After many estimates, we decided to employ J&J. And so glad we did .What an outstanding job they did taking down a huge oak in the back of our home .The process was Precision at its best .Very organized, detailed in their approach and led by an amazing team of workman who were obviously very trained in their craft .We live in a gated community and lots of rules to follow as to how this should be done so it is exact and not disturbing to others. Well, I can only say J&J did it all.PERFECTLY. Thank you Our crane operator, was excellent and showed great pride in his team and their work ..

These guys were prompt, hardworking and very efficient. The man on the grapple truck was able to pick up small piles of brush with the grapple bucket without damage to the lawn. These guys are true professionals.

This company may do a good job but I would never use them because of what I experienced today in my neighborhood. These guys had there equipment and debris spread all across the entrance to our neighborhood, there is only one way to get into our neighborhood, it was completely blocked !!!! Multiple people that live here were just piling up on the highway with(no turning lane ) it was a mess and your guy had the nerve to shake his finger at us for trying to get to our homes !!! This guy needs a talking too !

I was very happy with their work. I was very nervous about a crane being used to bring down a HUGE tree, but they made it look easy. They were in an out in about an hour and a half, all cleaned up. The stump grinding service was the hardest part, the guy did a great job with the mess of roots he had to chase.

Honestly stop searching and just go with them. We ve had our trees trimmed by another company and weren t satisfied. These guys fixed years of awful cuts (by previous owners/tenants) on two trees in the front of my home and removed a problematic tree in the backyard. Every person I dealt with along the way was wonderful. After all the work was said and done, they cleaned up every bit of debris. We ve definitely found our tree trimming company for years to come. By FAR, the best tree removal service weve ever used. They were on time, safe and professional. They used their own crane to take out a very large tree in our backyard. The crane operator and tree cutters used headsets to be in constant communication with each other. They were amazing! Took out 2 huge trees and hauled them away, done by noon. They also did work at our neighbors and did a great job there. Will definitely use them in future. Oh, and their pricing is very fair and reasonable! Thank you J&J.

The team that did my tree trimming were AWESOME!! Im very, very pleased with the quality work done today. They arrived on time, got to work and did an exelent job on my tree. The trimming was surgical. They were very careful of how the large limbs were cut and dropped to the ground. Attention to safety and respect to the home and flower beds was everything you could ask for. They were also able to give assistance to the passing cars to be sure everyone was safe. The yard was cleaned up and left very clean. I highly recommend this company and they will be my first call if I need additional work.

They were supposed to come to my house to give me an estimate on the work I needed done. They called just before they were to be here and said they couldnt make out here. They asked me take photos of my trees and they would give me a price from the photos I took of the trees that needed trimming. I had a question about the equipment to be used on my lawn so they were to come out and take a look for themselves. We had an appointment set up... They never called or showed up to see the work I needed done. I never heard from them again. Obviously I would not recommend them! Cant count on them to do what they say... not reliable.

I had 3 trees removed by this company. The employees that work at this business were Professional from the estimate to completing the job. They were early to start (which is unheard of anymore) and they went to work immediately and did not stop until the job was complete. They all worked together like a well oiled machine. The quality of the job they did was unmatched to any other. The office personnel were professional and willing to work with you. I would definitely recommend this business. They are beyond a 10 :)

These guys did a top-notch, A-plus job. They removed a behemoth-sized Laurel Oak in my front yard, a huge oak in my neighbors yard and some heavy trimming of other trees. They had to lift sections of these trees at a time with a huge crane, including the tree in the back, which those had to be swung over the roof to safely remove them and not damage our septic tank and drain field. All the heavy equipment remained on the street. They were so careful and worked safely and efficiently. Im impressed. I dreaded having to do it but that was emotional energy wasted as it all work out beautifully AND they quoted me the best price. Thank you for doing a fantastic job!

Overall extremely poor encounter. They dont return calls after promising to callback. They dont follow instructions/requests on trimming trees. They wanted/demanded payment upfront before work was done, even before they were onsite. They charged to trim a tree that was already trimmed stating that there is a standard tree charge regardless of how little is trimmed. They left clippings on the lawn. Then was told that they cant trim the tops of trees as the tree trimming service does not include tree tops. The photos are the after the trimming was complete.

I have used J&J twice now; they trimmed oak trees and palm trees. They did an excellent job both times. The trees havent had any issues with their health (too soon to tell with the most recent trim, but the original didnt give us any issues) since their haircuts. And they clean up after they are done with the trimming, something my neighbors greatly appreciate, Im sure.

