This is the first year I’ve used True Green and they have helped starting to turn my weed ridden yard into healthy grass. From the first visit, True Green was up front about about the challenges with my lawn and that it would take some time to turn it around. I appreciate the openness and honesty and have been seeing some real positive results throughout the treatments!
My lawn looks great this year. The Technician Alex B is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is a great representative for True Green as he explains the condition of my lawn and what he will be using on it each time he visits. The technician gets 5 stars but I am not a fan of their software program as it should show you the purchase agreement of your services and price you paid for it.
Just got home from work and there are signs in my yard and an invoice on my door and I have never used Trugreen! They did wrong address and now my dog can't go in his own yard?!?! 😭 If they can't get address right, what else do they get wrong? WILL NOT PAY THEIR BILL
We gave tru green a try this year. Well two weeks after every application I had to call as the product was not working. They argued with me every time giving me every excuse in the book. They would come between services even. Tru green is the highest priced compared to another service I found so if I'm paying top dollar I want top dollar results. After being fed up after the last application seeing no results in our lawn I requested a refund and was told no even though I am not satisfied with services provided. The hassle alone to call each time was a pain to be given the run around of excuses as to why it might not be working. Consider other options before going with trugreen.
Have used TruGreen for a couple of years now. We pay for the full year in advance. This year our lawn looks the worst it has in 20 years. I called to see when they had serviced it. End of March and end of April. It's August 1st. That's 3 months without service. They assured me they would be back within a week. They should have never gone this long between applications. Will not be using them again.
Called just to get simple pricing. Asked a ton of questions that literally had nothing to do with the call. Just wanted pricing for a simple mow and trimming. The guy seems interested in up-charging me because all he cared about was fertilizing and ants/spiders. Don't recommend them at all. Was a waste of my time.

A TruGreen technician (Appleton, WI) showed up at our property at an unscheduled time in September. He did not let us know when he arrived. I told him that our service wasn't scheduled for several weeks yet and asked why he was here (they had just fertilized three weeks earlier and next not scheduled for another few weeks). He said it was on the schedule and that we should've gotten an advance email and text. We got neither, and I let him know and asked that he have his manager contact me. I did not hear back from the manager. Within a week, our grass was burned up throughout our lawn. I then tried to reach the Appleton branch, but the local number routed calls to a central service center. As such, I explained what happened to a customer service rep who assured me I'd hear back from the manager. No one ever called. Five weeks later, I e-chatted with a service rep who said he'd escalate the situation to both the service manager and general manager and that "They will definitely call you back." That's been well over a week, and still no word. Poor and unprofessional service!
Terrible experience. Paid for a full season of service and had more crabgrass than ever before. I was offered a partial refund and inspection about 3 months ago with no follow through on either of those.

Annoying business. I have never used their services/products and never plan to. They harass my phone with calls and texts and send me garbage looking newsletters too. Cant seem to get rid of them.

I have been satisfied with the lawn care and can see the greener lawn with few weeds. I like the notes left with each application. Calista left helpful detailed notes. I was texted every step of the way @ time of arrival and to engage with questions if needed.

Tyrese stopped in on his first visit to meet me and made sure the lawn was completely sprayed. Nice using the Trugreen tracking service to know exactly the time of arrival. Hopefully they can help with many bare spots in my lawn.
I downloaded the Tru Green app and found it very easy to maneuver around. It was awesome that i could track the technician to the property and was able to meet him on site. The technician was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. There was some concern about the size of the property and the square footage that was figured but he assured me it would all be sprayed and taken care of to my satisfaction. Upon completion i was very pleased with the technician. I cant wait to see the results. Obviously the Public property will be viewed by many people which i hope leads to more business for Tru Green. Tru Green does a good job of maintaining a healthy and weed free lawn. The specialist Gangabahadur L. was polite and took the time to speak with me today.

TruGreen has been our go-to lawn service for about the past 8 years. We had some invasive Creeping Charlie taking over the lawn and they took care of that and other weeds very quickly. It is not recommended to treat this without professional help. Our lawn is beautiful and it is thriving. The service is so reasonable and their customer service is always top-notch from the phone service to the technicians.

