I ve been working with Junior, and he s great at helping understand exactly what my lawn needs to look its best year round. He takes special care of my lawn and it gives me peace of mind to know he s on it.

Great customer service and specific kudos to the service tech (Anthony). He not only is a wealth of knowledge with lawns but also very personable. Everygreen is lucky to have him on their team. Anthony is the only tech I request to take care of my lawn and he has been there for many many years. Thanks again. FF No longer a 5-star ... 0-star if could... Poor managment that refused to discuss an issue with Nov, service. Incomplete service - did not deliver herbicide! Service cancelled and anyone looking for lawn service, my suggestion is find someone you trust or do it yourself. They care about the number of customers and not the actual service provided. Evergreen lost a $1200/per year customer - good riddance!! Also Anthony is no longer there at Evergreen and I can understand why he left the company. I kept them for 4-5 years only due to Anthony and as expected after he left they did show how they treat customers complaints - just ignore it and bury their heads in the sand. F

After 3 years of great service it went down the tubes. Horrible technician, horrible customer service. I cancelled their service and still being billed for a phantom service that never happened. Ive written 2 letters to no avail. Ive called many times and they will not let me talk to anyone. They promised me a call back 5 times. Still nothing. So....now Im writing this review, reporting them to both the BBB, and the appropriate State agencies. Enough is enough! Stay away, ZERO integrity!

This company started off strong and unfortunately cant get it together. I have given them months to get my lawn back on track and they cant do it. They have killed lawn and its covered in weeds. I now have to spend a lot of money to have it resodded. DONT USE THEM!!!!

I spoke to Mike B. While he was working in the condo common areas and he took the time to stop what he was doing to come to look at my plants on the patio in the back. Hes a very honest man as he told me what my plant had theres no cure and I highly appreciate that he didnt just try to sell me something

After we had cancelled service, was billed $175 saying that they had come out to our house for 3 applications, which never happened. Would never recommend any service from this company, seeing no difference in my lawn within 2 years of application.

NOT WORTHY OF ONE STAR. GOGGLE REQUIRES IT. NEVER use this company. They took over a smaller company in my community who was very reliable and no issues with them - however - Evergreen does not care. The last visit has left me with severely damaged plants in garden - some very well established plants. This is the second time it has happened and I have had enough. When I called to report the problem there was clearly a lack of interest. ?!? I cant have them on my property again.

Unfortunately after a year of service and prompt payments they rammed a riding mower into our gate, destroyed it and stopped our automatic payment to them after a complaint, stopped answering our emails and several voicemails asking for a way to make things right. Absolutely do not recommend. People can be terrible and this is a prime example of it, no responsibility. Please do not hire them

Used their services for over a year, but we noticed some spots, where weeds started to grow (but Evergreen claimed they had been treating them...) Spent the last month trying to get a supervisor out here, but they cant even be bothered to contact you regarding any updates. I even had one of them put priority on our case, but I guess priority is 2 weeks+ waiting time. Dont waste your time and money here! Update: They have no regards for people s time and they just keep spamming you, regardless of how many times you asked to be put on their DNC list.

Recently called about 3 weeks ago for supervisor to discuss my lawn. No call back. I called again, and they scheduled someone to come out on 9/3. They failed to show. I called on 9/5 to speak with someone and advised by their customer service that they will reach out to management, but they doubt that they will get back to me anytime soon. It is time to move on from this company after 10 years as a loyal customer.

Probably the worst customer service I ve had. Signed up for lawn service with Tom. Somewhere some one dropped the ball no on came to service the lawn for about 3 weeks reached out to the sales person multiple times to finally get a response of oh I ve been on vacation. I ll have to contact the technician to see what is happening. Another week went by no response. Called and texted again he said They ll be a technician out there today. No technician came . Finally a technician came out the next few days and they said Ok, We will be back in two weeks to do a follow up. We are now four weeks since initial service no follow up. I called and spoke to JC, and Darrell the supervisor was supposed to come out on Tuesday and never showed up so I called and spoke with JC and Kendall. I was told I was going to get a service from a supervisor Darrell was going to come out on Friday, it s Friday. No one called. No one showed up when I tried to call to speak with somebody. I get a call center and have somebody will reach back to me in about two business days. I then had to call back and finally got the actual location on the phone with Kendall and told her to cancel my service. She couldn t give me an answer as to why no one showed up. She saw that I was on there for this morning. I canceled service , it s like nobody talks to each other. Nobody knows how to do their job. Nobody follows up and now my yard is worse than when I came to them.

I had the pleasure of working with Joe from Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control today, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. On a Saturday morning, he came out on very short notice to check the rodent traps in my attic. His promptness was truly impressive, and his courteous demeanor made the experience even better. Joe s knowledge and expertise were immediately evident. He took the time to thoroughly explain how termites operate from top to bottom, which was incredibly informative. Not only did he address the rodent issue, but he also helped me add termite protection to my home, ensuring a comprehensive approach to pest control. Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control is exceptionally fortunate to have someone of Joe s caliber on their team. His professionalism and thoroughness are truly commendable. I would wholeheartedly recommend Joe and Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control to anyone in need of top-notch lawn, pest, or termite services.

Current customer but pest control service last week was only applied to front of house. Have left several message but no call back yet. Disappointed ..

Evergreen destroyed my yard. They treated my yard for over two years, and it became infested with chinchbugs. I had them out three times to try and stop them as I watched my yard turn bare. The third time, I asked a Manager to come to my home to get the bugs under control. They sent a Tech with no idea what I was talking about and charged me. I just paid $900 to have 80 pieces of sod to replace what was destroyed. Please save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

We had secured Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control services and after a few initial struggles, Mike Chapman, the GM of this location dug into our concerns and brought a concerted effort to bear. Unfortunately, here we are after over a year of spending hundreds of dollars each month with this company and it is obvious to us and our neighbors, that we have wasted this investment, as our Zoysia lawn is now full of weeds. Whats worse, is that I called to complain about the condition of my lawn and asked for an opportunity to speak to a manager to have this addressed. Instead, the customer service agent, (who was super friendly for what its worth,) clearly speaking to me from an overseas call center, took my information and the net result was a technician coming out the next day and asking to be buzzed in through the community gate. So I buzzed him in and never heard from him again. I dont know if he treated the lawn or not. But I he did not knock on the door, ring the door bell or call me. I did however, find a note left on my front door, indicating that he had treated the lawn. I have since called back, spoken with another friendly call center customer service agent, who was able to cancel our service and stop the wasteful spending an otherwise ineffective service. I only wish I had done that a year ago, before wasting hundreds of dollars.

