Better Lawn Service Inc has been taking care of our lawn for the past five years and we could not be happier with the service we’ve received from them. They are extremely responsive to phone calls or emails. They are always seeking to find a solution to any of your lawn care needs I highly recommend this company. It is rare to find this kind of service. It has been a pleasure working with them.
Charlie, Pat, and his team did a fantastic job on our yard project. They completed the project on time, very professional, and were great communicators. I would highly recommend this company. We already have plans for the next project.
Pat and his team did a wonderful job taking care of our lawn for several years and it has never looked better! We recently moved, but otherwise would still be using Better Lawn Services. They are fairly priced and very responsive and flexible. I have always appreciated their kind and professional approach to customer service and of course the great work they have done in our yard over the last several years. Highly recommend this business.
This family owned business is responsive, reliable and professional. They cleared weeds and mulched the yard and offered us a very competitive price. The owner, Charlie Dierkes, and his son Pat listened to our needs, gave us advice on what to do and completed the job in a few hours. We are now able to enjoy our outdoor space thanks to their work.
The owners and crew of Better Lawn Service are top notch! Highly recommend.
So far, I only had their service 3 times. Two mowings and one grub control. The mowings were excellent in my view. They collect the clippings so not to leave thatch behind and suffocate the lawn. This practice may not be popular to some homeowners or companies. But no matter how you slice or dice it, it is a fact that accumulation of grass clippings would eventually overwhelmed the lawn. The few points that I want to stress are: 1) Pat, the owner, does come around to check your lawn before giving an estimate. In my case, since the grass was not mowed for a long time, Pat initially thought that it would cost $$$$ for the initial mow but he said he would check the lawn out first. After checking the lawn, the cost turned out to be $$ only. Now that is an honest and ethical way of doing business. No blanket statement. 2) The crew applied the grub control with full consideration of the following facts: a) after a mowing, b) before the rain forecast. The thoughtfulness that blew me off was: they knew that I am unable to immediately water in the grub control chemical, so they applied it the day before the rain arrived. You cannot expect a more ethical, thoughtful and customized service than this. Last but not least, when I initially approached Pat to start his mowing service, I might have said something that may trigger him to think that I need quick service without delay. So he even referred me to his colleague. He was trying to help his colleague boost up his young mowing company. Pat was conscious of the quality of service that he provides: he does not want to be overwhelmed with work that the quality of his work decreases.
They did a great job planting new trees and other landscaping. And they have a great menu of lawn treatments they will handle for you you can select even if you do your own grass cutting. Their aeration service made a big difference. They are very responsive and friendly. I have used many firms either directly or indirectly as an HOA president in the past, and this team is the best in terms of quality work and pricing.
Paid premium price but they used weed wackers to (un-evenly) cut the lawn. It killed all the grass where it was cut too short and now $$$ to have another company re-seed where Better Lawn killed the grass. 😕
Deliberately stopped their truck in an intersection to prevent people from turning.