We had J&J remove a dead tree. From the time the estimator showed up until the last bit of cleanup was done every person we dealt with were real pros! I had 3 oak trees trimmed. The trees themselves are fine but I was disappointed in the customer service. Garbage and kerosene left in my yard, a liner around a fire pit pulled up and not replaced. No one asked me to look at the service before they left and no one responded to my email. For reference, $1260.

We sadly had vey large trees that were hit by lightning and from the initial call J&J was amazing. They gave a detailed quote with the scope of the work and their action plan, they were able to get to our property quick due to emergency situation, were punctual, polite, and most of all CLEAN! Simply the best in Central Florida in price, performance, and professionalism. They removed for me a very large pine tree from a difficult location, and heavily trimmed several oak trees. I used J&J tree service to remove two large oak trees in my backyard. They were a long way from the driveway and required a huge crane. They also had a scissors lift that they drove up to the tree and then a bobcat out front to handle the cut pieces. They had a climber go up from the scissors lift and tie off large chunks of the tree to the crane. Then he cut the piece. Then the crane operator lifted them and moved them to the front where a guy with a chainsaw cut them into smaller pieces. The guy with the bobcat picked them up and stacked them for removal. The team worked together as well as any group of people Ive ever seen. At first, I thought everything was just extremely well planned but it was more like it was choreographed. They didnt need much in the way of communication with each other, they all knew their jobs, what to do and when. I was amazed at how quickly it went. Every guy knew his machine and knew how to operate it extremely well. It was very impressive, even the neighbors came to watch. The following day the truck came to lift the debris and again, the operator of the truck expertly worked his machine. I swear he could pick up a dime off the street with that claw. Finally, a guy showed up to grind the stumps and he knew his machine as well as any of the others. If I ever need tree work done again, I will call J&J. I recommend them without reservation.

An excellent job, they were very respectful of my property. They put everything back that they moved, took the very dead tree down efficiently, carried all of the tree to their trailer, and cleaned up. I had flagged all of my sprinkler heads... they all survived! Good job guys! Services

This is a good news, bad news assessment. They do very good work, but I felt way overcharged. The estimated time was for four hours and $1525 Actual time was two hours. Getting anything done, not in pictures was like pulling teeth. My recommendation is get more than one estimate, and if you use J&J, have pictures taken of every tree, every branch and every leaf Being told, the crew will take care of that, didnt happen.after waiting four months, no response. They had no problem contacting me for contract or telling me my payment was processed. These people are unethical, dishonest, unprofessional, and totally shameless

Right before hurricane Ian came through, we had a pine tree in the back yard which has gotten hit by lightning. Once the hurricane came through the pine died and trying to find a tree service to remove it (along with 2 more ) was difficult. All the tree companies contacted, were on waiting lists of approximately 2 to 3 weeks. We had previous experience with another tree company and the outcome was a mashed roof and a number of trusses being broken due to them dropping the oak onto house. So my anxiety level of another tree removal kept me awake at night. I asked for recommendations from trusted people I knew, I googled, researched, and came upon J&J Tree Service! We called for an estimate they came out the next day gave us the estimate and then another hurricane - my anxiety level then reached a new threshold. I called J & J and explain to them that I knew that they were 2 to 3 weeks out that s what we were told and all the other tree companies were booked as well. I explained what needed to be done and like a miracle from heaven above - they came that very day, and took out all three of those pine trees!!!!!!!! J & J went above and beyond anything that I could ever imagine! From the office staff and the calls back and forth, to the guys who actually did the work and clean up, they were AMAZING! They not only removed all three pine trees, but they cleaned up like they had never even been there. They did it through the rain and the wind! They were professional, friendly, thorough, neat, tidy, quick, and just phenomenal. I can t thank them enough or give enough praise for what they did for me and my family. A very nice person came out to give me an estimate. One of the items I needed done was urgent, and they assured me they could handle that for me (a couple of big loose branches from the storm) They later emailed me different things they can do with different prices. I called them back but could only leave messages with the front desk. They assured me twice I would get a call back but that never happened. I still have the loose branches in the tree too, such horrible service. This company just doesnt care about you.