After 1.5 years of service, I canceled Evergreen Lawn due to declining customer service and quality of work. During this period, I dealt with several problems (double billing, not responsive to calls, property damaged by tech, lack of treatment, etc.). The final straw was recently when the technician claimed he provided service to my entire property, but my cameras told a different story. I immediately contacted customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor. After waiting 20 minutes, I was told a supervisor was not available. In the past, I was able to contact the Apopka office, but it appears the calls now go to a call center that provides little to no help.

Beyond awful!!!!!! I cancelled my service today and Im so glad I did. You cant get through to anyone in the office as all calls are now routed to the Philippines. You ask for someone to call you back and no one calls back or reaches out. I specifically requested for one of their overseas reps to send to me in an email that service was cancelled and thankfully it was sent to me that I no longer want this company coming to our home. Apparently, looks like Im not the only one whose cancelling their services based on the recent reviews.

I ditto all the recent 1-star reviews. You cant get hold of anyone. I have asked for Jeff Vance several times. They tell you someone will call back. No one does. Today, I fired them from doing my dads lawn, which looks horrible. They used to be very good. Poor customer service. Shame on you. This will eventually cost you your business. Update: Ive been following the reviews and see the same canned response to contact them at a certain link. Why? Weve all been trying to reach management with our issues through your regular business number. Is this really going to get action? NO! Its just another tactic to aggrevate you. Why should anyone waste their time to support this company. Suggest if you want to cancel your service, send a letter via USPS certified mail with tracking and state you dont want them on your property or it will be reported as trespassing.

Whether this company is going through restructuring or mergering I dont know but they need to get their act together .... we have been stood up twice in 2 weeks for our yearly termite inspection with no call from the office nor the call center.... you cant even talk to the main office in Apopka and the call center people do not know what theyre doing as I have been given wrong information several times or it changes every time you call. I do not recommend them and we are letting our contract with them expire that we have had for years.

Whatever you do do not use evergreen for your lawn service they took my money but I did not get my service because I canceled them they was not a good company they were supposed to call me prior to time to do the yard because I was having new sod put in and I needed them to do side the road and the backyard Ive been trying to get my money from them ever since May I have not received it yet they keep telling me to give them two weeks the check has been processed here it is 3 weeks I have not heard anything I have not received the check from them they will not let me speak to no one in the building department I paid them on good faith so whatever you do do not use their company people dont have money to just give to them I have not received my money yet theres a bad poor company to to have to do your yard

Mr. David Simms with Evergreen Lawn and Pest came out to service our property on 7/30/2024. This was his first time servicing our home. After he finished his treatment service, he knocked on our door to provide us recommendations. We were out of the country and this didn t answer right away but Mr. Simms patiently waited at the door to ensure he gave us adequate time to possibly answer. I finally answered via our Ring Doorbell from half way across the globe and Mr. Sims kindly carried out the conversation through our digital doorbell. He had concerns and gave us strong recommendations on based on his findings to ensure our grass was safe and watered while we finished our trip. The truth is this HE CARES about our lawn like it s his own! This isn t the first time someone at Evergreen impressed us but Mr. Simms motivated me to submit this 5 STAR review. When I inquired on who to expect: pictures and names were provided in a timely manner. Pest control services were accomplished by same individual. Lawn care technician was informative and patience during my inquiries during our first scheduled service. I look forward to this type of expertise and professionalism to be continued.

I ve used Evergreen for over 20 years now and they have been outstanding. Our yard always looks great and if you ever have questions or problems, they address the right away. We also use them for pest control and have never had an issue. Great value and superb service.

I have been using Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control for little over a year. My lawn looks great now. I have been very happy with their service and friendly service people. I think their rates are reasonable also.

We were Evergreen customers for 6 years and our lawn always looked amazing, techs were friendly and it was easy to get ahold of someone in the Apopka office when needed. We started using them for pest control about a year ago and the product/service wasn t as great but at least it was easy to get a tech back out when we saw insects. Recently they started outsourcing their customer support center and the quality of customer service has gone completely down the drain to the point that we canceled all of our services after being happy for so long. I called to request a tech come out for follow-up pest control as we started the see bugs again after the last treatment and the spiderwebs weren t removed from our property (as they re supposed to do with service) and the rep told me one would be out within 3-4 business days. No one came out or called so I called again and the rep said they would open a new case. Again, no tech and no call. Finally I called 2 weeks after the initial request and received the same run around (Every time you call it s the same script they run through and you have to verify all of your information even if nothing changed) so decided to cancel the service. I asked to please have someone from Apopka call me and haven t heard anything which is really unfortunate after being a customer for so long. Evergreen has been great for the lawn but has been terrible for pest control and the customer support has gone down the drain recently.

Horrible customer service. Rep will lie that they service your lawn and charge your account. Ive had this happen on three separate occasions. Mangement is horrible and will not reach out to you.

Lawn looking better now. It is still filled with weeds. Maybe next year there will be less weeds. I guess I should not expect miracles too soon.

Evergreen Lawn and Pest bought out Service Choice who I have used for 15 years. I cancelled my service this week sadly.... Evergreens customer service is horrible, I called for a representative to come respray the interior, I was told someone would call me within 24 hours...No-one ever called. I called the second time and again get a call center that sounds like a foreign land and again did not call back... Good luck with you acquisition.... 7/09/24- update- you continue to try to bill my credit card for a service that was cancelled in May. Call your own customer service rep Daryl and ask him that we spoke yesterday and acknowledged all services were canceled in May. I originally thought you were just bad at customer service and transitioning into buying Service choice. I am now thinking you are conducting fraud..... Anyone with a credit card on file beware!!!