I ve had TruGreen for a long time and what I ve noticed, their work has completely gone downhill!!! After my lawn has been fertilized by TruGreen, there is still a bunch of weeds and CRAB grass. Sure they ll come back out for free if you call them but defeats the purpose of their products working the way it should. I have since moved on to a local Company and I am much happier! If you re in the market for lawn services, do your homework, and look at LOCAL companies. TruGreen does not care about you or your lawn. They only want YOUR money.

Trugreen made an application to the exterior of the apartment building I live in I called the one 800 number three different times and couldn t get an answer on what product was used on the application. It seems like their system needs fixing
They spread pesticide with no care to wildlife or human life alike. They spray it into ponds. They dont post enough signs and the signs they do post arent visible on the actual property or near the picnic and dog walking/waste areas.

Update 4-17-2024: We had canceled an appointment last minute; we didnt get notified until the morning of and we just werent ready. I called the 1-800 number and Josh was super helpful and allowed me to pick a day to reschedule. I think because it was so last minute the technician wasnt informed in time. He showed up and I ended up talking to him via our doorbell camera and he was very nice! I believe his name was Tyrese! Even though this was kind of a tricky situation, both Josh and Tyrese were very helpful and kind! TruGreen is awesome! Our yard always looks great and they are super flexible!

Once again we were very pleased with the quality of service that Tru Green provided. Gangabahadut was very professional and patiently answered all of our concerns. The lawn looks better with each application. We still have some bare spots and a lot of weeds but this is a first year lawn. They will auto-renew your account without telling you. When I realized this, I tried to call and cancel. I was assured on two different phone calls that my services were cancelled. I received notifications of a pending service after those calls. I called a third time only for the representative to tell me that my account was not cancelled yet. Extremely frustrating and terrible customer service.
There used to be a time when the technician would blow the fertilizer off of the hard surfaces. I hoped you would bring that back as a completion of service.

My annual weed and feed service, I dont like or want Dandolines in my yard and my lawn always looks good.
I registered and they were on location within 48 hours. Didn t overcharge or have any hidden fees. I appreciate that they didn t try and upsell any extra services.

Have been having them service our lawn for 3+ years now and this year we are having no shows. Every time we call we get the runaround .it will be tomorrow,call again .it will be tomorrow. This has been in 4 different occasions. Today the excuse was they could not find our house?!!!! REALLY .if you can t find our house suddenly after this many years of service just doesn t make sense. Like you would think they would call you and ask directions.

If i could give this place a zero star i would! They are high priced and have technitions working for them that dont know anything! I worked in landscspe for many years. This company is going down fast. They used to provide great service but not any more. Customer service is rude and communication is horrible. I am a prepaid customer and just quit my remaining treatments. One technition told me in the fall of the year that my Spruce trees are dead. I dont even have Spruce trees, they are healthy Bald Cypress!! Run from these people!
Faith was friendly and courteous. She seen I had a 4 month old puppy and advised me of times restraints so she did not get sick. Even took a minute to rub her belly.
I have some trees/shrubs that have some issues and Joseph addressed them with me. What a sweet person he is.
Service tech was suppose to come out today. Never showed but yet sent notice that my lawn was serviced. This is now the third issue within the last two months. First two was lawn service was suppose to be done it was schedule and tech never showed. Had to be rescheduled both times. Was never notified as to why the tech never showed. It was not due to weather. And then todays issue of the tech stating it was serviced when it was not. No flags in the yard not the neighbors when I checked to see if the tech maybe went to wrong house. This is becoming very frustrating and making the company hard to deal with. I am ready to find a new lawn service provider that is reliable.

I wanted to say thank you to Rachel, who came to my house to apply the service today. Last week in the storms we had, I had dragged 2 limbs that had fallen in the street to my backyard. I had surgery almost 2 weeks ago and can t cut them up yet, so they were just laying in the grass next to my fire pit. Rachel got them all into my fire pit so she could apply the treatment to the lawn there. I did not see her do it, and didn t notice until after she had left. What a help it was to me. So thank you Rachel.

