BLACK BEAR LAWN CARE & LANDSCAPING in Arden

Would leave zero stars if possible. Terrible service. We live in Biltmore park and saw this company in there every day. Called them to inquire about large limb cut that was broken on tree. Spoke with Hispanic girl in office. She stated she would have the owner come by our house to look at tree and then call me with estimate and when he could come. She called me back twice stating he saw tree, could do it for $400 the next week and she would call a day or two ahead to let me know exact time he would be there. I continued to see their trucks in and out of biltmore park and four months later, I’m still waiting. They never called or came. Horrible service and work ethic. We own a business and would never schedule appointment and not call back or show up. Shame on you!

I absolutely recommend Black Bear Lawn Care & Landscaping. I worked with Armando and his crew. I needed an overgrown hillside cleaned up and cleared and a tree taken down. They did an excellent job. He and his crew are friendly, punctual and the communication was great. Armando checked in throughout the day to let me know where they were with timing and asked about different areas of concern that came up as they worked through clearing overgrowth and brush They also removed a large tree. Both the brush clearing and the tree removal were done efficiently and with care. Overall, an thorough and amazing job with the clean up, attention to detail, pace and end results. I could not be happier!

Armando & his team did an excellent job building a retaining wall on our property to prevent erosion, taking down some trees, and mowing/weed control. They were hard working & professional. I would highly recommend.

We had been looking for a regular bi-monthly mowing but, when we talked with Armando, we were pleasantly surprised to hear he had ideas for other landscaping projects that we had wanted to do. We had a sloping front yard and he proposed adding river rocks as a border to beautify it, as well as to keep mulch we'd asked him to put down from sliding off. It has worked very well, especially through the recent heavy rains, and we like how good it makes our front yard look. He and his crew also do our regular mowing and, along with blowing leaves and debris off of our decks and driveway, leave our home looking neat and presentable. We have other projects planned, but what we value about Armando is his reliability, courtesy, and quick responses to our communication because we haven't been that lucky with four other landscaping companies we'd previously hired. We highly recommend Armando and his crew for continuous and dependable good work.

Armando and his crew at Black Bear are true professionals. They transformed the small yard around our town home from a weed-infested mess with above-ground roots, weeds, and deteriorating plastic sheeting into a lush new lawn with sod and river rocks expertly arranged around the perimeter of the house. The above-ground tree roots in particular were one of the biggest problems. We had pretty much given up hope that anyone would be willing to help us remove these. But Armando's motto is "no job is too small." He visited our home, and within 24 hours we had a detailed quote by email. His crew set to work the following week, and completed the project in three days. It was clear that he treats his men well. Whenever I came out to talk to him or ask him a question, he was always very polite and friendly. I strongly recommend them for your lawn care and landscaping needs.

Black Bear Lawn service has been amazing!They have helped me get my mountain cabin into incredible shape mowing,mulching,weed eating,cutting trees,and landscaping.Hard working,reliable,and affordable.I dont know what I would do without Black Bear.5 stars!