Several bare spots on my lawn were treated by evergreen and now my lawn is completely green. I would highly recommend them for lawn maintenance.

They were a good company but over the last year have gotten really bad. They have recently merged and now you can t even talk to someone. All calls go to an out of the country call center and no one returns your message. Nice way to treat a long time customer. They have left a lawn full of weeds and now not taking responsibility for the weed issue they caused. That is weak. This is going to cost thousands in new sod. Stay away from this company that can t and won t do what you hired them for. Stay away they are really bad. They have lost 4 others in our area because that got so bad.

Do not use this company. They are fraudulent. Six weeks ago they said they would service my property with their services. To this date, they have not finished those services. However they took my money. Of course to their advantage. They will not return the funds for the services they have yet to complete. The salesman was Charles Widdell. I have a claim with the better business bureau and the state attorney of Florida. It s not about the money, it s about the principal and they seem to think their business is legit when screwing over their clients. They will learn today!

Lots of good feedback from technicians on how I should proceed as well as any issues that need to be addressed discovered during application process and/or regular lawn inspection they always perform. I have been trying to contact customer service scheduling regarding receiving a text from a tech telling me hes on his way to my house and I didnt schedule the appointment and a week later a tech shows up at my door before I could get to the door he was already spraying around my house so I ask him who Schedule him to come out without me scheduled appointment he says Evergreen. Never had a problem before with Evergreen just showing up and cant seem to get anyone help with who is scheduling these appointments

Terrible response time. I have been trying to get a hold of someone to come treat my lawn and after multiple attempts at calling and reaching out I m still waiting. They were so fast to come and get my credit card to start services but when it comes to serving the customer, they are simply terrible. I m sure at one point they had decent service based on past reviews but all the most recent reviews are consistent. They are non-responsive with their billing questions and service calls. I will be reporting them to BBB.

Today I have tried in vain to call the Apopka office. The number that has always been used now goes to a call center. Because the service we recieved today appeared to have been little if anything other than spraying the ground around the house, I requested to be told exactly what the service included for the $97.50 charge. That information is not available. I am irritated that this company has cut away the ability to communicate directly, and recieve the customer service it previously provided. I am now looking into a new provider who trains its people to do a complete job, and who is interested enough in customer feedback to listen, rather than providing soley a third party call center.

Update on two separate days they offered to come out and chat about this. Neither time did anyone show up, call, email or text. I just waited. But Massey did and they offered a lower price. They truly no longer care. Cancel them at your earliest opportunity. I ve been having issues for months, unresolved. Now, you can t even talk to anyone as they are using a call service in India. They are going to lose so many clients. I finally got through to Lisa. I feel bad for her as she is very friendly and professional. I expressed my concerns and explained how the cost savings from that call center will in no way be more than the customers they are losing. She understood and offered to send a tech to my home today. I then deleted my less than favorable Google Review. But today nobody showed up. Do not give this Company your business. I hope Lisa finds something better than this. And the yard service is junk anyway.

Evergreen has serviced our lawn for the past 15 years. Each encounter with their staff has been courteous and responsive. We laid new sod about a year ago and the lawn needed some extra care. Over the last year Justin (I believe that s who our previous tech was) paid special attention to our lawn even visiting between scheduled service to make sure that it was progressing. We had several issues along the way, but that didn t stop him from making things right. The area he was working to restore looks fantastic now! Today Keith and Rashaun serviced our lawn. They were a breath of fresh air too! Such respectful and attentive young men. They greeted me with yes ma am came with ideas on how to thicken up the front just a wonderful experience! Keith and Rashaun, you two are top notch I just can t express in words how sweet you were. To them I was probably just another customer, but to me they made my day-you made me feel like a valued customer. Keep doing what you re doing, you will go far!

Today we had our lawn serviced by Fabio of Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control. He is always very polite and professional. He spent time discussing our problem with dollar weed in our lawn. He described how he was going to treat it and how we should schedule the watering of our lawn after the treatment. We always appreciate his attention to detail and his knowledge and professionalism. Kudos to Fabio.

Updated post. I ve been a customer for over 5 years. I can tell a change in the type of products used recently. My yard is definitely going downhill. Included before and after pictures. Hopefully this can get corrected.

Just fired them after a 10+ year relationship. I have been trying to contact billing to resolve a lawn billing issue that was verbally acknowledged by the Evergreen representative to be incorrect. Phone representatives sent notice to billing, marked urgent, I left voicemails no return calls. Three months of this and I have given up. Poor customer service.

Evergreen Lawn & Pest has been servicing my home for quite some time and has always done a superior job for me. I wanted to make a special not for Jose Melendez Jr. who is an excellent technician and has excellent customer relations, is extremely conscientious and cares deeply about the quality of customer service he delivers. I would highly recommend both Evergreen Lawn and Pest and Jose Melendez Jr. to you for a quality lawn and pest service.

The worst experience ever! After calling several times, l went to there office to complain since no one ever called back. I was told l was blocking there drive way and to note my account was cancelled. Being a senior black woman, l was very disappointed, upset, and surprised to receive such Poor customer service. We became customers 5/11/22 until today 2/23/24. I could say more but what s the point. Customer service gets a 0.

If you value your pets, do not trust this company!! I have a fenced in back yard on the previous 3 services they failed to close the gate. On the first incident, I let my dogs out and was lucky to catch it before the got out. I called and informed them of this issue. No follow up call from any of their management. On the second incident I checked the gate before letting them out the dogs, it was again open. I did not call on this incident. On my 1/23/2024 service, they again failed to shut the gate. I called and canceled my services and let them no the reason why. Zero follow-up from management, not even a simple apology. That tells me everything thing I need to know about Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control.

I have an incorrect charge on my account. Have called twice, was promised a call back by end of day both times and now sent them a message. Still no response. Terrible customer service!

I canceled my service with them. 1 month later, they still came out for their routine service and charged my credit card. I called them about it, but they conveniently have no way of transferring me to billing. Billing hasnt returned any of my calls and I have followed up 3 times with each time being told billing would call me in 1-2 days. Maybe this review will get them to finally call me... Last time I tried getting a hold of them, I had to leave a few voice mails, and I finally got a hold of someone a few weeks later.

