Be aware, this company will continue to invoice you even after you request to stop service! Pro-Re. Invoiced me for 2 months after requesting in an email that I was very unhappy with their service. In addition their products do not work, even after a year of broken promises. The owner and the tech always tried place the blame on something else like sprinkler, watering times, etc.

Do a great job all around. Never have issues with getting ahold of anyone. They are quick, responsive and do outstanding work!

It was refreshing to find a company that actually has industry knowledge and not just try to upsell services for the sake of the mighty dollar.

They came out and sprayed our lawn yesterday the owner came by today to check on the irrigation. Derek truly cares about his business and dies to deliver quality. We are looking forward to seeing our yard get back to a yard that we are proud off.

Bought a piece of equipment that they were selling. I am also in the horticulture/fertilization industry. I have to say that I am very impressed with the knowledge and experience that the owner has. If I ever needed a good fert/pest subcontractor Protex would be the first place I went.

I requested a quote online this past Sunday, and received an email confirmation that they would be out the next day. Fantastic! We need help getting some of the weed issues under control at our new house and we re also interested in home pest control. Monday comes, and by midday there s been zero communication from the company regarding when they would be out to provide a quote. I called and no one answered - it went straight to their recorded line. I tried again shortly after and the same thing - no response. I work from home, didn t leave the house, and yet no one showed up at all on Monday. Or Tuesday. Or so far today. It s now Wednesday and I finally received a quote, via email, from the company. But only after I called again this morning and left a voicemail inquiring as to the status of the quote. Their recommendation was sod replacement - which is understandable, however, the technician quite literally never came to our door or conversed with us, so I have no confirmation anyone actually came out to our house to conduct a quote. We also live in a gated neighborhood, of which I never provided the access code to, so I find it interesting that the quote was performed without my knowledge or assistance. It s quite possible they looked up the address on Google and found the old house listing, which included extensive pictures of the yard. I honestly have no way of knowing. There was zero communication from this company and I m extremely disappointed due to all of the wonderful reviews. We were not expecting miracles since we live in a rural area, but we never even given the opportunity to discuss anything, with anyone, regarding what we were looking to realistically achieve. If you re okay with zero communication and being written off, then I guess this company is the way to go.

My wife and I laid down a few thousand feet of Classic St.Augustine sod that had bugs and fungus. I called up Derek at Protex and he was here within a few hours just like he said he would be. He gave me a lot of information about what was going on with the sod and took his time to explain to me what to look out for in the future and what to expect as his guys nursed my lawn back into premium condition. A couple months later and WOW! I now have the best lawn in the neighborhood. Thank you Derek! Highly recommended five star service! I will recommend you and your fine company.

During our recent home remodel project, we were replacing the floors throughout the main level of the house. When we removed the baseboards, we discovered insects crawling out from behind the boards, from the drywall. It was a pretty unnerving experience! They were living in the baseboards and destroying the wood and drywall. We called Protex Lawn Care & Pest Control for their expertise. A representative from Protex came out the same day to check everything. He was very knowledgable and knew exactly what needed to be done. He came back the next day to fix the issue and we havent had an issue since. We were very impressed with the knowledge, efficiency, professionalism and the ability to fix the issue permanently and in a timely fashion.

After trying various products to get rid of our roach problem, I finally caved and called in a professional - and SO HAPPY I DID!! Derek and his team are awesome and immediately after they were here, already noticed a huge difference! Roaches in FL are serious problem and trying to sort them out on your own is next to impossible. Save yourself a ton of time and aggravation (and money...), they were great! So happy we used them, great service, top notch pest control company. Totally recommend to anyone with a bug problem!

Had a lawn that was taken over with weeds and holes. Protex took care of all the weeds and the grass started to fill the holes. Couldnt have asked for better results.

We had a contract for lawn and pest control.The first time the technician came out he was great. Then they said that it was not his route and so they gave us another guy. The new guy was not thorough. Every time he came he would have to come back again. I had long weeds on the side of the house (he did not treat that area) also several huge fire ant nests and DOZENS of wasp nests. My gutter installer got stung 4 times. I can upload pictures to prove it. He said there was NO way that a nest that large was treated recently. I emailed them and spoke to Candice. Instead of apologizing and accommodating me with a new technician she responded our technician is fantastic we will part ways. Very UNETHICAL and bad business! Saying this when we have a contract speaks volumes on their customer service and professionalism! Take some accountability! It would have been fine if they just apologized and gave me a new technician. All they can say is that he was fantastic. Not unless you want bugs and weeds! I even texted the owner DERRICK and he did not have the courtesy to respond which was disappointing because when I initially dealt with him he seemed like a stand up guy. Apparently he and his business is a JOKE and so is his receptionist CANDICE. I see they made a petty response by mentioning the customers name and making flat out lies saying I was badgering them. If respectfully emailing them saying there work was not done properly is badgering them then they are uneducated with their vocabulary. Also, apparently me coming from another state and not an expert in pest control and lawn care is an excuse for their very poor work and lack of customer service. For them to even mention that, I feel embarrassed for them to make such a rediculous comment. Are they that desperate that they have to cop a plea by making an excuse for themselves by pointing the fingers at the customer? Have some dignity and apologize for their terrible attitude and work. I think customers will see how petty they are by their response (2 months later).

My lawn looks great now due to Brad and his hard working team!