Andrew was communicative, very nice, and answered all of my questions. He heard my dogs bark and reminded me to wait an hour before letting them on the lawn. He provided the type of service I ve always expected but have only gotten once before.
Had asked twice for a tech to come out and spot treat our weeds and nobody showed up. When I called the third time they said they would come out. Then, the sales rep tried selling me a tree protection program which I said I wasnt interested. Her words Hahahaha. No protecting your investment. Check. That was all I needed to cancel our service. Never have I ever had a sales person treat me that way AS A CURRENT CUSTOMER. Follow up - CSR called and offered their apologies and were very sincere. They offered to resolve the problem but I already signed on to a different company.

Was told several times that a person was coming over to look at a tree that is dead,that they were supposedly taking care of, I had a appointment between 1030 an noon, no show no call, 4 days later still waiting..

This was the first time in about 20 years that we used a Lawn Care Service. This was the first time with TruGreen Lawn Care. We had a bad experience with a different service and local neighbors have told stories of problems on missed services - poor results. This first experience with TruGreen was fantastic. Last year our lawn went down hill fast - the service tech check the lawn out and reported he can bring it back - it will take a few treatments. He did the first treatment and we already see an great improvement - thanks TruGreen

I called to get a quote. I was 100% going to go with them but the sales person I talked to was way too pushy. The total was about $1,000 and I needed to talk to my wife who was at work at the time. I asked nicely to get a quote so I could talk with my wife about it. The sales person proceeded to give me the old sales trick of she sees what you see and wouldnt mind it. I said nicely one more time that if I spend $1,000 without my wife and I talking first that its not going to go over well. The sales person then continued to try and explain that this is not necessary and that I should just pay now. Instead of getting my business youve chased me away entirely. You need to rethink your sales tactics as this is an old outdated practice that any modern day customer is going to hate you for. I will now be taking my business somewhere else. Poor sales and business practices are the worst type of mistakes because they are entirely avoidable. However your VP of sales is fire him and get someone in their whos in touch with modern day sales.
For Truegree its all about getting stuff done as fast as possible while skimping on fertilizer! I have almost an acre lot and 5hey spend 11 minutes here. Many areas were missed as far as weed control. Had to have them come back. They also always have someone else doing the job every time which doesnt help. Once last year they mistakenly did my neighbors lot instead of mine. Had to call them back again. It was frustrating and I switched to another company.
Was a TruGreen customer for 3 seasons. Saw no change in the health of my lawn and even had weeds spreading. The mosquito repellent didnt seem to work either. When trying to cancel my services it turned out they automatically restarted the next year. Led to lots of frustrations and ultimate disappointment
Terrible service
This company showed up while I was at work. I came home and there was a bill attached to my door. I called the company and told them I did not order service. They gave me a cancellation number. I wrote a business letter and enclosed a copy of the bill to this company requesting they send me a statement noting a zero balance. A week later after I sent the business letter, this company sent me a bill noting my account is past due. To be frank, if i was ever interested in lawn service, I will NOT be using this company. Poor business practices, and I will be reporting my experience to the Better Business Bureau as well. The manner in which this company acted does not portray a world-class organization, but rather, an organization that lacks service, has poor leadership at all levels, and is not customer -focused.

Very easy to communicate with. Came in right away and did an amazing job with our weeds. Our yard is starting to look amazing. We switched our lawn care from another local company which was difficult to communicate with and schedule, they would come sporadically and not give updates on their work. TruGreen has been wonderfully easy to schedule service and they provide a detailed update after each service.
I should NOT have prepaid maybe they would show up then! They came once and never returned despite calls where they gave lots of excuses and fake promises and my lawn looks worse than before but the weeds are green at least.
I was looking to TruGreen to have Anti-Mosquito treatment done. I received a call from a national support person who provided a quote and everything was good. Then a local representative called and I asked about pollenators (bees and other helpful insects). The guy asked about where the pollenators would be located and I mentioned that they would be mostly everywhere due to flower pots and the garden. I mentioned that if the treatment would affect these that it would be a hard pass for us. To which the guy immediately hung up. I understand if that means we cant do business that is fine but dont just hang up. Be upfront and honest about your service and let the customer make the decision. Just plain ending a call like that is rude and is not a good reflection on the company as a whole.
Used these guys a few years back didn t have issues then. Came back this year had nothing but issues with them not showing up when they were supposed to. Someone showed up at my house last week and let themselves onto my property without notifying me not ok! Asked for our services to be done together this week didn t happen and the guy didn t show up again when he was supposed to. Most likely won t be using this company again very disappointed in service and the timing of staff. Also the fact that they let staff onto property without letting the owners know and I didn t even get a call in regards to that. They always seem to be in a rush to get the job done, but sure charge you an awful lot for services!
We like the phone call telling us when the tec will be here. They are always very friendly and more than willing to listen to any concerns we may have. If we do have a question, they give us an answer to satisfy our concerns.
New to this company and so far very disappointed. They never scheduled my 2nd mosquito service so I had to go on and do it. We had a requested a respray and I was assured they would be out in three days and they never showed. Call to talk to a manager and I was told I would not be able to talk to talk to one for 24 to 48 hours. Poor customer service.
Their employees drive recklessly on the highway. If I hadnt moved out of the way I would have been sideswiped by their TruGreen trailer after they passed me. Not a great way to represent your company in public.
Filled out a quote for price online. Was called 10 tens after that. Asked for a better quote to be emailed. The lady was rude and hung up on me. End of tru green for me