Great lawn service! My Lawn had cinch bugs and sod webworms and the lawn was starting to die off. Evergreen stopped the die off and the lawn recovered just in time. Weed germination also went way down. I get a treatment every other month now. I m a happy customer. Give them a try, you won t be disappointed.

I have been using Evergreen for over 6 years after trying two other national lawn care companies with disappointing results. Their technician always knocks on the door and asks if I have any specific problems before he goes to work. Upon completion he leaves a write up of my lawn giving me tips for the best results. My lawn looks fantastic. I live in a community with about 500 homes, and have won yard of the month twice in 3 years. I highly recommend them.

They brought our yard back to life and have kept it up great. Taylor in the office is very helpful and professional.

I want to share that my technician, Jameson James is the kindest, most professional man I have interacted with since using Evergreens service, and it has been many years. I have experienced a significant amount of turnover so my frustration level was high. Even before I met him in person, he contacted me via phone and immediately deescalated the situation. His professionalism speaks volumes about his experience in customer service, and his work ethic is impeccable. Hopefully youre lucky enough to get James on your route. He has given me reason to continue using Evergreens services. Following up on the review below...We continue to be pleased with Evergreen and the services they provide. Both Allen and Ben are supportive of our needs, never to busy to answer our many questions. Our yard continues to be one of the best in the neighborhood. We have and will continue to assert that Evergreen (and their technicians) are far superior than the other landscaping and pest services in this area. Still highly recommend. Our yard has never looked better. Allen, our technician, is thorough, professional and an expert in the field. We would highly recommend.

We are very pleased with the work provided by Justin with Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control. He is professional, experienced and is able to make suggestions as to the care of our yard and landscaping. We are always notified when he will be at our home. He then lets us know he is on site and asks if there are any question on what he is spraying that day. Our yard has improved dramatically over the past year that Justin has been taking care of it. We give them and our tech the highest possible rating. They are an exceptional company in our opinion.

Allen at Evergreen is fantastic, his knowledge has saved many of my queen palms. I have a large yard which is all tropical trees and plants if I call he comes out immediately, issues are solved at that time. Many people in our neighborhood use Evergreen. Positive

Be cautious using this company. The salesman says the price they quote will be every 3rd month (~90 days), but they actually treated (and billed) the lawn every 52+/- days so the cost is much higher than quoted. They will also increase the price without notice unless you pay attention closely (I had automatic billing and it snuck up on me). It was frustrating to get a supervisor to evaluate problem areas on the lawn. I am going to switch to a differenct company. The technicians were professional and courteous. Problem areas of the lawn persisted however.

We are so pleased with EverGreen Lawn Service. After being so disappointed with a previous Company, we found EverGreen to be a quality Service. Our first visit was with, Matthew, who explained our lawns needs and their process in helping us. He was so very friendly and thoughtful in his explanations. When our technician, Casey, arrived, she walked the property with us, explaining our lawns needs and also how we could assist the growth in proper watering and aeration. We saw immediate results in just a couple of weeks after her service. We could not be happier with our decision to employ EverGreen for our lawn service and highly recommend their Company.

I have evergreen for my pest control. They are simply amazing. Had an issue with German roaches, they took care of those quickly. More recently I had an issue with ghost ants around my pool area. They came out multiple times to quickly and efficiently fix the situation. Spencer the tech that has been out to my house a few times deserves a raise. He is a very hard worker and extremely thorough. Highly recommend!

I reached out to Evergreen based on the positive reviews. I received a text on Monday asking for my full name and address, and I responded immediately. I received a follow-up text indicating Tom would contact me to schedule time to assess my lawn. On Thursday I still had not been contacted so I replied that I was still waiting to be contacted. Crickets. Its now Friday--Tom hasnt reached out to schedule an assessment, and the person who initially texted me is not responding either. I dont know how Evergreen stays in business.

They are a good company for lawn service, however be careful if you own small pets as they will get sick. Secondly their billing needs to be adjusted for recurring payments and then I would give them a 5

Today James B service my lawn and after he done he left the invoice at the door and I asked him about Walter the other person that did my lawn before and he doesn t know him so he started to share some new service that Evergreen is doing, adding Pest control for I can request to get the pest control on my account. James explained everything he added to the lawn today and what to be looking for to prevent anymore dollar weed to keep growing. Great service.

Best landscaping company around

We signed up for new service in July 2023. paid initial fees, etc. Very detailed sales pitch up front, then no communication afterwards. Besides the service our lawn looked no different and still had a ton of weeds after 2 treatments. Nearly $500.00 later and no follow up, NOT HAPPY. I get its a business, but no ROI, no customer service, etc. It was so bad that I had a CC on file, and kept getting notices, but no explanation, etc. I called twice with no return calls, and emailed, with no communication. I suggest shop around or go to the big box store and save $400+ dollars and treat your own lawn.

My lawn looks worse now than when I first hired them. Very disappointing, as much was promised but little was given.

I wish I knew how they were, called several times and it just rang and rang, finally got a voicemail and left a message with no response- are they still in business?

This company has really gone downhill since it changed ownership. A technician applied too much chemical to our lawn in an area in the backyard, which burnt the sod and killed it. Since that time, we have had several managers view the damaged area, acknowledge that Evergreen was to blame, and promised to replace the sod. On October 11th, the General Manager, Jeff, personally came to our home and promised to have the sod replaced by Thanksgiving. The sod has still not been replaced, and he has not returned calls or messages to let us know when the issue will be resolved and the sod replaced. It has been nearly half a year that weve been waiting on them to correct their mistake.

I re-sodded my lawn a few years ago and hired Evergreen to take care of the spraying and fertilizing. Everything was fine for the first year, but this year chinch bugs took over my lawn. I called them multiple times, and it took them weeks to come out to spray, they never returned any of my calls, they never came out and resprayed in time so the chinch bugs kept coming back. As a result, I lost about 50% of my grass. Ive been calling and calling them to try to get someone to come out to address my concerns. Every time, they send out a supervisor who then never calls me back. Then next time a different supervisor. Ive spent months calling them with no return calls, asking them to have a supervisor call me, and every time they dont follow through. The communication is absolutely horrible, and they do not stand behind their work. I definitely do not recommend them.