Two weeks ago I hired J&J s Tree and Lawn Services to remove a 32 year old Sweet Gum tree on the corner of my home lot. When the men arrived I tried to communicate with them and make sure they knew my concerns and so on. They were actually going to cut down a different tree had I not stopped them! Anyway, they did a great job cutting down my huge tree. But then they stacked the debris on my lawn which I work so hard to keep nice. I was under the impression they would immediately put the debris into their truck and I asked one of the guys about that. He told me they would put the debris in their truck and then they put it all on my lawn! In order to fit their crane in place they cut some branches off of my other tree without asking me first. They also stopped traffic on my road, a total road block and some cars had to turn around! It was nuts. They cleaned up pretty well and a few hours later they came back to remove the debris with their special truck with the claw grabber. My lawn was damaged. It was a complete week until they came back and removed my stump, and another few days until they removed that debris. Communication between J&J s was terrible. There was no verbal communication, it was done by texts. So, in the end, was I happy with the job and the service? No, not completely. What should have been done in a day or two took over 2 weeks start to finish. They did not ask for money up front. I only paid them after the job was completed. It s too bad because I would have rated them higher than 3 stars, but because of lack of communication and how long they took to finish the job, I was not entirely happy. They were the lowest of 5 bids that I got to do the tree and stump removal. I probably will not hire them again, though they did remove the tree and stump as contracted.

I watched intently as these skilled and efficient workers trimmed and made beautiful the huge live oak tree in my back yard. They moved around as if choreographed, directing falling limbs, and themselves to assure safety and the integrity of my house and yard. I could not ask for a better experience, and would recommend them wholeheartedly. The price was very acceptable, the equipment top-notch, and their clean-up when they were done left my yard and surrounds better than when they arrived. Originally I gave them a 5 but at the end of the job after everything removed and the tree stumps grinders (which have to be done at a separate visit FYI) they didn t remove all of the mulch that two 25-year old oak trees created. They said all they do is grind the stump. Who knows if they put that in some small print somewhere? The point is why would you start out doing this whole job great and at the end leave us with this? Just quote it out in the beginning and let us choose. Or don t nickel and dime people and just include it in the quote. It took 8 back-breaking hours and 8 large outdoor trash cans to get the mulch up and then get rid of it. I really loved them in the beginning but beware the ending left a bad taste. Here s my original review: They blew us away with their professionalism, and friendliness (despite numerous questions.) 4 guys, and a crane, removed two 25 year old oak trees in 3 hours. They re incredible to watch. They left a neatened pile that had to be picked up the next day. They kept their word and it was done. Waiting to have stumps ground down but they were so great I didn t want to wait to post the review. Would highly recommend.

Even with the power off they did an amazing job keeping everything away from our house and power lines. They were in and out in 2 hours and cleaned up everything. J & J tree service exceeded our expectations. Jeff and his team of highly skilled professionals gave us an estimate to removed 2 30-year-old camphor trees that were over 100 tall each with a trunk circumference of over eight feet each, were very close together and limbs hanging over the roofs of two homes. They said they could take them down and grind the stumps the same day. They also quoted me a price which was lower than their competitors. I hired them immediately. But was really amazing, is when they arrived on the next day. They brought a fleet of first class / high-tech machinery including a massive crane. All of their crew were wearing safety gear and what looked like space shuttle helmets with built-in avionic communications. WOW! I can t say enough great things about J & J tree service. The tree trimming was adequate, but the stump removal was not. The entire scope of work was not completed and even the stump where he attempted to do the grinding was left incomplete. I contacted the office and did receive a call back, but once they received my check that was the end. I never heard back on the stump grinding rescheduling even after submitting the pictures and getting confirmation that the job could be completed. Certainly not a way to do business or deliver good customer service.

Adequate. The estimator rescheduled twice so it took forever to get our quote. Some of the work being done was inside the pool fence but I guess the estimator did not take that into account because they couldnt figure out how to access that area with their equipment. We ended up having to cut a portion of our fence for them to get in there, with no help from them about having that repaired. The tree work itself was fine but they did not clean up after themselves, tree-wise or personally. Lots of pieces of trees left around, in addition to their empty drink containers left all over my lawn. Caused extensive damage to our sprinkler system that they claimed they are not responsible for so we had to pay for that in addition. The job is done and was finished quickly but certainly not impressed. Ive had better experiences with other tree companies who take responsibility for the damage they cause and clean up after themselves better. Wouldnt bother using them again.