I would not recommend this company. We went in with the neighbors for spraying for mosquitoes anytime they come to spray our yards they only spray the neighbors. We have to call every time and remind them our yard is also included. It was a waste of money. They only take 2 mins to spray the trees and that s all. Highly recommend spending your money else where.
2 application done to date. The weeds are thriving, no indication the weed control has made any impact 20+ days after application. The grass does not look any greener, lusher, or healthier after the first two fertilizer applications. Called customer service with above - will see if they resolve the issue in a professional timely manor. Update 8/15/22: Called the local number 3 times and left polite, professional messages. No calls back. Called customer service to inform TG of the lack of results. No follow up. Third application completed today, no weed control. Superman speed getting the whole yard done in under 5 minutes. Cancelled my account.
If I was able I would leave a zero but that wasnt an option. A gentleman sold me on misquote control, lied about the amount of space they were going to cover. Lied about the price. Lied about the amount of times they were coming out. Then got attitude when I called asking about the price and amount covered. I would rather give my money to the field mice and let them make a nest out of it than give my money to a dishonest company. Highly suggest going local even if yiu pay a little more. Companys like TruGreen undercut people and get away with to much.
I would like to comment on one of your employees. I got home from work this morning and Clinton Brunette was spraying my lawn. I would like to say how respectful and courteous he is. Gave them a year and didn t see results desired. As many weeds as when they started. I didn t agree to auto renewal but they decided to do two months of service that I didn t request or agree to and then harassed me for months until I paid just to get them to leave me alone. When I did call to complain or try to negotiate out their salesman just hung up on me mid sentence. Honestly the worst customer service I ve ever seen. Buyer beware.

Live on Cedar Cliff Dr Hortonville truck driver driving way over speed limit. Tried calling office got a computer that is useless. If drivers drive this way then there work is done this way.
The lawn aeration and overseeding was scheduled and performed on time. If needed, I can always call for extra services as needed for example, if weeds are still present etc.
Was home today when my service was performed. I watched the tech get out of the van, push the fertilizer cart half way through my back yard, a single time, place a sign and called it complete. 1/3 acre lot, and he was here less than 2 minutes. No fertilizer visible anywhere. Cancelling service

Absolutely terrible customer service. No calls or texts as promised before showing up for services. Overcharged what they quoted us. After one of the applications, our lawn turned yellow. Took photos, called 800 number, since there is no local number and got a call center. Promised someone would be out to look at it within 48 hours. No one came. Called later to talk to a manager. Again was promised a call back in 48 hours. That was on 9/19. Still waiting. Called 9/23 to cancel all services. They still showed up 10/17 to do our lawn. Luckily I was home and turned them away. Still have never received a single response from this company.
Overpriced, complete salesman routine not caring about your needs and lawn. Just wanting to sell you everything anyways. I had to make a repeat call to get my refund started as the original call never started it on my request a week earlier. Stay local and avoid these type of places.
My lawn was dying, tru green was the right prescription in brining it back.
I called to ask about the safety of their lawn chemicals for my kids and the salesman was rude, unprofessional, refused to answer my questions about the safety of their products around kids and hung up on me.
Editing my review. I intend to put in a new lawn this year and I can not get someone to cancel my service. I have been calling every day and, after 40 minutes on hold, my call gets disconnected. The website says I can not cancel without making a phone call. Now I must contact my bank to make sure they do not take a payment. I will NEVER do business with them again.
This is probably one of the shadiest marketing emails Ive ever received form a company. Got a message that I call them to complete my cancellation, but I havent received TruGreen service for YEARS. Clearly a screen to get people on the phone and offered promotions. Marketing like this is in very bad faith.
We have used TruGreen for at least 15 years. 5 years ago we moved to the country where weed seeds blow around freely. Our yard looks amazing compared to those who either do not have a service or those who do it themselves. Thank you Julie D for a job well done. :) A very HAPPYcustomer!