When we purchased the property 3 years ago, the previous owners recommended that we continue to use Evergreens services to maintain the lawn, shrubs, and rose gardens. This turned out to be an excellent recommendation. Our technician, Justin Ellenburg, has been maintaining this property for many years. He is so helpful explaining the unique requirements of Florida flora and fauna as well as the particulars of our plants. He always takes the time to explain what he is doing each visit. He answers our questions, and most important, when he sees something that needs to be addressed he shows us the issue and recommends how we should proceed. His knowledge makes such a difference. Original review done in Nov 2022, communication and scheduling issues persisted throughout life of service. Cancelled service as of Jan 2024. Original review: I am a new customer and Tom was the sales rep and Adam is the supervisor for my area who performed my first service of lawn fertilization, pest control, and weed control. The first service was almost rescheduled, and this is a discouraging due to me telling them about my previous inconsistent experience with other lawn care services. After talking to Tom and Adam it was swiftly remediated, but sadly issues arose again. Update as of Feb 2023: Thankfully Mike was kind enough to resolve them. Updated end of 2023: Services were still late or not done at all leaving my lawn looking untreated. Updated as of Jan 8 2023: Services have been cancelled. Sadly, evergreen performed several visits, but missed more appointments than they completed. My lawn is not looking good at all and the area manager Adam stated it doesnt even look like my lane is being treated. This is unacceptable considering how much Ive spent on services with Evergreen. Adam knows the reasons for my several phone calls and sadly nothing more can be done but I keep being treated the same. So, time for a new company to properly treat my lawn.

Ive had Evergreen for awhile now and love the service! Our technician Anthony is professional, friendly and knows what hes doing. At this time of year, Im reminded why I use this service. Their follow-up to when my lawn was in crisis mode was unsatisfactory. Used them for 3 years until I had a problem that needed addressed and lawn deteriorated so fast without at tech arriving that we had to find another service to handle problem From experts and other information online my lawn should not have been in crisis mode either if prevention was being properly applied in the first place. A lawn can go from hero to zero in matter of a week yet they didnt act fast to handle our problem. I am aware of their other positive reviews but that was not my experience with our June 2022 experience. No immediate action to help save $1200 in sod.

I contracted with Evergreen when I first bought my home in Mount Dora, FL in January 2022. I did so based on great reviews from many of my neighbors on my street and around my neighborhood. Our Evergreen Technician, Clifford Alan Reed, is absolutely the best! He inspected my property and developed a plan to handle a heavy weed problem and sick looking shrubs. He now regularly services our property with the proper fertilizers, pest and weed control and over the course of the last 6 months, it looks like a new property. Our neighbors stop to admire the bright green and lush lawns and thriving plantings. THANK YOU Clifford and Evergreen for our spactacular and thriving lawns and gardens! I also want to add that on the occasions I have called into the Apopka office with questions or to pay my Invoice, Lisa Brees who answers the phone has been wonderful to deal with. I had an appointment with Tom a little over a month ago to talk about their lawn fertilization program. He offered me a package that was quite expensive compared to Massey/Hurst/TruGreen etc. (almost double the price) but assured me that it was worth it because of the customer care and quality of the service. He stated I can reach out to him at any time about any concerns and he will make sure it is taken care of. This really made the premium price seem worth it. The package he offered me was an initial service and then a follow up service 3 weeks later to address anything that had been missed and then service every 1.5 months after that which sounded great. I had my first service scheduled pretty quickly and then 3 weeks went by and nobody came out. But my credit card had already been charged for the first 2 services. I called Tom a few times, no answer. I texted him, no response. I texted him a few days later again and he responded and said he would let the office know. I waited a week and nothing from the office, nothing from him. I called them to cancel my service because this entire ordeal was the opposite of what was sold to me. They told me it would be weeks before I would see a refund. If you like to babysit your lawn care provider, then go with evergreen.

We hired Evergreen Lawn & Pest Control for Lawn, Pest & Shrub Service. This is the best of these services that weve had in the 2 years weve been here in Florida. They are responsive whenever we have a question or concern. They have helped our landscape recover from pests resulting from the fluctuating rainfall this season and really saved our landscape. Our Technician, Ben, is thorough in both his treatment and explanation of the issues he has found and corrected. It gives us peace of mind to be able to trust his experience and expertise. Were very grateful to have him and for the entire staff at Evergreen, who have been so accommodating and personable. Thank you and keep up the excellent work!

This company killed one of my topiaries. Said they would replace it. Never came. Failed at removing bee hives several occasions. Never fully removed the hives. They have the nerve to charge me a $89 fee for three months they did not service me? We cancelled services prior to them charging us again bc they lied about replacing the bush. I have it on tape. What a horrible company. They lack integrity.

This company came highly recommended to me and I have been extremely disappointed in both their work and their customer service. I had recently placed new sod in my yard and chose Evergreen to treat for weeds and insects. Neither weeds or insects were properly controlled by Evergreen s service and I am now switching companies in hopes of saving my new lawn. As for their customer service, I repeatedly asked to be proved a text or email when the lawn service would be provided. I did not get any notice a majority of the time. When I finally called to cancel the service I was sent to a sales rep who could do absolutely nothing for me. She assured me I would get a phone call back. I didn t. I called again a week later, at least this sales rep saw a note about wanting a call back and said she would immediately pass this on to a manager. The next day the manager did call me but of course I wasn t available and I called back again about an hour later and left another message. I still never heard back from a manager after a week. I do not recommend this company at all. There are many other lawn care companies in central Florida. Go elsewhere!

They were great a few years ago when we hired them. Guy that sprayed our lawn was terrific and communicated well. New guy is terrible. After several times of him saying he sprayed our lawn, when he stayed for about 5 minutes (can t spray a 1/2 acre that fast), we had a manager come out and confirm it wasn t done. Happened again the next time so we cancelled our service. I know it s hard to find good help but we were 10 year customers that are now gone.

