JB LAWN SERVICE in Arlington

Be careful! This company did a great job of actually cutting my lawn so I have nothing negative to say that; however I will definitely warn any prospective prospects about the professionalism of JB Lawn Service. You can definitely tell they are a startup with how business is conducted. There was no concrete method of payment, no invoices, and basically no way of holding both them or the customer accountable as to what was agreed as far as scheduling and pricing is concerned. I literally was quoted different prices over the phone on several instances with I believe is the owner. They were very responsive and attentive initially after after cutting my yard the first time, the owner (or at least the person I spoke with) became very unruly and slightly rude after I reached back out to set up another scheduled lawn. He basically called me a liar in our text thread and as you can see from the attached screen shot, even went as far as telling me that "It was fine if I went with who was cutting my yard before". His reason for changing the prices was because "he was traveling from Arlington, however I'm in Grand Prairie, so I'm failing to see the inconvenience there. I was very transparent with JB Lawn care about the state of my lawn over the phone and was quotes one price and then after making a pop up visit I was quoted a different amount 40.00 more than what I was told over the phone. (60-100.00) What really surprised me is that after cutting the grass, the owner I believe asked me if I could Cash App his 'wife' rather than him because I was having issues with Zelle which I had never used before. Again, the service itself was not horrible, however it you prefer to spend a little more for the peace of mind of knowing that you're dealing with a company that is legitimate, professional, and consistent...that's the direction that I would have have chosen to take.