I hired them last year and had nothing but problems. They came in and fertilized in an absolute downpour once and on top of the snow at the end of the year. They also seemed to struggle with gates on fences and tried climbing my fence to get in instead of opening the other gate. I canceled with them then switched to another company, who now was bought out by trugreen. First appointment they called and tried to say my gate was locked, it was not I told them to use the 2nd gate. I never had problems with the other company on this. Then they came back to do the job, got in and did it and left both gates open. Thankfully I noticed before the dogs were let out, but they are not a professional company to deal with and the customer service is absolutely atrocious! They responded to this review and told me to email them and got no response to that even.
I prepaid for a full year of service with Valley Lawn Care. Now they are sold to TruGreen and their billing department not only says I did not prepay, they stuck me with the cost of the first two services again... What a joke.
I pre-paid for the summer for the pest control, we ve seen no improvement in mosquitos from previous years with no service. I ve tried to call multiple times and can never get through to anyone. I finally got someone on a chat and was told they d send a technician to do another application on 7/7 (five days later). I said that was unacceptable as we are unable to enjoy our back yard in the evenings. The tech placed me on hold and came back saying he was sorry but that was the best he could do and ended the chat. Leaving me unable to respond. It s now 7/8 and no one has been here and I ve not been contacted. My husband just tried to sit out side and couldn t due to hundreds of mosquitoes. I ll be calling again tomorrow to demand a refund. 8/3/21 Update: I asked for a full refund since their service is guaranteed . After several calls I was ultimately told that there is no money back guarantee and that they only offer re-service if you have mosquitoes. I explained that they could come daily and it wouldn t make a difference as we ve seen no result from this service despite having a re-service and three regular treatments at this point. They refunded the treatment that wasn t completed and also the last one as they should have called me before that one was completed, but would not refund the other two treatments. Beware that their 100% guarantee doesn t put their money where their mouth is. We saw zero effect from these treatments and wasted hundreds of dollars buying into the guarantee. Buyers beware.
TruGreen has ripped the gutters off my home 4 times this summer dragging the hose around the house. It folds up... Cant get ahold of them for damages or to cancel service. They are fantastic in Wausau WI but terrible in Appleton WI. Update: Trugreen sent someone to fix the gutters, credited our account $60 and someone else from TruGreen will be doing the yard from now on. Satisfactory response from my point of view.
Stay away from there services. We hired another lawncare company at beginning of spring and bought a full spring/summer application contract they came right away did first application and did awesome yard look great then right after they were bought by trugreen and no one ever told us after several months no one came to do the next service so called the company was told trugreen took over and since then trugreen came out 1 time and i dont think they did anything yard is full of weeds fungus and thistle and this not the first time yard looked this way had trugreen years before and same thing because shape of yard i dont think they drag hose all the way around to lazy do the job.
They bought up the company we hired for lawn service Valley Lawn Care. We never even wanted this company! I cant honestly see a bit of good their doing either, the reason our grass looks as good as it does is from all the Milorganite Ive put down. Well just do it ourselves and cancel this.
I had pre-paid Valley on several of my properties who sold to Trugreen when only one half of my applications I paid for were completed. When I called my previous service company about when they were coming out I got Trugreen. The service person they sent I don t think he knew how to drive the spreader, he dropped excess of fertilizer in several spots burning my lawn, I have pictures. THEN I keep receiving a bill saying payment is over due, first 30days then 60 then 90. Each time I call Trugreen, I get Tennessee, next time Ohio, next time Minnesota, then Tennessee again. Each time I tell them I had pre-paid, they must had received this information and my money from the company they purchased. I told them each time I no longer wanted their services and return my money for the remaining applications, I will do it myself. If I don t receive some correspondence soon I will start informing my neighbor of my experiences.they also have TruGreen.
We were long time customers of Valley Lawn Care, a local company. It was sold and then a year later sold again to Tru Green. We have had nothing but problems due to their lack of responsiveness and lack of attention to what s going on with our lawn. If you call you get a call center and nobody calls you back EVER! I would highly recommend seeking another company. After over 20 yrs- we are switching .
We did not hire this company. They bought out the one we had contracted with, Valley Lawn Care. We worked with Valley for the first few applications and they had our grass looking great! Then TruGreen came in and what ever they applied killed it. I have tried reaching out by phone and email. Scheduled for someone to come and look twice and nothing has been done. They simply will not come and look at our grass and have a conversation on what happened. They DO NOT CARE!!!!
My last application burned my lawn. Tried to get ahold of them no local number the number I got was in Georgia they didnt relay the complaint for a week had someone come out looked it over and they said they would send someone out to reseed it within a week Im on week two nobody has come out yet and I cant call the local shop because they wont give out the number.
I have told them time and time again I only want lawn care, nothing else. After spending 30 minutes on a chat this week to cancel a tree and shrub fertilization I was told they changed my records and would only do lawn care. Well today, two days later, they show up again to treat tree and shrubs! They give you treatments you dont want and expect you to pay for them. When you call to speak with the manager you can never get through. As a matter of fact I am on hold right now and have been for ten minutes. This is ridiculous!
Not professional at all. Can not contact the local branch just their corporate call center. The person I spoke with at the call center was extremely rude.
I wouldnt even give 1 star. I hardly ever do reviews but this is the worst customer service, false advertising, and have billed us for more than what we had agreed upon. DO NOT USE THEM.
TruGreen mosquito service really works. We live in the woods and have used TruGreen for 2 years and will never go a summer without their mosquito service. I am allergic to mosquitoes and I can stay outside all day without any mosquitoes. They do come at night BUT in all fairness we live in the woods, literally. If you live in the city or country you need to try this service to get rid of ALL the mosquitoes during the day. Some places it works at night too.