I have used Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control for 2 years and am extremely satisfied with the service that I receive from my technician, Tony. He leaves detailed notes with every visit and treats pests before they become an issue. My neighbors comment on my lawn and how beautifully maintained it is. Technician Jose Jr is great. Always knocks to make sure I know he is there. He asks if I have any problems then he addresses them. If he sees any problems, he shows me and tells me what he is going to do or what I can do if it is water etc.

I installed Zoysia grass last fall and Evergreen has been taking care of fertilizing and weed control, as well as advising me about watering and cutting height. Fred stopped by just to check on it and see if I had any concerns. Also, when I had a question about fungus, Adam came out and treated it at no additional charge and reassured me that they had everything under control. Excellent customer service and I believe they are the experts in the lawn maintenance field. So glad Duda sod recommended Evergreen to me. They are the best!

Im a DIY kind guy and I gave my lawn a solid go! However, I was no match for weeds! I tried everything from Home Depot/Lowes nothing really worked. The situation got really bad with dolly weeds, it was taking over my lawn. I was concerned with the current state of the lawn. I noticed My neighbor was having the same issue until he signed up with Evergreen/Ryan B listed as the tech. I loved the results and decided to give up my DIY battle and let Evergreen/Rayn take a crack it. I figure, no contracts, I can back out of it if Im not happy. I know this will sound like its too good to be true! However, its a true story! After the initial estimate/tips/advise, Ryan B came out and he did his thing. 7-9 days later, my lawn looked amazing! Dolly Weeds were just about 90% gone! Deep green color and it started to look lively again. within 9 days or so Ryan came back out. Check on things, gave a few areas a touch up (For Free, part of the initial service) and I wish you could see it now. So happy I took the risk! Ryan B, youre the MAN! Thank you sir!

So glad I called Evergreen they had me set up for an estimate easily and within two visits from the pest control manager Joe dicamillo we didnt see anymore signs of cockroachs. Joe was very knowledgeable and explained ways to help further prevent a future infestation. He was very professional and polite even explained to me what he was putting out and how it works. I would recommend asking for Joe Dicamillo personally because he does exceptional work..

We have been customers of Evegreen for several years, primarily using them for ornamental shrub care (fertilizing/ insecticide/ fungus control). We have always found the company responsive and professional. However the Tech that has been servicing our property most recently - Corey Mills - has been the most polite, professional and consistently detailed in his work. He truly takes time to assess the need & care for ALL of the plants in the front yard. A big THANK YOU to Corey and Evergreen! Commendation does for a person, what sunshine and rain do for a flower.

We have been using Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control for the last 4 yrs. This year I decided to add the yard aeration to our service, shortly after our aeration I had noticed that our sprinklers were not working in our backyard. I called Evergreen and they immediately sent out Allen. Allen showed up to look at our system as schedule and he found the issue. It was not an issue that was caused by the aeration but something totally different, but that made no difference to Allen. He looked at the issue, told us he had to run to Lowes to pick up a few parts and would be back in an hour and he came back and fixed our irrigation system. Allen told us he wanted to fix it as he knew our sprinkler repairman would not be able to get to us until later the next week due to it was a Friday. He didnt want our yard to get any worse, he fixed it and told us how to water it to bring it back. Allen went above and beyond as far as customer service and I would highly recommend Evergreen and Allen for your yard. Thank you for the excellent service ALLEN! We truly appreciate you!

I ve been with evergreen for a little over a year and half. I ve tried a couple others along the way with hit or miss results. Evergreen has been awesome. My yard looks 10 times better than it did when drake was managing it. I ve had the same tech the whole time -Tony out of Deland- deserves to be paid his weight in gold- He s professional, gives great tips on what I can do to help with the yard and listens to my concerns/answers all of my questions. The best part, he cares. Sad to say- now and days this is hard to come by. His caring shows through with the quality of work he provides.

I have been a customer of Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control for several years and am very pleased with the service I receive. Recently my lawn was invaded with sod web worms, overnight my lawn went from green to brown, needless to say I was frantic.....literally. I called Evergreen and they sent out service technician, David, who immediately knew what the problem was and went about treating my lawn. David was very thorough and said he would be back in 7 to 10 days to make sure the treatment worked. I highly recommend this company and thank goodness they had David on their staff.

I have been using Evergreen for a number of years now and my yard continues to look great. They are always responsive if I call with a question or concern. They notify me the day before service to ensure I have my gate unlocked for the technician.A special shout out to Tito, who has been my assigned service technician for at least the past year. He is professional, polite, takes time to understand my concerns, has a familiarity with the challenges of my yard, and takes time to explain any issues and what services he will be performing. We started having Evergreen provide regular treatments on our lawn several years ago. For the first couple years, we were satisfied with their service and our lawn was doing well. We were also pleased that Evergreen appeared to try to keep the same couple technicians on our route, rather than sending out a constantly changing cast of characters to treat our lawn. But that all changed a couple years ago. I dont know whether the company changed hands or just hired new management/supervision, but starting in 2019 the level of service started to decline dramatically and the condition of our yard also degraded. By the end of 2020, we were so dissatisfied that we finally terminated Evergreens service. It has taken some time, but our lawn is finally starting to look much better, now that our regular lawn maintenance company is handling the fertilization and insect control, in addition to their regular lawn service (mowing, trimming, etc). Best of all, were saving money compared to paying separately for Evergreen, so its ended up being a win/win. I simply cannot recommend Evergreen to anyone.

Weve been using Evergreen Pest Control for a little over a year now, and I cannot say enough about their technicians and the attention to detail. Because we are on a country lot, its super difficult to deal with all of the wasps but these guys take the time to spray and knock down every nest they find (one time it was a total of 38!) and as a mom to a young child who doesnt know to leave them alone yet, I appreciate the time they take.

The new tech that came today did and excellent job! He explain what he was going to do and took his time doing the weed and fertilizer applications. Hard worker young man and very dedicated. He s a keeper!! Take care of him! Excellent job!