Great customer experience! They arrived on time and finished when they said they would. They removed two 40 foot Magnolia Trees without damaging a single shrub or a blade of grass on my property. The crane parked in the street, the climber cut the tree in sections and secured the limbs, the crane lifted the limbs to the street, never touching the property, then the chipper did the rest. Professional company at a great price. Highly recommend their service.

Jeff and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to get my tree removed. I had a large Laurel Oak Tree that they removed just a foot or so from my home. The whole crew uses Bluetooth headsets to communicate with each other, so safety is always the top priority. They were diligent in getting the job done in a timely/safe manner. Once they had removed the tree, they raked the yard and made sure it looked liked they had never been there before. My across-the-street neighbor also used their services after seeing what a spectacular job they did. He was impressed as well. Jeff gave me a competitive quote and did not try to take advantage of my little knowledge of how much it would cost to fell and haul away a tree. I will only recommend using J&J and can easily say you will not be disappointed by the job they do.

Their quote was well in line with the going rate and we went with them because they had the equipment to take the tree down safely without damaging any of the surrounding landscaping. They were AMAZING. From Jeff first coming by to look at the tree, to the final clean up, they were professional, knowledgeable, and clearly skilled at what they do. Oddly enough I m not giving them a review for cutting trees but for saving our cat from a tree. She had been up there several days and we had no way of getting her down from how high she was. Jeff returned my call very quickly and was out within 20 minute to check it out. He sent Nick out 30 minutes later with a lift to get our cat down. Nick was awesome and very concerned about our cat! They were professional from beginning to end. Their quote was detailed and clear. Their cost was competitive (we got 4 quotes before choosing them), and they did everything they said they would do. Their workers were polite and professional and they did a great job cleaning up after the project. We had 2 trees removed and all our trees trimmed. There was a mountain of debris neatly piled in front of my house when they were done, and by 8 am the next morning a truck picked it all up, including raking up every last branch. They accidently broke a sprinkler head, and by noon they had a repairman out and had it fixed. I cant imagine ever using anyone else. Weve lived here for 25 years and had numerous tree services in the past, J&J is by far the best.

My husband are so impressed with our experience with J & Js Lawn and Tree Service. It was one of the very best experiences from beginning to end we have ever had with any company for any reason. They were on time for their estimate (it was very reasonable), and they were on time for the scheduled tree removal, and stump/mound grinding. The work was professional and the cleanup was exceptional! Somehow they took down 2 very large Laurel Oaks, ground the stumps and the giant mound of roots, and didnt seem to damage a blade of grass in the process. You cant even tell the trees were ever there! The staff from beginning to end was kind, courteous and professional. Even when a neighbor was concerned about their equipment being near their property, they went out of their way to reassure the neighbor and make sure he was satisfied with the end result. We cant recommend this company enough! Fair, reasonable and professional! We would definitely use them again if needed!

The crew did a great job cutting down my tree. However, the tree stump and a trench which was supposed to be part of the job was never handled. Three weeks later and no response. Its unfortunate as they did a good job cutting down the tree.

I did not have a great experience with this company at all. They came and aessed my tree situation and came out 3 weeks later to do the job. I indicated that I needed the trees that were directly over hanging my pool to be cut and after a couple hours, I see that they cut down the wrong branches. After this takes place, I have to arrange for them to come back out and cut the correct ones. Once again, I take the day off of work to be home. They get there and quickly find out that they would need the crane for this job and will have to come back another day. This information could have easily been relayed over by the first guy. While all of this is happening, Im trying to get the owner, Jeff, on the phone and he wont answer or return my calls. His responses on email are very delayed and certainly not professional at all. After the job was done, I realized that they left a huge hole in my backyard and branches all over my roof. It took them a week to come back out and fix it. They completed the job in Mid October and its now late November and I just received the invoice. I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone.

We needed a large oak removed due to our septic system replacement and the tree was diseased anyway. From start to finish, it took about a week to be on the schedule and all work completed. They did a wonderful job of removal which took less than 2 hours on about an 80 tall tree, cleaned up after themselves, came back the next day to grind the stump and surrounding roots and the third day was hauling away all the debris. This company was the most reasonably priced between all three quotes I received. Would recommend them all day!

Im very impressed by their work! A crew of 4 people with 4 vehicles (2 trucks, 1 tractor and 1 crane) came earlier than expected, trimmed 4 big oak trees quickly and efficiently. They coordinated very well, cleaned and shredded the tree trimmings. Upon my request, they saved some good wood logs aside and gave me the shredded mulch for gardening, which took them additional 20 minutes to unload. Highly recommend!