The notifacations sent by email are great you know a day before they come and when they are there.
The team from Trugreen is great. We use just about all of their services because we are so happy. Worry free beautiful lawn, great looking scrubs/trees and no mosquitoes. Thank you.
Overpriced, and bad for the Earth
I was disappointed that my lawn application date was removed from my Trugreen app (and delayed) without posting a new date for service. I had to call to find this out. I think that, if you remove a scheduled date from your site you should immediately replace it with a new date so the customer if promptly updated.

Once you connect with them you will be very pleased as they keep track of every appointment, show up for every scheduled service leaving tips and info They make life so much easier and they have outstanding service techs who answer any question I have while theyre here spraying, fertilizing and getting rid of stubborn weeds! I really love the app for the ability to communicate rapidly. Also, my service man left great notes about what he did on his first application and what I should be aware of about lawn care.
True Green is the best!!! Our lawn has not looked this thick and green in years!!! We had used a different lawn care service for over 20 years and just were never quite satisfied but the price was cheap. We learned the hard way that cheap is not always better. Our lawn was becoming thinner and began to grow massive amounts of moss. We asked our old service to do an analysis of our soil to see what was wrong. They told us that they do not do soil analysis so I talked to a True Green rep (got a flyer in the mail) and they explained everything in detail and that they would send someone out to analyze our situation. Long story short, the moss problem is virtually gone and the grass is so green, healthy and thick and back to where it was 20 years ago!!! We literally stand at the window and stare at the lawn and admire its beauty! LOL! The technician leaves detailed information about what they did the day they come out and follow up with email. We re so glad we switched to True Green! Only wish we had done so sooner!

Never again will I use or recommend TruGreen as a lawn care service. Was told when I signed up that the cost was going to be $52 treatment. Yesterday I was charged $104 so I called up to see what happened and talked to the worst customer service rep to tell me they had also sprayed my yard with Grub Control. This I had no knowledge of and did not approve of when I signed up. They charged my account an additional $52 for the treatment!!! I expressed my displeasure and asked to be refunded which they refused to do even though I didn t ask for that treatment. This isn t how you should do business or treat new customers. You can beat I will never ever recommend or use TruGreen again. Also asked for someone from customer service to contact me back about the issue...yet to get a call...Stay Away from TruGreen!!!!