I called Evergreen about an ant issue I was having inside the house. They regularly do my pest control on the outside as well. Juston came out last Friday, identified what kind ants they were and explained to me how he was going to treat for them. After completing this he then went outside and did the regular pest control service. After a couple of days, the ants were gone. I have had Evergreen for my pest control and lawn and shrub treatments for quite a few years and am very happy with them. Ive also recommended them to several of my neighbors.

Had bad experience with these guys. They are highly unprofessional and rude. They ruined our lawn and never offered to fix the problem .

We hired Evergreen when we purchased our home in September of 2021. We had fire ants, drought damage because the irrigation system had not been working what appeared to be for some time. The lawns, shrubs, palms and trees were nutrient deficient and we had weed infestation and fungal disease, insects. We called the company regarding the treatment for the Brown Patch Fungus and the application and asked for the green/blue dye to be changed as we have a pet and response was immediate and changes are implemented. The company I used before Evergreen sent a Tech and he parked in front of our neighbors house where I could NOT see his truck and I NEVER saw him in our yard, yet there would always be a bill on the door . . . With Evergreen On each visit, they ALWAYS ask if we have any concerns with our yard or plants and will discuss anything we might bring up. If the Tech does not know the answer, Management shows up within a couple of days to rectify situation. They spend time needed and do a good job covering our yard. Everyone has been very friendly.

I have had several other pest control services in the past and by far Evergreen is significantly better. You have dedicated service to your lawn, so over time they are better suited to treat what they see. Anthony services our yard and he is always extremely thorough, spends significant time specifically treating anything he may discover during the visit, as opposed to simply spraying the yard and leaving in 15 minutes. He is always extremely courteous, lets me know when he is there and ensures the gates are closed when he leaves since we have dogs. Lastly, before he leaves he takes the time to write very thorough notes of everything he found and how he treated to combat it. He is a true professional who cares about is work and it shows; he is phenomenal. Our yard has never looked better!

I can t say enough good things about Trey. We moved into our home nearly a year ago and had hands down the worst lawn on the block. We spent so much time and money on the interior that our grass and shrubs suffered. I spoke to some neighbors recently and some use TruGreen, others use Massey, but our neighbor on the corner guy uses Evergreen and I mean, his lawn looks like something you d see at Disney World. Trey came over and spent an hour with us even though he knew he couldn t service our yard. He gave us so much helpful advice on how we could revitalize our St. Augustine and get rid of the Bahia and weeds which run rampant in our yard. He s an honest and hard working man and cares more about customer service and reputation than just selling a service/product that won t be able to fix all the issues. He treats your lawn like a living organism (which it is!!) and not just some grass and dirt. I could go on and on but I just wanted to say that Trey is amazing and that as soon as we get our lawn reasonably improved, we re going with Evergreen and can t want to have the best lawn in our neighborhood.

There are many negative reviews against TRUgreen now. Lawn looks yellow after their treatment. The technicians pretend to do the spraying but are discovered that they just drive and stop by the house. Cameras at the front captured their fake services but still bill for their services. Evergreen, it is the time for you to shine and attract more customers. I will refer more customers without reservations to Evergreen. Thank you.

After a summer of rain, rain, and more rain, our lawn wasnt looking its best. Our lawn was yellowing earlier than the normal dormant season and with the cooler temperatures setting in, we noticed fungus in the St Augustine turf in the front yard and the Empire Zoysia in the back yard. My call to Evergreen resulted in the general manager, Michael, calling back to ask if he could come by to assess our yard. His immediate response gave me great confidence in Evergreen. Two days later, Rick, a regional manager, came by to treat our yard with an autumn weed and feed application, a liquid iron application, and Rick spot treated some sedge that he noticed. I recently cancelled my service because the quality of the lawn has been getting worse over the past year. I have been using Evergreen for the past 3 years and each time theres a different tech(s) that work on my yard, some do more work than others and lately I have been getting the short end of the stick. One theory I have is that Evergreen treats 3 houses in a row, mine being the last one before they leave. I have read on the fee slip he left on the door about what he did and it was not what was done. On several occasions, especially the last visit the technician wrote he broadcast spread the entire yard to promote a more green and healthy lawn. I went to the video and he only treated the very edges of my yard, my neighbors got their entire yards treated. I believe that because my house is last on the ticket, he does the minimal treatment, loads up the truck and leaves. I have watched him spend maybe 10 minutes on my yard vs. up to 25-30 minutes on my neighbors yards. Im going to use another company that is smaller and family owned in hopes of getting better customer service. It costs more but if my lawn can look better and avoid the emerging crabgrass then it will be well worth it, as right now Im paying for virtually nothing. The only thing I wish I would have done sooner is cancel a year ago. There seems to be a high turnover rate with this company as I dont think Ive ever had the same technician twice, all varying in technique and quality. My lawn is being taken over by crabgrass now and it could have been avoided if they noticed it and sprayed pre-emergent crabgrass herbicide. On my last fee ticket it said theres nothing that we can do about your crabgrass....you must dig it up and resod. Funny, because the new company said they can kill it and slowing bring back the St. Augustine so its back in charge. Evergreen might be a good company for some folks but they just phoned it in on my yard. Good Luck to everyone! Response to owner: This is not Mr. Reck, thats my neighbor. If the other treatments would have been applied properly as stated on my fee slip then maybe the pre-emergent herbicide may have helped, maybe. However, my contention is that it was never laid down in the manner it should have been, because I have seen so many times when my yard was just glossed over quickly that I didnt feel enough application as done in order for it to be effective. Companies and people dont like bad reviews, I get it. But Im not going to write a review that untruthful based on my experience. Also, if a supervisor came to speak with me personally, what exactly would that accomplish? I had already given the trust in using your company and while I know theres no silver bullet to treat crabgrass or any other fungus in a lawn, what I can I see is whether or not the product I had paid for is actually being applied to my lawn...not a quick dusting around the edges and leave, that is the crux of my poor review. There should have been equal time spent on my yard as that of my neighbors.

On multiple occasions, he has seen me out in my yard and stopped to see if there were any issues and checked to see if I had any questions - and it wasn t even my day for service, he was in the neighborhood on another assignment. I have never had that happen before as technicians for other companies drive right past. Jose is personable and takes great pride in his work.