J&J trimmed our Viburnums, palm tree and front oak and were in and out leaving the yard nice and tidy. they even offered to mulch a dirt area on the side of my house. Estimator Al was on the money and a great guy too. if you call you want be disappointed.

J & Js Lawn & Tree Services has helped me numerous times with upkeep at our commercial properties and always does an excellent job with trimming and clean up. Most recently, they removed a couple trees and replaced them for me and everything went very well.

This was a great experience from start to finish. We had to have a tree removed and others trimmed. The quote process was quick and price was reasonable. Though they offered to get the permit, the process for us to acquire permit for tree removal was explained (our city engineers were familiar with J&J, which helped speed things up, I think). Once we scheduled, they were punctual, professional, and completed the job within the allotted time. They cleaned up and it was like the tree just vanished with no evidence any work to do it. In fact, they did better than our own landscapers at cleaning. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I have used J&J Lawn and Tree service on a continual basis. I have them trim 3 palm tree twice a year. In addition I have some very large pine and oak trees that I have had them trim up for me. When I had a very large oak tree that had to removed to prevent damage to my home they did it with upmost care and grinded the stump down. Their equipment is top of the line and their attention to detail and personnel are the best in my opinion. You won t go wrong with this company.

Jeff personally met with me to review the option of removing an oak tree very close to my house. The crew was very careful and professional in removing to ensure no damage to house or yard with the equipment. They carry the proper insurance to include workers compensation which many companies do not.

J&J removed a large Camphor Tree from our backyard in March 2019. Jeff s entire team was punctual, friendly and worked hard to remove the tree quickly. The price quoted was very competitive for the size of the tree. Once they were finished, they cleaned up perfectly! We had J&J come back two weeks ago to grind the stump and place sod throughout our backyard and update our irrigation. The irrigation work was much more extensive than we anticipated, but they fixed it perfectly! The sod looks great! And, once again, Jeff s entire team was kind and professional. We will definitely continue to use them to upkeep our remaining trees!! Heather

J&J Tree service recently did some tree work for my dad and he was very impressed. I needed some trees removed and stumps ground, so I gave them a call. The entire process was fantastic. Professional and knowledgeable, every guy that came on my property did an amazing job. They took out 5 large oak trees, and ground 7 stumps in one day. I was very impressed with the workmanship and the price was very fair as well. Could not recommend this company more.

My husband and I are first time home owners. We bought the perfect starter home for ourselves and our kids. Not long after the purchase we experienced some plumbing issues caused by the roots of two really big trees in our property. Thats when we started to call some tree companies to get quotes. J&J Lawn Service were great to work with from beginning to end. They gave a very competitive rate to take down 3 trees. Their crew arrived early every day ready to work and very professionally took care of our trees. They have a ton of great equipment to work with and were very tidy with their work and made it a point to clean-up to appear as if they had never even been there! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of Tree Services. I hear they also do driveways as well (removing those stubborn tree roots that caused them to deteriorate in the first place).

With hurricane season coming up we decided to have them come out to trim up a few trees that were making us nervous. Our Norfolk pines were quite large and too close to our roof! Al came by and took his time walking around the property and checking the trees. I learned a lot about our surrounding trees. We got 2 estimates and J & Js was the most reasonable. About a week later the crew came by and did a fantastic job taking down limbs and the pines. They cleaned everything up at the end too! Very quick, good price, and professional

I cant say enough good things about this company. Before Hurricane Irma hit, they found a way to squeeze us in. If it had not been for J & J, I would have a giant tree through my roof today. I cant say enough about this company and its crew. They were on time, worked nonstop, and under a nasty pour down of rain that came on them for a long period of time. They live up to their model for sure! They left our property cleaner than when they first arrived. The crew were very respectful and corteous. Im very pleases with the work performed on this day. They took down two huge trees, grind one stump, and trimmed the front lawn tree as well. Thumbs up for J &J tree and lawn Service!!

J & Js did a fabulous job of taking down a tree and trimming almost all of the other trees in my yard. You would not know they were even in our yard after they finished as the yard was completely raked and clean! Everything looks so much better now! Al Saline was a great guy to work with, and was very professional! Thanks again!!!

Due here at the house at 11:30 am today at 1 pm still not here, had to call them and the person said i guess i should of called but now it will be 3 pm before they come. Guess what, did not show and am still waiting for a call. Not happy with this type of attention. Expect better from a Professional Company