We will never use this company again nor will we recommend it to anyone. We had 3 weed applications and no weeds have shown any signs of dying. They applied grub control without checking to see if we wanted, which we did not want. This charge was very expensive. They are too expensive for their service.

I was looking at having a company come in and take care of my lawn maintenance. After looking at a couple different local companies, I contacted TruGreen. While discussing options, I was verbally attacked on the phone by the advisor and he said well were well know because we work with MLB and PGA and thats why were the number one. Well in my opinion, if you didnt have those two contracts, then youd be out of business due to the lack of customer service. Im not looking to get the cheapest out there, Im looking at the overall picture of it (price, how they initially treated your needs and wants, and overall customer experience). Id say if you want to earn more business, learn how to respect people and their thoughts, dont brag about having contracts with big names.

Constant (daily) attempts to upsell on unwanted services. After multiple attempts to work with the company regarding the up selling it was apparent that the company didn t care to address my concerns. Discontinued service with them after three months. Do not recommend to anyone.

Worst service ever gave specific directions and each person disregarded the notes ! Quit service last year hired them back this year because they said they could give SATURDAY service and would make sure to follow notes they showed up on a Tuesday didnt even check notes and rang the doorbell
The person who serviced our yard this week left our gate open. We have a dog who is our world and is a runner. I m so thankful that when my husband went to let our dog outside, he noticed that one of the gates was left open before our fur baby escaped. When I called True Green to report it, they said they were going to put a note on our yard work orders for the service person to be sure to close the gates. Are you kidding? Why would that be necessary? Isn t that simple common sense? Very, very poor customer service!!!! We ll be looking for a different yard care provider for next year. I will not take a chance with such carelessness when it comes to my precious pet!!!!
Horrific. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting quality service and customer support. Please send your reps for customer service training. They should not be placing blame on the customer for a mistake on TruGreen s end. They didn t show for the 2nd scheduled mosquito treatment, and are unwilling to make any accommodations to treat my property in a reasonable timeframe. They told me the service had been taken off of the schedule but weren t sure why as there wasn t any notes in their system. For my first treatment, I had to call repeatedly to get the service I had paid for. I prepaid for the entire season for a reason: my property needs the regular treatments all season. I will be cancelling my contract and will not settle for anything less than a full refund. Customer service representative was very snarky, to the point of insulting me as a customer. The manager I spoke with wasn t much better.
Terrible experience. I looked them up online, submitted a request for service. I was called seconds later and sold a package involving 7 treatments - first one at 29.95 special price, others around 40 each, with an aeration once a year at 199. The rep specifically stated I would receive a call to schedule my first service and recommended I be there so I can understand what the treatment plan would be. I never received a call then came home one day to find notes that theyd been here without my knowing it. I called customer service and they told me I was listed as Dont call prior or something like that. Also I would be billed $81 instead of the 29.95 promised because he went and added an additional application. I was told by the service rep that I had to pay it because it was done, even though I never authorized it. I had stupidly given my check card number out to the original sales rep that sold me the plan, so because they refused to credit it, I had to cancel my card. I then called back Trugreen later and asked for a supervisor who only reluctantly agreed to credit the additional application, and didnt really care that I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of contact as agreed. I cancelled my plan of course now i have to order a new check card. Would NOT recommend this company.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. The Customer service from the people who apply the fertilizer I would rate as good but the people who you talk to on the phone are terrible. I had to wait over 2 weeks to talk with a lawn care professional because they burned my lawn. The response I got back was well maybe we did it, lets see how it looks in the fall. Since then they put another application on an already stressed lawn. If I wanted a brown lawn I could have put round up on a lot cheaper than paying over 800 dollars for the season.
Never had a grub problem until these people came around. None of the techs ever said anything or commented on the problem. They apply the product as fast as possible and move on.
They dont have a Riding sprayer so thay walk around dragging a hose and end up missing most of my yard,they are always in a hurry to get there day done.. this company is very over priced and they have no update equipment the company seems very unprofessional.