I had been a long time customer of another service company, but constant turn over in techs finally made me want to make a switch. Evergreen so far has done the job I had been expecting. Adam, who performed our last service spent nearly two hours on a Saturday (no less) and did specific treatments throughout the entire yard. In two months the front yard is nearly recovered and I expect to see the same in the back based on the effort and work they have done so far.

We love Evergreen! We hired them to treat our lawn and it didn t take long for our neighbors to notice. Now most of our neighbors use them too! They do a great job and are very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend them to all of our friends and family.

I had a similar experience as one of the reviewers. Evergreen Destroyed my lawn and made all sorts of promises they never followed up on. I called them numerous times and I talked to one of there supervisors. More lip service and no follow ups. I have done several services myself to get my lawn back in decent condition. UPDATE- I now have a new lawn care company and my yard looks fantastic... The response below from Evergreen is just the same lip service I received when I was a customer. I gave them 2 seasons (2 years) to fix the problem they created. I would have to say avoid them and look elsewhere.

This is a fantastic company with professional and speedy customer service. I highly recommend evergreen to anyone looking for lawn fertilization and pest control. Technicians are very knowledgeable.

I have used several companies and Evergreen is the only one that made a huge difference in my lawn, shrubs and trees! The two earlier companies told me my robellini palms were yellow due to over watering. Once Evergreen started their service, they greened up quickly and have been that way for a long time now. My grass has gotten much thicker and greener. Very impressed! Update 6-19-17. Sadly, I have had to terminate Evergreen Lawn and Pest Control. Every time there was an issue, the issue was blamed on something else. The folks that have cut my lawn for years indicated that they have experienced this type of reaction throughout the industry.

Good 1st service. Prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable about lawn care. Used blower to clean sand off sidewalk. Would be four stars but he stopped cleaning the sidewalk where it touches the side along the backyard

I had the greatest experience with the lawn company Evergreen. Great customer service and attention to detail. Ive used a lot of other lawn companies in the past few years and none compare to Evergreen. I spoke with a gentleman named Chris Garrett, very informative and well spoken in the lawn pesticide field. I would recommend them to anyone out there who is having lawn problems.

Just started with Evergreen a few moths ago. The customer service is great, much better then the previous companie I was using. In a few more months I will know if the service matches the customer care.

I switched to Evergreen after my long time lawn care company could no longer treat my property. Although skeptical of using a bigger company I must say I am very pleased with the service. One of the main reasons for this is that my technician Zack has been a pleasure to work with. He answers all my questions, makes very informed suggestions and also makes a point to let me know he is here with each visit. So far it has been a great experience and my lawn looks better than ever.

We were very please with Anthonys visit yesterday. He was able to educate us about how we could get rid of the fungus in our St. Augustine and even followed up with a phone call to make sure we had adjusted the watering system and whether we had any additional questions. This customer service is so rare and treat when you get it.

We called and cancelled Evergreen back in 2014 because we were not happy with their service and never heard from them again until we got a phone call from a collection agency in 2016 stating we owe $134 and the account was cancelled due to non payment. So shady. They never called or sent a bill. So shady.

Dont ever sign up for lawn care or pest control. They have lied to us about I have canceled the service over the phone but I did not asked for canceled service. They wants to charge us for reactivate account. Forget!

We have had a Contract for over a year with them & for some reason we have more weeds than ever, called after the last treatment they did and canceled my Contract, so they send me a bill & I call to get them back out to honor the bill, she said no you canceled so we cant do anything! What in the world greedy as they come, do not use these people or you are asking to get ripped off!!!

Only been with these guys a few months but a HUGE step up from my previous two lawn care companies! They actually knock on my door to show me whats going on!

I have a vacation property down in Orlando that I visit 5-6 times a year, my eyes are always there through my cameras. Several times I have watched them spraying my lawn to make sure Im getting my moneys worth. Needless to say they cover it 100% and never seem in a rush! Tough to find a company who is more focused on quality than quantity of these days! This is the REAL DEAL!

My experience with Evergreen is absolutely amazing if I must say. I have been using their services for three years now, and my lawn looks beautiful. I have the most courteous technician named Albert H. He makes sure I understand whats going on with my lawn each visit. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of true professional lawn care.

PEOPLE BEWARE!! Ive been an Evergreen customer for 5 years and never had a problem with them till now. On July, 28th 2015, I had an Early summer care done by a new tech of the company. After he left a week or two later I noticed my lawn was dying. I called them up they sent out a supervisor by the name of Jake. Jake said he would be coming each week to spray my lawn with superthrive. I asked him what was wrong and he said he wasnt sure yet. On 8/24/2015, Jake came back lawn was worse and I asked what was wrong and he said it was an over kill of weed killer. He was going to be coming back each week to encourage new growth which he did and also put it in writing. On 9/10/2015, he came back and he said he did not think it was going to come back and he was going to give me a letter from the company which I have been asking for. Jake said it would have to be replaced but not to spring of 2016 because its to late right now. In December he said he will be spraying every 2-3 weeks because its winter. Also, he told me on Jan 12th 2016 after he came off of vacation he would have a letter for me from Jim the owner stating that they would replace my lawn in the spring of 2016. On Jan 13 2016 Jake came with a person by the name of Rob. Jake would not look me in the face Rob said there would be no letter, no replacement and we will no longer service you. After killing my lawn months of promises for a letter and a DEAD lawn they walked out the door on me! Jake said dont let anyone know what happen to this lawn or you wont be happy from the outcome of the company! Well lets see here I contacted news channels already, BBB and doing reviews on all the sites to warn people of these animals!!! Also, Jake told us he carries a gun (which he is not suppose to tell anyone as the cops said its against policy) so just warning you ALL out there as well!! Please think twice before using this company. This is not a company that I would ever recommend to anyone. I would not want this to happen to anyone else.

Evergreeen takes care of our lawn and home pest control. They do a great job, technicians are friendly, knowledgeable, and give me confidence. The lawn has never looked this good and we never see any household pests.
