time, immediately felt comfortable with his bid and ideas and hired him to do the job. The project was started on a Monday and it only took 3 days to complete the work! Everything from grading the yard to building retaining walls, laying over 1000 square feet of sod to planting bushes, and laying tons of rock... Everything was discussed up-front and was included in the bid - no surprises or making it up as it goes situations and it was smoothly orchestrated. We even got a refund on some of the material that wasnt used. I have never seen laborers work as hard as Scotts crew and to take the personal pride and enjoyment in their work. And we appreciated that Scott brought out a crew that worked so well together. Those are some of the details that made us feel that we got a heck of a deal! It was an honor to work with Scott and his employees again and we are extremely blessed to have hired Shelton Landscaping. Our whole yard has been completely transformed and opened up. We are so impressed and excited to have hired Shelton, we are going to have him bid some landscape lighting to showcase his masterpiece and get a few trees trimmed too soon! We have definitely found our go-to landscape partner :)
